My wife and I have been living at Avalon La Jolla Colony for the past FIVE YEARS. Weve looked at other communities, but nothing comes close to this community. Location, location, location. Convenience is paramount, especially during COVID. The service and support both from the front office and the maintenance team are dedicated. Every service request we have submitted has been resolved within 24 hours.Natasha and Luis at the front office are always available to answer any issues or questions. The maintenance crew with Horacio, Gilberto Junior, Jose and Victor are all rock stars. They keep the property immaculate as Ive never seen people so committed and hard working. Ill say Hi to them and let them all know that I appreciate their commitment to our communitys upkeep. Avalon La Jolla has my highest recommendation. I indubitably feel safe here. Cheers!

Weve lived at Avalon the past 2.5 years and loved it. One of the best things about Avalon in their maintenance team and more specifically, Junior. He answers maintenance requests the next day and sometimes the same day. He is professional, friendly and sees every request through to the finish.

One of the best apartments I have ever lived. The location is perfect, the apartments are beautiful, appliances are all new and modern. The office and the management team is super nice and helpful. Maintenance team rocks. La Jolla colony park is the perfect spot for a walk or a run or just to relax on the grass. If you have dogs this place is paradise. Overall avalon La Jolla colony apartment exceeded my expectations.

Loved living here. There are a TON of positives about living at Avalon. The location is amazing, Close to multiple restaurants and the grocery store is literally a nice walking distance away. There is a HUGE green space attached to the complex and its amazing for morning and evening walks especially if you have a dog. Speaking of pets there is a dog spa in the complex that I have used multiple times. In addition there is a dog park directly across the street from Avalon. So, if you have a dog or dogs Avalon is VERY dog friendly which was very important to me. Especially the dog spa.The staff, I dont know too many of them except for Luis. Luis is VERY helpful and is always a pleasure to deal with. Hes a great asset to Avalon and made moving in, living there and moving out a breeze. Thanks for everything Luis.

Me and my wife have recently moved here and we cant get over this place yet. Amazing community it is. It is always clean and maintained properly. Maintenance is very quick to respond. The park adds to the beauty. Most of the scenic places/groceries are very close by.Luis at the front office is very quick to respond. He was the one who guided us during our apartment hunting and was very clear and transparent. Shoutout to the entire team

If I could give more than 5-stars, I would! My move-in experience from start to finish was beyond excellent. Luis from the leasing office provided exceptional service and has been super accommodating to any request or inquiry I may have. The compound is very clean and well-maintained. Living at Avalon Bay La Jolla at San Diego, CA is indeed my best experience compared to my previous experiences of moving from one apartment to another owned by different companies.Prior moving in, Avalons Community Consultant - Luis, had helped and assisted us a lot while having to transit and move in in a short time to the apartment while returning to the States.Luis is super friendly and always carry a smiling face! He is indeed super helpful when we approach him for assistance and any other issues related to the apartment.The maintenance team of Avalon Bay @ La Jolla is super efficient in solving all the maintenance issues! When we first move in, there was a breakage in the bathtub, and when we were about to tell them the next day, the maintenance team came first by calling us and ask if there is a breakage in the tub, as they notice leakage at the bottom floor.This issue had shown how fast and immediate they are in solving the maintenance issues, and very responsive to the problem.In overall, Avalon Bay @ La Jolla is the best apartment and my best living experiences in the States so far!

My wife And I are moved back to San Diego from out brief 2 year stay in Boston for my work. It is truly great to be back home In SD and part of that has been our excellent experience at avalon la jolla colony. The people at avalon have been welcoming, professional, and very accommodating. Our apartment is very clean and on the rare occasion we need maintenance performed the staff at la jolla colony is prompt and professional. Our boys love the pool and we use the outdoor BBQ as much as we can. The huge grassy park area next door is amazing for walks and playing soccer. And we are 10 mins from the beach. I would highly recommend the avalon at la jolla colony to anyone looking for a fun, clean, quiet, positive environment to live in.-Taylor

We lived here for almost 2 years! And this place is the beeeessssttt! They were soooo sweet and so friendly! EVERYONE THAT WORKS THERE! From office staff to maintenance! My puppy and I would go in literally every single day for a puppy treat! And he loves them just as much!!! PS the view didnt hurt either :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I honestly havent had a better experience with an apartment complex. I cant say enough nice things about how awesome they are. Everything is always handled in a timely fashion. Everyone is very welcoming and inviting. Its very clean, always! Such a nice place to live. :)

I have been a resident at Avalon La Jolla Colony for 15-months and I love it! :-) The property is beautiful, very well manicured, and includes state of the art amenities, a beautiful pool area, and a great gym. The management and maintenance staff rock! They are very caring and supportive of the residents needs. The surrounding community and the fit park are great too. I use it daily and have met some of the nicest people in our community. If you are looking for a great place to call home, I definitely recommend Avalon La Jolla Colony as a great choice. Be well,

