Apparently they just switched to AutoNation yesterday, and they seem completely flustered and unprepared for customers (if you can get them on the phone). My car has been there since yesterday morning and I have yet to find out the status of my vehicle. Maybe theyll be better once they can get organized. But if youre looking to service your car, you should probably steer clear of this place at least for a while. PS - theyre currently not offering shuttle service.
I had the best experience ever! Both recalls were performed and I was back on the road in no time. Great service all around! Thank you VW of Savannah! I will be back!
Very helpful and informative. Great job on the repairs and detail!
After an awful experience at another shop, VW here in Savannah made everything pleasurable and was very patient with me working with my warranty for the vehicle. Everyone was great, thank you! I will be back soon for an oil change 😊
Dealership will NOT want to give you a good trade in price for your car, no matter how much it’s valued at. The car I bought was not even detailed before I left the lot; luckily I got them to add a full detail into my contract. I don’t believe the car I purchased had been serviced before I purchased because shortly after purchase I had to replace brakes and rotors. Oh, and apparently their staff knows more about your insurance and what it covers than you do so don’t try to tell them how much you don’t need GAP insurance unless you’re ready for a debate like a Democrat on Fox News.
Great service from the start our salesman (Brian) was fantastic. Brian had a great approach with not being pushy but consistent on hearing our likes and dislikes. The process was very smooth.
All was good. Fast, efficient and the waiting room was clean. The service gentleman at check-in were polite and friendly. My car runs fine
The service associate, Andrew, we helpful and informative. I was told the service would take about 1.5-2 hours, and it was done within that parameter. I’ve had bad experiences with other dealerships, but this was great and I will be back in the future. The customer lounge also was quiet and had snacks available.
Great responsiveness and care from service manager Andrew when I encountered a heater core leak while 9 hours drive from home. The need for prompt action was understood immediately and every effort was made to get us back on the road. While not an inexpensive fix, mechanic Jose identified the problem and got it fixed within 3 hours of the part arriving, which allowed us to get home before midnight. Obvious that they valued our time and need to return to work. Pleasant and considerate in all regards.
Andrew in service was incredibly helpful during our time of need. We had overheated in the middle of hurricane Elsa thanks to $55 part failure. Savannah Volkswagen not only repaired the car but allowed us to call if there were any roadside problems on the way back to your destination (10 hours away).A+ service
Everyone was very nice and experienced I had a great experience they kept me informed on the process with my vehicle
The staff were professional and addressed each concern. The service appointment intake staffer seemed very stressed however and I hope things are going better for him.
Very polite and informative. Smooth transition of my car to them and back to me.Washed and vacuumed my car while they had it.Jeffrey took great care of me.
Service was great from start to finish. No issues getting an appointment and work was done in a few hours. They even went the extra mile to clean the car. Great experience. Definitely recommend!
Service dept is absolutely terrible. Will never take my car there again.I will not email Pete Capehart. I left him numerous messages explaining the entire situation and 2 callback numbers with a voicemail and with live people, and he never returned my calls. He even couldn’t be found by staff at the dealership twice when we were on the phone looking to speak with him. He either doesn’t exist, or he doesn’t care. Now we are stuck 2 hrs from Savannah and an hour from Macon with no vehicle. It was towed to Macon where no loaners are available, and we were told it’s up to Savannah VW to get us a loaner since they messed up the car. How do we do that? We have to get in touch with Pete Capehart, which is clearly impossible. Absolutely ridiculous. In addition, I was asked to remove my original review because it would reflect poorly on the salesman. We had no issues with him. He’s the reason we bought the car! Why should a review about service get him in trouble? What kind of place is this? If I do my job poorly, no one else in another dept or even in my own will catch heat for it. Your GM, Brad, is also useless and provided no help or resolution.
I had my 2012 VW GTI (my baby) serviced recently. The service employees & techs were great. She runs like new!!
