Do not ever rent an apartment from these people. They really are the scum of the earth. The office staff there are really unpleasant, 2 faced and plain mean. They invent charges when you leave and take all your deposit. They play all kinds of tricks to ensure youll never see that deposit back! This happened to myself and several others that I know left there recently. Their behavior is criminal to me but of course they have it all covered in the small print of the lease.Beware and be warned!

I am not a current resident however, have been searching multiple properties and apartment communities in preparation to downsize from a single family home. Ben was phenomenal, excellent customer service, extremely knowledgeable, and had everything ready for me upon arrival including a typed mapped and directions where to find each unit, details on each, etc. Impressive! I enjoyed touring the grounds, the pool is very peaceful, gym is up to date and good size, grounds are well manicured. I am still considering other Irvine properties due to space and availability however, highly recommend this community! I will definitely rent here should a unit become available in my timeframe.

My fiancee and I did the self-guided tour at Torrey Hills two weeks ago. It was very well organized with easy to follow instructions from Justin, one of the leasing consultants. We still managed to get lost between buildings. But he hopped in a golf cart and came to the rescue.Overall the area is very clean, airy, apartments are bright with high ceilings. Kitchens have pantry, white cabinets and quartz counter tops which I consider so much easier to maintain than granite. Looks like a nice place to move into.

We are finishing the paperwork for our new place tomorrow and its been the most AMAZING experience, thanks to Cary. He was so efficient, attentive, and heartfelt throughout this whole process. We definitely didnt have the easiest situation, the system went down and some things online got a little crazy, so he stayed extra hours to make sure I left happy and confident. I cant wait to move in. It was the best customer service experience Ive ever had with an apartment complex. Hes truly a remarkable person. We also have 9 month old daughter, who just immediately fell in love with Cary. He was so cute with her, I knew we were in great hands!! Thank you, so much.

We moved into this community 10 months ago and I have to say I love it. The maintenance team is super nice and always right there to fix something. It was extremely quiet in our area till we got upstairs neighbors however that is to be expected. We had ants and termites in the summer a couple times. They fixed it. SOME of the parking places are so narrow I am always worried I will get dings on my car and I have to repark a few times to get exactly inside the lines. All in all, however, its been a pleasant experience. My kids have made so many friends, the apartment feels likes home, the grounds are kept in such excellent condition, staff have been usually very nice.. lots of places for the kids to play. Excellent location close to schools, parks, the ocean, and not far from places that have great food and shopping. For our first year here in this beautiful state, I think we made a good choice. :)

This place is very loud... BUT HAS GREAT PRICES. Everywhere else the 2 bedrooms are 2800-3000, but here we got an amazing deal of 2650! California is generally expensive but this is a good price. And the people at the reception are super nice. I would recommend living here.

Rude and disrespectful neighbors and kids that are obnoxiously loud past 10 o’clock at night. Kids skateboard and ride bikes in walkways and their parents could care less about it. Banging and domestic disturbances are continually heard from neighbors living upstairs. Major ant problems. Plumbing hasn’t been reliable either. Service staff has been told about the neighbor issue and they always say sorry about the issue but then do nothing about it. The place has a Carmel valley address but has the feel of section 8 housing. Avoid this place at all costs.

I have been here about 9 months. I enjoy living here.The staff have been great. This has been the quietest place I have ever lived which makes me happy :) I love the area.

We found this apartment to have a great vibe! Its a very peaceful resort type community, and a shoutout for Cary Mayo, who is one of the friendliest and welcoming agent we have seen in our entire apartment hunt!

Do not rent here. They take your deposit for repairs of ordinary wear and tear. Irvine Co. has lost several class action law suits on this issue but keep doing it anyway. Poor maintenance like painting shower interiors, melamine cabinets and black mold around windows. I wanted a 12 month lease and ended up with a 13 month lease without realizing it! Do your research before signing a lease.

I moved in 7 months ago and cannot say enough good about the apartment and the staff. They are proactive in ensuring everything is kept in working order. They do annual inspections and fix anything they find. If I submit a maintenance request they take care of it that day or the next day. I was carrying some heavy items in one day and maintenance offered to help. I can hear my upstairs neighbors but when it got a little loud I said something to the manager and they talked to tenant about it. Yes there is noise from outside but it is children playing tag on the grass area. It has always stopped in the early evening.

Okey doke...trying to be straight forward on the reviews. We moved into Torrey Hills two week ago today. Amanda, Jimmy, and Sean (sorry if Im spelling that wrong) have been...EXCELLENT to us. Helpful beforehand and helpful now. Jorge (again, sorry if Im spelling that wrong) was great regarding maintenance issues. No place is perfect when you move in, but if the staff responds right away...then its a solid.We have lived in apartments for 6 years and we love the apartment feel. We are right at home at Torrey Hills. The amenities are...outstanding...and the garage that we use is HUGE.All in all...its the first couple of weeks, so time will tell if it stays where its at...but right now...9 out of 10!

Weve lived here for two months and really enjoy living here. The office & maintenance staff are all friendly and approachable. The pool is a great size and rarely gets too busy. We find the 2 bed (Plan C) roomy enough for a family with young kids. Recently, the building exteriors were repainted and the parking lot resurfaced and this was extremely well organised by the staff to minimise disruption to everyone. The only downsides are the parking spaces seem a little narrow and we can hear the freeway from the balcony (Being on the most western side) Our balcony gets the afternoon/evening sun so its a trade off.

I feel the need to stress my growing discomfort with the fact that this is a gated community, and yet the gates, both entrance and exit, have been wide open, 24 hrs straight, for the past month. I had a vehicle stolen from this property and yet the gates here remain wide open. we have to see the courtesy patrol yet making their rounds at this facility.The parking spaces in this complex are too small and do not fit a full sized car without squeezing into a space, the past couple of nights i have had to park 4 buildings away due to double parking and too many cars for the spaces provided. The car i purchased to replace my stolen vehicle already has two dings in the side due to residents parking too close and opening their doors into other peoples cars.This complex wants to charge for garages, and charge for covered parking, yet it wont assign parking spaces to ensure every tenant has a space near where they are residing and not having to walk 1/4 mile from their car to their residence.The lack of security and recent downgrading in appearance of the facility (residents hanging their laundry over the balcony railings) is the main reason we will not be renewing our lease here at Torrey Hills. Replacing building numbers and parking signs is money that could be better spent on ensuring the gates to the facility actually work and do not allow anyone off the street to just roll through the complex and have access to everyones property, meaning their cars and items stored in their garages.It is sad as we moved here knowing the facility was in a nicer neighborhood and had sense of pride about the place, both of which no longer exist here.

Way too loud for the money. Upstairs neighbors run through their apt all day and night long banging and pounding. Very disrespectful and rude.
