Had my vehicle for over 4 weeks, and didnt make time to repair my problem. Yes, it was going to be a lot on man hours and probably difficult but thats why the business charges their labor and the customer pays. If it was going to be quick and easy, I would have done it myself.

They did a great job on my car my only complaint is i asked the price and then asked for confirmation that was the total out the door price and was told yes. It was a little more when i went to pick my car up because of tax. Not a huge deal but everything else was awesome.

Mike’s was referred to me by a co-worker so I called them. I tried getting ahold of the dealer, that was a joke. It was going to cost a lot at the dealer, but I have a foreign car and most places won’t work on them. Mike’s quoted me a price that was less then half of what the dealer wanted. I dropped it off, and it took 1 day to get my car back. I was floored at how fast it was fixed. Great service, and people. Highly recommended and I will be taking my car to them for any future repairs, thanks so much!!!

Mikes reviewed my brakes, tires and transmission and they called me with several recommendations. They completed all the work that same day and their cost was very market competitive. This was my first time at Mike’s, I am new to Illinois and went based on all of the great reviews. They were honest about a good day to come in that would not waste my time, they don’t overcharge you for the great work that they do, and they were EXTREMELY fast. Thanks to Pete and the crew for the exceptional service. I called in because I was concerned about a check engine light and my vehicle acting up. They told me to bring it in at my convenience for them to look at it. Definitely the worst shop I’ve ever taken my vehicles too. They have kept my car in the shop for weeks on end because they simply “can’t find” the parts for it.. HORRIBLE service! We even take our 2012 Toyota Sienna there, and they have fulfilled the 30K and 60K Toyota check up requirements to keep our 100K warranty in place for about half the price Toyota charges for the same service.If you are looking for a shop where the service and mechanics will be honest and straight forward, I would recommend Mikes without any reservations!

They do good work, but sometimes they are incompetent and wont make good on their own mistakes. Their customer service is also terrible. First my radiator was leaking so they replaced it. Leaked again a few months later and they honored that warranty. However my vehicle requires a direct ozone reduction radiator which has an additional sensor on it. My check engine light came on because they were just popping my old sensor on and off each radiator, which your not suppose to do. They said the sensor was not apart of the radiator, even though it is, and would do nothing further unless I pay... pay to fix their mistake. The only way to get my CEL off is to get the correct radiator.Another issue I had was I took my car into have the windshield wipers looked at as they would not turn off. They could not give me a proper path to fix the issue. When I went to pick up my car, it was after hours and when i started it I had every warning light imaginable pop up. I left the car there and the next day got a very aggressive phone call saying I tampered with my own car and caused all thise lights to pop up.Its hard to find a reliable, helpful, knowledgeable, and trustworthy mechanic... Keep looking because Mikes is not one of them.

I just started coming here earlier this year and its been great so far. I used to go to Dobbs and they overcharge compared to Mikes. Mikes will also take the time to really research a problem instead of giving some BS back to you like Dobbs does.

This shop fixed my truck without giving me a quote or having me approve the quote. They just did the repairs then gave me the price afterwards which was astronomical.Something shady going on at this shop stay away.Ive never been to a shop where repairs were made on a vehicle before being approved or even quoted a price.

My family has been going to Mikes automotive for several years now. Normally we go to the Collinsville, location where Peter has given us phenomenal service. On one occasion my wifes car was serviced at his brother Georges location in Millstadt. My daughter is now going to Angelos location in Saint Louis because it is closer to her home and work. All in all they are great and we have never had a problem.