Ron & Mike were absolutely amazing to work with. We love our new Atlas! Thank you for all your help & staying late on a Saturday night.
Andrew was wonderful to deal with at a critical time for me. Just bought this car and it broke down 2 days later, Andrew was there the whole way! Only thing I had a hard time with was not having a loaner car available to drive while mine was being repaired. Great customer service!
I heard about Savannah Volkswagen through a friend and I decided to go and see what they had. Mr. Ron was very nice and pleasant and when he says he’s gonna get you in a car he means just THAT! I will refer anyone to him that’s in need of a car.
Not good at communicating with customers and don’t give realistic wait times. Had to call a different Volkswagen dealer to get accurate information about something that was said by their service department rep and then extended my wait time even further and was given no apology or compensation for their screw up.
Stopped in around 4:30pm because the low oil pressure sensor was going off. Service guys looked at it right away, spotted a quick, simple fix, and didn’t charge me anything. Excellent service, and a really positive experience.
I made an appointment for my 50,000 mile service on my VW Golf. This is my third VW. I have always taken my VWs in for their routine maintenance to the dealership. Typically, these appointments last an hour or, at most, an hour and a half.I moved to Savannah a couple of months ago. My Golf was due so I made an appointment two weeks out for the service. I arrived on time to my appointment. I should have left when the price I was quoted for the service was higher than what their own website had quoted! I was also not given an estimated wait time. Stupid me, I had made plans for after my appointment, thinking I would be out of here in a couple of hours. My appointment was at 9:30 am. It is now 1:50 pm. I have been told there is another 20-30 minutes left on my car. At 1:00 pm, when I asked for an update, I was told my car was almost done. The 50,000 mile service is pretty minor (oil and brake fluid change). I have watched people who arrived after me come and go.This is not how I envisioned spending my day off. I will be racing out of here to get across town to a 2PM appointment (that I’ll be late for). No acknowledgement that my time is valuable and no regular updates on my vehicle. I currently own two VWs and will take both of them to Hilton Head VW for their future service appointments.
Great service packages and always prompt and courteous. The times when repairs have taken longer than expected they offered a loaner and everything was perfect.
The staff were visibly overwhelmed when I dropped off my car, for an appointment that I waited a month for. Tire rotation/balance and oil change. Im not convinced that my tires were rotated because of a scratch on one of the rims is on the same rim and the brake dust doesnt have finger prints. They didnt tell me when my next oil change should be. Sounds pretty but in short, they didnt earn my confidence. They did have a nice free coffee machine and my car was ready one minute earlier than my quoted time.
My brother took his car here three different times for the same issue. Each time they were unable to provide him with a loaner car. Misdiagnosed his vehicle twice, was expecting a more experienced/professional environment but instead received sub standard service.
Very friendly and helpful service. Second time buying a car from this dealership in 5 years. I would recommend buying a car from Savannah VW!
Andrew did a fantastic job scheduling our service, keeping us informed and offering recommendations from the mechanic. The car returned to is in tip top condition.
Parts department hurt my feelings. Cant believe they hung up on me. I only asked a question...
Good customer service! Andrew at the service was very professional, explaining everything and updating me on a timeline. Nice waiting area with drinks, comfortable chairs and good wifi. Will go there for service again.
Took our car in for a thermometer issue. They had to order the part. Came back a day later to pick it up. I saw the mechanic drive the car in the garage. They had not even started working on it. The following week there was another thermometer issue and a slow leak in one of the tires. They checked it all out said it just needed air. My daughter had a flat tire just a few hours later on I 16. There was a nail in it. Still waiting on them to call me back
I bought a Taos 2 weeks ago from here. Car is great and would recommend the car to anyone. The overall buying experience though had been rough and slow. I ended up having to travel 50 miles from Statesboro 3 different days attempting to get documents to them, and spent several hours there each of those days. My trade in I come to find out hasnt been paid off yet after 2 weeks, which has resulted in an automatic payment for that trade in being deducted from my account which will end up putting me in a financial bind to make my first payment on my new car.I still recommend buying the Taos, but would suggest possibly looking elsewhere to purchase it.
