Very rude staff, Worst gym I’ve been to in San Fransisco. After visiting more than 6-7 24 fitness gyms before. (Worst Gym in San Fransisco)No one recommends such a terrible customer service place with staff who are only robbing people with money on the long term.
Worst gym in SF. Worst Customer Sevice. Worst management. Most dirty place. Be aware, this corporation is charging all current customers who didn’t come in-person to cancel their accounts.Front desk has been close, receptionist doesn’t pick up the phone and membership cant be cancel online...How are we supposed to cancel a membership if they can’t even provide customer service to do so?Sam, the manager and the girl at the front are extremely unprofessional. Also the manager Sam at this location likes to hide in the back acting like he is on lunch instead of doing his job.
City Sports in general is always very clean! On the main level floor you show your vaccination card after scanning your membership card and then you can head downstairs to the lockers and pool area or go upstairs for all the free weights or specific non cardio machines. Even with the amount of people there was, the gym didnt have any sweat smell, rather it smelled clean which is something I really ppreciate!
Great experience with Alex and all the workers up front. Everyone is nice. Very clean, spacious and organized environment to work out in. Also there is a pool here. Great rates. I definitely recommend for people looking for a regular gym. I like much more than the 24 hour fitness gyms I’ve been.
This gym is great. The services are fantastic, the machinery is top and the atmosphere is good. Exceptional support with helpful workers, super clean and relaxing gym for everyone, from beginners to professional athletes. If I had to rate it, it would be a five-star.
Terrible customer service. I was invited from a friend to VIP pass and we spent 20 min in the front desk trying to solve and nothing! So compelling and frustrating.Gym is ok. Swimming pool is small, only 3 lanes.
The first gym I’ve ever gone to consistently. All the staff are super nice, the gym and facilities are always clean, and they’ve been super responsible to follow covid restrictions. 10/10!
LADRONES - ESTAFADORES.Good afternoon, my name is Willy Chavez and I’m a LA fitness member since long ago. While I was working in San Francisco I had to pay a subscription with you guys, something really odd because is the same company, well this massage is to ask you why you keep charging me that membership monthly? I already cancel it because I don’t live in San Francisco anymore but you guys keep charging me for no reason. In brief you been stealing my money, you guys are thieves! I going to talk to whoever I have to talk to end this little game of you. There are going to be big consequences. Really disappointed with you thieves.
Always very clean, not too crowded, good pricing and friendly staff. i’ve been going to this gym consistently for 5 years and i have nothing bad to say!
The gym equipment is new, and the gym is nice and spacious. At the beginning of 2020 however, I decided I no longer needed the membership and cancelled online.Over a year later today, I discovered that they have been charging me, and are refusing to give me a refund!Dont deal with this club. They are snakes.
Clean, sauna and pool are open! I love the studio too:)
Staff was polite but the facility is shabby fir being so new.
Have been going to this gym for over the period of two years and can make something very clear.Unless you know what you’re doing, this gym is not for you.Though despite realizing that not all coaches at the gym are there to personally guide you, most of the time, there is never anybody to help you out with some tips or anything of that sort.On top of this, when you first register, you are going to get the most sugar coated coaching training, that won’t even last your first day stay at the gym. I tried getting some advice afterwards but were always given this annoying glance by the workers of like “oh is this guy serious or what?”.To make things worse, the area where you first get your training, is ACTUALLY, off limits to customers who are either here not the first time/ unless you have a coach. To put it bluntly, unless you have their coaching membership, which is EXPENSIVE, you are not worthy enough to get their help.Tho the only reason why I chose this gym over the local YMCA, is only because of them having more space and having punching bags. But after over a year of this animal like disrespectful treatment, I do wonder if those punching bags were only the appetizer (joking of course).Regardless, if you’re a looking into this gym during Covid, just don’t. Just go for a walk.
Theres a reason why all the bad reviews have likes while the positive ones sound fake and made up.
Please dont let ppl wearing shoes walk inside the swimming pool
Great place to work out.Very good professional gym.It works for me.
