I love it here, all issues I’ve experienced so far they have handled extremely well thanks to Anna and Megan. I really wish they had a dog washing and car washing station. Overall I feel like we will be a long time resident. Alice loves the dog park and the ponds.

My experience here at Slate has been exceptional thus far. I am enamored by the staff, especially the dynamic new manager Anna Kenny and the magnanimous Meagen. Every concern or issue (though few) Ive had has been taken seriously and resolved in a respectful, timely, and professional manner. In my opinion, few and far in between are management teams in this industry that not only listen to their tenants, but also hear them and prioritize their needs. At Slate, I feel like included, safe, and valued. At Slate, I feel like family.

I am new to the area and was looking for luxury apartments when I stumbled across the slate apartments in Savannah. They’re wonderfully set up and absolutely gorgeous. They have a wonderful and helpful staff, an awesome workout/yoga space and a salt water pool. Meagen (Leasing agent) is who I spoke to and gave me all the information without beating around the bush. It’s a great community with wonderful expectations of what you’d expect from luxury apartments. I’m definitely going to love living here!

If you’re looking for a kind, helpful person. Look no further! Meagan is super helpful and will go out of her way to make you feel at home. Highly recommend asking for her help! She’s the best!

Great apartment complex, okay staff, downright abhorrent pricing. 1300 for a 583 square foot studio loft? 1600 for a 1 bedroom? Almost 2 grand for a 2 bedroom? These prices are driving people from their homes and out of the area. This is unacceptable and pretty ridiculous. Other soldiers at my unit are being forced out of their apartment here because their family cannot afford it anymore. One of them mentioned you raised her rent to over 1600 for a two bedroom and shes been living here for two years. I dont know who controls pricing, maybe some guy at a desk in Utah, but this is completely unfair. Things need to change and until they do, I wont be surprised if you have a hard time finding residents willing to be subject to extortion-level prices. Definitely one of the apartments on its way to being black-listed from soldiers.

It was the easiest rental process I have been through. Sarah and the rest of the staff made it very easy to transition into my new apartment. The grounds and buildings are very well maintained and the only service order I had was taken care of immediately. It is a great live. I would recommend it to anyone looking in the area.

I’m not one to leave many reviews unless they are positive but hopefully I can save at least one person from the updated staff/maintenance team here. I’ve been here for a few years and I’ve LOVED it but recently staff has changed to include maintenance. AND ITS GOING DOWN HILL. The new team doesn’t care about their residents- they just want the money. Not hospitable, professional, or knowledgeable about their job.

At first I really enjoyed this apartment, but now I’m fed up. The complex is well kept to the bare minimum. They only upkeep the complex when they need something bigger done. Like corporate coming in or for example, a photoshoot or drone footage being done. Just so everything looks pretty for a short period of time. The grounds is barely kept up. Pine straw hasn’t been laid in months. Feral cats are everywhere and lay on my porch constantly, that I can’t even sit on my back porch. Today they had the complex power washed, and there was so much water standing infront of my door and in the inside of my apartment, my roommate and i had to take our shoes off. The amenities are small. The gym has very old equipment. The staff is incredibly rude. They only care about getting leases signed to be able to get their commissioning. This place shouldn’t have a high rating, especially how you don’t get what you paid for.

Great place to live with nice amenities and friendly staff. They are quick to communicate and attend to any issues and get the job done right. The maintenance man Gerry is very friendly and always knows what he is doing. Very safe, clean and comfortable place to live.

You cannot beat the quality and value.These are the best apartments if you’re on a budget but still want an elegant apartment, they have excellent amenities and top notch management.The location is also extremely convenient if you’re military and want to be far away from work but not have a long commute.

Great atmosphere from the moment you pull in. The complex grounds are well taken care of, the front office staff are extremely professional and helpful. Sarah goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The units themselves are very clean, modern and well kept. The maintenance is tinley and quick to respond to service orders. I would highly recommend these apartments.

Nice apartment complex if you want to stay out of the city traffic and the noise, it’s still close to everything within few minutes drive, very clean and organized apartments and community, the staff is professional, the rate might be high but you pay for peace of mind and you get what you pay for!.Sarah she’s THE BEST!!

The slate is so beautiful and the staff is so friendly, especially Sarah! They were extremely accommodating and helpful when I first moved in. The interior of our apartment complex is very sleek and looks great! I also love that they offer a three bathroom/three bedroom which is really hard to find!

