12/19/20: I received a response to this review( the same day I posted my review) before I received any communication about my dishwasher. I find it very disheartening to see that this management company (Pinnacle) is more concerned with a review than actually providing the services they advertised. So as I said before, I WOULD NOT RENT HERE.12/17/20: The location is great, however with no amenities and poor customer service, I would not recommend this building to ANYONE. I would recommend you look at other buildings around the neighborhood first before considering The greenhouse.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this building to anyone. I have lived here for a few years and this is the worst it has ever been. We have not had access to our core amenities ( Gym, Clubhouse, Rooftop) for months. The Front Desk and Maintenance staff are friendly... but they are not responsive to emails or phone calls. They do not communicate with one another, especially on maintenance issues. I have had a broken dishwasher for a month now. I was told that it was user error at first, but it turns out that there is an actual technical issue. I have called several times, sent several emails and yet the issue still persists. In addition, this building has terrible security. Meaning there are often bikes stolen from the garage, TVs stolen from the clubhouse, and vagrants sleeping in the clubhouse. There use to be a janitor that came daily to clean the common areas like the elevators and this was reduce (and during a pandemic no less).I use to enjoy living here, but after my experiences, I would never recommend this place. I am only giving 1 star because the staff are nice.

I just move in and have to say, viewing the unit/renting and going through the process was so easy and simple! Mirchelle and Blythe where really fast on getting back to me resolving and answering all my questions! I do really love the neighborhood and the apartment is comfy, love the huge windows and how moving was easy with the huge elevator! Will update in a year, so far really happy!

GreenHouse is a great apartment building! I love the rooftop, it has great views, a fire pit, BBQs, and some nice outdoor greenery - a nice escape in the city. It’s walkable to grocery and a few different restaurants and shops, which is convenient. The staff, Pake, Blythe, and AJ are all super friendly and respond quickly. My pup loves the treats that are always in the lobby.

I moved into this apartment complex in March 2020 and am very happy. Location is great - a wide selection of restaurants to choose from, Lightrail lies within walking distance and a wonderful community rooftop deck with stunning views. The star of the show and also the reason I chose this place over others in the neighborhood is the property management. I do need to call out Mirchelle for her exceptional help and support which is even more critical during Covid-19. I feel very welcome here and love the diversity. The rooftop deck is a great way to connect with other tenants and really makes this feel like a community.

I have lived at this beautiful community for almost 2 years and definitely will be renewing my lease. Everyone i have worked with has been absolutely amazing, especially Tiffani- she is so helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure any issues are resolved. I love the location- it is so up and coming and the price cannot be beat and not to mention awesome amenities! I definitely utilize the fitness center regularly and LOVE the rooftop deck on a nice (dry) night. :) I recommend this place to everyone!

Management is extremely rude & doesnt do anything to help its tenants. Myself and several others in the building have experienced countless package thefts. The woman in the office refuses to check the cameras & blames the tenant for package loss even though we pay for secure locker. The old manager Tiffany was happy to help with mail. So grateful to have gotten to move away from this place - moved out after I experienced being bit by bedbugs. They never pay the Xfinity bill in the lounge area & roof was unaccessible for 9 months, with no retribution for the loss of our rooftop garden. On top of all of these reasons I moved into this building because of its commitment to being eco friendly- when the new manager Mirchelle came in she started using dollar store chemical cleaning products throughout the hallways and building, as well as doing her own maintenance inside apartments. At $2k a month this place is truly a joke - the only benefit is the light rail+ PCC markets across the street.

Dont expect any roof access soon. And the place gets rather dirty, slowly but surely. Windows need to be cleaned, hallways, lounge, and common areas are rather grimy and not very well kept. I like the apartment and location but dont believe the old photos. Also, before mentioned lovely and helpful Tiffany has left.