Expensive and slow in service but seems to do good work
Great service and worked with us to get a great deal on our trade in!!!
Staff helped very well. I was in there for about 4 hours, but it was not time wasted. The entire time the staff were doing what they could to try and find me the best deal. They weren’t pushy or made you feel uncomfortable. You can tell that team is there to help!
Andrew and Jeff were very helpful getting us a new tire in a very short amount of time! Thank you for helping our family!
Oil changes take forever! The only reason I go here is because I have to due to the Certified Pre-Owned status. It’s always 2 hours+. After waiting an hour and 30 minutes this time, they said they were washing it and it would be ready. 40 minutes later when I approached the counter, they were just finalizing my paperwork. I know a car wash doesn’t take 40 minutes, and why wasn’t the paperwork finalized when the oil change was finished? The poor lady I met in the waiting area, was there for 4 hours for an oil change. That’s ridiculous for a simple oil change. I understand the economy sucks and everywhere is short staffed, but book service accordingly. I even walked around the showroom during my wait and never saw a single employee!
This rating is for Mr. Andrew. He was so helpful and made sure we were taking care of. I know this dealership is often busy and sometimes I cannot get through to schedule an appointment. Once we got a hold of Mr. Andrew, he went above and beyond on customer service, made sure he communicated with us regularly on what was going on with our vehicle, and changed my mind about the service at this Volkswagon.
Thanks Andrew for your great customer service!
I love Savannah Volkswagon! That take great care of my bug and keep her running great! They are honest and do the job right. Highly recommend!
I was very satisfied with my service rep Andrew Skaggs. Andrew was very helpful and full of information. I wasn’t aware of the service issues involving my vehicle but Andrew sat down and went over everything with me. Andrew and I discussed the issues, the cost, and the game plan. Of course, I was frustrated because I was without my car for three(3) days but Andrew took care of me. Overall I left Savannah Volkswagen with a smile on my face.
Happy with my service very efficient ready when they told me tocar was clean
Professional, courteous and a sense of humor.
I took my car in for a recall and my car was damaged during the fix. The dealer said no problem we will fix it I waited 2 weeks for the part to come in and am now on 3 weeks of waiting for them to get a loaner car for me. I will not use this dealer again. I ended up trading my VW before I got it fixed and still to this day have yet to hear from VW about fixing my car. 😔
Great service never a long wait
Came in for a factory recall on drivers side air bag and expected 1 1/2 hour wait but the service rep was polite and prepared and I was out in much less time. No problems, very pleased with entire experience.
Receptionist all the way to finance was Awesome. Definitely have my business and anyone I can tell, you will not be disappointedThank you again
Ron is a very awesome salesman! He gets you the best deal and is very friendly. He made me very comfortable and confident in my purchase.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON THE PHONE AND THE PARTS GUY JUST STRAIGHT UP HUNG UP ON ME. RUDE DO BETTER
My gti needed an intake manifold as well as a valve cleaning. As per request I asked for specific photos through out the entire repair, and what I recieved were 6 out of focus shots of a dirty head, and ports. The car idles lovely and motor was reassembled properly, but does not accelerate as it did prior to engine code p2015, and was missing my plastic valve cover which needed to be removed from the back seat. Bryon assured me that car would be cared for as meticulously as requested and would be degreased under the hood, but to no surprise, it was not touched after leaving the vehicle an additional 4 days! Reason for two stars is because after fighting with the service manager Howard over my car being returned in the condition I left it in (dirty& sluggish), trying to speak the the general manager was impossible and I was forced to leave unsatisfied which is a first for me when I comes to my Volkswagen service experience. Dont believe these reviews and their customer service on here. Customer never came first in this instance.
