Really friendly and personable staff. All following the covid-19 safety protocols. My wait time was a little longer than I wanted, however theyve done a great job putting on a pair of new tires. And although I didnt want to do an alignment, they did make some mild adjustments to make sure I didnt wear out my new tires. Thus assuring that I am coming back for the other set in a month and getting that full alignment.

Nicole, Tremaine and the new mechanic sorry I forget his name went above and beyond! We had to bring our ram to replace break line that was purposely cut while staying at Homestead Suites downtown. They were all extremely nice. Nicole volunteered for us to take her car to pick up parts. Tremaine we appreciate you working on the truck! We will definitely be back! Thank you again!

The people are helpful and friendly. But their computer system and/or processes need to be adjusted or updated. The work and billing that usually takes just a couple minutes elsewhere takes at least twice that long. And its the procedures, not the person behind the counter. They also have a staffing problem with not enough people in the front or in the shop. One person in the front office shouldnt have to try to take care of 7 people. And only having two technicians when you have 6-8 bays for vehicles! Not good.

They helped me when no one else could be bothered. I went to Mavis and called R&R because my flat tire needed replaced. I was told my rim was bent and Mavis could not fix it. I asked what to do and they just shrugged. I called R&R and they told me they could not order a rim for me (which was wrong). Firestone was able to order my rim and a new tire within 30 minutes and had an appointment for me ready to go. Both individuals (I didnt get names) but the man and woman working the front were INCREDIBLE. They made sure my spare was safe to drive on and never gave up trying to help me. Amazing experience from Amazing employees!

The service here is impeccable. I had gotten a flat tire while trying to take my baby to Tybee on my day off, and no one in town would help me put my spare on except for Firestone on Skidaway. Not only did they help me with my spare they kept the bad tire and told me to go enjoy my day off and when I came back they put the new tire on. Ms. Nicole and everyone else was very helpful, polite, understanding, and professional. I will definitely be coming back to this establishment.

Tried to charge me $1,000+ telling me my car had more problems than it actually did when I brought it in for a simple brake pad replacement that I was quoted $140 for over the phone. Took it to another shop to get a second opinion and they got the job done for less than $500 and told me none of the problems these guys claimed my car had were actually there. Do not go here!!

I just needed some trailer tires replaced on the rims. I pulled them off the trailer to speed things up. I told them that wed go to lunch, get materials and come back. I found out later on that it would be 6:30pm before they could get to it. When I went to get them that evening, they said it would be tomorrow before they would get to it. I make my living with that trailer. If you want quick tire service, dont rely on this store.I hate incompetence.

During my experience here, I was up there from 9 am until 1pm literally waiting on an oil change and an inspection for my car. I am extremely professional and respectful, therefore I would have liked for them to be the same towards my time and experience there. Furthermore, they didn’t even do the oil change, as my car have been located there for 4 hours, neither was the inspection completed. Additionally, there were 5 employees there in the shop, only one car was present besides mine. Not all of the employees were working on the other car, so I’m not understanding why no one could have at least did the service of an oil change. Overall it was bad customer service and they were inconsiderate with the tendency to help and provide an excellent time with them.

Walked in to get a tire that I have road Hazzard on patched. As soon as they see it oh you wont get that back tomorrow, so I say that fine. Then I show them where theres a screw in it and they tell me the gash is too big I need a new tire.... its a screw, not a gash...

Dont waste your time (theyll waste it for you)Had a repair that was needed, scheduled an appointment for my 1 day off. When I get there am asked if I can leave it for a couple days because we only have one technician, well, maybe do not accept appointments for work you cannot do. Now I am spending my Saturday morning calling every place in Savannah trying to find someone to do the work.

Got a tire pressure light on our Sprinter with brand new tires. Drove by the Firestone shop and were immediately assisted by Brian, who checked all the tire pressure and filled it up where it was low on one tire. He was super friendly and helpful, didn’t charge us anything for the service, and wished us a safe trip.Great team and customer service. Highly recommended

I called the store to see if could get 2 nails out 2 of the 4 BridgeStone I brought from this group 4 months ago, I was told had make appointment. So I went up to store an talk to Denver, telling him I needed to get nails out of tires, I ask Denver could drop of the next morning he says yes. Drop car off at 6 am in drop box. Go to store 5:45 pm. Vehicle has not been touch at all. Never got call saying nothing about vehicle. WOW SO MUCH OF BEING CFNA CARD HOLDER FOR 10+ years!!