Edit 3/3/20: Based on the comment below, there is yet continued confusion about what the actual problem is. The SODA check reaching us was one issue; however, its clear that Lindsay hasnt read the problem to begin with, and provides no contact information from Bell (the parent company), even though its clear that going through the Greenhouse doesnt get us anywhere. Leaving my review at 1/5 as a result. Would drop lower if I could.Post-tenant review. While living here, I thought that the location and the overall apartment was fine. There were quirks, including major management issues, over the course of the two years--to be expected with any mid-size complex. That being said, I was incredibly displeased with the entire transition out of this building. Two major things happened that really angered and frustrated me, one small and one large: 1) after moving out, I received really negative communication from the management/staff regarding packages sent to the building in my name--despite working with me to come to a good resolution, it seemed like getting me away from the building was the top priority; and 2) the customer service in dealing with money following moving out. This is complex, but it essentially can be summarized as follows: my room mate and I, after two years of living as great tenants in this building, were given a deal to move out slightly earlier than our move-out date, in exchange for covered cleaning costs; this accommodation was fantastic! But when we finally got moved out and received our check with the money owed to us from the pro-rate and the security, we were dismayed to find a significantly smaller sum than expected. We politely requested a breakdown of the charges for moving out (or at least some degree of an invoice that would explain our situation) and got nothing. We asked again, politely. And again. We asked more or less 10 times over the course of four months after moving out, taking into account possible difficulties with the holidays in the winter. But every time we were given a completely cold shoulder. I personally suspect this is because the money was not tracked and that type of breakdown would not be possible. Or worse: something criminal. The fact that there is no accountability is mind blowing. My room mate and I intend to file a complaint with the parent company in the meantime, and I strongly encourage you to reconsider if you are thinking about working with this company to stay at this complex. Transparency isnt that difficult, nor is customer service. But apparently its just too difficult for the people working at the Greenhouse.

Dont get me wrong. This is a beautiful building with beautiful landscaping. The mission of being green is admirable. The only problem with this establishment is that the management lacks customer service. The office is rarely open because there will only be one person on staff and they seem to be out frequently. They are hit and miss with their package delivery system and letting you know if something has arrived. They hire temporary workers to work on the weekends, so if you have any questions, the temp help cannot assist you. That is when you can actually find someone in the office. They are not great at returning phone calls and since they became the new management the grounds have lacked the impeccable care that was given prior. I would highly recommend staying away from this business unless you cant find somewhere else to live. The service is the worst part of it all and it makes you appreciate good customer service in all other aspects of your life.

I lived at Greenhouse Apts for 15 months. During that time there was a cockroach problem, my washing machine broke and it took 4 weeks for them to order a new one, I was accidentally overcharged on two occasions, the neighbors where loud and through cigarette butts onto my patio from their window above (took a month of complaining for it to stop). Lastly, I’m having to follow up months after I’ve moved out for my deposit to be returned.Management was very nice to talk with, and the grounds around the building are beautiful.I wouldn’t move back, but loved being so close to Columbia City’s shops.

The new management of this place has really taken away from the positive living experience my wife and I were enjoying before they came in. Wishing the old management company were still around. We didnt realize how much we appreciated them until we had to deal with the inconsistencies and blatant disregard for tenants that this company exhibits.

Absolutely loved living in these apartments. The only reason we didn’t renew our lease is because we are moving across the country. The layout of our apartment was perfect for the most part. The only complaint we had was the location of the washer/dryer behind the bathroom door and that the walk in closet probably should have had a sliding door. Everything else has been great. The granite countertops were easy to keep clean and beautiful. I loved having a kitchen island again and the location is pretty hard to beat. The place is pet friendly and within walking distance to a great vet clinic and a dog park. He light rail is also within walking distance and bus line 8 is steps from the front door.We never used the parking so we can’t speak on it however we did notice when we were moving out that the spots were compact. I did see a few crossovers and small SUVs parked easily in them.Customer service was always great for us. I always got prompt responses to emails and if I called during business hours I usually got an answer. Akili and Tiffani always kept it friendly and professional and we loved that they were knowledgeable when we had questions for them about pretty much everything from coffee places (whether you’re basic or a snob) to the fine print on the lease. They were always here for us and at times went above and beyond when we were wouldn’t be home by office hours.Other than the heat is the summer this place has been a joy to live. We are sad to be leaving.

The apartment itself is nice, although wierd things are broken. Location is great. Things go wrong constantly and the management is terrible at making up for it or even dealing with it. Our wash flooded the first night we lived there, packages get stolen and they do nothing, I still havent gotten a working key to get in from my parking spot, and all I hear is them saying they are sorry but no action is taken. They could at least comp us the Damn parking spot. Oh also they charge the same wierd 4.25 fee for everything every month. Cute area find a diffrent place. *EDIT after owner response: the package lockers are brand new and not yet in use so please dont make it seem like I am avoiding solutions. Also I spoke to the nice mangers twice about the key and was told they would get us new ones. I am not very satisfied with your response to this.

Dont ever rent from them, for the prices they charge you can get an apartment close to downtown and also they will charge $350 for security deposit saying its fully refundable, but will deduct $250 when you move out saying apartment required a full clean, regardless of the condition of the apartment, just bad business policies, So rent a place at your own risk
