As a contractor myself, I’ve worked with Reliable on several projects in the past. Knowing their quality of work, when I needed work on my own home I knew who to call. Arrived on schedule. Diagnosed to problem and fixed it quickly. Travis was friendly and helpful and answered my questions. I would recommend them to anyone.

Reliable Air showed up because my AC was leaking, drain line needed to be cleared. They looked at the AC unit, never touched it. There was a $69 service fee to come out to the house where they told me it would cost an additional almost $300 to blow compressed air into the drain line and add a chemical to clear the line better. That amount seemed like way too much for that service and could of been told to me over the phone when I asked rather than paying a $69 service fee to come tell me in person. I sent them on their way and won’t be using their service again.

A/C broke down in this Texas heat. I called on a Friday and repairman called and was tight on time, the same day! The cost to replace and install the fan motor seemed a bit high at around $620. But still thankful for the timely response and professionalism of Reliable air!

Dang is a conscientious technician and frankly a good salesman lol. I didn’t however receive a receipt for service (and I bought a 2 visit package so need something to show for it)Update: company quickly emailed receipt. All good!

The a/c until died, yet we were blamed for not changing a filter I just changed in June! It’s July! They don’t want to accept responsibility for the fact that they have no clue of what they’re doing. And the fact that the technician left without even giving us any details. Just hopped in the vehicle and left.

This place is a hot mess. Schedule service on my HVAC system and the day of the appointment they cancel. A week later they try to arrive before the schedule appointment told the technician no you cant be here before 1:00 (appt was schedule from 1 - 3). The technician checks my system out says its in good working order. I tell him that the primary drain line is clogged please unclog it. Tells me its all good. Pay him $199. fast forward to a day later and the primary drain line is still clogged. Very disappointed. Not interested in continue an business relationship. Will not recommend them to anyone.

We used Reliable during the winter storm. The gentlemen who came out was super professional and courteous. During the first black out, the capacitor went out on our heater. The technician replaced it, and when I asked him how much I owed him he said not to worry about it and to just put that money towards some future maintenance I was needing to get done on my unit. You could tell he was tired and had had a long day. He was still pleasant and empathetic to the whole situation. It was refreshing to see that a company isnt necessarily always just in it to make a profit, but in this case it was there to help. They earned a life long customer.

Very poor operation led by a very poor team if in fact it can be called that. Scheduled an appt and upon arrival the tech said he needed more manpower and left. The service manager Tom called me and stated they were too busy to do the job we had clearly explained to them the day prior. He was a very rude individual with horrible communication skills. The receptionist and Tom said they would refer us to a company that possibly could do the job. We never heard back feom them at all. This entire situation was on a friday prior to a holiday weekend and left my family without a/c until the following week. I must add my wife is seven months pregnant. Needless to say we will never use this company again nor refer them ever. It woyld be nice if in fact it was run as they describe it on the web....as a family run company. My family would have been very grateful for their so called family to help us out.

I call RA and they were able to get someone out within the hour!Danny the tech was professional and did a diagnostic on our system.We had an other company come out and gave us a bid from $4,000 to $8,000 for repairs and system replacement. I highly recommend Reliable Air Ive used them the last couple of years especially because they are local and so friendly. Edgar is polite and obviously knowledgeable. He told me how the system is working and gave me a heads up on any potential issues without being pushy.

He inspected the inside unit of our heat pump, then the outside. Just had Danny come out and give us a quote. He was super polite, explained what needed to be done and why it was important. After he left he emailed us a quote with the breakdown and total cost. He also called and gave an ETA before he arrived. We really appreciated the honesty and punctuality.

Toby came out for a scheduled followup service inspection and found an issue on one of the air handlers. He finished inspections on the rest of the systems, went back to their shop for parts, came back within an hour to replace them and checked operation. All under warranty! Edgar was awesome. He examined all features of my furnace and air conditioner, went to the attic and serviced the drain line. Change the filter and checked that the thermostat was accurate. On top of that he was very polite and personable!!

Well i will say this team and company did a great job in removing my old ac unit and adding a new unit. The salesman Mitchell wright was a very good salesman in answering my question and concerns . My 15 year old home a/c unit went out and it was time for a replacement. Jeremy and Junior were assigned to install my system. They called me prior to my appointment time to let me know when to expect them and they showed up as stated. They were respectful, courteous and professional. They diligently worked 7-8 hours straight without taking lunch to install my home a/c system. They did an outstanding job installing both the outside a/c unit and the furnace upstairs. Edger did a thorough job and was knowledgeable. He wanted to clean my condenser but is was to expensive. I can do it myself for a lot less.