The Slate has been amazing. The apartments are new and well designed. The appliances work great. The cost is great for me as a student. The clubhouse has FREE Starbucks!!! They have a movie room, a game room and a nice pool. Sometimes they have events with food and stuff too. The gym is well equipped. The staff have been so sweet and helpful! This has been the best apartment experience I’ve ever had...and no they didn’t pay me to say this. They’re incredible 👍🏼

This place is amazing! I moved in a month ago with my roommate and we have zero complains. We didn’t know how to control the thermostat and the maintenance guys came out just to show us. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The views are gorgeous and the apartment has the latest and greatest of everything. I would definitely recommend to all.

We moved in a month ago and we love living at The Slate. The office staff is super friendly and Jerry the maintenance supervisor is simply wonderful. He is very friendly and knowledgeable he is always willing to lend a hand when needed.

I’ve lived at The Slate for almost two years now.The property is well maintained and is the leading standard of luxury living in Savannah, Georgia. The complex has many amenities that have exceeded my expectations for apartment living. For example, the property has a beautiful salt water pool that is open year around and is cleaned weekly. There is also a gym that has all modern work out equipment and treadmills.The staff throw monthly social events for residents and are quite fun! You can expect a gathering for each holiday and season.Karen is the property manager and has taken care of us since day one. She is an expert at customer service and accommodating residents; all of our questions and concerns were quickly resolved when asked about. Karen has a great vision and actively seeks to incorporate new ideas to keep the residents on their toes.When maintenance issues arise (they hardly ever do!), you can always count on the technical expertise and a speedy repair by Dakota, James and Jerry; these three are subject matter experts when it comes to their craft. They are hard working professionals and they are always willing to give a helping hand.I would recommend The Slate to anyone looking for a top notch place to call home.

Nice place like the design

Ive lived here for over a year now and I can confidently say that I recommend The Slate as a place to live. You truly cant beat the price for the quality that you get. The appliances are new, the staff is friendly, and the amenities are a big plus. Its a bit further out form savannah, but still only a ten minute drive, and the area is being built up commercially a lot more now. Ive had terrible issues with prior living situations when it came to maintenance and response times, so I was extremely please that The Slates management and maintenance live on site and respond to maintenance requests extremely fast.On a separate note I am happy that The Slate has no breed restrictions on dogs, as I know that some apartment complexes can be rather strict, especially closer to downtown. I also really appreciate that parking is free, and that there is plenty of it to go around.I live in one of the studio apartments, and one of my biggest regrets/complaints is that I didnt upgrade to one of the apartments with a balcony or outdoor area, because I dont get a lot of natural light.

My A/C had unexpectedly shut off today and Lenny and Larry on the maintenance team were out in no time to fix it. They came back to also take care of my caterpillar infestation on my porch without even asking! They were on top of it today and were super friendly.

Great place to stay. The community here is welcome and I feel satified with the maintainance service. Will recommend others to move in.

I absolutely love living here it is amazing the staff is so kind to me and my family. The staff makes a great effort to be involved with their tenants and I love that ! Weve done painting together and they host events even during COVID they have found a way to be active with us still while social distancing. All this brings us together as a community and gives us the opportunity to meet each other instead of just living as a neighbor and knowing nothing about one another at all. Something that made me fall in love with this place is that when the holidays come around and the complex gets quiet & other tenants are off visiting their loved ones the staff members here at The Slate made my family feel as though we werent missing out on holiday joys as well because they have planned something to do before or leading up to the holidays. The staff are very professional and also some of the greatest people ! I know sometimes I can load them with requests yet they are so patient and dedicated to helping me no matter what the situation ! I couldnt imagine calling another place home and I would highly recommend it to others !

I’ve lived out here for almost two years now, since they first opened and now under new management and just transferred to a three bedroom with my family expanding, baby boy on the way! The office manager Karen has been very helpful and kind since I’ve met her. The new staff is great very helpful at all times !!! I’m glad to call this place home and to be raising my daughter and son here, they have nice community events going on all the time, the gym, game area and movie theater is nice also !!! The Slate Apartments Is Awesome !!! & Maintenance comes right away when you need help with anything !!! Great place to live !!!

I have lived at The Slate for over a year now. In that past year I have had nothing but wonderful experiences. From the beautiful clubhouse, saltwater pool, to the luxurious apartments, I know I chose the best apartment complex to live in Savannah. Not only does The Slate offer top notch amenities and floor plans, but the staff is incredible. All the employees in the clubhouse are always there to answer any questions and offer assistance when needed. Karen has always been my go to person since moving in. Whether, it be for any questions I may have, or to just say hi :-)! I could not recommend a better place to live!!!

