My go-to nail salon! i always try my best to come here because the service is absolutely amazing, they treat you very well, they accommodate to your needs and wants, and all around have amazing quality, precision, hospitality, attitude, and passion. i love going here so much!! never once have they let me down or gone below my very high standards, unlike other salons. every time, completely perfect, just the way i want it.

I use to love going to this place to get my nails done every month, I got the best manicure and pedicure from Allen who is the owner of the place and he always took good care of me and went the extra mile. My nails came out beautiful every time and he has the best prices in town

Good service just be prepared to wait. Waited 20 mins for a seat and another 20 minutes for them to get started. The pedicure took about 20 mins.

They were so rude & had me waiting for almost an hour when literally nobody was there. my nails were horrible & the price was ridiculous. especially because of how poor quality they were. looked nothing like the picture i showed them. this girl i know had a worse experience there. they yelled at her when she asked for a refund because the nails looked absolutely horrible. then they ripped her nails off because apparently that was the only way she could get her refund, even when she told the lady it hurt. then another lady threw bowls of water on her as she walked out. horrible place & do not recommend at all. uptown nails in mount dora is way better.

Wanted Me To Pay Before I Got My Nails Painted, Told Me They Do This For Everyone But Did Not For The Other 3 Ladys That Paid Afterwards! Very Bossy Remarks Such As Sit Down Wash Your Hands Now and Go Look At Polish On The Other Side They Did Half Of A Job Because Of My Age And A Male Which They Confirmed Before I Left Saying They Dont Trust Me Because Of How Im Looking Around. I have been going here for years and it is one of the nicest places I have been to. They do great work and always remember me. My nail tech always remembers what I like and does a great job. I get so many compliments on my nails and refer everyone here.

I have been going here for two years. My tech is Ty. He does a perfect job every time. He is clean and professional. I was just there on Sunday and my fill and pedicure is just as I wanted. I have never witnessed any employee being rude.

I was in town visiting my mom in Leesburg, when I saw the new Tavares Crossing Shopping Center.Stopped in to Tavares Nails and Spa for a quick pedicure. Beautiful, clean, spacious facility with a very welcoming staff. Loan gave me a wonderful pedi and was so sweet and friendly. Hurry in, because if word gets out how great it is, youll have to wait weeks to make an appointment!

Unprofessional, throwing water on a girl that wasn’t happy and didn’t get what she wanted for her birthday nails. Clipping her nails off aggressively for wanting a refund, charging 50 dollars for just painting solid pink. For her going viral on social media this place is going to lose a lot of services. Definitely lost mine!

Very clean. Had a pedicure. Wash basins were lined with protective plastic bag. Utensils were disinfected. Masks were required. Very pleased.

Showed them a reference photo from pinterest and they recreated it exactly! My nails are so cute. Masks and required. 10/10 service. Will come back here ☺️

How are you going to entirely mess up someones nails after telling them you could do the design AND having a reference picture? And then to THROW WATER ON HER after you butchered her nails and embarrassed her the way you did? How is this salon even in business? The work is awful and the customer service is absolutely GARBAGE. I hope you close down.

I just called to get pricing and the women hung up on me. I got charged $48 for a fill on my fingernails. I asked for a pedicure and he did a color change instead of listening to me. That was an additional $10 by the way. So total to get a fill and color change was $58. When the person with me got a full pedicure and fill on her manicure for a total of $60. How this makes sense, it doesn’t. Don’t recommend coming here for any reason!!

Wasn’t happy with the nail tech at all He cut the sides of my nails, left rough edges, and used the grossest smelling lotion, I think it was either super cheap or old. I asked for one coat of polish for a more natural look and he put the one coat on so thick it was lumpy and I immediately took it off when I came home (I also had to try to file them as the edge cutting left them pointy and rough). Each time I spoke up it was like I was bothering him. My biggest gripe is that a manager of some sort did not address this with me. It was like they were all afraid to ask how to remedy the situation, even when I asked to change nail techs. He also openly complained about me to the other techs (he didn’t know I could understand what he said). He’s lucky I’m in the public service industry myself so I of course tipped him for his time - at least that is worth something. To make matters worse, he never acknowledged it and ignored me when I left. What an embarrassment for this establishment. Management should be ashamed of themselves. If you have an unhappy customer, you should ALWAYS address it right away. Shame, shame.

I went to Tavares nails for a pedicure and will never go back. The lady doing my pedicure was so rude and unprofessional. She did not do a good job and didn’t even paint my toe nails right. Some areas were not even covered by the paint. I will never go back here please save your time and money.

Me and my twin decided to get our nails done here like 3 hours ago. the nail techs were so nice to us and they really made us feel comfortable. ive been seeing a lot of false comments of people trying to hate on the business due to a lady crying over a vietnamese tradition over nails ...but besides that, our nails look great and the place was so clean! i would definitely come back. stop asian hate and blasphemy that didnt happen to you.

