Sam Duffy, the Community Manager, was absolutely amazing! Very professional, friendly and went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and concerns. Every staff member we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. This property is beautiful, very well maintained, feels safe and in a great location. We ended up leasing an apartment here and feel great about our decision. If you are searching for a place to live, I would highly recommend stopping in and looking at this property.

I moved in to Camden Montierra a few weeks ago. I was moving from a Camden out of state and while researching apartments in Scottsdale, I found that Montierra was the most cost effective. It is centrally located and is convenient to shopping and restaurants. As a Camden employee, I value our product and found that this was a great fit for my transition into the Arizona market. As I do not work at this property, I did choose to live here and am loving it. The staff (Sam Duffy-Community manager and Abbey Lae-Assistant manager) were amazing at making my leasing process seamless!

I want to thank Paul, Harold & Jamal. They are part of the maintenance crew at Camden Montierra Apts. On September 23rd one side of my kitchen outlets went out. Apparently a circuit breaker blew and had to be totally replaced. The three gentlemen came in and Paul took the lead and discovered that it wasnt the actual breaker but the GFCI and it needed to be replaced. Less than 30 minutes they were back and replaced the GFCI and all is well, everything works! The next afternoon my air conditioner also blew. COMPLETELY!! They had to order a brand new air conditioner . It took a week for the new unit to be delivered. We were given a portable A/C unit that Paul set up for us and of course we used all of our fans. Having the portable A/C unit was a god send. The new A/C unit works great!!I also want to thank Paul for helping us put up the sunshades in our apartment patio.. It has really helped with the direct sun we get. Thank you again Paul, Harold & Jamal for the great work you do!

It took us months to find the perfect apartment - I’m super picky and always seemed to find something wrong with each place. We ended up choosing Camden Montierra; it’s been 5 months and we could not be happier!!! The maintenance staff is so quick, the office staff is extremely friendly and accommodating (shoutout Sam and Alex) and the location is perfect. Nestled away enough where it’s not too loud, but close enough to tons of restaurants, Scottsdale quarter, Old Town, Fountain Hills, 5 min from the 101.. you name it! Among other apartments in Scottsdale (and even Tempe), I fully believe this complex is a competitive price for what you’re getting. It’s very clean, safe, & has that home-y feeling. We genuinely love living here. My only complaint would be the lack of guest parking, fills up so quickly in the evenings and on weekends, and not much alternative parking in the surrounding area. Overall, we love living at Camden Montierra!

I have lived at Camden Montierra for six years. I chose this Camden property over two other Camden properties for the professionalism enthusiasm and courtesy that I received from the Camden staff. The landscape of this property is kept immaculate by Jorge and Atolfo -Who are both extremely courteous and friendly-The maintenance team is amazing! Extremely efficient and friendly-Marty Alex and Paul-Who have all reached out over the past few years to go above and beyond for me-Marty stops and says hi to me EVERY time he sees me and asks me if he can help me in any way (i’ve been on crutches for a few years so just for someone to ask means a lot)- recently Marty and Paul painted my accent wall a beautiful deep red-it looks like it was done by professional painters-Alex has driven on his day off one hour to come and help me pick up a piece of furniture that I purchased and help deliver it and set it up at my house-anytime I have a maintenance request day or night one of the three guys is here promptly -with a smile courtesy to quickly and efficiently fix whatever is needed to be fixed-i’ve never experienced this level of customer service at any property in the past years!-The front office staff Samuel Sam and Alex are equally as wonderful-courteous knowledgeable and always super super friendly! I would highly recommend this property above and beyond any property I have lived in Arizona!!!

1) Laziest maintenance staff ever. Maintenance is too scared to ask management for more budget to properly fix the units issues. Instead they just slap on some paint to get rid of mold, as an example, then they waste no time to mark services as complete. Several of my neighbors have expressed similar frustrations on the lack of quality of maintenance work.2) Management does not do much managing. The expression sh*t rolls down hill applies here. They dont want to be the bad guy and instead want all conflicts to resolve amongst the tenants no matter the level of conflict. They do not hesitate outing the complainers either, which only promotes retaliation. Worst of all, management attempts to openly inject their personal views on matters and immorally side with certain tenants rather than fairly and equally enforcing contractual lease agreements. Maybe management has a personal relationship with such tenants. Whatever the reason, it is conflict of interest. It is discrimination. My advice is to keep every interaction with management in writing via email as much as possible.3) There is nothing luxury about this place. Camden is publicly traded, so they have that much more in tiers of shareholders to keep happy, meaning save on operational costs as much as possible. So whatever it takes to barely meet the minimum qualification to call oneself a luxury apartment, is the definition of Camden. The walls are paper thin, the floors are uneven with cracks underneath the carpets. The carpets are loosely nailed in several areas. The plumbing is unkept with hidden leaks attracting large numbers of water roaches. The registers are moldy and rusty, adding to the already terrible air quality. Its all smoke and mirrors.