Michael is very arrogant on the phone. He thinks the customers are dumb and he knows it all. He is unable to listen to what the customer wants. I need a Falken Sincera tire for my car. He insisted on looking it up himself. He assured me he had it in stock. Heade me an appointment a week away. Total waste of a week. When I arrive for my appointment, no Falken tires. If he had listened to me he could have ordered the tire and given good service. If he was trained and supervised properly there could avoid bad reviews.

Went for a simple alignment and rotation, waited a week for my appt. Got there and was told I needed all kinds of front end work, stuff that has already been inspected by a separate mechanic and said to be in good order. My little $120 visit turned into an $800 nightmare that I didnt fall for. I wont be back.

I originally went for a $94.99 alignment ended up with a $946.00 on Friday and went to pick my car up Monday. At around 1:30 in the afternoon, it still wasnt worked on. As Im standing in line for about five minutes, a customer was in front of me without a mask. Hes finished, as my son walks in, hes white, instantly the rep tells my son, whos black, he cant come in without a mask. I instantly confront him the customer before me didnt have on a mask! I asked for my key! And, the rest is history!!!

Got there when they opened on a foggy February morning and explained to them that I was leaving for a trip and my wifes car needed new tires. Ret worked hard to make sure I was done in a timely fashion and their stock reflected what was available on their website. Very courteous and polite.

I had an appointment set up to get my oil changed in my AC serviced. I arrived at the shop 3 hours early just to make sure they could still get me in, they told me they have no record of me making an appointment. They will not be able to see me for two weeks. I would not recommend this company to anyone, they can not honor their appointment. FYI, I went right across the street to Dixie Motors and have an appointment set up for the next day and its $50 cheaper.

I always refer these guys. Ret you always explain everything they are doing to my vehicle, and show me pictures etc... if something is found you call me and ask is it OK to repair. I wouldnt trade Firestone for nothing...wish I could say the same for other Auto shops..

Im from out of town, Florida. My son goes to school there in Savannah. His car broke down, wouldnt start. AAA towed him to Firestone since they were open on Sundays. I personally spoke with Rhett who was very nice and cordial. Not knowing where my son should get the car towed to was a bit challenging since we did not have a mechanic up there and we all have our war stories. So it was kind of pick and choose. Anyway, with a rough idea that it was the alternator, I was prepared for a big expense. Even AAA said it was the alternator. Well I got a call from Rhett who told me, Good news, its just the battery. Thank you, Rhett and Firestone for your transparency and honesty. Trust is so important in any business.

Made an appointment at 10:10 Saturday morning for 2:00 Saturday afternoon got there 10 minutes early and was told they didnt have an appointment for me. I even showed him the e mail! I will never go to any Firestone in Savannah again.

Dont bother getting Road Hazard protection from these people. They can never actually find the time to actually honor it.

Called ahead to ask if they had same day availability for an alignment. I was told they did have availability. I gave them my name and phone number as I have been a long time customer. Even gave them an estimated time of my arrival as 2PM. Drove an hour from my home to come to this location and just to be told they would not be able to service my car. Incredibly frustrating to say the least. Won’t be using firestone or their affiliates anymore. If you don’t have appointments available, just say so. I work in transportation and was pleasantly surprised when they told me they be able to do the service same day. But communication is obviously not this location’s strong suit.

Rudest nastiest place you will ever go. Customer was six inches away from me I ask them to please back up the manager threatened me for being rude and then threatened to not rent me the equipment. Would not recommend this location.

The manager was very willing to help me unfortunately he didnt have what I need it but he may phone calls until he found another location that could help me. That was awesome to get that kind of service he didnt leave it to myself to figure it out.

We were on our way home from vacation on memorial weekend when we got a flat tire. We looked at several different places and no place would repair it nor did they have a replacement. We found Firestone in Savannah and they had a replacement tire. We told them about our situation and how we needed to get in and out as quick as possible. We had 2 toddlers and a 12 hour drive ahead of us. They were extremely friendly got us in super quick! We truly appreciated their service and willingness to work with us on time.

This is an excellent, excellent location. Their customer service is friendly and prompt, prices are fair, their employees do quality work, but perhaps most notable with this location is that they are FAST! I had to have a break line replaced back in 2012 over LABOR DAY WEEKEND and they completed service on it in ONE DAY. Over the years Ive had other work done, and its always exceeded expectations with how quickly they are able to get my car back to me. Doubly appreciated since my vehicle is a big part of how I generate income. Unfortunately my car is there now, on a Sunday, and I just received a call saying that work would be completed by the end of the day, which prompted this review. Car repairs are never fun, but these guys definitely make it a little less painful.