I really enjoy living in this community. We researched alot before we moved in. When you contact the office they respond right away and take care of any issues you have and everyone is nice. What I love about this places everybody in the office knows what theyre doing and they do it efficiently. Maintenance crew is great they resolve any problems you have right away . The grounds are always maintained and clean.I love the fact that every week or so, different food trucks come in. Not only do we get a chance to try different things but we get to support local business especially during Covid. We were only planning on staying here for 6 months we decided to extend it another 6 months. :)

Living at Avalon has been my best apartment experience to date! Love it so far. It’s a lovely clean neighborhood with ample parking and nice 24 hour gym. The outdoor area is perfect for having friends over. Finally management is very good on keeping us up to date on safety matters. Highly recommend!

It was so great working with the team at Avalon La Jolla Colony on Saturday while serving Ice Cream to their residents! They worked with us to practice safe social distancing by having people stationed 6 apart while in line, they encouraged everyone to wear facial coverings, and everything was organized and ran so smoothly! Not only do they value their residents by thanking them for staying home and doing their part, they are supporting small local businesses like us here at Sweet Treats! Living here in Avalon La Jolla Colony has been an absolute blast! Natasha and Dominique in the leasing office are always there when you need any assistance. As for my apartment, everything is exactly what they said it was going to be. There are many things my wife and I loved about Avalon La Jolla Colony. The location was very convenient for us and we felt comfortable enough knowing our dog was going to be okay when we were gone. We enjoyed the neighborhood park and the scenery surrounding it. When it came to move out, both the leasing staff and maintenance staff were accommodating and made everything nice and seamless for us. If we didnt have to leave because of our growing family we wouldve stayed longer. We are thankful for how the Christina and Andrea helped us through the transition.

We love Avalon La Jolla, Andrea and Christina are great always a help and our dog loves popping in to say hello get a scratch and treat. Always welcoming putting the residents first. doing what it takes to make you happy. One thing I think the units should have it a central air system...but the rental of the ac does work...Close to all the shopping you could need and watch out for BBQ and Pizza when they come!

My spouse and I have been residents at Avalon La Jolla Colony for 7 years. We love calling this community home for many reasons including the convenient location, the beautiful surrounding area and the dog friendly amenities. The community is located right off the I-5 and is very close to various shopping centers and the UTC mall. The nearby park is wonderfully manicured and maintained. The amenities at this community are well maintained, accessible and thoughtfully designed. The cleanliness of the gym, the pool and the spa is far superior to any other pools or gyms I have seen. The community is also very dog friendly and offers a dog spa to groom your pet. There are a many reasons that kept us at this community for seven years but the main reason is the staff and maintenance team. Andrea and her team go out of there way to make sure their residents are taken care of and happy. The maintenance team is very respectful and prompt in addressing your needs and fixing anything that comes up in your apartment. We strongly recommend Avalon La Jolla Colony to anyone who is looking for a beautiful community and a top notch team who cares about your needs and values your residency.

Everything about Avalon La Jolla Colony is great! The apartments are newly remodeled, with a very clean and modern feel, and the maintenance crew responds almost instantly to any requests. The grounds are meticulous and Ive never had a noise problem here. Beautiful heated salt water pool, hot tub, and gym that are never crowded. The folks in the leasing office are terrific, in particular Daniel Medina who went out of his way to help me when I suddenly needed a larger apartment mid-lease. Exceptional place and people!!

I can’t recommend Avalon Colony enough. From the start, the community was very friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff in particular go above and beyond to resolve issues in a timely manner and are kind yet professional. Andrea Hashkins is the supervisor for this location and was very accommodating when we unexpectedly needed to move out early. I love the amenities – the pool, work out studio, hot tub and all other facilities are always kept clean. The pool is my favorite as I have been able to lounge and also swim laps there. The hot tub has been awesome especially when we have visitors. There are abundant grills and a fire pit to sit around which is great when hosting. Lastly, there is a beautiful park that is shared with other communities which I and my family would walk multiple times a day. It is kept lit at night and always feels safe. All in all, I highly recommend checking out Avalon as a potential place to live.

We have lived here for a year now and we just signed a new lease for another year. Our time here has been great in this quiet little complex. The location is perfect with the big park right next door that has walking trails that circle along the community, which our dog loves to visit. The staff has been amazing throughout our time here, they all have been very friendly and very easy to get ahold of, shoutout to Jordyn. She has taken care of every little issue we have had and has handle everything in a professional and timely matter. You can tell the employees really care about the residents experience and the overall outlook on the complex. Walls are a little thin but it’s a very small price to pay for all the positives that this complex has to offer.

