Ive lived here in BVA for 3 plus years in my 242 sq ft studio. I am Seattle born n raised and have lived on Capitol hill, Magnolia, and Beacon hill. Beacon View is in a great area, not a complete zoo like Capitol hill. The staff are great, the people here are great. Close to a ton of great food. little Saigon and China town is full of tasty places to eat. All is well here

Ive been a resident for them for two years, through the flux of management. They are quite settled now with a great manager, Jeff. Hes very straight forward and I like that. I know some people can be put off by an honest yes or no with out mincing too many words but Id rather my apartment manager do a great job than sooth an ego, and that he does. Jeff is very approachable and helpful. He gets stuff done quickly and has been really open to suggestions when Ive had them. The apartments are clean and they are always remodeling them, the views are absolutely stunning. You can pay your rent via an online portal now, so its very convenient, and when I have a package at the office they take the time to put a notice on my door instead of in my mail box and mailing the package back without telling me (has happened at other places). The old handyman was well liked, especially by me, but the new handyman is amazing, fast, professional, approachable, and great at what he does. I am really confident in his competency and service. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the apartments are insulated and sealed so well they get very humid. They can also get sweltering in the Summer because they face west (price you pay for spectacular view!). With a good fan set up and a dehumidifier its really not a problem though, you just have to figure that out for yourself. They also do not have washer/dryers in units (and probably could never fit them). Lastly the prices go up a little each year (reasonably, but still) and with the remodels, they are justified, but difficult for someone like me to continue to afford. That said, they are on par with the rents in Seattle, and less than some with views.I highly recommend this place to live, especially as Thrive moves into managing them for a second consecutive year. Its been a very positive stay for me.

I was a little skeptical when I first read the reviews, especially being that I was relocating from out of state. I really dont know what everybodys problem with the Brittany the was all about. I just know from my personal experience she has been excellent. Especially when you take into mind that we were relocating from out of state. I did the whole application process online and over the phone with Brittany. She answered all of my questions and has been and since moving in everything has been great. Rich S

I have no confidence in the leasing office employee, Brittani. The first time I had an issue she straight-up lied about what she had previously said to me. Throughout the process (which I ended up fixing myself) she was unprofessional and not at all courteous. The rent is cheap but if you have a problem youre on your own.Its also important to know that she considers accepting packages as a courtesy rather than part of her job. Since packages are delivered to the leasing office...good luck if something goes missing.

I wouldnt recommend this place until they hire a new management company. I lived here from Feb to August 2016, the leasing manager at that time was Britani. Cheap, decent apartment but very poorly managed. I paid $2700 to break my lease and have no regrets!1. Check and recheck your statements, keep all receipts and invoices. Theyve made frequent errors. I never paid my rent late, but was charged for a late fee almost every month.2. Keep all communication in writing whenever possible. My assigned parking spot was re-assigned to other tenant; lucky I saved the email where Britani had assigned me the spot. Also, take pictures and a meticulous note of your moving in and moving out condition of your unit. As of now, Ive still saved all my correspondences, invoices/statements, and receipts from them.3. Picking up a package was a pain. Its either they werent in the office (during office hours) or theyve misplaced it. Once theyve misplaced a very important package (documents) that was sent via an overnight carrier. What a nightmare!4. Work (maintenance) order was not done in a timely manner, or they simply wouldnt fix it.5. Britani was not helpful, let alone courteous.