ATTENTION. THEY ARE DELETING NEGATIVE REVIEWS. When i originally posted this yesterday there were 266 reviews and their star rating was 2.1. Today theres only 210 reviews and magically theyre back at 3 stars. Wow.Oh. My. God. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I called ahead of time to specifically ask if they had anyone that could do ombre stiletto nails. They said absolutely come on over. When i walked in, they sat me down at a table that had so much dust all over it and nothing was in a sealable container. The tools also did not come out of a sanitary bag. I gave them the benfit of the doubt and showed him what i wanted, a picture of my own hand, a set i had previously. He seemed excited and proceeded. When he was shaping them, i asked if he could make them any sharper. He got very upset and said that if i wasnt happy with them he could clip them off and i could go somewhere else. I said sir, Im not trying to cause an issue, im still willing to pay, I just want them a bit sharper. He told me again i could go somewhere else, and that I was just being picky and unreasonable. I can assure you I was not. Im a licensed nail tech and the way this man treated me was WRONG. A complete 180 from the guy I was speaking to 5 minutes ago. At this point, I didnt understand why he was being so hostile and didnt want him anywhere near me with a sharp object, so I told him to just finish. He didnt bother to encase the powder color he put on, and just put on top coat. I walked over to publix, bought a nail file and some polish, and now theyre ok for the time being, but oh my god Ive never been made to feel so horrible at a salon before. According to the other reviews people have gotten fungus there, and they regularly get in confrontations with their customers. Not a place to relax for sure. But if you want to get a bowl of water LITERALLY thrown at you after asking for a refund or a fungal infection this is just the place!

The absolute worst nail salon in lake county. I witnessed one of the staff members treat a customer who had already paid for her services, COMPLETELY HORRIBLE. She threw water on the customer. They aggressively clipped her nails off and making awful comments to her while doing so! Screaming at her to shut up in front of all of us who were in the salon....You’d think for being such a small town. They would never act like they did. But oh were we wrong. I will never spend another dollar or recommend this place to anyone ever!

I used to go here all the time, last time I went was to get nails for my wedding done, the lady was too busy talking about her failing marriage (as she knows I was getting married in a couple days) and the nails turned out horribly, looked like I let my 8 year old son go after them . The quality of service kept getting worse and worse, and to be honest after hearing how they treated an individual recently by aggressively cutting her nails off because she requested for them to be fixed or refunded, and then proceeded to throw water on her ... I will never enter this establishment again and will make sure to inform others before making the decision to go there as well.

I have been coming here for over 2 years. I love Tracy and the rest of the staff. It is the cleanest nail salon in Lake county. They also have the best massage chairs. Tracy does the best pedicures and gel nails.

Im really pleased with this place. Today I got my second pedicure, the first one was in March and I got amazing service. My polish literally looked like I had just gotten it done and it was 2 full months later. I get in and out quickly with exceptional service. I will definitely keep going here. Went for pedicure on my lunch hour and this was the most relaxing pedicure ever. It was quite and soothing. The chair massages were relaxing. Will definitely go back.

Had a tech that did my pedicure before going into labor the next couple day. Pedicure didn’t last not even 2 days. Then the owner expected me to sit here and go back to the salon while I was in the hospital. Like really I just had emergency surgery! Then I called and explained they agreed to redo them, when it was time to pay they wanted to charge me for the pedicure! I will never return to this salon again. They are always taking there language and always rude! Won’t even recommend it to a friend or family member

Had my nails done for the first time in 2 years, they were super thick and sloppily done. About a week later I developed a nail fungus. Absolutely disgusting, will never return and will never recommend to anyone.

First full set in 20+ years. 2 weeks later, a fill. Then pink and green nail fungus on 4 nails. I asked to have them removed. Tracy refused to ‘make it right’ and told me it would be another $40! Keep driving!

The lady I usually go to for my eyebrows was out and I was leaving the country so I needed an emergency. The lady who did my eyebrows was absolutely fantastic. They look awesome!

I have never been to such a rude place. They runt my daughters nails and would not fix them it was there product that was bad. They would not reason with her or myself the lady doing mine messed mine up after I ask them to fix my daughters nails. I will never go there again. U need to read the reviews they are bad ones I wish I would have checked them b4 i went. They have more bad reviews than good ones.M

This place is a hit or miss. Some days you go in and don’t have to wait and other days, you end up sitting there for over 25+ minutes with no one saying anything to you. There are two people I like doing my nails, but everyone else seems rude and not polite. Which is a shame.

Great quality work but customer service could use some attention

I should have left when she wouldnt let my me pick a a color for my momma. She nipped my finger and When I tried to tell her 3 people jumped me I just wanted her not to hurt me. Then their powder product was bad cause they told me it was bad. Then I told them not to continue and they charged me money for their bad product. Will not go ther anymore and I would advise no one else to go there.

Horrible service!!! I have been here a couple times and every time the staff basically ignores me and leaves all their clients unattended for very long periods of time. Even though I make appointments, I still have to sit and wait at least 30 minutes. Today I waited 20 minutes to get a pedicure chair and then 30 mins just waiting in cold water. At least 4 other ladies were very upset for the same reasons. Very frustrating experience!!

Never going back. Took my 10 year old for a treat, have been there before, no issues. The female owner started yelling at me when I asked her to kill a stinging insect, yelling she was vegetarian (???), she was so rude, frightening my daughter and purposefully cut my nail too short and it bleed. I asked for someone else and then the insect stung my daughter 2 minutes later. She had never been stung before so straight to Walgreens to be near an EpiPen if needed. Absolute nightmare Will never go there again.
