Nima and Clayton are always amazing! Friendly, efficient and respectful. Thanks for all of your help with my silly maintenance requests!!
It doesnt matter if you have nothing in your car. Your car get busted into. I had nothing in my car. I had the lamest car stereo and even I didnt like it. It was stolen.VENDING MACHINES GETS BROKEN INTO.With No Ac, the value of a apartment is lower to 800 at best, thats without carpet.NEVER LIVED THERE. BUT MY SISTER DID.YES SHE WAS PAYING WAY TOO MUCH.
A great place to call home. The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, especially the great service team, Nima, Bradley, and Clayton, who quickly attend to any problems that arise.
I have really enjoyed my time living here in Augusta so far. I was preparing to move to Seattle and I was looking into Augusta Apartments while still living in another state and Tony was really helpful and accommodating throughout the process. I’ve always felt safe here. The building is clean and the amenities are great. The study room has a beautiful view and great lighting and it’s a very nice to work in. Same for the decks and grill area.
Don’t live here. Car got broken in all the time in parking lot and they said there’s nothing they can do about it. They lied to me that there’s AC in all the one bedroom room so I moved in one, and then there’s no AC in my overpriced one bedroom room apartment.
There’s no security on site. We had many cars got broken windows in the past, and people broke into garage. Managers always gave us passive response, and emailed us that the safety in the parking lot is not their responsibility. We paid pretty high for rent in this area, the fact that we don’t have full time security guard is ridiculous.
The Augusta service team is friendly, efficient, and respectful. Well done, dynamic duo.
Management is extremely childish and will rarely compromise with their tenants. Lack of communication, a lot of spontaneity, and care little about the residents only about their bank accounts. Management continues to power trip and threatens tenants about worst possible scenario rather than most realistic scenario. My lease is up in April and I am not 100% sure if I want to renew it here, other buildings in the u-district are looking very appealing.
Visited a friend who lives here, just thought Id drop you guys a note saying how nice the complex is.
I recently moved out after over a year of living in Augusta. Overall I had a great experience. They keep the place super clean, the building itself is very new and beautifully architected and most importantly the management is very responsible and understanding. I usually dont bother posting positive reviews but I feel like I owe one to Augusta for always being there when I had issues.Special shout out to Diana the property manager for doing a tremendous job.
Ive lived at Augusta for nearly four years. I moved here for a job with Amazon, and the reasons I ended up choosing this place after looking at a number of apartments across Seattle was (1) the building is very new - was completed in 2017 - Im the first tenant to live in my unit, which meant there were no weird smells and no one had used my tub before, (2) the units are very clean and modern looking with hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances and white cabinetry and countertops and walk-in closets, (3) the gym is definitely better than any apartment gym Ive seen in Seattle - 2 stories with a half-court basketball court and good machine variety, the upstairs is dedicated to cardio equipment including your typical equipment like treadmills and ellipticals, but also a stairmaster, various types of seated bikes, and a row machine, and the downstairs is the weight room that even includes TRX, (4) there is a bus stop directly in front of the build that takes you to SLU (Amazon) in around 12-15 minutes during rush hour, (5) its nice being near the Burke Gilman trail and Fremont, Agua Verde for kayak renting, and Gasworks are within walking distance, and (6) the rooftop has a really nice view of Lake Union and the Seattle skyline.Overall, Ive found the folks in the leasing office to be very helpful, especially Diana - who is very kind and thoughtful when it comes to handling tenant concerns. The maintenance staff is also very responsive to issues - handling most requests within 24 hours. So no complaints there. The reason Im giving the building 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the security concerns. During the height of the pandemic, there was a spike in homelessness in the area, where people were tenting directly in front of and beside the building. A homeless man even made it inside the building one night and slept on the lobby couch. Definitely made me feel uncomfortable when walking my dog, but honestly this is probably a city of Seattle problem... I saw increased homelessness during this time throughout the entire city in most parts of town where apartment complexes are, so I dont know that it would have been any better elsewhere. The tents near the building are now gone - not sure if Augusta was involved in driving that change, but has definitely felt safer lately then a few months ago. The building has fob access and the cars are protected by 2 garages that require remotes to access, but there still have been incidences of car breakins (including my own car had a window smashed, though nothing was stolen, but this occurred during the pandemic when there was heightened crime). Because of the crime, I do think that Augusta should invest in elevator fob access and having a full-time security guard on the campus. A lot of other buildings have a security guard sitting in the front of the building 24/7.I wont be renewing my lease for a 5th year here because Im ready to get a house, but I overall will look back at my time at Augusta with positive memories. If they can improve their security measures, theyd get 5 stars from me.