We have been living at Camden Montierra for the past 6 months (as we needed to find a short term rental). Its a great location and well kept property, and we always feel safe. The leasing and maintenance staff goes above and beyond to make sure their residents are served well and are cared for. They truly go above and beyond. If you ever have a maintenance issue, they have always responded right away to address it. We even had a dishwasher issue, and it was completely replaced with no questions asked. The amenities are kept clean- the pool and gym are great condition and never super crowded. Its a pretty quiet complex with a variety of people from elders, working singles, and families. I just wish they had more guest parking, as that can sometimes be an issue - but thats probably the case with most apartment complexes. Overall, great property and highly recommend if you are looking for a short or long-term rental.

The staffing is absolutely wonderful and the complex is extremely well maintained, other tenants are quiet and respectful of others and the facilities are great. I am very happy here. The maintenance team are phenomenal, and service requests are attended to promptly.

I am living in this community for the past 8 months. I am really happy with the service the apartment provides. They fix any issues in the apartment on the same day. This community is quiet and safe. I would like to thank all the staffs in Leasing center for their exceptional talent in helping the residents and they are extremely friendly. Except rent, which I feel is little bit higher considering the location and the service they offer, everything is good.

Current resident called to complain about loud noises during renovation, the manager Sam Hughes claimed to not be able to help or offer an explanation then put me through to an entirely helpful manager that explained everything and did not go to offering any condolence or personal touch and I could have no legal issue in complaining which put me in an agreeable understanding that I had no recourse even though i work nightshifts. They do overcharge for internet is a complaint, 22.00$ on the cox website versus what they charge on the bill. They also are very impersonal when you call about personal issues. I would not recommend this as a place of living unless you are prepared to deal with robot-esque support.The grounds are well kept minus the fact that half the complex smells like animal excrement, specifically pee. The apartments look nice at first but with closer examination you can tell that most features are outdated, the counters underneath are plywood. The tile is badly placed and will break easily. the carpet is cheap and looped glue made and you can tell. We found Arizona cockroaches to our dismay in both bathrooms despite being clean in our entire apartment, they seem to have come from the drain. Upon research its semi common but did not expect this from a higher class apartment complex.The maintenance is very fast, which is a good point to add. The front support does not care who you are, unless you want to give them money. After you rent they haphazardly may help you with issues. They, in my opinion do not care at all. They are only out for the money you have and unless you have legal recourse they dont care.The apartment complex will issue you complaints if others call even if it was not you. We have confirmed with residents around us after complaints and they said they were blissfully unaware. Camden likes to persecute without confirmation. They gave us two parking spots, or so they said. Within two months one of our cars were towed to a random location without notification. We had to spend $800 to get our vehicle back and camden had zero care about it..Overall, if you like outdated buildings having occasional Arizona roaches with impersonal staff minus maintenance being amazing and no notification on towing your own vehicle. This place is for you.

Looked at their 1 bedroom 1 bathroom floor plan. Their website and quote mentions that it comes with 2 assigned parking spaces. However, when we spoke to their person in-charge, she said it comes only with one parking space. If we needed a second space, it would cost an additional $40. There was no further explanation to the contradicting information. This was a deal breaker for us. Makes me question everything they say comes with the apartment. Please check the details before you sign up.

