Want to make this visible not as a customer but a neighbor of this business.My wife and I walked by W.I. Simonson Mercedes-Benz at 1626 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90403 today, around 10 AM, and witnessed someone throwing a lit cigarette on the ground. When confronted, they pointed to the many cigarettes and said they will clean it up.There is a pile of cigarettes on the ground right outside this business which suggests to me that its the employees. I tried to snap a photo of the man but he rushed inside to an office in the business before I could, so fairly sure he is an employee. Its not ok to throw trash on the ground especially lit cigarettes in CA.
I drove from the bay to LA to purchase a S class 560v4 with AMG 63 with 43k miles for a great price! 7k below market. They held the car for me knowing I was driving 6 hours, with no deposit. There was a bit of a wait once i arrived, but after being greeted immediately and offered complimentary beverages and snacks. I also arrived later than anticipated. The finance manager Marc Rose was a pleasure to work with, very up beat and fun while maintaining his focus and getting paperwork finalized quickly and efficiently. With over 15 years experience I am convinced he saved me as much as possible, offered what was necessary, and didn’t try to up sell me all day. Told me what there was, and allowed me the time i needed to make a decision, no pressure, no guilt, no annoying repetitive sales pitch. I left happy with fully gassed up, sealed inside and out, sparkling clean ride. All the staff was respectful, smiling, and informative. I had many questions, all of which were answered. Not every employee knew every answer but they certainly found the person who did know and sent them my way. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience, price, staff, and most of all my CPO Mercedes Benz!!! It was the best 6 hour drive home I’ve ever spent in a car.

I know the tech (Curt) who worked on my car in person. Hes amazing, and a true professional. I had my both side mirrors stolen and had couple other noise complaints. Its all gone now. Thank you. My service rep Mario was also very helpful.The only minus I can say was that they dealership couldnt get me a loaner, even though my car was there for almost 2 weeks, and Id hope to get a good detail thrown in after an almost $9K Insurance paid bill.

I didn’t feel pressured or that they were trying to upsell all the time - I felt in good safe hands with Marc Rose who really went through the financing quickly but thoroughly and everything was transparent. Marcus Jerry and the W.I. Simon son MB team are great. Last December 2020, I was close to the end of my lease and trying to figure out next steps. The next vehicle I want is the electric MB. Because it won’t be released until late 2021 and my current lease couldn’t be extended for more than one month, I wanted viable options, which Marcus provided. He listened to all of my concerns and, based on my future plans, the solutions he provided addressed those concerns. Ultimately, I decided to purchase my S450 and I’ll keep it until the new electric MB is released. Of course, I will purchase my new car at W.I. Simonson!The atmosphere at W.I. I am not very responsible when it comes to keeping up with servicing needs so I was so grateful to not only receive reminders via email, but to also receive personal phone calls and emails from one of their representative, not only reminding me, but also offering to facilitate in any way. So, I got into a car crash and totaled my BMW. I was so sad as I absolutely loved that car. I started my long and arduous search online for my next car/family member. I went and test drove a few cars and then I went to W.I. Simonson Mercedes-Benz. I had a list of cars I wanted to test drive. The first person I met with was Souharda Poudyal. He was very friendly and laid-back. Exactly my speed. I told him what I was looking for and gave him my list of cars. He said hed get the keys to every car and we could test them all. He made it so easy. The last car I drove I fell for. It was the one. Told him Id be back tomorrow to get the car. The following day I met with Farshad. He was also very kind and incredibly helpful. They had my car detailed and ready to go. Last I met with Marc in finance. This was the highlight of the entire experience. To say he went above and beyond for us is an understatement. He was so friendly and helpful. He reminded me of my favorite uncle with his friendly and playful personality. He really did everything he could to get us a great deal and make our car buy perfect. He even recommended some amazing local food joints as he shared our love of food. Seriously, he knows all the best spots. At the end I was just so happy I chose this place to buy my car. Had a good experience at dealership, told them what I wanted and price I was willing to pay. Better experience here than at other Sonic MB dealerships such as Calabases. Finance was exceptional and very helpful. I’m the type if guy who buys every package and warranty. Dumb I know.However, after sales service is lacking. Can’t pair my car with Mercedes Me Connect features which allow remote start etc as I purchase vehicle pre owned. Online Mercedes Me call center says dealer issue and dealer is blaming Mercedes Me. Honestly it’s all a joke when the app clearly indicates that the dealer needs to remove previous ownership and Mercedes Me can’t link my profile cause they can’t prove I am in possession of the car.After sales customer service is lacking

