Bruce are Rod are great guys and make you feel super welcome. These guys stopped at nothing and got my car fixed in no time at all for much cheaper than I expected. They even went above and beyond in letting me keep my car there when I had to leave on an urgent trip. Bruce even offered to let me come back to get my car checked before I go try to pass smog again. Theyre honest, fair, welcoming, and get the job done. You cant go wrong with bringing your car here.

I have used Morris automotive for decades and many different types of cars. Dave himself is a Master Diagnostician and when my whole mechanical world is mystified, Dave can figure it out. Morris Automotive did some weird cleaning out of my cars internal system 2 years ago and my 1999 Toyota Celica GT with 247,000+ miles on it sailed through smog test with better numbers than ever. I was doubtful at first but it improved performance for reals, not just a rip off add on. Morris Motors has never recommended things I don’t need. When Dave retires I’m going to stop driving.

The truck interior was completely cleaned and vacuumed when I picked up the vehicle. This shop runs under great ownership with superior management and experienced mechanics. They were wonderful. Very kind, everyone greeted me as they passed. I never felt like I was being talked down to and all processes were explained prior to taking any action. I was especially appreciative that they didnt try to upsell me on anything, but offered to take care of anything I may need in the future, even top off of fluids. They also graciously offered to pick me up from home so I didnt have to wait for a ride over to pick up my car. I would absolutely give them my business again.

The staff were quick to help and sorted the problem for an affordable price quickly.As a travelling lady I like to hold on to my dollar.i didnt leave this garage feeling out of pocket.

I got in a small accident not long before the shelter in place order went into effect. I had taken my vehicle to another garage right after the accident, and it ended up sitting there for just over two weeks. During this time that garage did not open up my vehicle to check out the damage and spent a long time looking for parts before finally telling me that they couldn’t get the parts to fix my 2007 Saturn in all of California.I called up Morris Automotive for a second opinion, and Bruce told me right away that he could get the parts. I had my vehicle towed over to Morris the next day, Bruce had the parts by the end of that day, and I got my vehicle back the very next day. The price I paid was even cheaper than I had expected. Morris Automotive had my back when I thought I had completely lost my car in the middle of a pandemic. I highly recommend this garage.

I have a story I like to tell everyone I recommend him to : 20 years ago, I had a ‘66 Mustang and something sounded really bad, so I brought it to a mechanic who told me it was my axle and it was going to cost me $500.00. I wanted a second opinion and went to Dave Morris who was highly recommended to me...He looks at my car and says : “It’s the rim- $12 dollars.” Wow! That was it for me! I have a 4 Runner with an absurd number of miles. It had, after 20 years, started to run rough in stop-and-go traffic and had briefly stalled on three occasions. My previous mechanic could find nothing wrong and suggested I bring it back when the problem was worse. Instead, I took it to this place, which had been recommended by a friend who also owned a 20 year-old Toyota. My truck now runs like new or, at least, how it ran a couple hundred thousand miles ago.

Morris Automotive is awesome - wish I had discovered them sooner! They fixed my car and charged me HALF of what was quoted to me by Santa Monica Lexus dealership service center for the exact same work (leaking cv boot). Plus, the guys at Morris Automotive are all genuinely nice, knowledgeable, and most importantly, TRUSTWORTHY!! Bruce was great to deal with. So glad I found them; they will help take good care of my car for a long time.

Auto repair shops aren’t generally known for giving discounts and incredible service...until now. I called around to five shops and Bruce made me feel like the Prius would be as good as new for a fair and reasonable price. Sure enough, they did just that and I am grateful. As if that wasn’t enough, Jesus (a diamond in the rough who also happens to be a Mexican healer with mad skills) drove my toddler and me home in the Prius (so I didn’t have to uninstall the car seat) and picked us up the next day. I can’t possibly sing the praises of Morris Automotive enough. Thank you for fixing the Prius after it was broken into, for not charging me an arm and a leg, and for doing it all with smiles, courteous service, and much compassion. If only all businesses could follow this model, what a world this would be...

They seemed to do a great and thorough job on my front brakes. But maybe because I have an older car the engine job still has some problems. I feel they should just tell me what else needs to be done or its just too old to repair. It has oil leaks. Overall I think Dave the owner tries to be fair and make every job good. Theyre still offering to help if they can. I feel they are honest and willing to make every job they do good.

I cannot praise this business enough. I was in town for the afternoon using a borrowed car. They squeezed me in and diagnosed/documented the issue and applied a temporary fix so that I could return home that evening. I was even provided with the melted spark plug that had been the source of the trouble. Brilliant customer service and care!

Bruce was really great on the phone and in person. Made me feel like they were in total control and not going to try to take advantage of my pocket! Left my car there, I had to go to work. Received a phone call from Bruce and letting me know what the issue was with my car and how much it would be. Very next day I got another phone call saying my car was ready. He even made sure to give me my AAA discount. Will totally take my car back for anything that needs to be fixed. So painless.

I have visited many a mechanic but nothing compares to the superb service at Morris Automotive. It starts with Bruce. I felt cared for from start to finish. He was determined - along with his crew - to find the problem with my vintage Toyota Camry. And, they didnt disappoint!

Car started sputtering on the PCH and I called AAA. I had the choice to pay $180 to have it towed near my home, or to have it towed to a AAA station and have it done there. I chose Morris Automotive. I was given a quote and they charged me less than their quote. They gave me a time to completion and finished ahead of schedule. Ahead of time and under budget, Cant beat that!People were friendly and I got to speak to Dave Morris. I asked Dave how he got started with his own shop. He told me that he had worked at dealerships and other shops and he didnt like how they did business so he started his own shop about 30 years ago. Based on my experience, I like how Dave runs his business. They also had some nice classic cars for sale. If I lived in this area, these guys would be my mechanics.

Had my 2016 Lexus LS 460 serviced-changed oil, etc. It took a little over an hour. I drove away and when I stopped at a red light I felt vibrations. When I drove it was ok, when I stopped, with foot on brake and in drive, the vibration was awful, there was also unusual noise as well. I drove back to Morris, they looked it over, and told me that if it didn’t stop, I should bring it back. After driving on and off for 2 hours, it stopped and is fine.I called them and told them it was OK.The men who work there are cordial, attentive, and pleasant.