I am impressed by the heart warming hospitality of the Avalon staffs besides their peaceful and comfortable property! The park is just next door and town center is 2min walk! Andrea and Cristina are both very sweet and attentive to guide us for what we need from inception to move in dates! Every little things such as free pizza to welcome us on the first night would make everyone of us feel like home!!! We appreciate the value that the property is offering!

Awesome and relaxing place, with very lovely staff members who actually care about their residents, and nicely. With every trouble we had to move into our new apartment in a single day, we made it but only because of the perfect and charming people like Andrea and Christina who have been guiding us through everything step by step. And overall we love our new place, since we got everything and anything which is so brand new that makes us feel like we have been making the best decision. The very first moment I saw this complex, I felt like Im already attached to it, since it was so beautifully designed and I knew that its going to be my next spot for living. I love the brand new gym at Avalon, and as well we got so many fancy spots to sit and chill, like barbecue with the grills, even jump in the pool and jacuzzi that makes us feel overwhelmed by the fabulous and beautiful view. Avalon is so close to every shopping center and anywhere you wish to go around you, its a big time recommendation from me to anyone. I appreciate it.

I’ve been a resident at Avalon La Jolla Colony for 8 months now, and I have to say the maintenance team sets this complex apart from all others. Everyone here is great but Victor Silva is truly a gem! He has always gone above and beyond to make sure living here is a comfortable and pleasant experience 24/7 rain or shine. He is not only super reliable but also very efficient and does it all with a smile.Victor definitely goes above and beyond the already high standard and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without him! My wife and I have recently renewed our lease. We have had a wonderful experience living in Avalon - La Jolla Colony. The leasing staff are very responsive to any questions or issues that may arise. Same with the maintenance staff; we had a couple minor issues come up over our past lease that were addressed that same day. Our apartment has new appliances and is clean and well maintained. We love having a gym available on the premises and enjoy sitting by the pool/hot tub or using one of the grills. The community is in a safe location, right next to a park and is walking distance from a bike path and a grocery store.

I have lived here for a year and I am very happy with my experience so far. Amy one of the office managers is very friendly and helpful and has taken care of anything I need from the office from getting parking passes for guests to maintenance. The gym is opened 24 hours and nice pool area. Also for accepting pets the facility is always clean and well kept. Highly recommend living here. And this is not a fake review I am a real tenant.

I moved in here about a month ago. The apartment is completely renovated including appliances so its fresh and comfortable. Couldnt be happier. Its a great location: walking distance to supermarkets, shops and yoga... They have a beautiful swimming pool and fitness center.The apartments across and beneath my apartment were completely renovated last week (its crazy it only took them one week to do). The people who came to work never left a mess, there was no noise and literally one day someone started earlier then usual and Avalon ordered ice cream on Saturday for the entire community.The maintenance staff (Arturo and Victor) are the most professional Ive come across. They are professional, come within a short time frame, and they honestly are just really nice people that care about this place.Right behind the building next to ours is a beautiful green park... I personally really like this place.

Avalon in UTC is by far the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. They are truly committed to the community and keeping the grounds in perfect condition. From the front office to the custodians, they are all committed and take there job seriously. Every time I had a service request, which was always for small things like a bulb being out, they where always there on time and resolved the issue. The front office is always available and ready to answer any questions. Don’t think twice about signing here, you won’t regret it!

I would advise against living here. The staff is horrible to deal with and the walls are paper thin. From what I heard, a few years ago, they did construction to the buildings and left out insulation and now you can hear low volume music and sound go through walls. If you live on the bottom floors, be ready to be woken up by neighbors coming late at night. I stayed a year and left as this place is a high turn over complex for the same problems I am having and the exorbitant rents you pay for what you get. You will meet neighbors and they will be gone the next month. Nice sorrounding pool area... Its quiet compared to the apartments though.

Andrea and Christina did a great job preparing everything for a move in.There was a tiny spot with chipped paint in the bathroom when I moved in and they made sure everything is fixed within hours.The complex itself looks beautiful and apartments are nice ;)

My boyfriend and I recently renewed our 12 month lease with Avalon La Jolla Colony! We love everything about living at Avalon! Last year when we were searching for a home in San Diego we told Daniel (Community Consultant) what we wanted and he went beyond our expectations!From moving in last year until now Daniel and the maintenance team take great care of us! The team at Avalon is always there for us and the neighborhood is clean! Avalon has lighting all around the neighborhood and I feel safe to walk my dog at night! The pool/jacuzzi, 24 hour gym, and underground parking are all secured with pod entrance so we never have to deal with random people in those areas! The dog park, huge community park, and shopping center (grocery store, hair/nail services, restaurants, etc.) walking distance is so convenient!Talk to Daniel if youre looking for your next home!

