Always kind, dedicated service. I have had Mr Lee do big repairs—fix gas leak—to more mundane maintenance like oil change and tire rotations on my old car. Mr Lee diagnosed a problem no dealer was able to do for me. I trust Mr Lee with my car like I would an uncle knowledgeable about cars. San Diego’s lucky to have his business!
Mr. Lee was able to look at our car on short notice. He was kind enough to look at the car and diagnose the issue late on a Friday for a couple of out-of-towners. Honest man who is good at his job.
He’s a fair mechanic but then there were some things he did not spot! and i had to get those checked out / fixed by the dealership.
This is the best automotive repair shop Ive ever visited. The prices are more than fair and the work is excellent.
Problem still exists, more of a problem before I took it there, iam not happy at all, now I half to take it to another shop
Mr. lee is a very good mechanic, capable of doing big jobs in a timely fashion. Not only does he provide excellent service he does not over charge. I have been taking my vehicle here for a year and a half. Highly recommended.
Mr.Lee is by far the nicest and most honest car mechanic I have ever experienced. He’s the most inexpensive I’ve ever delt with and won’t try and charge you for things that aren’t wrong with your car. I highly recommend!!!
Now this guy, Mr. Lee is my go to guy for my auto repairs. Great service. Prices are better than taking it to Ford. Its a small place in a quite neighborhood. Doesnt look like much but is worth coming here by a long shot. Top notch.
Read the great reviews and brought my truck in for the intake manifold to be replaced. Mechanic told me it just needed to be cleaned, not replaced. I was skeptical but he assured me the truck would be good for another 6 months to a year and it would save me money to just get it cleaned. I said ok. He had my truck about a week, finally i called him and he said it was ready. I picked it up and it drove fine, for 2 days. Then the check engine light came back on. Guess what, intake manifold still needs replacement. I called him about it several times after and he said he would order the part and do the work for free. But he never calls me back. So he just gave me the run around, wasted my money, and i didnt have my truck for a week. Thanks for nothing.
The service was quick and affordable and the technician was very hospitable. He made a lifetime customer out of me.
Im so happy to have found Lee. Needed a go-to mechanic in SD that I can trust and now Ive got one. Honest, excellent rates, knows his stuff, and cares about helping you out.
Great service at an affordable price.
I took my Lexus to Lee feeling a good honest job would be done . He ended up taking a part off and replacing it. I noticed it when checking his original work. All my parts look like new the replaced part was old and dusty. After taking the car back of course he denied it taking s picture to make it seem as if thats how I brought it once I caught up with him.I called he said bring it by and he had closed the shop. I should of not called and Just brought it. Check your car thouroughly if you go to him. Needless to say I wont be. Low down and dirty is what I think pfLee.
This place is amazing. I have a 1999 BMW M3 and got run off the road, messing up my rear suspension. I also needed basic stuff that comes with car age: a belt, a few hoses, and a flex joint. Lee got the parts within a day, installed, tightened everything up, gave me some recs on how to fix an exhaust problem, and fixed extra things free of charge. The car drives like rolled off the line in Germany. You can tell he loves cars and loves to help people out. The total kicker: $682 with a 1 year warranty on the NEW parts... This is $100 less than the quote from other shops prior to my broken suspension. BMW dealership quoted me over 1500 bucks prior to suspension issues. If there were 6 starts, hed get them all.
Ive taken several cars to Lee over the years. A Mitsubishi Montero, Toyota Pick-up, Mazda 323, and a Mazda 626. I have always been satisfied with the service. Lee is a straight-up teller. Hell tell you what he suspects the problem is - including a quote. Then hell dig in and if something different comes up - hell give you a call to confirm youre okay with the next course of action. Hes done some major repairs as well as many minor ones.A notable experience with the Montero; he investigated the check engine light using his computer read-out (no big deal because everyone has the little dongle thing.) The big deal was that instead of charging me a bunch of money - he told me to go and get some fuel injector cleaner from the auto part store and come back if this didnt clear up the problem. I would have been an easy target for an unscrupulous mechanic but he is not like that. (Ive had a couple experiences like this with Lee.) He rocks!!!
Very fair price and finishes the job in a timely manner.
Last Sunday I found myself stranded 100 miles from home. Lee at N & N went way above the call of duty to help me get home - my family and I were in San Diego for a day at the Zoo - (we live in LA) at 4pm we found that the car was over heating and had a broken belt. I called AAA for a tow and started to call every local car repair place I could find. After a dozen or so calls, I reached Lee at N & N. He was not only able to find the belt to fix my car - he opened his shop on his day off and then stayed late to fix it. He got us back on the road in about an hour. His price was extremely fair - so fair in fact - I felt a little guilty. I really cant believe that a guy like this really still exists. I only wish I lived closer - he would have a customer for life. Thanks Lee.
Fast quick service and very friendly! Don’t let the appearance turn you off!
The best mechanic you can find in San Diego
