What a great team of guys. I am 6.5 months pregnant and a mom of a toddler. I got two flats a couple of streets over. Richie got me and in and out within 35 mins. Affordable, extremely reliable, and an all around excellent experience. Couldn’t ask for more. If I could give 100 stars I would!

This place is great! We were from out of town, camping on Tybee Island. Our camper blew a tire on the way to Tybee. My husband tried 4 places around Savannah and Tybee to get a tire for camper. They were the only place that had one in stock and they held it for us. On the day we picked it up, my husband was not feeling well. Richard was so kind and compassionate. He got the old tire out of the bed of our truck, put the rim on the new tire and put in back if truck for me. Asked if he could do anything else to help. He said he hoped my husband feels better and wished us safe travels. Thanks Richard and Savannah Tire!

Good customer service despite waiting 3 days for a tire patch

Every step of the process of getting a new tire had issues. Took me more than 10 minutes of back and forth to schedule an appointment because the guy kept suggesting times and dates that I already said don’t work. Took my car in a day early to drop off and they had no appointment or tire ordered for me. The tire I was originally quoted on wasn’t available but didn’t quote me on an alternative, which would be put on 2 days after my original appointment. The same guy called back twice within 30 minutes to let me know it was finally done then when I went to pick up they put a tire that was $100 more than quoted. They discounted the tire down but the price is still cheaper on their website. Called the manager Richard and he said there’s nothing he can do because website prices are different and hung up on me. I didn’t get the option to select my tire and would have taken it somewhere else if I had known they would just pick a tire to put on without my approval. I should have taken my car back when they screwed up the appointment in the first place. AVOID THIS PLACE!

Came in at 8:30 Friday morning to get our tire replaced. Shop was full and backed up from cars dropped off the night before, but we told the manager we have a long road trip ahead of us, and he helped us out with a discount and amazing service in under an hour and a half! The store manager Richard was so helpful when I arrived with a flat tire at the end of the workday. They fit me in last-minute, saving me the hassle of having it towed somewhere else. Fast and reliable service. So glad I found this place.

This place is the real deal. They understand the frustration that comes with car trouble and genuinely do everything they can to help as quickly as possible. I had no appointment - they were clearly busy and they were even short a few mechanics - despite all that, they found a way to take a look at my vehicle within minutes.

Splash shield got cracked on my car, pull into Savannah Tire not even looking for service yet, Patrick comes out and offers me same day, less than an hour service and advice on how to fix the issue. Real honest service that left a hell of an impression

I set up an appointment on my phone for the same day (It was a Friday). I received a call to confirm. Dropped my car off around 1:30. Called around 4:45 checking in. Richard apologized and said he would take care of my car ASAP. I called at 5:45 (they close at 6) and my car was done. I live in walking distance. Got my car right at 6. Richard apologized again and said that the oil change was free. Cant beat that!!

Walked in for a tire due to getting a bungee cord stuck in it. The guys at the front were really nice and told it would be awhile. I said okay it needs fixed and then they moved us up faster in the line. Honest, and not trying to just take you for your money especially for being out of towners (from Michigan). I love that! Richard and his team saved our entire vacation! We arrived in Savannah to have an over night on the way to Asheville. Our check engine came on and we diagnosed it was a cylinder misfiring. We called several places and were told sorry it’s Friday and Labor Day Weekend and we’re told nobody could help until Tuesday… Richard answered our call and was able to find the issue, locate the ONLY part in the area and install it for us! A true gentleman in every way. This team is absolutely professional and timely, something that is hard to find much less in a town you’re not from. Thank you so much Richard, God Bless you!

I had a tire with a screw in the heart of the tread and was slacking on getting it fixed -- figuring Id end up needing a new tire. I called Savannah Tire late on a Sunday, was told they could take me first thing in the morning.I dropped off my car with Richard just after 8am, let him know where the screw was and told him no rush. They were busy and he said he should have the screw removed and tire repaired around lunchtime.I picked my car up at 1230pm, all fixed and happy. Nothing fancy, just an easy and honest repair convenient to downtown.

My first time going to Savannah Tire and I could not have left more satisfied. One of my tires had a leak and they fixed it for free. I would never expect free service, but they won my business. In the future, I will be seeing them for all of my tire and general repairs. Great place!

Huge shout out to the gentlemen at Savannah Tire! I rolled in with a tire that needed some air. Didn’t know which one - just a message on my dashboard saying “Tire needs air now.” No appointment or anything but the fellas stopped what they were doing and checked all my tires for pressure and then they found the problem…a nail in the tire! I was in a rush and a bit flustered. They said “no problem, ma’am…we can fix this in10 minutes!” And they did! No pressure to buy a new tire, no hassle. Just quick, efficient service. I’ll shop here next time I need tires!

Brought our rental because of low tire air. The guys were super friendly and helped us out. It turns out it was a nail in the tire and they fixed it right then. A quick fix that allowed us to continue a worry free vacation.

