Awful experience! The store manager hooked a.c unit up to my fuel line. Spilled refrigerant all over my truck and the floor. Smoke coming from engine. Truck wouldnt start for 2 hours. I had to call in my person mechanic to valvoline to fix it. Who knows the damage this has caused

On February 12th, I had brought my vehicle in for a standard oil change. At the time of service, the young man that was speaking told me that he highly recommended that I have a Radiator System Flush performed due to the fact that my coolant looked dirty and low. Although expensive, I decided to do it thinking it was the right thing and considered preventative maintenance for my vehicle. Approximately two days after I had the service done I started to notice that coolant was leaking from my front end at very minimal amounts ... I brushed it off thinking that perhaps they had over filled the radiator and that the extra was just working its way out. I was very wrong. I had brought my vehicle back approximately two weeks later since the leaking was getting much worse for them to look at it. All they were able to tell me was that they couldnt find the leak and that I needed to bring it to a shop to get it checked out. Due to the negligence of the staff over-pressurizing their system, they had popped my current radiator. So a $250 oil change and radiator service ended up turning into a $500 radiator replacement. When I had called them up to tell them the situation, and asking for what they were going to do for me ... all I got back was These things happen, maam. Your radiator was probably on its way out anyway. Dont even bring your vehicle here for an oil change. All they care about is the almighty dollar. Thanks for nothing!

A decent shop but earlier this year in January I went and got my oil changed, no complaints other than they dripped oil all over the front of my car and I had to wipe it off when I got home.Also on my most recent visit I brought in my car for an oil change with roughly 54k miles, all is good they get it done, however I should have paid more attention to their reminder sticker. Two weeks after the oil change (only 1000 miles later) the sticker they gave me is reminding me I need an oil change at 55k miles... Instead of listing my true mileage when they changed my oil at 54k miles they listed it in the system as 52k so as a result I would have changed my oil again after only 1000 miles if I hadn’t been paying attention.I’m usually not this petty to write a lengthy review but who knows how many other people have unknowingly had this happen to them, it is hard to tell since it’s a chain shop if they were trying to scam me or if it was just an honest mistake.

They tried to rip me off!! They tested my coolant with a hydrometer, and lied to me about the result to try and sell me on a coolant flush for 130$. I declined, drove around the corner to advanced auto, purchased the exact same hydrometer to see for my own two eyes. My coolant was rated to be safe to -30°f. At valvoline they told me my coolant had a unsafe freezepoint of +20°f. HA. Yall tried me for a sucker. Better luck on the next one

Wow Sticker Shock for how expensive it was for the oil change... very busy no soda machine for the waiting in line and I didnt feel safe watching the tire rotation with only a manual jack to lift the car kittykorner to us worried that it would fall 😕

A good place for a quick oil change but they try to sell you other stuff. It was amazing last summer when l had 2 vehicles in for an oil change that both of their ac units had the same low reading and when l stopped by my mechanic they were both fine.

I have been going to Honda dealers for years for my oil change, but today I am making a change to the Windsor Locks Valvoline. The Windsor Locks Valvoline is absolutely wonderful. The service is fast, customer service is excellent. The service gentleman were knowledgeable and honest. There was a clear commitment to quality!!!

The staff was so friendly and sweet to me. My dad always changed my oil for me but we moved here from Wisconsin recently so I had no clue what to do! They were very helpful and even gave me coupons. I won’t go anywhere else now!!

I happen to drive by while scoping out the Bradley Airport for an upcoming trip. So I stopped in for an oil change. The crew here was very professional and so nice. They recommended a few things that I was in need of besides the oil change. I think his name was Chris, But all the guys working there couldnt of been nicer. I did get my bulbs replaced and wipers. I needed wipers badly!! So I would say this was a good experience at this location!!!

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!! 4 days after going here, my tire stem went bad - ‘could be a coincidence! However, they topped off the fluids and now my windshield wash freezes on cold days!!! The only logical explanation is that these guys used watered-down windshield wash! DO NOT GO HERE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

Very good service. Changed engine oile from their drive through service. It was quick.

I commute 120 miles round-trip daily so I get my oil changed here regularly. I have also had my tires rotated here as well, along with a recent headlamp bulb change. You pay a little more but the convenience is outstanding as I remain in the car as they work on it. I easily get in and out in about 20 minutes time at lunchtime. Im on the Valvoline mailing list for coupons so I always get $6.00 off the oil change price. I did have a leaking drain plug after one oil change but they promptly repaired it the next day at no charge. The employees are very professional and courteous. They do try to sell you additional services but I dont find them pushy about it.

I didnt receive the same care as the Valvoline location I normally go to. The guy didnt even check my lights and the service was super slow. He didnt finish working on my car when he went to help the new car that pulled up.

This place never lets me down and I get my oil changed here exclusively on both my cars. The staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. One of my cars is somewhat rare (AMG mercedes) and they still know what to do and do a good job. Also there are always coupons for a few bucks off on the valvoline website so make sure to download it first.
