One of the worst places I ever got a haircut i came here the 2nd time thinking i wasnt clear with my instructions, the service and cheap haircut you get for 20$ is not even worth it

I see all these posts talking about a 20 dollar haircut and I guess that includes a shave because a haircut at this location was $12 and went up to $15. There are many skilled barbers at this shop. The oldest guy who has the chair in the very back has been cutting my hair for years. He doesnt speak fluent English but we communicate with each other just fine. No small talk, just a good haircut, good price and good people working here.

I have been using this barber shop ever since they were on 7th St. I have one Barber that I always see, but theres several great People working there and they deserve to be acknowledged too.

Great service. My only complaint is that some of the barbers let their clients unmask needlessly during a pandemic. No needs to take off their mask to talk if they are only getting their hair cut.

When I visited San Francisco in 2010, I decided to cut my hair. It was Sunday, and there are not so lot working barbershops (I walked on Market street), but finally, I found this place. As for me, it was little strange inside (very old interior), and my barber was quite old woman (maybe 75-80 years old). Unfortunately, I dont remember the price, as it was 10 years ago, but the result was good: my hairstyle became more fancy. I still remember the location of this place because the navigation in SF is quite easy.

Been going here for years. They change their name of their business alot. Its good. Old Asian men work here. I tell them what I want. They cut my hair. I leave. There is minimal conversation. No small talk. Thats how I like it.

Arguably the sketchiest block in SF. But Ive been getting my hair cut here for 10 years, and have never gotten a bad cut. Haircuts always followed by a short shoulder massage. $13 for a cut and massage. (The older guy in the back is best.)

I went not once, but twice.Each haircut was terrible in its own special way.The first was done by an elderly man, who I came to realize had such bad arthritis that he physically couldnt use scissors to cut hair. His only tool then, was an electric shaver. I suppose if I was going for a buzz cut thatd be fine.I returned, because I thought that any other barber would certainly be an improvement. After all, Id be paying 3x the price anywhere else close by. I was very unfortunately mistaken. While the next barber was younger, and did actually use scissors, my cut was so uneven, that I ended up leaving to get a haircut at full price elsewhere to contain the damage.Id recommend a friend with scissors over this place.Oh, and the aftershave they use is noxious.

The guy that did my hair was aswome feel much better then i came in and i got a free massage. As well one guy came in didnt have no money about to start a new job asked the barb for a cut and explained he would pay him back at first he hesitated but then he had a heart and cut his hair for him. Very kind people and very affordable i recommend them.

1st look its looks little creepy, but barbers are really nice. Common where will you find a $20 great haircut. I personally like phong dzug vos haircut. He is very very old but his hair cutting skills are great. Must try it once

Rarely do I ever give GOOD reviews for Asian shop cutting a black mans hair.So for all you dark skin fellows wondering if you should go. Go ahead!!!

Absolutely the worst experience...More so very uncomfortable.I had to go have my hair redone by a professional after getting a cut here and my beard was chopped up beyond repair so I gotta start all over.When will I ever learn my lesson about dive barbershops like this one.

Good cheap haircut! True, some of the barbers are better than others. I usually go to the barber owning the best haircut. This is a $12 haircut.

This place rules! I go once a week and see the same guy. And to top it off, random folks come in off the street to sell batteries or t-shirts. Awesome!

Never a dull time. Never the same cut but Ive been fortunate and only one so so cut by last chair. First chair is best bc you get a window view. And Louisiana Fried Chicken/Happy doughnut is just a few doors down.

They have never let me down. My barber since Ive moved into down. $15 (as of 2/27/18) and you get what ya need. CASH ONLY - but there are a lot of ATMS in the stores around.Havent seen them turn away anyone due to gender (for my Butch Women/ GNC gender-non-conforming folks).

You get what you pay for. $15 got a high skin fade, the simplest haircut.. From the oldest guy in there. Had to coach him through the haircut. It came out ok. My co-worker got a low tape-up from a much younger guy an came out great. Ps. The barely speak English

I really wanted to give them 2 stars, theyre hard working but theyre a bloody RISK. And prices just went up to $20 instead of their unbeatable $15.I was going there weekly for more than a month. Although my barber was very nice, I noticed over time that my mohawk was getting thinner & slimmer, that he wasnt following the lines, then people started telling me how it was crooked & uneven & COMPLETELY messed up.The last time I went he shaved out a noticeable patch on the side of my mohawk, and made me bleed. He covered it up & pretended it hadnt happened, but later I got heaps of comments & I was embarrassed with my hair. Not only was it crooked & uneven, it wasnt even centered on the back of my head!I had to go around the corner to Fellow Barber where they had to shave my head completely, so I could grow a new mohawk that they could shape properly for me.So its taking a big risk going here but for even those just wanting a simple easy buzz, its sadly not worth taking the risk, along with the new prices.

For $ 12.00 my hair cut came out perfect. I go to the third barber chair from the door. He is very noleged about callicks since I have so many.

First time here, not the best experience. Dude took a hot minute to finish my cut. Went back to the office, and noticed it was totally uneven on top. My coworker literally was laughing at me. Went back for a fix up and while I was waiting, some guy finishes his cut and flips out after realizing his bag was stolen. After round two, the barber still couldnt even out my hair so I just did it myself in the work bathroom. Waste of $20.

Good area a good store to your hair

The shop itself is not the cleanest for everybody and at first go you may not like to stay there. But since I did I was surprised at the cut the guy gave me. I was seated at the first chair and the guy was slow but once he was all done I wore my spects to look in the mirror to be happily positively surprised. Not only did he do a pretty neat job, he was also able to exceed my expectations with hair cut better than my regular so called expert trained by Loreal back in India. I must say it was either the experience of this guy or his understanding of the natural curla of my hair that he was able to set them the very first time. I would not recommend this place to people who may have hygiene concerns because they were not the best at cleaning you during and post the haircut but they surely have the experience at setting your hair giving you the look you deserve... Thanks