Im from out of town and stopped by Friday because my low tire pressure warning light came on. I asked the attendant if he would have time to check it. I was told that there was no way they could squeeze me in that day. Mind you they were open for 2-1/2 more hours.

Ive only been there three or four times when my car has broke down like always been knowledgeable and very helpful do work on my car I dont have any problems with it

I had a horrible experience at another firestone. But when I called this one and told them about my experience, they set me an appointment today. They did good on communication and were honest about when they could possibly have my vehicle ready. They got my vehicle in now and got right to work. Guessing this is slow day. But still. Communication is what I was looking for. I even brought them donuts, because they were so nice. Highly recommend them. Very pleasant folks.

On a Sunday I had to replace a flat tire...Denver, answered the phone, told me the price & said come on in! Replacement was done in no time, thanks to the tech who replaced Ernest, who left a month ago. Highly recommend this place - GREAT SERVICE & PRICES!!

I had a repair done here on the front drivers side controller arm of my 2005 Honda Oddysey last November (2018). For new parts and labor, I paid just over $1000. I drove away with my van feeling better but not 100%. Thought maybe the new part needed time to feel right. Recently had to take my vehicle in for a major alignment issue. Turns out, the bolt that holds the controller arm had not been tightened properly and had all basically wound itself nearly off. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone Id like to see alive in the future.

They conned me! Paid $100 to find out the cause of my check engine light. They told me that I had a nut missing on a coil, one spark plug stuck in the socket, and an airhose on improperly. Asked them to fix it and they said they didnt have the proper tools to get the spark plug out, that Id have to take it to an engine shop. I took my car home and got the spark plug out (wasnt too big, same size as the others). Was able to do it with my piddling Harbor Freight tool set and a professional shop couldnt?!? Anyway, addressed those issues...check engine light still on! Told them this and they said Id have to pay another hundred for them to reassess it. Paid a hundred bucks to find out what was wrong with my car, they failed to do so. Steer clear of these scammers!

My husband came here while we were visiting Savannah for Labor day weekend. Our Alternator went bad and needed to be replaced. My husband got there as soon as they opened. They were very busy due to it being a holiday weekend and everyone was traveling home. We told the guy(Denver Corsano) that we were leaving that day to come home. He understood. They got him in and fixed what needed to be fixed. My husband could not stop talking about how good this place was!

Found out today that we need new tires. Then went on Firestone website, since Ive done business with Firestone in Atlanta. Found a current offer on a set of tires, buy 3 get one free. Called up this location since its near me. Guy on the phone tries to sell us a different, lower quality set since the one I requested is out of stock.I explain that I want the set that is currently on sale. Hes out of stock and cant check other stores inventory... After I ask, he tells me that theres no way to get these tires, unless we special order them... and the discount wouldnt apply then. I ask what other tires are on the buy three get one free special, and he tells me none.I then call the southside Savannah store and explain the situation. Nice young lady on the phone takes my number, locates the tires, orders them, and sets up a time to put them on, for the sales price quoted on their website. Was it that hard to take care of the customer, Skidaway store guy? Avoid this location.

I brought my 11-year old minivan after work one day (a growing noise had suddenly gotten very loud and disconcerting). They had the car diagnosed same-day and the rack and pinion replaced the next!!Positively amazing that they had the parts for my old biddy in stock and the salesman assured me that even if they hadnt, shipping wouldnt have taken the week I had learned to anticipate at other shops. Prices for parts and labor were spot-on, nobody tried to sell me any extra services, and Carl was forthright and honest about the repairs nature and importance. Verbal estimate was the actual price, and the people were friendly and knowledgeable. I will bring my car back here in the future with good faith in this locations staff and integrity, and that is the highest praise for automotive repair shops I can muster.

DON’T GO HERE! Just wasted 3 hours of my life on an alignment. I made an appointment on online Friday, for Monday @ 3pm. When I got to the shop, they said they don’t have my appointment, that online appointments don’t show up in store. This is absolutely unacceptable!!! An alignment should not take 3 hours!I sat in the waiting room from 3 to 6:30pm. I received no discount for waiting. I am not happy with my alignment since driving home so now I’m sure I have to go back and waste more hours of my life at this very poorly ran establishment. Every time I come here we get told the same excuse that someone didn’t come in to work and they don’t have enough people working. There is no excuse! My appointment was at 3 o’clock and they did not start working on my car until 5 PM!**This place sucks! Don’t waste your time!