I recently visited this location and I must say they have the Friendliest staff and the most helpful manager. I do believe his name was Richard. We were in Savannah over a weekend and found out a tire wasn’t holding pressure. The worker at Savannah Tire was very friendly and offered to sneak us into their schedule if we had been able to leave our car there. Very friendly and willing to help an out-of-towner!

I recently had service done by another shop I hadnt had experience with. They messed up my rear breaks pretty bad a couple days later I got a flat tire and decided to bring it to Savannah Tire who Ive had good experiences with. Ive seen a lot of complaints about employees and relating it to wait time. I think that is absurd the employees have to operate in order of the work orders and always call you before doing something expensive. I asked Richard if he could check out my rear calipers it took a bit to get to but I really dont mind as patience is a virtue and I appreciate him doing it. He finally called me back and told me it was just a simple fix and fixed it and gave it a test drive called me back and told me he wasnt going to charge me as it was easy and the mistake was made by a previous mechanic I told him Id be happy to pay and he insisted not to. I ended up tipping him because I appreciate an honest mechanic, if you have patience and want the best care for your car without being lied to...Richard at Savannah Tire is the man!

I went to one of their stores in the SAVANNAH AREA last weekend and they are part owners with Mavis Tire i know for a fact what i had in my car when i left i noticed a item was stolen out my car DON’T SHOP HERE THEY WILL STEAL OUT YOUR CAR WHILE YOU ARE WAITING FOR YOU CAR TO BE CHECKED OR IF YOU DO WATCH THEM DON’T SIT IN WAITING AREA FOLLOW THEM

These people will not cheat you out of your money. They do what you ask them, and even if youre naive when it comes to car things, they wont take advantage of you. Great prices and even better service!

Joshua and Calvin were so friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this Sav. Tire location for any vehicle maintenance needs you may have. I spend a LOT of time on the road and have used this shop in the past but these two guys will be the reason I bring all my trucks in for service. They actually smile (real ones not fake ones), are very knowledgeable and take the extra time to make sure you understand what repairs are being done and why they recommend something either then or at least to be aware of for the future. Customer service and mechanical skill like this are so hard to find so I hope they get something more than a pizza party for this review. They all deserve a raise! Oh and shout out to Alexis from the other store, she helped me in the past when she was filling in at this location and that woman knew her stuff! Make sure to call for an appointment ahead of time if you can.

Set up an appointment in advance for 9AM on a Tuesday for a minor wheel bearing issue with the manager, Calvin.During 6 hours of waiting, I pleasantly followed up and they gave me an excuse along the lines of other customers with appointments are ahead of you and we probably wont get to it today.Since they open at 8AM on Tuesday, I find it hard to believe that there were 6 hours worth of appointments ahead of my 9AM appointment that day.It doesn’t matter how busy a company is- don’t set up an appointment and use up a person’s whole work day, then expect to sit on their car for another day. An appointment is an agreement of time, which clearly Savannah tire did not honor. Furthermore, how can you trust a place like this with your car? After reading through reviews, I dodged a bullet here as they seem to screw up cars.I went in and asked for my key back from the manager Calvin, left, and will not be returning. I do not recommend this place, save yourself some time and go elsewhere- there are dozens of auto-repair shops in Savannah.

Just sat here 2.5 hours of my day for my services to be turned down by Richard with some of the worse customer service Ive ever witnessed here in Savannah. Hes definitely a laborer, he doesnt know how to deal with nor talk to the public. I sat here 2.5 hours because the actual wires are showing in both of my front tires. Now I with be forced to chance another day driving to work or buy some tire from the 24 hour tire used tire shop on Montgomery St & Dereene Ave (which will be a waste of money). This is all the results of relying on Savannah Tire, which is supposed to be an professional establishment. No one should have to deal with this guy Richard. After reading the other reviews about this guy, I dont understand why Savannah Tire allow their customers to have to deal with him.

This was my first time getting something fixed in my car. I didn’t have any knowledge and such and was very worried. The staff were amazing and helpful. They were able to fix everything right away and were very comforting. Amazing service, definitely going to be my go to place in Savannah.

Beware! Went for a flat tire repair today. Was contacted for a discussion with technician. Tech told me all tires were more than 6 years old and dry rotted. Need 4 new tires. I knew that was not right do I took the flat tire and left. I didnt realize the dates were on the tires but when I got home my daughter checked and they were not from 2014 as the tech indicated- 2016 and 2017. Also, found recent paperwork from dealer indicating tires in good shape. Shame on these guys!

I was traveling from jacksonville to Savannah for work and on the way up I became concerned about a rattling in the drivers side front end area. I just had front end suspension work done two days before so I needed to know what was going on. I pulled into savannah tire and was met by Richard who also shared concern. Even though there were a few vehicles before me, he pulled it in to quickly check as if he was more concerned about my safety than the cause of the problem. With a quick repair, I was on my way feeling relieved that I wasnt taking an unnecessary risk that might have caused an accident involving others. I highly recommend as the customer service, work performed and overall experience.