I came in for a check engine diagnostics and was charged 1.95 for oil disposal, and over $15 for shop supplies. When I inquired about why I was charged for these I got an apology for the oil and was told it would be taken off. When I asked what the shop supplies were I was told it was for use of tools and stuff. When I got my card back neither of the charges were removed. To which I got another half hearted oh Im sorry but still had no resolution. Needless to say I will not be coming back to your dealership for repairs again. I will go somewhere where I am not gonna be swindled.
Savannah Volkswagen got me in and handled my problem. Andrew was very professional and polite. If everyone could have that personality things would go so smoothly.
Bought my car here in March 2020, and shortly after I brought it in for an alignment check. The tech told me he couldn’t find my warranty and I needed to bring proof of it. I was also told my alignment was fine.I just brought my car to VW in HH for a tire balance & rotation yesterday, where I was told my alignment has in fact been off. It was explained that essentially, both of my rear tires were pointing outward. This caused my tires to wear down the second tread & now I’m looking at needing two new tires. This car was sold to me with brand new tires; I brought my car in specifically for the issue that caused this.
Laid back & cool vibe! welcoming and patient! bought a car today : ) well worth the out of state trip! this dealership won me over compared to five unrelated dealerships in four states all visited by me in recent months.
Andrew was absolutely understanding and exceptional when it came to getting my vehicle serviced! He made sure everything was taken care of in a timely manner.
Visited in the last month for oil change. My radio was working great. Went out shop 5-5:30 going home when it just stopped playing my DVD; attempted to turn on radio and it would not come on. Thought they ordered a part for me and I will have them look at what’s going on. Waited 4-5 weeks and no call about ordered part. Still no radio; flash on/off, but not working. Took it in had ordered part replaced and was told to replace the radio, DVD systemwas $3200 dollars. I said didn’t the warranty company want to replace it. No. In shop working out shop stopped within first red light. Now I am told that radio system is dedicated to my 2015 VW Passat SEL. I have to ordered it through VW to work. Real confused and upset about no help from dealership and warranty company. Changed warranty company. Any suggestions from someone with same 2015 VW Passat SEL TDI car??
Everything was amazing! I had to get an oil change before a last minute drive to Cleveland and they were so accommodating and great! Thank you!
They were great on working with me on price. It is the only time I ever bought a vehicle in 40 years that a check would not be taken, even with a letter from the bank, and, an open invitation to call the bank and independently ask. I would have liked to have been told there was only one key. It being a VW dealership, I am disappointed that another key was not provided as the cost would have been negligible to them.
Service Advisor was nice. Kept in contact through text. Car washed at the end.
All went well and fast. Good is yet to be determined.
Worst customer service ever, car has been in and of shot for a year!!! Can’t seem to figure out what is wrong with my car.... and to make it all worse took 4 months to get me a rental. Would recommend going elsewhere. Very disappointed!!!!!
Could not have asked for a better experience with Brian & Darian! Best car buying experience we’ve ever had and they went above and beyond to find what we wanted and get it here to Savannah.
Very easy to work with and I got what I was looking for. Thanks Big
Great dealership. Ron and Josh are extremely friendly and worked with us SOO much. I would recommend friends and family to this team.
First visit on March 31,2021, since I moved to Savannah, and I ended up not getting my vehicle serviced after the service advisor pushed my car to the back of the line. I made a appointment for 9 am and the advisor Jeff told us it would be ready at noon. We called at 1135 and they had not even started on it. So I picked the vehicle up and all he had to say was sorry. I will not be back.
Matthew is such an amazing employee! Made my process simple and sweet and thanks to him I got the vehicle I’ve been looking for! Greatly appreciate his work! Would recommend him to everyone ! He is amazing
Dropped car off for an oil change at 9am. Came to pick my car back up at 5:30pm (when it was ready) I didn’t receive a new oil mileage sticker. So I decided to call them to inform about the sticker and I was told to “just remember you came around this time next year” and car was not reset after oil change. Got on YouTube and learned how to reset it myself.