Impressive customer service! 90% they would be an excellent 100% if the girl upfront would smile, But I would not choose any other place to look at my car. It is what they say it is and ive used them for at least 5 years. They really seem to want to get it right for you. Get a firestone card...they cost but they will fix it right and treat u well.

Overpriced crowded and very slow

I have been Going to this Firestone for about two years and are usually get decent service. I have had a couple of minor issues before. However, I brought my car in yesterday and dropped it off because they were busy. It was there from 7:45am until I came this morning. They completed my service yesterday but did not call me. I had no idea that my car had been serviced until I called this morning. The customer service attendants dont always seem to be concerned with customer concerns. When I mentioned it to the CS person today, he didnt seem apologetic at all. If my car had been stolen or broken into after being out all night long, who would that have fallen on for failure to call me?

This review is for the following story-As were driving up north on a road trip, close to Savannah Georgia, the check engine light turn on. Oh-oh, Its Sunday, Christmas is Tuesday, every place is closed. Looks like we might have to spend Christmas here. Well, these guys werent closed. Long story short, got the car there and they checked it right away with the machine. Turns out it wasnt a major issue, and we can continue our way north.They didnt have to accept the car, as they were booked, they didnt have to check the car right away- but they did.Id like to thank them for taking the time (5min) to do what was right, (because another place told me they are fully booked and couldnt look at the car until Wednesday) I think this story can tell you about the integrity of the place

Very helpful staff. We stopped in because we were on a road trip and needed to replace a tire that was showing signs of dry rot. They didnt have any in stock but they helped us find a store on our route that did.

The employee India did an excellent job of listening to what I needed, as I was on the side of the road, and finding the right parts for me. Employee Denver was helpful keeping me informed throughout the process, and friendly at checkout.

My son, a college student, went to this location for an alignment prior to his 6-hour drive home before Christmas. He had been experiencing some sway in the front tires. The location performed the alignment and tire rotation and sent him on his way so he could come home the next day. After he was home I drove the car and could tell it just wasnt right. Took it to a local mechanic here at home and found that one of the rims was badly damaged and needed to be replaced - this wheel was now on the back instead of the front due to the earlier rotation. It was so bad that while driving on local streets other drivers were bringing our attention to the wobbliness in the tire. This Firestone location didnt even mention this. They rotated the tires so had to see it, but rather just did the rotation and alignment - the latter of which clearly wasnt needed due to the problem coming from the rim itself - and took my sons money while sending him out to drive under what were likely unsafe conditions. He wont be going back here while he remains at school for the next 2 years.

Literally the night before a family vacation to Disney, we got a flat. One that I couldnt fix with a basic plugging kit (the tire walls had warps from heat and weakening). I called first thing in the morning, spoke with Drew, and he had four tires that actually fit my van in stock, and they were on sale. He was able to squeeze me in if I went there right away, and I was out of there in just a couple hours. I know they were busy that day because I heard him on the phone telling people that they have filled up what they can handle for the day, while I was waiting. Regardless, he tried to help make the vacation go smoothly for us and even wished us a good trip as I was leaving. It may not be the best service in town, but I certainly didnt have a complaint about it.

Went in on a Sunday needing to get 2 wheels balanced, the man who worked the counter was condescending and rude. He said let me see, what makes you think you need your tires balanced?I never came in for a diagnosis, I came in for a service to be rendered. He asked to look at it then said no, we cant balance normal 20 wheels. Pushed to the side because my problem didnt make them enough money...Avoid these people like the plague...Once a long time customer of Firestone, never again will I buy tires or get repairs done here!

Would NOT price match, although they say they would over the phone. The tires I needed were $175 at Walmart, $180 Tire Rack, they wanted to charge $212. So I walked out, now getting them elsewhere. I guess they didnt want any extra business. 04/03/2018

Went there a few months ago and purchased a set of tires. I asked the guy thats was helping me did the price include road side hazard. He said that it did. Long story short it did not now I have a almost new tire that I have to repair out or pocket when I paid almost 600 dollars for tires. I wait 5 hours in the shop tires just to not get what I needed. I will never vist this location again. This is not the this first time this has happened. If the wrong man that was helping me was not in a rush this could have been avoided.

Took car in for one tire after puncturing a sidewall. Paid for a rotation that was never performed, I knew this because I remembered I had marked with a Sharpie my front passenger tire. It was still at that position. Plus, the new tire was missing a stem cap. Sloppy, dishonest work, never getting my business again

Today is the third time I’ve gone by in the course of the last year and not been seen. Make an appointment. They are under staffed.