Best apartment i’ve stayed at in the past few years and 10/10 would live here in the savannah area .

My husband and I have lived at the Slate for almost 1 year and absolutely love it! The staff is always friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful. The amenities are always clean. Prior to COVID-19 the office had free starbucks coffee and almost always had fresh desserts and other snacks for the residents to munch on (miss this so much!!). I truly have nothing negative to say about The Slate.

I never lived in an apartment before, always a home owner. After moving to Savannah and searching for a place to live, the Slate Apartments are perfect. Karen and her staff have been great. The apartment is large and spacious and the maintenance is on point. Thanks Karen

Great place

It’s great living here, maintenance personnel is nice and don’t leave your apartment in a wreck, the complex is kept very clean and there’s quite a lot of amenities. Also the office staff is very nice.

The property is well and up to date! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful! I am enjoying my stay!

Great place in a good location. The manager, Karen, is very helpful along with the other office staff. The courtesy officer is very cordial and helpful any time I have spoken with him.

Update: Taylor moved to another state. Karen took over. Karen fired Thomas and it was the saddest thing I’d ever seen. Karen turned out to be a horror and I moved. Trash piled up outside doors, maintenance requests were neglected and litter in general started showing up all over the property. If she still runs this place I’m warning you now, she is not capable of being any friend of yours. Keep your distance and better yet live somewhere else.Original:The staff here is amazing. Taylor and Karen deserve credit for all of their hard work. The maintenance staff is top notch as well which includes Thomas. All three of them deserve a shout out on keeping this place running. This is definitely one of the best apartments I’ve lived in over the last 15 years of my life. Keep up the good work guys.

My fiancé and I moved into this community last March and we have loved it! It is quiet, family oriented, and ideally located between downtown Savannah and Pooler. Karen that works in the office is amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone searching for an apartment home in Savannah.

Beautiful apartments. Jade gave a great tour. Even though I didn’t lease with them (the location is farther than I wanted to commute) I definitely recommend this community.

I’ve lived at The Slate for over 2 years now and absolutely love how quick maintenance is. Recently had issues with my AC and within 20 minutes of putting in the work order I received a call from James Grizzard and he was able to get it fixed before I got home.

Apartments are very nice and spacious, walls are extremely thin you can hear everything from the first floor. The customer service has gotten really bad once new management took over. Theyre very picky on move out requirements. Before, I moved out I was told I have to have the carpet professionally clean and bring in receipt that goes for every resident pet or no pet.

I absolutely love living here! The apartments are spacious and beautiful, the amenities are awesome and the staff is incredible! Always super friendly and offering help where needed! Maintenance is always super quick to respond!!! Everything about this complex is perfect and we are so glad we chose this place as our home!

For starters, Ms.Karen has been with me from the very beginning, every step of the way with my first lease and just two months ago with renewal !!! She has been a dream come true, I wish I found her sooner . But now I have her lol . Also, Shay has answered every phone call and helped me get every work order done, Thank you so much for everything ! Last but not least, Destini is a gem, she follows up with all the answers from any question I have and helped me with my transfer and move out inspection ! This place is fantastic!!! The appartment did not have a single defect we could find. The staff is very friendly and has made the whole move in process go as smoothly as possible. Beautiful community and everyone is super friendly. We will be here for awhile.

Taylor is the nicest leasing manager Ive ever came across. Nothing but positive energy and laughter. When I took an apartment tour, I automatically knew that this was the place for my family and I. Getting my apartment was fairly easy! I recommend The Slate!

Weve lived at the Slate for about 1 month now and we love it. First off, the office staff are great. The leasing team worked with us to get us the apartment we wanted. They answered all of my many questions prior to move in regarding renters insurance, setting up utilities, etc. Our apartment is quiet and equipped with very nice amenities (expansive granite counters in the kitchen, nice new appliances, huge sink with a pull out faucet, thick cushy carpets in the bedrooms etc). Weve had a couple maintenance issues come up related to settling of the new building, all of which the office has dealt with quickly. The complex is a little removed from all the hustle and bustle, but theres a Kroger right down the road and its just a quick drive into the city. Also, the Starbucks machine in the office is clutch :) All in all, were really liking our choice to live at the Slate.

I enjoy living here its quiet comfortable employees are polite and respectful.

This is an awesome place to live. I was looking all over town for a top premium apartment complex and I found it at The Slate. The staff is outstanding and the units are beautiful with all the latest amenities.

The apartments are very nice, I will say. However, it is quite hard to get approved to live there unless you have a perfect credit score and completely clean background.