Friendly staff! Awesome equipment! Plenty of Free weights! Cant wait for the pool to open back up!hELLA HUNG #54 on Netflix 100 HUMANS
Theres a reason why all the bad reviews have likes while the positive ones sound fake and made up.
TERRIBLE STAFFOne of the worst gyms you can go to in SF.
If youre planning to work out with bars and bench like actual weightlifting forget about this gym. They have three bars thats always taken there is an hour wait for the bars and benches. If youre into cycling and treadmill they have like 200 machines that always empty. Its a funny thing. 😄
Staffs are not super super nice but it is a great place to work out. i took the personal training once and it was a great experiences. they did a great job on going over ur health and help u plan ur workout journey. you will learn a lot about your body and trainers are really patient with explaining everything. Nice place with enough air to breath when other gyms celling are too low and feel suffocated. they need to remodel some of the machines for overall business improvement.
Love this location but too many people
I like this gym personally.....dirty?. Idk about dirty theres always someone cleaning. But for the staff I think there okay. I mean this is not the equinox so what treatment do you want. If your bougee go to a bougee gym.
Worst customer service. They don’t respond when you want to cancel membership or freeze membership. They tell us to contact through email. They respond to emails after 2 weeks. Don’t join
The place has lock of management I have been reporting that the hot tub is not hot for more than 5 times all they tell me is that they will let know the manager, disappointed frustrated we will cancel membership soon, not professional
Called City Sport SF to cancel a membership. Spoke to someone who said I can only call and cancel with a manager (which was not on duty supposedly when I called). I was told to email my request, which I did with no response. I called again to attempt to cancel during week when a manager was supposed to be on duty. The phone rang for 30 minutes with no answer! Eventually I got tired of waiting for an answer so I ended up calling another club to request the cancellation. So not only did the first person waste my time, but I had to keep calling and probably ended up getting stuck in another billing cycle due to the unresponsiveness of the person responsible for the email inbox I was given.
I was charged last month out of the blue when they opened without a courtesy call. I called and told them to stop charging me and refund me because I dont feel safe going to the gym right now. They refused to refund me and gave me an email to write to so I can cancel. I emailed to cancel, ever went to my account online and cancelled and, lo and behold, I was charged AGAIN for October! Now I am on the phone trying to get through to someone and it is going through a voice automated loop.NOT OKAY City Sports. NOT OKAY.
So far its ok. It has not been crowded during weekday from 8am-10am. Still yet to experience Friday morning. Rating is pending....
I always get the day pass and this is one of the better values for gyms in San Francisco. The yoga classes are good. The pool area seems like it can use some renovations. Nice variety of workout equipment.
Ive been to 5 different City Sports in the Bay Area. This was my first time to this one since the pandemic hit. Its by far one of the dirtiest gyms Ive ever been to. Like, it really looks like there isnt even an attempt to clean up or organize. Regardless, this gym has weights and machines for you to work out and get back in shape.
I was a member here for about two years. The place is always dirty. No one puts the weights back (customers or staff) and, most infuriatingly, there is simply no way to contact them. They refuse to answer their phone. Their Facebook page hasnt been updated since 2013. If theres an email I cant find it. It might be the poorest customer service Ive ever seen.
Background Music is too loud guys
I signed up for a one week trial online and was called multiple times by someone called Ryan. I told him that I was a member in 2017 and asked if that would impact anything. He said not to worry and told me to come into the gym. When I got there, they said that I can’t get a pass and immediately tried to sell me a 2 year deal. Not only did they waste my time but the customer service Is laughable.
The bang for your buck is what City Sports is all about. My body has changed for the better. I am motivated when I walk in. And when there are issues, which any place that is as busy as a gym is, them seems to be resolved quickly.
Best in town
It is none of your business !!!
Great location and great staff - Jasdeep was a pleasure to work with. Big facility and was not too busy when I went during lunch hour. Would recommend this place to a friend
Poor customer service. Tried cancelling by following online instructions before the next billing date, with NO follow-up response. Tried cancelling in-person but they told me to come the next day 6am to 3pm for refunds. I come the next day and they tell me refunds are only for cancellations before the billing date. If they knew that, why did they ask me to come back the next day?
