Sals fixed a terrible haircut that I received from a Phoenixville Salon. I could not look at myself without bursting into tears, and I did not think my hair could be fixed because the salon had cut it so short (and had left me with bald patches). But the kind folks at Sals worked some absolute magic, and managed to salvage my hair and my self respect. I will forever be impressed and grateful for the level of professionalism and talent demonstrated by the barbers at Sals. Thanks goys, you rock!

So, after several visits here Ive decided its time to review. Unfortunately, I dont remember the other barbers that had done my hair previously, but today was an experience Im truly happy about (theyve all been extremely good). My barber today was Juan, and he did a skin fade with beard trim. This is easily the best cut Ive ever had. Not only is Juan one of the most personable people Ive come in contact with, but he does an absolutely fantastic job. I have always left here happy, but this time Im ecstatic about how it looks. I will be booking with Juan everytime from now on.

Rosey is an incredible talent. Really good with thinning mens hair and the place is really cool and a great deal for the quality.

I started bringing my boys (ages 2 and 4) to Sal’s when they reopened after covid and we’ve enjoyed every visit! Affordable, quality haircuts. The boys get compliments all the time and proudly tell people Brian cuts their hair. The juice boxes and snacks make it all the more special for them. The whole team is friendly and engage in conversation with the kids. Brian always finds ways to talk to them and make them laugh. Great with kids! Since the new ownership, safety guidelines have been tightened and customers and employees wear masks and they sanitize in between clients. If you’re looking for a great barber, you can’t go wrong with Brian at Sal’s Barbershop.

Great shop next to dunkin in Phoenixville. I needed a quick haircut for job interview next week and my usual stylist was booked. So glad I booked with Rosey. Finding the perfect barber sometimes happens by accident. The barbershop I went to for years was way back home in East LA. Rosey has that old school timeless barbering skillset. She is new at this joint, but definitely going places with those mad skills. Ill be back.

I’ve brought my two year old son here and every time the guys are super patient with him and do a fantastic job in keeping him entertained and comfortable. It’s a positive experience, and the hair cut looks great! My husband has also been here and you can definitely tell the difference between a cut at Sal’s and any other place he’s ever been to. Sal’s is our go to spot!

When I went there pre covid I had a very different amazing experience. After covid.... Or should I say during, Ehh not so much. I had a reservation that I did online as they dont take walk-in anymore. OK Kool I understand that. I showed up right on time and had to wait almost 30-45 min as my Barber was running a little behind OK I understand that I guess. I had a female I saw there the first 6 times I went pre covid, was sad I dident get to have her again she was amazing. I do wish they had more mix and match items in their website. Ie beard hot towel, oil treatments, razor head shaves (they have razor face shaves but dont have a head option) stuff like that. I hope post covid it goes back to how it was I sure liked that better... I know they are dealing with allot and its difficult so Im trying not to be too harsh.

Were going on the Marvel Disney Cruise next week and my son decided he NEEDED to have the Avengers Logo shaved into his hair. While searching around, some friends recommended Sals Barber Shop. Walked in and told Phil what we wanted and he said No Problem and dived right in. He took great care with a squirmy seven year old, and the end result has made him the happiest kid in the world. When his mom asked how the haircut went, I said good and was immediately corrected by my son Phil isnt good dad, hes AMAZING!Cant recommend this place enough!

Everything one would hope for in a barbershop. Full of life, talent, chairs and warmth. I went in on a Friday to get a haircut and a beard trim/straight blade shave. Place was busy but well staffed so the wait without appointment was brief. I was seated at Samantha Cs chair and was treated to an awesome experience. Cannot say enough about the care, time and satisfaction I received from Sam.

Started going to Sals shortly after they opened and have had my hair cut by the majority of the barbers. They are all fantastic. It is super friendly and they do fantastic work. Even with 7 people cutting it can get crowded with a bit of a wait but they will let you know and Hold your spot if they are super busy.

My brother and I stopped into Sal’s for cuts and beard trims before his wedding. I was instantly greeted by everyone inside and offered a beer. Meg did a fantastic job on getting us both looking fresh for the wedding and actually taught me a few things about hair/beard care. Overall, this is clearly a well run business with excellent staff. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Stopped in Friday night on my way home from work. Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. A nice young lady named Megan greeted me and cut my hair. She did an excellent job as well. Will definitely be visiting them in the future.

Sal is an amazing barber, very talented. Not only is he an amazing Barber but a amazing person. He is awesome with children. He cut my sons hair while on Proton Therapy for cancer. He gave Nicky his confidence back while loosing part of his hair. I will be forever grateful.

