AC unit went down last night. We have a home warranty and made a service request. The assigned vendor called and said the earliest he could get here was next week. Hey, its only the desert in July right? Called LJ Refrigeration and they dispatched Jason that same afternoon -- very knowledgable, professional, friendly. Repaired my unit at what I considered a very fair price. Cant thank them enough. Excellent service. They are outstanding!

Jason executed the repair of my HVAC system failure with superb logic. Being a well-trained and astute technician, he began by inspecting the numerous wire connections accessible in the air handler compartment, and immediately discovered a problem with a pin & socket connector. Although this was obviously the failure point, Jason took the time to jump onto the roof (Jason’s humor) to complete a thorough inspection of the condenser unit of the split-system. The first-class services I received were much appreciated, and a reasonable service charge was the extent of my expenditure.

I cant say enough about this company! They are super responsive, knowledgeable and DONT RIP YOU OFF! I have referred them to clients and friends many times and I always hear back that they have done an amazing job. I needed them for an emergency job myself today and they went above and beyond. I was very happy they accommodated me during this busy season.The technician was on time and responsive to my needs. He asked me a few questions and immediately began to assess the issue with the air conditioner condenser. He informed me about the different freon types and the cost associated with repair and replacement. We called LJ Refrigeration because our air conditioner went out in the middle of an heat wave. The receptionist was so nice and assured me someone would be out that same day in the afternoon. The owner and technician came and saved the day! They had the part I needed for my ac in their truck. They explained to me what happened and serviced both my units. They were so fast and had my ac unit running immediately. My family and I are so thankful for helping us out in a time of need.

Somehow it has taken me many years to post a review for LJ. Sorry guys. I have been using them for 37 years and would never go anywhere else. My original units lasted for 36 years and recently went out. LJ promptly replaced them and I couldnt be more pleased, in fact Jeff was just here today for the annual check. The reason the old units lasted so very long was because LJ came out annually for check ups and tuneups, etc. This is clearly one of the best companies in the entire Phoenix area and I have and will continue to recommend them to others for HVAC service. They are always prompt, professional. courteous, and most importantly they know what theyre doing. Thanks for all the great service all these years years guys!

I highly recommend LJ Refrigeration! Unfortunately this week with excessive heat warnings, my home air conditioner quit working. After several days without AC and lackluster response/service from two other companies, I found LJ Refrigeration through a friend’s recommendation.While waiting to get quotes back from two other businesses, I called and spoke with Jennifer. She was super friendly, helpful and responsive. Within one hour, She had Paul promptly visit my home (no charge) and within two hours, they sent me two recommendations and told me they could complete the service that day. I decided to replace the entire unit and within hours, my new AC unit was up and running.Both Jennifer and Paul were extremely helpful and friendly. Despite the bad news of my AC unit going out, these guys took outstanding care of my needs. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing AC service!

Air conditioning always breaks on the hottest day if the year. Home warranty company uses another company that takes a week to make a service call. Called L J . Out the next day and finds its a minor job and back with cool air in minutes. I have used them for over 6 years and thay are awesome.

Ive owned an older home in north central Phoenix for 25 years. When we bought our house Feb of 2016, we couldnt turn on the air conditioning unit because it was too cold outside. The unit worked ok during that summer but definitely struggled to keep up. This summer was even harder. We have the equalizer plan but our unit was constantly running and couldnt even maintain an 80° ambient temp. We called LJ Refrigeration on Tuesday afternoon. I hoped that we could get squeezed in for a diagnostic check up the following week. I was completely surprised to get a 7:00 am appointment the following day!! They were efficient and very informative. They gave us tips on maintaining our unit through monsoon season as well as a regular mantinence schedule. Their price was more than reasonable and within minutes of the diagnostic my house was noticeably better. The unit runs less and keeps the house right where we set it! I will absolutely be recommending LJ Refrigeration to anyone who asks!

We experienced a late night malfunction of the AC unit of our condominium and in Phoenix, it is summer hot!! The temps upstairs by the bedrooms got to 91F-unbearable to sleep in. So I went on the L and J website, submitted a service request-called the next morning, sharp at 8:00 am open, Jennifer was great-had already looked at my service request, and she was understanding to try to get someone out to fix in short order-Paul showed up, less than 5 hours after, called me by 2:00 pm to say it was a routine and typical capacitor failure-but the unit was fixed-in less than 24 hours!!! This is a really trusted and local AC company-one that we should support-customer service, technical competency and a trusted company is rare find these days-thank you to L and J and to Terry H for refering them to us.
