Jay and the crew are world class and honest mechanics. I am so incredibly sad that they closed but Jay I wish you the best. You deserve it. As a woman is hard to find a mechanic that won’t screw you over left and right or at least try to. I know a bit about cars and Jay would always treat me with respect and sometimes like a daughter, scolding me when my tires were too worn down. I’ll miss ya but I know you’re happy now! (Also I did get new tires, no need to worry anymore :-))

I highly recommend Jays. I came here with an issue that I thought was huge, Erick diagnosed it as a simple fix, and didnt charge me too much for it. He could have easily took advantage of me because I dont know much about cars, but he was very honest. I sent my wife here with her car, and Jay helped her out. Both Jay and Erick are reliable and professional.

I recently moved from Santa Monica, but came to Jays for several years. I first came when the dealership quoted me $800+ for my 30,000 mile service on my WRX and Jays quoted me about 30% of that price. At the time I just came for the cost savings, but it turns out they are also some great mechanics and great people.I take my car on all kinds of foolish missions on bumpy dirt roads that beat it up, but Eric has always taken it in stride and has been clear and forthcoming about necessary fixes versus unnecessary fixes. I took my car here for every oil change and preventative maintenance, knowing I could trust them and that they werent trying to sell me work that I didnt need. At one point I drove my car through deep water and was sure I had killed it, but Jays was able to fix it up while working with my pain-in-the-ass insurance company to get me on the road as quickly as possible for a long road trip. Eric in particular was very communicative and worked hard to get payment from my insurance company. My car has been running great ever since and I wish I could take them with my on my move to Seattle!

Took in a car I was thinking about purchasing for a prepurchase inspection. The guys were very thorough in inspecting the car they were polite and They explained everything that was wrong with the car and They also explained to me how much the cost was for each item that was wrong with the car to be fixed. They also advised that I ask for a discount off the price for the damages or have them fix them in the purchase agreement .
