10 stars! Top notch haircuts at an incredible price (tip well!). I first went here as a tourist in 1999 and then when I lived in Duboce from 2010-2019. They do both traditional and current mens styles very well and the high volume of customers keeps them fresh. Drop-in accommodated, best to schedule in advance by phone.

I’ve been going here every month since moving to the city 6 months ago. Great service and cut.Google says they close at 10:00 on Friday but I walked in at 8:30 and was told they were done and not to trust everything I read.

Great haircut, my barber was very personable and polite. He stayed after work to give me (a stranger) a haircut.Also, the price seriously cant be beat in this city!

Kind of strange experience. I went in for a haircut and first spent about two minutes trying to ask the barber if he thought the long hair over my undercut needed trimmed. He kept trying to talk me out of an undercut and I kept trying to explain to him I wasn’t asking for an undercut. Eventually I just gave up. Then he spent the entire time harassing me for having bleached hair. Haircut quality was fine at least.

The place is finally open again. Most of the barbers have left. Went there and got a haircut from the owner. I hope this place stays open.

He said that my hair was too short, that if I wanted to cut it with scissors I should go to a beauty salon. That last comment was totally unnecessary.

Worst experience ever - barber was rude about my alopecia - after saying he was insensitive he grabbed me by the arm (assault) and forced me out the door. No help from the owner who witnessed it. Stay clear unless you want to be assaulted by the barber.