I just discovered the spin classes and they’re pretty great. Unfortunately over all the gym could be cleaner and it’s super crowded. However for the price. This place is a steal.
I have a registered free 5 days pass by an online and visited to the City sports club. But they said activation takes 24hrs. Don’t waste my time. Thanks.
Good luck getting a barbell for anything .. this management allows people to pretty much take them for hours. Easy fix..buy more barbells for each one of your stations..the fact that all 3 of your benches never have them because others are off squatting with them is a joke..this is SF Im sure you can afford 6 more bars
I’m currently city sport member, rules so tricky so hard, seems like they just want invite here than surprise charges by charges from you bank account a lot of service fee and any fees, when come to this gym nobody tell you first about that fees, very bad and poor costumer service. Definitely not recommend this gym
Theres too little equipment, too few stations, and you will never be able to get in a good workout for this reason. Lots of missing items. No pads for squat rack. No weight clips -anywhere- and missing bars. Three bench press stations? Not on your life. Theres only two, because the third bar is always somewhere else being used or just missing. Ive been coming here for three months and rarely can ever get in a bench press. The mens locker room just smells foul. Always. You have to bring your own locks, and evidence of break in theft is frequent, with broken particle board where a flimsy locker door latch used to be.The sad thing is, even for the fee you will pay, which is reasonable (only reason why this review is getting two stars) -- its still not a good value, because you cant get in an effective work out and find some fresh annoyance or another whenever you try to. A good gym is one where you can be energized by your surroundings and focus on your fitness, and unfortunately, the environment at City Sports Club works totally against this.
I was planning on buying a membership for 2 months and figured I’d get the membership that has a minimum cancellation date of 2 months. The gentleman helping me out failed to tell me there was an annual fee of $50 the day I’m allowed to cancel my membership. I also failed to read the fine print in the contract so it is also my fault. This is a shady place run by shady people and I hope you will all be smart when buying a membership.
Keep charging fees, keep charging the fees! Even We froze our account. Tomorrow will go to cancel the account. After 3pm, there are no staffs work with membership. Bad experience.
Its alright though. There are a few shady tactics like overwhelminly aggressive marketing, and fine print like the annual fee that they charge and very conveniently dont show nowhere except the whole block of agreement text, sure. Also, the pool and the lockers are most of the time pretty disgusting, and I have heard from multiple female friends that the girls locker room significantly so.
Love this gym!!! The classes are awesome, instructors that Ive had so far are 10/10. Especially Jaylah teaching spin (shes got the best music selection and is really encouraging) the cardio kick boxing instructor is no joke, she’ll make you sweat, and Monday morning yoga teacher does a great job even with a full class. They have a sauna, swimming pool, and three floors with plenty of space for whatever your workout needs might be. For the price I feel like you get a lot. Stoked to call this my gym! Parking is hard to find during busy hours, but Ive always found something if I just keep circling. The staff here are also on point.
Membership service here is unprofessional and shady. I tried to use a 7 day pass here and the guy at membership said for it to “make it worth it” I had to give him contact info for 15 referrals. I thought he was joking but unfortunately he wasn’t.Join at your own risk but membership department employs at least one clown.
Soap dispensers consistently empty, equipment sanitation liquid consistently empty. This is first thing in the morning too, so it’s not because it’s busy.
If youre looking for a cheap, no frills gym, this is a good option. Bathrooms and equipment are kept pretty clean, classes are taught by good instructors, and there is usually equipment open. The reason for the 3 stars is:1) Basketball court was built right above the yoga studio...if you enjoy yoga or any classes in a quiet space do not get a membership here. Balls are constantly bouncing over your head and music cant block out the sound.2) There arent many classes offered after 5/6pm or on weekends3) They make it pretty difficult to cancel your membership - you either have to go in Mon-Fri 9-5pm (wont work for anyone with a normal working schedule) or fill out a form and mail it to headquarters (all the while youre paying for your membership).Overall, youre getting what you pay for so its not a bad deal.
This gym is newly remodeled and it looks really nice. I wish the type of equipment provided was more similar to its other locations, but its not a bad selection. Paper towels and sanitizer are usually empty and the staff is seemingly only friendly when theyre trying to sell you something. Other than that theyre really only good for scanning your member card and even then half the time there doesnt seem to be anybody at the front desk.