The service was good but long wait time. It took close for 2 hours for a 10000 mile service
Took car in for warranty work on Fuel injector. Service advisor called and said needed valves cleaned. I was skeptical and thought it was an “upsell”, so i declined. Later dropped in to see for myself. They were 100% correct. The valves were smothered in carbon soot. Called around to see what a fair price from other shoos and their price was below average. Thanks for being fair and trustworthy!!
Excellent, thorough service team. My Eos has never ran better. I highly recommend.
Julius made my first car buying experience a pleasant one. He fully explained the features of my car and answered any questions that I had. His personality was so friendly that I was put at ease throughout the experience. Julius made sure that I was informed about every step of my car buying experience.
Professional and people are nice.
I am very disappointed with the service I am receiving from the Volkswagen dealership,I have a 2010 Volkswagen CC and they have been doing the service on my vehicle for years every time I take the car in the service staff is always different no consistency.. Im a Frontline worker so I need dependable transportation and to top it off they have had my vehicle for 3 weeks and its still not running right. The dealership did not even call me to let me know my car was ready I call them went in to pick the car up on yesterday and soon as I left with the car it did the same problem I had expressed two weeks ago.. And the charges are high rate and now today I spoke with corporate and the dealership and they are saying its another problem Im not understanding all of the other things they said were not needed Im very disappointed and I feel like they are taking advantage of me during a pandemic.. Im wanting the General manager to get in touch with me,and Im wanting a refund.. The customer service is not been great I had to demand a loaner car on yesterday before that I had to get a rental they did not offer me transportation 😡😡😡 I promise you I will be writing bad review until I feel like Savannah Volkswagen have resolve the issue..
Buyer beware. A few years ago I bought a used Pacifica from these folks (New River) when they were on White Bluff and Eisenhower (Used car lot). It had a blown head gasket and someone had put an additive in it to patch it up. It lasted about 1.5 months, $4500. It very much appeared to be a totally dishonest resale.
Great job of changing oil and filter. The car wash VW provided after service was better than anyone else has ever done. Thanks!
I had a really great experience purchasing my car. Savannah Volkswagens team that I encountered (Ronald, Jennita, Matthew, and Tony) were extremely helpful provided detailed info with any questions I had.
The service center needs to get their machines and customer service together. Dont make the client call to check updates. Not happy, AT ALL. Will NOT bring back for service.
They took my VW and said it needed $3,000 worth of work for some parts that I looked up and only cost $25 each. $3,000 for a few hours of service? The YouTube videos explaining how to do the service were only about an hour-long each. These guys are nuts.
Overall good experience.-Was able to get an appointment within a week of setting it.-Great customer service. Was greeted at door and pleasant experience.- Price was ok, but my 90,000 mile maintenance took under two hours.-Coffee machine in the lounge was very nice.
Got a great deal. And was greeted and shown around by Matthew who had excellent customer service and was very nice.
I purchased a car here 5 months ago and still havent received my tag. Apparently VW screwed up my title and then decided not to fix it. My temp tagged expired 2 months ago and I was pulled over my the police and had to go to court. Ive called 10x and went up there asking for help. My husband went up there 2 weeks ago and they gave him a Dealer tag that expired yesterday. This is ridiculous! I have been a VW customer for years but not anymore. They have totally lost my trust as a customer. I am so disappointed.
Excellent service and customer service
This was my first time buying a car on my own and it couldn’t have went any better. I was able to secure an awesome deal thanks to these guys, much better than other dealerships I visited. They were extremely helpful and never pushed me into anything. I would absolutely recommend this place to any first time buyers. Best decision I’ve ever made!
Dealership was great to deal with. Very personable and polite. Gigi took care of me and was great. I had A bit of a road trip to get back home during pouring rain late at night and she even checked to make sure I made it alright and then followed up later to make sure everything was going well.
