It was an easy and timely process to rent a car. The Avis location is also close to a place that we visit frequently with family.

The first location we went to yesterday near the airport was a nightmare. Came into this location and total difference. The lady helping us today was juggling calls, taking care of cars, and got me situated with my rental in like five minutes. She was awesome. Go here, not to the one by the airport.

The price was right, the location was convenient, and the vehicle was clean, odor free, & in good shape. However, I have just a couple suggestions. First, the rep who assisted me was fairly brusk in conversation. I would not say rude, more like she just had a bad day & it showed. Oh well, could be worse. Second, I was given the option to return my rental to the airport instead of this location (which is nice) -- At pickup, I asked if I could change the credit card that I used pay for my rental. I was told that to do that, I need to notify them at drop off of which card I want to use. The problem there is that at the Sky Harbor Airport, its like lining up cattle. There are probably 10+ cars pulling in each minute and just employees walking around barking out instructions to just leave your keys in the car and leave. I had to flag someone down just to get a receipt. Needless to say, its much, MUCH harder to make changes at the airport than a local place like this, which is why I wanted to change my credit card here, not at PHX. Ive presented cards for payment in person at other Avis locations in the past, so cant think of why it wouldnt be possible. Overall, these are minor complaints & suggestions ... 4 stars.

Great location, so convenient to my house. The staff are friendly and the cars are in good shape. Theres a Circle K on the corner, so Ive got the fill up and return routine down to a science.One time I left my tablet in the car, and they called me a couple of days later to let me know they had it and to come pick it up. I expected it to be gone for sure, and it wasnt. How often can you tell a story like that?Avis prices are better than Hertz, their locations are convenient and their fleet is up to date. Their Wizard program makes it so all I have to do is sign the contract. Everything is already on file. That was Easy!

Great experience with Avis out of all the rental cars that I have used. Nice, Clean, Conditioned car. You can go with Mobile app booking as well, it is easy to use and as transparent as booking physically in office.

Much less expensive than renting at the airport I rent cars at Scottsdale Commons and they always have great upgrades for me. The only drawback is that they close at 5 so you have to get the rental back before then otherwise its a great rental experience

Sherry and Francis are very nice and go the extra mile to make your rental a good experience. Avis corporate does not always have the latest update on available cars. They can book you there at their location.

The customer service is awesome. I will always rent here.

AWESOME people! Limited car selection

Disappointed with their Lyft rentals. They do not accept prepaid cards, had no problem taking the money. No where does it say that they dont accept prepaid cards, wasted money and time

We received a very nice, new, and clean car from here. But evidently, theres only one person who works here. So when we came back to return the car, we had to wait around for 30 minutes just to drop it off because she was out getting a car washed. Kind of inconvenient.