This car was for my son. I worked with Marcus Jerry. This is the fourth car I have purchased from him over several years and the experience is always pleasant. Due to COVID we negotiated via text and all the paperwork was waiting for me when I arrived at the dealership and the car was detailed and ready to go. In and out in less than an hour. Great way to buy a vehicle and we are already working on a deal for my next car! Editing this original post to add that Marcus found the car with the exact specs I wanted for myself, which he refers to as the unicorn as I wanted designo leather interior. and 99.9% of the cars are MBTex We negotiated over the phone, did paperwork online and the car was delivered on Monday morning

Tim Hernandez was able to resolve 2 major issues for me. 1) I was having a battery failure issue--and he was able to deal with it on the spot, replace the battery and get me out the door within an hour. 2) I had a much trickier problem, which had to do with a set of new tires that I had purchased within the last 3 months at another MB dealership out of state. The tires had worn incredibly poorly and needed to be replaced with only about 3,500 miles of wear. Tims technical and business expertise enabled him to quickly decipher the nature of the problem with the tires--and then, he participated in a conversation that I initiated with the out-of-state dealer to resolve what could have been a really complicated and unpleasant issue with unbelievable finesse. He was a total gentlemen, not only in dealing with me, but also in dealing with the out-of-state dealership. Tim has a unique and masterful ability to communicate in a very positive and disarming fashion. As a result, he was able to resolve the issue in a totally professional manner that was fair and equitable to all parties. Honestly, if he werent such an asset to your organization, Id say we should send the guy to the Middle East--he is really great at conflict resolution. I look forward to continuing my business relationship with Simonson--and continuing to have Tim as my service manager. Ive always held the Simonson Service Center in the highest professional regard--but, this experience with Tim has taken it to a new standard. Thank you!
I went in for an A1 service. My check engine light was on and they wanted to charge me $200 for a diagnostic. I asked why the charge for something so simple. They said it’s an hour of labor cost... O’riley auto parts did it for free and within 15 seconds. Ridiculous. Will never come back to this service center. Rip off.

Bought a 2018 E300, Salesman Sam was calling and calling to get the sale, he was very helpful then. Once I walked out of the door, we we had a few minor problems, but never heard from him again. Called him several times and he never responded. We would have been repeat customers. Very disappointed bad service as a sales person.
In 20 years history of buying cars this was pretty much the worst possible experience : we have found car on dealer website, we called to confirm the car is still for sale, we have asked dealer to please put the car on the side for one hour - that’s the time to get to the dealer . Dealer ensured us the car is on side . We arrived to the dealer test drove the c350e, after test drive dealer rep Navid - informed us “I’m sorry the car most likely will sell there is someone now running credit “ . I will bring this up to gen management and Mercedes usa . Bait cash buyer to the dealer just to show them car and say it’s sold !! We asked you to hold it for one hour . The worst experience in my whole car life . Wife left in tears

I bought a certified pre-owned car from this dealership. They promised me that everything is working great and the car has no issues at all. After I made my purchase I noticed that there are a lot of issues in the car, touch pad is not working, inside of two door bars are broken and flapping needs to be changed, and some other minor problems which you dont want to see after you just bought the car. I spoke to my sales guy Sean and he only says sorry to all of this and advises me to take it to the service. Well thank you for the advise Sean! That is a horrible after sales experience. This was my first and last time, I will never buy a car from this dealership ever again.

I have serviced my CLS 500 starting in 2006 followed by a ML 350 in 2008 at Mercedes Benz in Santa Monica without any problem. I went back to buy a GLE 350 in 2020. Sales department is excellent however the service department is the worse I have ever experienced. They returned my car with black stains on the driver seat and more black stains on the interior. I am in shock how careless the technicians are. Service advisor Tony took care of the leather seat with some chemical treatment. I noticed more stains after I left the service department. I called the service manager twice and left two messages with the person who answered the phone. I never received a call back. If you want your car to be stained by careless workers this is the place to take your car.
I’ve been going to WI SIMONSON for 40 years I wouldn’t take my Mercedes to any other dealership. The service is excellent Service writers are very professional. I have never left there after service unhappy. Frankly speaking I live very nearby to another authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership but I choose to drive to Santa Monica and WI SIMONSON for all the care they have given me over the years.

Terrible experience yet again. They make you wait and hold your car hostage for something so simple. Took them two days to reset a sensor. Then they tried and charge us for made up problems. It’s obvious this dealership has no communication or organization. This is the absolute worst dealership I’ve ever encountered. I would never recommend anyone take they’re car here.

I was looking for the new model, very difficult to find Mercedes Benz 2018 GLE AMG 43 Coupe, in white. My search included nearly every Mercedes Benz dealership in Southern CA, at which time I discovered that W.I. Simonson MB possibly had the vehicle I was looking for! So I finally wanted to get a newer car and I found it here at Simonson Mercedes of Santa Monica . I would recommend anyone looking for a new or used car to visit them . My sales consultant, Navi, was super polite, knowledgeable and professional . Navi and the finance manager made the whole experience super fast and easy .