Minimally open to capacity
Love this gym.
The employees was kind enough for a guests friend to try out. Thanks bud! Lots of option to work out and stuff. Pretty cool atmosphere. Love the place.
Definitely one of the nicest, biggest gyms in the city, and the membership is cheap! all the equipment is new, theres a basketball court and a pool. plus theres a huge parking lot because its next to the mall. Kids care is only $10/month for unlimited drop ins! overall a great, new gym. and they have awesome personal trainers.
Mostly clean, nice locker room and cardio area. Lifting? Or interesting in any serious training involving an Olympic bar? Take it else where. Waiting time for squat rack approx 30min, and after watching someone’s stretching/warm up routine, I can see why. I finished my whole leg day routine with squats substituted with a BB before the jokester using the squat rack even started lifting. Also, like many other reviewers said, not enough bars to train chest/legs.
They need to work on keeping the place clean and stock. Womens restroom is always out of toilet paper, should be kept well and better service.Other City Sports location are cleaner than this location and the people that works at this location are not customer service orientated.
This gym was in complete disarray. There were weights and trash scattered all over the floor. It also smelled incredibly bad
Terrible service and administration. I only bought the membership from Sep. to Jan. As I asked what I should do before my membership’s gonna end, the staff at the front desk said I don’t have to do anything. So I just believed him with the assumption that the membership will automatically terminate. However, it still charge me another month’s fee! The manager just insisted that she didn’t see my cancellation record on her notebook, so she cannot refund the extra charge back to me. And saying she had helped me canceled but I can still use the gym until April without paying the March. What the hell, I was planning that I may move away on Jan, how can I use it!? She didn’t listen to me at all! How come the staff booked my membership totally different from what I said. hate the cheating stuff!
If you want an inexpensive place to work out & dont care about being a member of a multi million dollar train wreck in progress, this place is for you. The owners dont care about keeping the club clean or maintained. I have been a member for the last few months & have never once seen anyone cleaning the bathrooms, showers or pool area. In fact just today, I entered right upon opening at 8.00 am (which is another problem-the hours dont cater to morning people) and to my utter amazement the bathrooms were filthy. (Ill spare you the details as its to gross to relive) That means no one cleaned the night before. Not to mention the filth & water build up around the pool & hot tub areas. Watching oblivious members swash through the puddles with there shoes was extremely discomforting. Besides it being unsanitary, its a serious accident waiting to happen. If you enjoy lifting weights, beware. Several problems: There is a gated off what seems to be an abandoned construction project to fix the broken floors directly in front of the weight racks. Unfortunately, it occupies a space which spans at least 20 feet wide which significantly reduces the available space to work out. Im told this has been like this for many months. Second. The lighter 10 to 20 lb. weights are almost non existence. I believe theres only one set of each in those weight classes. Good luck finding what you need. (they also keep the heavier weights on the top racks which is highly unorthodox) Lastly, the club has no culture of maintenance. There are serious signs of decay & neglect throughout the gym. Besides the broken showers, agonizing long construction projects & highly questionable cleaning ethics, the paint is starting to peal in many places. I would bet my last dollar those carpets (especially the stair cases) have never been shampooed. The showers by the pool area are non functional with no fix in sight. Very sad to watch this happen to what appeared to be a very good idea filling the needs of affordable work out facility in the Sunset. This place is in dire need of attention from the investors. If I were management, I would immediately hire a full time maintenance person whos job is to keep the locker rooms, pool area & carpets cleaned throughout the day.
Clean, busy, great staff. Ive seen pictures of trashed bathrooms, thats absolutely not the clubs fault. Thats the pigs who attend it and have no manners. Dont blame them for your mess. Also juice bar inside is the best thing ever.. after a long workout being able to have an affordable protein shake with different ingredients really hits the spot for the drive home. Basketball courts can get packed also the court seems to be smaller and the rims a bit lower but great 5v5 games late night.