I got billed for $411 for splicing 3 feet of low voltage thermostat wire. total diagnostic and repair time was 1.5 hour. I spoke to two other contractors and they said diagnostics and repair for this should have never exceeded $150 unless the wire is made out of gold.There is something wrong with Reliable air pricing. I caved and payed for it Because the technician Danny rushed me to pay because he had to go home at 10:30 am. He was 30 minutes late to the appointment.Don’t work if you are rushing to go home.Very unhappy with price and customer Service.I spoke to one of their managers Craig. The guy is a total waste of my time and unprofessional. They will hit you with a huge bill. Stay away.

Discovered our A/C was out at 6:45 one evening. Called Reliable Air and Danny called me back within 20 minutes. He said he needed to finish up a job and was at my house by 8:30 pm. Developed plugged a/c drain line inside home early Friday afternoon before Labor Day weekend; my home warranty company could not provide service until Tuesday, another local company scheduled me for Saturday, I called Reliable Air in San Marcos, they had Toby onsite within 2 hours, completed the job quickly, professionally and courteously, providing me updates along the way. Can’t leave a review with no starsWell not feeling like I got a good deal.Called for service after my coil froze up.Tech came out and hooked up to outside unit and said I need Freon. I asked how much and it was $200+ for first pound and $89 each additional. Wasn’t happy with the price, but need air conditioning. Put in three plus pounds then said we need to check inside coil. Looked at coil and said oil in there meant a leak. OkSo my question is why didn’t he look there before putting in the Freon?? That would have been $49 service call.Cost $400 plus on an air conditioner that needs to be replaced...

Our AC quit working on a Sunday and I contacted Reliable Air. Within minutes Alan contacted me and told me he would be at my house within a couple hours. When he arrived he was professional, kind, and we knew we were in good hands. He fixed our AC and was out in 45 minutes. Best of all we had no outrageous service call fee and saved us money. We definitely will use Reliable Air again and highly recommend them for your heating and air conditioning needs!

Im in the construction business and my own people installed my home AC unit. The AC stopped cooling at about 10pm on Friday of a Holiday weekend. I knew all my guys were unavailable, so I called reliable at 8:00am on Saturday morning. The technician arrived about 2 hours later, was competent and polite and quickly diagnosed the problem to be a failed capacitor. He had the part on his vehicle and had the unit running cool in about 15 minutes. The cost wasnt cheap - but reasonable under the circumstances. Wont hesitate to call them in the future.

My ac tune up was scheduled between 9 and 10 am. I got a call at 8:20 that Edgar was 20 minutes out. Loved that I didnt have to wait. Edgar was very thorough in his checkup inside and out and even though they give you an invoice with the inspection and a detailed list of what he did, he still explained it to me. He was very friendly and had a great attitude.

I work for a manufactured housing dealer in Waco, TX. I called Reliable Air to service an AC unit that was installed on a home that we had delivered to San Marcos. They were able to get someone out there in a couple of hours and diagnose/fix the issue. I highly recommend them!!

I have to tell you, I found these guys through their great Google reviews, and they deserve every bit of them. Had an issue with an air conditioning unit on memorial day weekend 2019 at one of my vacation rentals. I had a tech named Toby contact me only a few minutes after I had contacted the main number, and he was amazingly prompt, professional, courteous, and kept in touch with me the entire time before he arrived. It is getting rarer and rarer these day to have companies with employees that are so professional. After arriving he was capable of quickly diagnosing the problem, repairing it, communicating clearly and was well mannered the entire time. This company is first class, and Toby is a big reason why. I will not use another company again so long as they keep up this level of professionalism.

Edgar, from Reliable Air just finished our Spring check up on our Heat Pumps. He was very professional, polite and personable. He was very nearly dressed and made sure he had covers on his shoes every time he entered the house. He kept me up to date on what he was doing and finished in a reasonable time. I will request him every time.

We lost our air conditioning at about 6 PM. We called Reliable Air and got Edgar on the phone. He gave the quote for after hours service vs. regular hours service and after I agreed to the $ difference, he said he would be there in an hour. He was prompt, quickly found the issue and gave the quote for the replacement part and service install. He had the parts and had the AC running within the hour. Edgar was very knowledgeable and personable. Hopefully we dont have any issues in the near future, but, if we do...I will ask for Edgar!