Worst customer serviceTo much long time for only oil change almost 4 hourPlus only 1 year old car and have to pay for oil changeAsk for manager, but manager is not availableFront desk person not helpful at all
Service was outstanding and they only conducted the items that were specified
Service adviser was very thorough, explained what would be done before hand. Waiting area is nice with free sodas and snacks. Was kept abreast of the process by service manager, and came to get me when car was ready.Realized that evening that I had forgotten my water flask at the service desk, and made a call to check. Yes, it was there. However, after my call, a different person from the agency called to advise me that my flask was at the desk. Nice service.Reason for four stars instead of five is that when you call in to make a service appointment, or to talk to the service manager, all too often your call goes to voice mail. This should not happen. It is not the fault of the staff, but rather the lack of staff, I believe. It is not good to let your clients hanging, wondering when or if they might call back. Attention needs to be given to this detail.Otherwise, overall was pleased with the service to the car.
I helped my friend get a car here and the car dealer we talked to was very friendly and honest. Id say check them out if youre looking for a friendly, honest, and great service to get a car
Awesome staff, they were very flexible when it came to pricing on the vehicle and very efficient in getting paperwork ready and easy to sign. I had stayed during lunch and they had given me some lunch as an apology for going through lunch. Ask for Anthony Keller for vehicle selection and Rick for financing. They will help you as much as they helped me. Thanks guys.
Took 5 tries to get a hold of them to set an appointment up, took three hours for a the maintenance check, awful job vacuuming out the interior and they missed a nail in the tire that was found 30 mins after leaving dealership. Very disappointing, will go to a different dealership for next maintenance check
If you are in search of a Volkswagen, if you need to get your Volkswagen serviced, or if you’re in the market for another vehicle; I highly suggest you take your business elsewhere. For the past year I have put up with the substandard practices at this dealership purely out of convenience since they are the only VW dealer in the immediate area. Yesterday was the final straw. A close friend from out of town decided to come down to go vehicle shopping. That morning the vehicle he wanted sold so he decided to check out new models and see the numbers to ensure the vehicle was comfortably within his budget. His sales associate was Matt, with whom I had a pleasant experience with in the past. Matt was entirely helpful and polite until my friend decided the new vehicle instead of the cpo he initially came for was in his means, but not necessarily a prudent purchase. At that moment Matt came unglued and my friend and I, both with customer service backgrounds, never felt more disrespected. He insultingly stated that “you should have thought about your numbers before coming in here and wasting my time.” He then proceeded to storm off to the hall in front of the finance managers office and loudly so the entire lobby can hear, state “he doesn’t want the car, this was a complete waste of time!” The finance manager was nice enough to invite us into her office to try to calm the mood and make sense of things. When my friend explained that he was gracious of the deal (which I will state was a good deal) but he explained that there are more prudent matters that take precedent at the moment. The finance manager politely agreed and thanked him for considering the dealer and promised if he returned, he would have a better experience. The problem is that was too little and too late. Regardless of what Matt may have been going through, there was absolutely no reason to treat a customer like that. He ruined any prospect of return business from my friend and myself. I have owned 3 VWs and all of them have been dealer maintained including my current vehicle. Their service department needs work as well. Even if you have an appointment, there seems to be no respect for your time, and one of their service advisers always looks stoned. I have never seen such a poorly run VW dealer. This by far is not to the standards of the Volkswagen brand. I will gladly take my business elsewhere and suggest you do as well. Their parent company Peacock Auto Group owns the Hardeeville VW store as well, so your next closest option is Charleston or Jacksonville. I hope you don’t experience the same level of disrespect and that they are able to deliver a better experience for you. Savannah Volkswagen you need to do better. A few employees are capable of ruining the experience for the entire dealership and I suggest that management take the time to adequately vet their employees before they tarnish the brand beyond repair.
Andrew gave me excellent service!!!