The gym is clean and mostly new. Weather it is personal training, group excercise, working out solo, swim lessons, spa or yoga, there is a place for you at this gym.But if you really want to challenge yourself, drop by for Cardio Kickboxing with Patsy. She is an absolute machine. She will knock the wind out of you for one hour to put you shape. Come early because the class fills up quickly.
Rude Disrespectful management, I never been treated so rude ever, manager name Jes (or something similar to Jes, I dont remember the name right because when I asked him name again because he refused to give it to me but he mentioned that he is a general manager) refused to provide receipt for one time pass for my girlfriend that I purchased there a min after transaction, also he asked me and my girlfriend to leave the gym, seriously General Manager asked me member of the gym and my girlfriend that is a potential member of that gym to leave right after we paid for her one visit and asked for receipt! I mean really ? Jes just took my money and asked us to leave gym!! We wasnt been ever to able to use that pass Im a member and I just paid for my girlfriend one time pass, we were asked to leave the gym just because we asked for receipt?! Basically we just paid than he asked us to leave and they didnt provide any receipt?! That is totally ILLIGAL and extremely RUDEI they didnt provided any receipt even after I asked many times, and I never was refunded!! I brought 6 friend in a past to that gym that became a members and you going to treat me like that?! anyway my lawyer is happy to take that case, people like Jes shouldnt manage any business that cares a bit of their costumers, Im singing off a membership now my friends are willing to do the same, thank you city sports manager!!! THANK YOU JES
Ive been a member for 3+ years, solely because its the closest gym to my place. Would NOT RECOMMEND for any other reason.Let me start by saying that the Customer Service rep who signed me up for my account told me three different times (I asked him to repeat it twice just in case) that there is no fee for freezing a membership. Low and behold about 6 months down the road, and 3 or 4 angry calls later with a manager, they charge me $10 a month service fee to freeze the account. I told them I was initially told by the rep that there were no service fees to freeze, and that this was one of the major reasons why I joined in the first place... and they basically said too bad and showed me the door. Then a few more months later, all of a sudden, without warning or anything, they decided to up-charge my monthly membership dues by $10 (and I have automatic monthly payments set up, mind you). How is this possible? I signed a contract at a specific rate, and then they unexpectedly and unknowingly raise that rate? Is that legal? Who does that? Of course I called to inquire and again, they basically said theres no rhyme or reason for it other than we are increasing our rates, and showed me the door.Beyond all this, there is never any hand sanitizer and/or paper towels in the dispensers, none of the free weights are ever in the correct spot, the locker room absolutely reeks and the lockers dont come with locks, half of the water fountains are constantly broken or spewing out lukewarm water, the scales to weigh yourself on are archaic (not even digital) and they dont work, club hours close early on weekends (like, thats when most people actually have time off and go to the gym...), and as mentioned above, most importantly, the customer service is abysmal. So my recommendation is for you, the customer, to STAY AWAY from this gym AT ALL COSTS.
In all fairness, heres the good and the bad:Good: Has a pool. Opens at 5 am. Weight equipment is maintained. Some nice people are members. The classes are taught by great instructors, especially boot camps.Bad: Filthy. Cardio machines frequently broken. Crowded in evenings. Lots of poor gym etiquette.
Purchased a guest pass to use the barbells in order to squat. All were broken and unusable. Asked for a refund and was told by the manager that there is a whole gym to use. They simply would not budge. Just lame customer service.
They called me 4x in less than a week to see if I was still interested in their 1 week guest pass. 1st time they called I was interested. Now I’m so turned off. It’s like a dating. Dude. Stop calling me!!! They called me Thursday, Friday, Tuesday and today Wednesday. I told the guy who called me on Tuesday, if I have time I will come down and to STOP CALLING ME. I was livid today when they CALLED ME AGAIN. This is just ridiculous. After reading all the horrible reviews. I’m going to pass. You should look for another gym in the area.
I really like this gym so far its clean not crowded most of the staff are polite I love the equipment. I hear theres an ass by the name of Sam there that is the manager I havent ran into him yet and I hope I dont for his sake. Besides that I love this gym...