I never wright reviews but this was the second time Ive been to Sals (I went to the Limerick location before) and both times the hair cut I received was fantastic. Megan was phenomenal! She took her time and made recommendations based off what we talked about. We tried something new and Ive never been happier with my hair, thank you Megan, I love my new look!

Sals saved my New Years with some last minute wizardry after having my head butchered by Hair Cuttery. Lets be clear: if you want to show up fresh - you go to a proper barbershop and Sals is that and more. Clean crisp cuts and good banter. Couldnt recommend any place better!

I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in. I went in during a not too busy time and was immediately given a seat for my haircut. Danielle asked me what I wanted and quickly got to it. The atmosphere is very much the classic barbershop of my youth. Plenty of good conversations and positive treatment of the clients.

My son loved all the Philly team sports decor and got a great haircut too.

Not only does Sals provide amazing haircuts/beard trims but they also make sure you are well taken care of. Immediately upon walking through the door I was offered a drink, snack or anything they could help with.I took my brother for a cut/shave before my wedding this past weekend as a best man gift and Megan knocked it out of the park. She expertly gave us the exact haircuts we were looking for as well as a hot towel shave to get the details.

Great place! Samantha and Danielle have cut my hair the 2 times I visited this location. Both did an outstanding job, both were professional and friendly. My son has been getting his haircut from Samantha for a few years. Once she left her previous employer, my family followed her to Sals. Needed a quick trim before a company party. Figured l try this place, heard Sal’s was a traditional barber. After waiting over an hour, l noticed almost everyone getting the same shaved sides with an asymmetrical Mohawk on top. Something l did NOT want. When it was finally my turn, l explained several times, l want just an old school, old style trim, with tapering at the back and sides. Pretty much every barber l been to in my life understands what this means, 1/4” to 1/2” off the same style the person walked in with. Kind of mentioned this several times because l did NOT want the shaved head look like every other person in this place. The barber faced me away from the mirror, so l could not see what he was doing. Well, l soon discover this shop is a one trick pony! Once he turned me around to the mirror, rather than a simple trim,.....half my head is shaved off, past where my part use to be. And l have this floppy Mohawk on top.If l wear a 15 old kid, yeah this would be a very cool style, but as a middle aged man, l look ridiculous! The left half of my head shaved down to 1/8” up over to the top eliminating my part with no taper at the edge, the right side about 1/4” to 1/2 long, the top uneven ranging from 1/2” to 2”. (Not sure how to comb the Alfalfa-like patch of hair on top of my head.) And l could not have been more explicit that l did NOT want this type of cut. Hence, l have to assume they just don’t know how to do a tradional cut. Definitely going back to my regular barber, after my hair grows back in 3 months.

We brought our 20 month old son here on 1/19/2020. Brian took care of him. My son waited a while because they were busy. they said we could leave and come back but with a toddler that would be too hectic. It was my sons turn and Brian was so good with him. My son had lost his patience while waiting and was not the happiest customer and gave Brian a good fight! Brian was upset that he couldn’t give him the best cut possible and although my son was tough he kept trying. they high-fived after and Brian gave us the option to come back to get it cleaned up. We got so many compliments on how cute his hair was and we thought for a toddler and the fight he gave the cut was cute! While we didn’t take Brian up on the offer to come back (mainly due to my busy schedule) I want to give the best shout out and thank you to Brian and Sal’s Barber shop in Phoenixville! We will return for my sons next hair cut! 👏

My first haircut in 3 years, and I absolutely loved it. I have very long hair and scared to trust anyone. I went to the Phoenixville location and Sammi_snippets did exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job cutting my dead ends and still leaving my length. I can finally say I found my female barber that I can trust and will go to for now on. Ive seen the guys do some cuts while I was there and they do a really nice job. Everyone is super friendly very respectful and love the vibe there. I would and will recommend Sals barbershop to any and every one who is looking for someone they can trust to a good job.

I grew up in Phoenixville, and have seen all the changes. Sals is a welcome addition to our growing town. I went in on Saturday and they were packed, but they still got me in quickly. That being said, once I got in the chair, there was not one feeling of urgency to get me out, like how the corporate places handle people. Brian was my barber and I can honestly say, Ive never had a better haircut. The conversation was great and I learned a bit about what Sals is all about. Having a positive impact on the community, and helping people where they can, it was obvious to me that this place is like family. They take that extra time to really fix you up. My wife approves of the haircut, (which is obviously the most important part). I will be definitely be back. Thanks Brian!