My experience with the property management team here at Camden has been nothing less than stellar. Anytime I interact with the staff here, im ALWAYS greeted with a wave or a smile. Whether its the ladies that run the office or the maintenance team, any sort of issue that Ive brought to their attention has been investigated immediately, and resolved promptly. They always leave a card or a nice note and check in later to make sure that the resolution was a success, and that Im living comfortably here.In addition to the friendliness, the professionalism is second to none. Ive lived in several apartment complexes over the years and this team at Camden really knows how to handle their business. Using maintenance requests as an example, never has an issue that Ive brought to their attention been balked at in the slightest.I rarely write reviews, but when the service is this good, I feel like Im doing a disservice to this team by keeping my opinions to myself. These folks are awesome. When I interact with them, I dont feel like theyre putting on a smile or processing requests promptly because its their job and that they have to. They do it because they truly care.If youre apartment hunting, you must look into Camden. If you end up living here, you wont regret it.-Scott

Just moved in for 1 month. But its a great experience. Staffs in the leasing office and maintenance team are all excellent. I submitted a service request in the noon and maintenance staff came to help me in few hours. Also, Sam helped me a lot when I moved in. Thank you all! I really enjoy living here :)

The office staffer at Camden Montierra was so cordial and helpful during our apartment search, we felt good about signing a lease. Five months later, we are happy to say we made the right decision. We love our apartment as well as the Scottsdale area having recently moved from the Midwest. The office staff are always helpful and friendly as well as the maintenance staff who are always prompt taking care of any repair needs we may have. We are happy to be here.

If I could give zero stars I would. These people are actually filing evictions and motions to get people removed from their homes despite a Governors Stay Order During a Pandemic!Even if you have all of your paperwork in order they accuse you of lying and mislead you constantly throughout the process. I should have known when I moved here. I had to move to this complex because they do not advise you that the 300 administrative fee is non-refundable. I had no choice but to pay the exorbitant fees to move in as to not lose the 300.

First of all everyone I have worked with at Montierra has been wonderful and very helpful and welcoming. I want to give a special mention to the maintenance staff. Sunday evening my ac stopped working and within an hour and a half Alex was at my apt and had it up and running. The next day I noticed it leaking and I placed a request around 1pm and by time I got home from work it was fixed. Really appreciate the quick responses!

We just moved in about a month ago and so far the experience has been way better than any other complex we’ve lived in. The staff is amazing, they always are friendly and helpful. I had a special request for my living room and Marty, maintenance supervisor, took care of it right away. He even made a special trip to Home Depot for us. We also had lots of boxes for recycling after our move and they took everything right from our doorstep. This definitely would not have happened at our previous complex. Not only is the staff amazing, I also love my neighbors!

One of the main reasons I have lived at Camden Montierra for the past 3 years is the maintenance staff. Led by Marty, they are always willing to help me out and always with a smile. Last week I submitted 4 small, pretty insignificant maintenance requests. Paul came to my apartment and took care of everything in a very efficient and professional manner. After Paul left I forgot to ask him a question so I went to the front office to look for him. I bumped into another maintenance member named Alex. With a huge smile he was eager to answer the question I had and he even walked back to my apartment so I could show him some things. The entire staff is always helpful and receptive to my needs and make me feel like I am the most important resident. I really appreciate all they do and how they do it. By the way: I have never had any major problems with my apartment. All of my maintenance requests and pretty insignificant, smaller items and all get resolved in a timely manner. These guys are good and like I said before, they are one of the main reasons I have been living at Camden for so long. Oh yeah, one more thing: I am not around a lot and they are always willing to work around my schedule. For example, this morning Marty met me before I went to work at 7am so we could talk in person and when he finished he dropped off the new remote in my apartment like he said he would. Marty even dropped off some paperwork that he knew I couldnt get to the office to pickup myself before it closed. Like I said: these guys are good.

Highly recommend looking at Camden Montierra when looking in North Scottsdale for an awesome place to live!

Since day one Camden Montierra has gone out of there way to make me and my fiancé feel at home, especially Amanda. With working in the service industry myself and having to relocate so far across the country, it is extremely comforting to know I have this type of support from the entire team. Additionally, the maintenance team is beyond courteous and any requests submitted are completed very timely. Lastly, they continue to work on community improvements and upgrades to make this beautiful complex even better. Thank you for taking such great care of us.

