We were provided a car with a known slow leak tire. This was evident by the crumpled note tapped to the key which said “low tire”. After filling the tire up three times and the leak continuing we attempted to swap the car out. After waiting on hold for this location for 10 mins decided to drive there for assistance. The man behind the counter could not have been more rude and unhelpful. He would not even discuss the issue or engage in conversation. He just kept saying he has one pickup truck. He is telling us this while he is “helping” a customer in front of us. When I said I was happy to wait until he finished helping the current customer he just kept saying all he has is a pickup. Very disappointing.
I had ordered a car online from their car sales department. It was delivered to our ageed upon location. The pick and return of the vehicle was good. I did not purchase the car. It was a good experience.
The service here was terrible on Aug. 16th at around 11am. Avis gave us a car with a leaking tire. A car they new had a leaking tire as we later found a post it note stating that it had one. It was dated from nearly two weeks prior..Not only did the team member say there was no way for him to help, but he went on to claim that every Avis in town would have the same problem because he angrily spit out, corporate doesnt give cars to any centers but the airport.Beyond that the guy was angry, rude and completely unconcerned about our troubling tire.And lastly, despite a sign on the window stating that the city required masks for customer entry, the team member couldnt be bothered and refused to wear one. Avis is awful
I would give zero stars if it was possible. The three men that work at this location have zero customer service and are unbelievably rude. They scheduled us for a 12 pm pickup on a Saturday and they CLOSE at 12pm. How does that make sense??? We were a few minutes late getting from the airport and he proceeded to start to lock the door as I was standing right in front of him. His manager or some other rude employee made him re open to give us the car. They were nasty and degrading to myself, my mom and my sister. When we returned the car we brought my father in case there were any issue and they acted as nice as can be. We will absolutely never recommend Budget/Avis to anyone we know because of this experience. Budget/Avis should really reconsider who they have representing them.Stay clear of this location!!!

Rental return is ridiculous. Why should I be charged $185 for fuel when the tank was full. This is a scam to get customers to pay for fuel at the ridiculous price hoping they wont notice. Happens too many times. Returns need to be handled better, not by an app

We reserved a full size car today and we were down graded to a standard car. The guy helping us, David, insisted he gave us a full size car when we questioned him. Because we were in a hurry, we took the car he offered and left. On our drive out of town, we called AVIS and they confirmed the car we got is a standard. Now we have to go to another AVIS to change and get a full size car, which was our original reservation.David offered us other cars, but when we were ready to take one, he wanted to charge us extra for the car we picked.If he didnt have a full size car on his lot, we should have been given the next size up at no extra charge. But he down graded us.On top of that, this car that we do have is dirty, has stains on passenger and driver side seats. Has dents all over it and he did not want us to mark anything on the checkout sheet. I insisted on going back and marking the damages on their sheet. The car was also not cleaned because it has several dirty spots all over on the interior and exterior.I do NOT recommend this AVIS location.
Car rentals are good as long as you dont face any issues. - MePlace is good and got my reservation on time.I got Kia optima instead of Chevrolet Malibu (not a complaint)Car was in good condition.However, they charged me for gas despite being returned with full tank.Avis customer care helped me out in refund - but it was unnecessary extra work.General car rental advice -I would recommend people to look into billing and everything until all is settled.Just because you had amazing trip, dont ignore such little things.

I had no issues and really enjoyed my experience. got a great rate within hours of needing the rental. the location is very convenient and had plenty of space for me to leave my own car for the weekend.
Ive rented from here numerous times and have always had a good experience. When compared with some other rental companies, this Avis is well above the average, especially at the airport. My only complaint is that a car I recently rented had a Maintenance Required; Go to Dealership message on the dash. I dont feel a car should be rented out if it needs service.
NEVER AGAIN. After picking up our rental, we noticed all 4 tires were completely bald. Not only did we have to being the car to them, they also expected us to fill the tank. What a huge inconvenience. Wasted a good portion of our vacation just to return the car that shouldnt have been on the road in the first place. The gentleman behind the counter was less than friendly. We literally drove from the airport to the house and back to the rental company...NEVER will we rent from Avis. And thanks to social media, Ill be getting the word out.
Employees dont seem like they care. Poor customer service. GPS I rented with the car quit working and they had no others. Had to wait at least a week for them to get new ones in--which were obviously not new. Picked up a screw in the tire and they made me go get it patched in an unfamiliar city. Shot most of my day. Any place that cared about their customers would have given me a different car and fixed it themselves, even if they had to have me pay for it.
Very convenient and fast and friendly service. Ive been coming here for years for my rental needs and Avis never disappoints.

The owner is rude and tries to charge extra without letting you know. Keep your receipts. Also when I returned the car with a full full tank she marked it was 7/8 full. This was calculated mistakes. Watch out
My experience with employee Angela put a VERY sour taste in my mouth.Upon arrival we gave our information and was immediately confronted with a disgruntled staff member who acted as if she wanted to be anywhere else but there. Her name was Angela “ operations manager”. She was not accommodating to our inquiries, did not look up at us once and had quick snarky responses. I was SO dissatisfied with her customer service that I tried to find another dealer in the area to rent from as I was not pleased at all. After searching and having no luck I finally got the keys to my rental and my sister mentioned to me that she will be hesitant to rent a car from Avis and this location again and that’s when Angela blurted out “ that’s fine ….don’t, we don’t need your business.”Not to mention as we were waiting to retrieve the keys an elderly couple was renting a car and she was very short tempered with them. They were asking for a map/directions and she was not answering any questions, only saying “you can rent a GPS”. I felt awful, and helped them out as much as we could afterwards in the parking lot.If I ran a business I would not want my company to be represented by a bitter woman who is pushing clients away. She is potentially losing the company business and putting a very bad taste in customers mouths.