My helper was Matthew Lisi. This man has the best customer service ever. Like he ask all the right questions making sure youre comfortable with the vehicle youre trying to.purchase finance whateva the case maybe. So who ever looking for a car Matthew can help get the job done. I was so happy when I was approve he kept me in high hopes Im so happy to do service with you guys. (MATTHEW LISI) GREAT AT HIS JOB FOR SURE
Great service! Kind, timely, professional. Not the typical “dealership” out to get you. Thank you!!
Just wanted to alert anyone buying from this dealership to beware. First, I got myself an internet quote on a used vehicle. Online it clearly stated that the prices listed included the 799$ dealer fee. Well would you know when I called and asked for a quote, they ADDED IT on to the actual price and tried charging me again. When I called them out and showed them their fine print.. they chalked it up to a ‘paperwork error’. Shady!I looked past that because I liked the car. They are texting with me back and forth all day. We are trying to come up with a price etc. everything finally seems like it is settled. They sent me the link for the finance application and assured me once I filled it out the price would not change and the vehicle would be waiting for me. (It’s a 6 hour drive) Well six hours from now is after business hours, so we will have to wait until the next business day. I doubled checked it would be held until the next business day... at which point she said it was in the process of being sold to a gentleman they saw YESTERDAY! So basically this vehicle was sold the whole time we were communicating. Good thing I didn’t have them run my credit. I know it’s business, but they dont care about the customer, or the fact that I wasted so much time and would have wasted hours driving there, they only care about who can go buy the car the quickest. Again, shady and not good for business. The customer service is really lacking. Places like this built on lies and greed, are why dealerships have a scummy reputation. Go elsewhere!
Why is there not a ZERO star option? Mechanic failed to completely replace my oil a few months ago. When the low oil light came on and I took to dealership, they told me bring back in another 1000 miles to check oil level because there were no leaks and no smoke so my vehicle must be eating oil. Took back after 1000 miles and they told me the catalytic converter is eating oil. Now the engine is knocking and they have told me I need a new engine due to running on low oil. Previously I had complained about a brake problem every time I took the vehicle in for service (about 4 or 5 times). It was not until a new front desk guy who had previously worked at another vehicle brand dealership went into the shop and advised the mechanic I had different size tires on front and back that they suddenly were able to diagnose my brake issue. THIS PLACE IS A TYPICAL CAR DEALERHIP and my experience was awful. Sure would have been nice for them to own up to their mistakes. I will never use this place again.
So this place apparently no longer wants to service anything but a VW, even when it’s something as simple as mounting and balancing some tires. Have another vehicle from the VW Group brand and was providing my own tires and have used them before for this service and this year all of a sudden, they no longer do that. They want to send you to their more expensive dealership in Hilton Head for service. No doubt a Peacock ownership/management thing, so no surprise there, but it’s ABSOLUTELY bad business. If it wasn’t a VW Group brand vehicle, I’d understand it, but that’s not the case and it wasn’t even service that required specialty tools or parts. Ever since Peacock bought out this dealership, it’s been bad decisions in terms of them trying to charge more and steer people to their more expensive dealership in Hilton Head, which BTW charges the customer extra if they bring their own tires instead of buying through them. 👎
Go see George if you want to purchase a Volkswagen. He was super helpful in all aspects and very responsive to any questions. He took good care of our concerns and gave us a fair deal. Thanks George for all your help and our new Volkswagen!
If I could give a lower rating I would. I find it sad and disrespectful that during a pandemic, or just in general, that this dealerships service department could thinks its okay to rip off a front line worker (anybody for that matter) and keep their vehicle for 2 weeks, charge them thousands of dollars just for the problem not to be fixed. If I could get the vehicle out the shop and the money back I would. Simple communication and human decency is needed more than ever but the service manager (rude btw) and this dealership lacks that. With that, I have filed a corporate complaint and plan to take further action. Its quite sad actually.