The leasing manager I talked to were very rude 🥺
The new team is awesome, especially Joey :). They are super helpful and friendly, and more important they fix my issue with quick solutions (not like the previous management team). The only reason I gave 4 star due to the high price, and the street noise at night. But you do receive great services and dont need to worry about unexpected fees.
Ive lived in this building for over 2 years and this building is beautiful but has way too many security problems. The parking lot is just off the Burke Gilman trail, (where several homeless people camp under the University Bridge) so cars in the garage get broken into on a regular basis (my car alone has been broken into 3 times in the secured garage) Their is also no fob protection to the elevators once you enter the building, so someone following a resident can practically do what they want when once they enter. The fire alarm goes off fairly often, the roof has been closed for months because of covid (while most rooftops in the city are open, as of July 5th, 2020), there are usually a lot of homeless people right by the building on 9th ave.Management and maintenance was solid but security needs improvement.
I chose this apartment because it has high ratings. But after lived here for a while, I kind feel the dark side now. First, the leasing managers are not responsible. Once you sign the lease, they will rarely reply to your questions or emails. Second, there is no transparency about the parking spots. It used to has a waiting list and you can check where you are at. But now they don’t let people check their spots and without sharing it publicly. I have a lot of friends living in this apartment, and they joined the waiting list same time as me, but they got a parking spot. The secret is since last month, there were a lot of people like my friends didn’t wanna renew their lease because lacking of parking spot. And the leasing managers gave people parking spots to let them renew their lease. That’s why today they don’t share this information to people already in the list. That’s very sneaky!
I have to say that the experience here is pretty good. It is save enough, and employees are friendly. But I think I should tell some not good enough part here. Some summer nights are super hot, especially inside of the building. Also I want to mention that I dont know the frequency you clean the inside of the building, but I didnt see any of them. Still better than other apartments :)
Unclear community policies. Refuse to be upfront about rules for which you can be kicked out of spaces/ charged for. A warning would be more appropriate.Updated: New management team is much nicer. Were able to resolve issues much more courteously than before. Bumped up 3 stars.
Since I moved in, everything has been incredible. Staff has always been friendly and willing to help with any issues, and my apartment was in a great condition when I moved in.Edit: Even though management has changed in the building after living here for 4 years, Ive still had a great experience. Front office is very helpful along with the maintenance staff!
The building is absolutely amazing and the staff are fantastic and always do everything they can to help! Definitely a place that you can call home. Two year update/edit: After a change in management companies, the new companies policies are significantly more irritating and makes everything more complicated and difficult than it needs to be. Would not recommend it anymore, despite the building still being very nice.
We were the first few folks who moved to Augusta. I really liked the place, it was wonderful for 8-9 months. I wouldve rated 5 stars last month. Its been really bad since the last 1 month as there is NO HOT WATER. The water has been luke warm for weeks together. How basic is hot water? Even after repeated complaints, the management isnt able to solve this problem.Im going to update my review based on how long it takes for the management to fix the problem.Update 1 - updating it back to 4 starts as this seems to be fixed. Haven’t had any issues in the last 3-4 days.
Building has not taken care of the snow and ice building up on the sidewalks and courtyard. Its jarring how there is a sheet of ice which immediately ends where the sidewalks belonging to the building end. Do not move here if you have any mobility concerns as its now not possible to safely move around here.
Great! Im really satisfied with this place and community. I was very excited to come here and Ive never been let down. So many of my friends are jealous of this community.
Once Kevin left half way through our lease, we were treated poorly and problems were not addressed. Our mail was lost when it was promised to be forwarded when we moved out. I will take down this review if they reach out to us.
PROS:-Units are well designed w/ good appliances-Rooftop is pretty cool-Management is available and friendly-Good location-Gym is great-Paying rent is easy
Great staff, great place, awesome amenities!
I have paints on my brand new floors, tables and basically everywhere in the apartment and the leasing office is not responsible at all. They refuse to help the new residents understand the contract and community rules and only blame you for what you have done without telling you at the first place. Everything they tell you before you sign the lease is unclear and once you sign the lease no one would ever be nice to you. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
We moved in right when the east building was ready. The facilities are very nice, but they are very expensive for what you get. When Kevin the previous manager left they began to be very disorganized and were difficult to work with.
If you have a car dont come here. Lack of parking space is a real deal breaker. Also my car got towed away from this property so carefull guys.
Very nice development, an added extension of LEED UW housing!!!
Everyone is super welcoming and the staff are amazing! The building has everything I need.
Its clean and spacious!
Very bad management,I try all ways several times for a long time and still can not get contact with,no one reply email,no one listen to phone,I guess the only way to contact with them is to make a bad rate in Google map and they will reply u(maybe even this not gonna work)
Changed
The units are very new and very clean