The gym is never clean and when I go home after stretching on the mats I always feel grimey like there is actually dirt on me. The staff is not welcoming nor makes an effort to help you when you need it. They also do not provide wipes to wipe down weight machines once you are done so you basically have to sit in someone elses sweat puddle when lifting weights. Also womens bathroom is terrible and never clean it is worse than public restrooms I have used in places like golden gate park!
Admin staff are struggle to deal with. The go somewhere else if you do not like it makes for a frustrating conversation
Good place to work out. Variety of weight machines. Machines are decently spaced out so it doesnt feel too crowded. Ample space in the free weight section. It can get pretty warm when using cardio machines since it is in the back of the room, the proximity to each other, poor ventilation, and the body heat emitted by people. It takes me less than 5 minutes to start sweating where as it takes me to sweat when running outside. There arent as many variety and abundance of classes compared to YMCA which is next door but the facility does not feel as cramped and it has a lot more equipment. People are nice and you ususally dont have to wait for machines.
I’ve been coming here for almost three years and it’s nice but the staff is so rude I literally dread walking through the doors. They don’t even say hi anymore they’ll be talking to each other or looking down and without looking up or making eye contact, they’ll put the scanner up for you and then have you scan yourself. If you’re lucky they’ll look at you. Sometimes the scanner just sits there and they’re like on their phone. It’s sad. The only reason I still go here is because I don’t feel like dealing with canceling my membership because I heard it’s hard.
Good gym, but has very few lighter free-weights.
Very dirty in all aspects - cleanliness and energy. My stuff got stolen 3 times. The last time is was under a locker. FYI - they don’t have cameras.
Overcrowded and understaffed. Facilities are dirty. Do NOT sign up for training sessions! There is not enough staff to accommodate the current volume of training appointments. Trainers have stood me up twice. Plus the terms of cancelling the agreement are extremely strict.
Nice place for sports : it is really big, and you have a lot of choices.... but very often there are too much people, especially for the collective classes (zumba, yoga, abs...)
I really like the atmosphere and the clientele of this place. Sometimes it can be a tad unkempt but they are usually good about fixing anything you report. Pretty spread out so it is not overly crowded. Only gripe is that there is only one basketball court.
Really nice place to work out...enjoy 🙂
Overall, its not a bad gym. Heres my pros and cons.Pro:Great hours! Affordable pricing, decent selection of weight machines, plenty of free weights, spin classes, yoga and other group workout classes, tons of cardio machines, easy layout.Cons:Maintenance feels understaffed, can get crowded during rush hour (after work 5-7pm), parking can be difficult, place can be dirty especially on FridaysNote: theres a lot of complaints about the state of the cleanliness here. Sometimes its worse than other days but its not the gyms fault, its a reflection of this community. Lets be real, the gym isnt throwing paper on the floor or forcing its members to not use towels or breaking into lockers. This is Daly City, dont like it? move out to a more affluent community.
This gym improved cleaning of their bathrooms. Im happy to report Im a satisfied customer with all services they provide.
I come to this club, and make menbership card just using one mouth and quit, but this club still cut my payments every single mouth for one year and that’s I check my bill then I found it and call them about the refund, they said no, because they cannot find the cancel information.i said I never using the service and I need pay for that?they said yes .and then I ask for why no email to remind me every mouth have the bill ??they said that’s no in service!!!!!I think that’s kind of stolen money !!!! I just never come back again
Majority of the staff act very stuffy and unfriendly. They definitely need some classes on how to treat andgreet the customer. On the side of the building, often see the staff in groups smoking. If this is the image the club wants to portray, management needs to wake up. Thought it was a good club for about the first 6 months then it became a place trying to cram as many members as possible. It is the only club other than the Y in this area so not much other choice.
Soooo, I’m here. Still sitting here. I’m trying the gym out to see if I want to join, but I’ve been waiting for ever 15mins to talk to a sales rep. They have 5 on staff, and no one has came up to me to activate my free pass. They skipped me, by the way. One girl was free, but decided to take a sales call instead.I gave it 2 stars though, because of the facility and parking. It has a small pool for laps, and there’s plenty of parking at the back of the gym.
