I have tried leaving voicemails, for Greystar Rental. I have also gone to my rental office. This dates way back to early February. Its April and I HAVE YET TO CONTACT SOMEONE. Im so unbelievably angry. There are tenant laws in place and I need someone to contact me. You make it so that rent can be paid online no questions asked, but its impossible to contact you guys. The Woodmark staff also is notorious for we will have some on call you or omg have you still not received a call? This is ridiculous
Greystar doesnt resolve resident problems at their apartment communities. Theyll be nice and kind to your face, but nothing will be done to remedy the situation. They advertise luxury apartments, but theyre more like rotten fruit thats been covered with a nice shiny wax to make them look good. And they love to use the word serenity to describe their types of communities, but its anything but serene. I would highly encourage you to take your money to a place that values you as a resident instead of throwing it away to live in a never-ending nightmare.
These folks do not return calls or answer their phone. They charged me $745 extra for fees related to a notice to vacate despite my indication I was not going to stay in their apartment beyond August. They train their employees to drive collections and automate their web portal to incur late fees even if your payment have submitted before.Tip for New Residents: 1. Ask about their noise policy 2. Ask for a notice to vacate print it and then sign it when you sign the lease (including the move out date) 3. Ask how much the clean out fee is and for WHAT? 4. Ask when the accounting period starts and stops 5. Ask what the total charges range from month to month with utilities, remittance, and rent because it fluctuates from $70 to $120 monthly (even if you hang your clothes, use Instapot instead of stove, etc.)
Ive called and left messages for over 3 days. I cant find an email online. Theres simply no way to contact this company.
I’ve been dealing with a woman named Cecilia G in the receivables department who is either incompetent or incapable of understanding my very basic questions. It’s clear as day that she performs poorly at her job of being the point of contact for tenants, as she is hostile and completely unhelpful.I’ve asked for receipts for the exorbitant cleaning/painting charges made to me after moving out, and she repeatedly refers me to the invoice, despite my repeatedly pointing out that invoices are not the same as the receipts. I’m looking for proof of payment. If the $800 or so in cleaning fees were paid out to this vendor, why can’t Greystone simply send me the receipt copy? That way I know they’re not just generating bogus invoices as a ploy to take my security deposit from me, and in fact paying their vendor substantially less.Any cleaning left on the place was minimal, and I have pictures to show that clearly. It’s unfortunate that Greystone chooses to treat their tenants this way, as it’s not just unethical, but poor business practice.
They owe my wife and I over $380, and we have spent more than a YEAR trying to get the money back. They admit they owe it, but simply dont answer the phone or call/email back. Horrible company. Im going to contact the media soon.
This is the worsted experience I ever had with any apartments company rental!!! There property manager are so lazy all they do is play on there laptops looking on Amazon they dont do no dam work. I have ask them so many time to vacuum the hallway and the awful smell coming from it. It has already been 8 moths and there nothing have been done. So I sent a email to the health inspector hopefully they can do something about this. As a property manager the first things you should do be for going to your desk is do a walk around down all the hallway to make sure everything is correct. Peoples are leaving there trash can out by there door over 24 hr there trash along the hallway peoples are smoking in the hall they say they have security but I never see the guard walk around. I never met such lazy people in my life. Worsted company to rent with dont recommend it.
I notified them about a bedbug I saw outside a neighbors apartment. They took no action. A couple weeks later, brought a live adult bedbug to their front office that I saw by my door, inside my apartment. Still no action. They allowed my apartment to become infested, then charged me, after they failed to respond to a 5-day notice. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit
After never receiving our move-out statement in the mail, we received an email with it 10 MONTHS LATER informing us that we owed them $650. Our lease ended on the 6th but they charged us rent up until the 22nd because we didnt turn in our keys. BUT WE DID TURN THEM IN! They also charged us $400 to repaint the walls, which we left in good condition. Had they not credited our deposit back to us, we would have had to pay $900. If we were such bad tenants, why would they credit our deposit back? Nothing about the bill they sent us made sense. By law, you cant charge people for rent after their contract ends and you have to send them the move-out statement within 30 days of the move-out date. We laywered up and sent them a demand letter that they completely ignored. Had my husband not just joined the military and had we not moved across the country we would have taken them to court but we have enough craziness going on in our lives now so we just paid it. We tried working with the account manager, Demi, but she was VERY condescending, rude and unproffessional. Luckily the account got moved to Michael and he was much nicer and got 20% taken off the price, which was only $50 by this point due to the interest incurred. But even he made a couple of comments that werent the most professional. In summary, this is a company that makes their money by taking advantage of people. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.
Very very bad if I can give a none start I will.
They do not know how to answer a phone, been calling for weeks now, absolute worst service Ive ever seen.
Worst renting experience I had in ten years!