I will start off the maintenance team is phenomenal. They are very friendly and they get the job done quickly and efficiently. That is why I added a star.The second star is for the actual tenants at the complex. Everyone is friendly and minds their own business. There is no loud obnoxious neighbors, mainly young professionals and families.Now as for the rest it was awful. The place is infested with cockroaches. I understand there will be some in Scottsdale but having to constantly be on alert and close all drains is not a way to live. The place was also poorly done. There are cracks everywhere in the walls that just invites a cockroach infestation.The front office staff is by far the most rude and disrespectful people I have ever met. They have had a lot of turn over and I can see why. I read a review about this before I moved in and thought it was just an angry tenant over exaggerating. I thought oh well, I wont deal with them very often, but let me tell you when you have to they are no help and make things worse.There is only one pool, which is always slammed and you can never get a chair to use.Also, you cant get packages from USPS you have to go to the local post office which is about 8-10 minutes from the complex and it makes it extremely frustrating trying to get there before they close at 5pm.The trash valet is great if you only use one trash bag, are home between the times of 6-8pm to put it outside your door and dont ever need a dumpster.All in all this place was just one giant headache to live at. The rent is way more than it should be especially because they REQUIRE you to buy Internet and trash valet from them monthly.

People I know there had serious issues with bed bugs after they moved in. Pool always closed during holidays when you want your friends over to enjoy. The only way you can enjoy the community center is with a nonrefundable deposit of $75. Front gate always open so no security. No place to park your moving van to move in. Management run by a bimbo who tried to squeeze all the money she can out of you when you leave. I lived there for five years and they attempted to charge me to repaint the unit, just to give you an example. Steer clear of this one!!!

I moved to Camden Montierra a little over a month ago I came here because of my previous positive experience with Camden and this location and I could not be happier! Not only are the apartments and complex amazing and updated, but the staff here is hands down the best! Amanda and Veronica, in the office, are not only professional and friendly, but they are really on top of things as they come up. Veronica, and all of the staff in the office go above and beyond for their residents. Amanda is obviously an excellent (top notch and lay back) manager-big loss if either gets promoted or transferred and we lose either of them!! I cant forget to mention the maintenance team also, they are exceptional.The entire maintenance team is amazing! They are super professional and courteous; most importantly they work incredibly fast to get all problems taken care of. I highly recommend this complex but you need to hurry as they stay sold out....thats a great thing and the location in Scottsdale couldnt be better! I can walk to Total Wine...Yea!!!!!

I lived in these apartments for over 5 years. All was well until the 4th year when I moved into apt 2066. I spent the 15 month lease fighting sewer roaches. Not only in my unit but all units in this building had these disgusting bugs. They came out in the bathroom sinks and tubs every evening and woke up to 5 or more in the morning. Nothing I nor Camden did could rid of them. The neighbor below in 1066 (who committing suicide) told me she woke one morning and there was one on her chest. I dont know if other buildings have this problem, but stay away from this one.

I dont usually do reviews but feel compelled to this time.First the maintenance team is very prompt in their response to requests. I will give them credit. And thats the reason for the 1 star. However, thats about it. Parking is a huge problem. I cant count how many times i have met cars on my alotted spot but being a good neighbor, I let it slide. Your car will be towed if you or a guest parks anywhere else other than your alotted spot. Some tenants use their garages as storage and occupy any free parking spots. This is not enforced and makes parking an issue. If You like having guests, look else where. Your neighbors have no qualms calling the tow company on you or your guest. I saw this with my own eyes. Management too is very inconsistent. You get a different story depending on who you speak to. This will eventually catch up with you as i found out the hard way. They will deny anything and develop amnesia. They leave out important information because they can charge you. They dont answer calls and will ignore and not acknowledge you if you go to the office because they are busy signing their next victim. We Signed a 12 months lease and was force to pay $2500 when our lease was up because we did not give them a 3 month notice. Never heard of a 3 months notice in my entire leasing life. Several calls to the office and no one is ever available. Tried to speak to management who were not that helpful and insist we had to pay. When you sign a contract, the end date of your lease should be your notice. Its at the discretion of the tenant if they want stay or leave. This is Just a money hug apartment facility. They charge for everything. I am also being forcefully charged $35 per month for concierge trash service and still have to carry my own trash to the dumpster. Why the service?This is one of my worse renting experience in my 18 plus years of renting. Wont be coming back here even if I am being paid to. Go to return my keys and heard another tenant complain he was not aware of the 3 months notice. Something is amiss.This incompetence is costing people money for their benefit. If you like losing money, go there. Like the Doctor said below, they will lie to you. I found out the hard way.

You cannot trust these people. They told me one thing (the actual manager) and did the complete opposite. They were extremely rude and curt when I sought to get things straight. The neighbors are kind and the maintenance staff is excellent. The people who blatantly lied to me about my lease took no responsibility and then proceeded to be harmful to me. Not ok. Im not one to cry racism so I will chalk it up to incompetence and disconnection with the real world.