Personally, I think City Sports has really bad customer service and misleading annual membership fees. When I first signed up for the membership, I was not informed there was an annual membership fee, which is $49. And if you happened to cancel your membership just two days after they charged you the annual fee (which I wasnt even aware of at that time), they would tell you there is no way to refund.
It is easy to apply for membership here, but it is really difficult to cancel it. You can apply anytime it open, but in order to cancel membership, you must come here in Monday to Friday from 9-5. If I can come in here at those time, I don’t need to cancel it. If you are thinking to apply membership in City Sports, remember it is difficult ot cancel the membership. Also, there are too many people working out, and you have to wait for a long time to get the equipments.
Great gym but closes too early and can get pretty packed
Dont be fooled, its a scam. Showers are cold, nothing works and overcrowded.
The group classes teachers are really good when they show up...multiple cancellations last minute. The staff usually unprofessional and resourceless, they are never able to help... the manager is mostly absent too. The locker and shower most of the time dirty...though some of the patrons are not very responsible cleaning after themselves either, you get what you pay for....
Good size so it doesnt feel crowded. Good amenities at a reasonable price. Staff have been okay so far but I havent had to really deal with them much yet.
Terrible. Go to 24 hour fitness anywhere else is better-they are fraudulent. Do not trust them. They will charge you long after you have canceled.
What the hell is wrong with people. There are more weights left around the weight room than on the racks. Who are these people that cant put their damn weights back?!! Some entitled jerks, thats who. Love the gym and staff. But they need some GIANT signs saying to put your damn weights back!
Dont sign up at this club. Their policy is so rediculously stupid. There is a general manager Jeff. Tall guy with beard but just too dumb, not running this club smoothly. Losing possible members, no customer sevice and has attitude. They sent me guest pass in the email but they said there is 24 hour wait until i can use it. And if i was a previous la fitness member, also i can not use free pass. Just so stupud. Bad place with bad sales, marketing strategy.
Was member for couple of months and enjoyed facilities and tools. Was excited with the fact that members were able to bring in up to 10 members (as long as it was in pairs ) at a time. Brought in people before without any problems and was trying to recruit more people. All changed today when I tried to bring a friend in. Attempted to add friend to list (brought in 2 previously) but was denied by the manager who was also there the last time I brought people in. Sam my man I dont know what your trying to do. Im trying to bring in people to join and all you want is 15$ for them to try the gym. Oh yea, no guest passes here ( no free hand outs) closest thing is to go and print out your own ticket online . Unless you do that, forget about it. Sam said my deal came with no guess privilege. Asked him if I could add that on, nope! Cant add nothing on to the plan that I have. HEAR that CITY SPORTS .... Your loss. The facility and staffs are overall doing what they are suppose to but Sam is always on the chair ...... City sports need to reconsider a different manager. Dont matter what Sam is saying hes not doing anything..... Rude too. Told him to check who I brought in before and he said he had no clue who they were . All he wants is 15$..... Even if you want to try out the facility 15$. How about 15$ to go find a new manager? I would pay for that. Great gym, great place ..... Would be excellent if there wasnt Sam. How can you hire someone like that. Only general manager and you think your so high and mighty...... Please you aint nothing ..... You ruining the facility and if you keep this up the way you do, just gonna be like fitness USA in stones.... Gone
Great gym with lots of facilities. Jaz and the rest of the staff are very helpful
The best thing this place has going for it is its new and its big. Sam, head of enrollment, is the only other bright spot here. He will take care of you as a customer. But the place can be a mess.
The facilities at the gym are fine but their staff and policy are ridiculous. I tried cancelling my membership but they said their manager had to be there and she never is. Then they said they would email me to cancel. The process took over 3 weeks which made them charge me for another month of membership. One of the worse gyms I have been too.
Great gym all new equipment. Great people and staff. Weights are good because they go up in increments of 2.5 which is great for shoulder day, but the weights are unorganized and only have 2 sets of 25lbs and below which is annoying because those are the most frequently used weights. With a little organization of free weights and this place is off the charts. Great facility and number of squat racks and benchs. Definetly would reccomend.
Shower area needs improvement. Stalls have vusted lights. Shower gel holder empty and broken.
