Kerry is the owner and runs an exemplary business. He was polite, professional, and gave a fantastic cut that didnt cost me an arm and a leg. Outside of that, his place is spotless and he values sanitation / cleanliness very highly! Go to Google and book an appointment through there if you want to be seen fast. He was right on time for my cut. Dont think Ill need another barber the rest of the time Im in San Diego.

Awesome haircut, awesome experience.Honestly sort of stumbled across this place on Google which is why I’m leaving this review so I can hopefully inspire more people to check out Barber Box.The backside of this building definitely looked a little weird, wasn’t really sure where to park or even how to get up, but I’m glad I was able to get around the front and find street parking.Don’t let the building turn you off because Kerry was an incredible guy who saw me even though I didn’t have an appointment, listened to what I was looking for, and then gave me one of the beat haircuts I’ve ever had!I’ll definitely be going back to this gem of a barbershop.

This is the best barbershop in the Point Loma area. The man who runs the place Kerry is one of the best guys I’ve met, he is always in a positive attitude and is super inviting. I always feel comfortable when Im at the barbershop and when I leave I can always count on a clean haircut and I would 100% recommend you to give it a shot.

Despite the blazing neon sign open sign that is lit up 24 hours a day, this place is never open when I want a haircut at night. HINT: The open sign is used to indicate you are open, not for air traffic control!

I go regularly and always leave happy with a clean cut and from what I have seen all their barbers can cut, its usually best to make an appointment though because there isnt alot of seating. Just like any good black barbershop the shop talk is crazy and usually will have you struggling not to laugh so you dont mess up your line up.

Excellent place. Came in from out of town needing a haircut and ended up here. Owner is really friendly and great company, he was able to get me in the chair quickly despite me calling only 30 mins before I got there. Qhich was amazing. He took his time and did a amazing job cutting my hair and made sure I loved it too. You can tell he loves what he does, and he cares about his clients. 5 out 5 would recommend!

I wish i couldve taken my Asian barber there with me to Bremerton, Washington, she was Great! And the barbershop is diverse in who hairs they deal with from white, black, Latino, and Asian, theyre good at them all! How do I know?