I rented this apartment site unseen from MA. Christina and Andrea made this experience much easier and I was lucky to find this apartment complex. They made the entire application process easy. When we first moved in there was a lot of difficulty getting internet, they went above and beyond to help us in the process.

Horacio is a excellent technician and such a pleasure to have in our home. He is pleasant and accommodating and goes to every length to please residents. We have known Horacio for over two years and his wonderful attitude is a credit to your company. Please don’t transfer him to another location!.He has made a s I don’t visit fir a new problem and dealt with it efficiently and expeditiously. He is a winderful technician.

The management (Andrea and Cristina in particular) at La Jolla Avalon Colony made a very stressful situation become smooth with my transition into their community. I had to get out of a lease with another Avalon apartment community due to work and ALJC was able to help me work with the other community to allow me to move without paying a bunch of fees!Besides the amazing assistance offered, they were extremely friendly and professional with my transition over. They were also very sweet and kind to my one year old Golden Retriever which is awesome to know their place is super dog friendly.The community is beautiful and offers many amenities that make me feel like I have an affordable timeshare in San Diego instead of an apartment. Plus, the unit has a very nice and open layout to it. There were a few scuffs and marks on the initial inspection, but that will be common for anywhere you go (Ive seen worse at other apartment complexes).Overall, Im very happy with the initial part of my lease!

I reached out to the leasing office on a whim trying to find a place to live upon returning to the states from overseas. I did not expect to decide on a place until speaking with Andrea, her ability to take charge, knowledge, and enthusiasm drove me to submit my lease application. Upon arrival at the complex, Christina gave me a tour and everything looked exactly as advertised, they even put my belongings that arrived prior to move-in day inside my apartment. Could not ask for more from these two ladies! Its a quiet place tucked away off of I-5 with attractive scenery. I just moved in a few days ago, but couldnt be happier with this transition. Will post a follow up at a later time.

My sister and I have lived in Avalon La Jolla Colony for 2 years, and we absolutely love it! We plan to renew our lease for a third year. The staff is very attentive and friendly. If you ever have maintenance issues (which is not often) the staff gets the issue resolved in a timely fashion and leaves the area looking even better/cleaner than before. The amenities such as the pool, hot tub, and 24-hour gym are always impeccably maintained, and the location/area is quiet which is something we prioritize for our living space....to some extent this is why I am hesitant to write a review because I do not want too many people knowing about our lovely hidden gem- Avalon La Jolla Colony!! Overall, I would highly recommend at the very least just exploring this as a living option. You will not be disappointed!

This apartment complex has the best, most accommodating and caring team i have ever seen from an apartment company - from management to maintenance to renovation teams. They were extremely accompodating during the renovation. My unit has been transformed into a newer, more modern home. This apartment is very dog friendly. Ive been living here for over 2 years now and it is definitely a 5-star apartment.

Constant construction and noise. Maintenance crew always needs to enter my apartment when Im not home. Was promised by staff that this place would be quiet but they failed to mention that for the next 6 months I would have to tolerate massive construction all around me. Cant hold staff accountable for this because leasing personnel that were around all have quit.I moved into my fully renovated apartment with new paint, new carpet & floors, all new appliances, brand kitchen in January 2016. Since moving in the maintenance crew has needed to enter my apartment almost every month since January for reasons like; check serial number of refrigerator, check shower heads to make sure they are the right ones, to check washer/dryer to make sure they are the right ones. Ive come home several times to construction that prevented me from entering my home. Debris from construction is often on the walkways or on stairs.Often I receive notification about these things with less than 24 hours notice and one particular time they entered my apartment for an annual inspection just 2 months after moving in without any notification which is totally illegal. I only knew that someone entered my apartment because when I came home the staff opened all of my window blinds, left lights on, and forgot to close my patio door. No peace, no privacy, and constant violations of my renters rights.

I scheduled an appointment for yesterday at 2pm and nobody took care of me! I went there someone from the management kicked me out of the office and said the guy would call back so I could go in. I waited for 40 minutes outside. The guy inside of the office was pretending that he didnt see me and didnt answer any of my calls and he saw that I was calling! I havent been disrespected like this in my whole life.

Awesome pet friendly place but there are a lot of irresponsible pet owners who leave their dogs in the apartment by themselves all day and some even all evening so the dogs just bark and howl all day and night. Its really bad when you still hear the same dog at 10PM and no one does anything about it. The people across from me actually let their dog use the bathroom on the porch. They are never home so I see the dog just go out there and do his business. Other than construction and maintenance people everywhere this place is OK but definitely nothing special.

Andrea on her first day at the front office went above and beyond to help me in a speedy fashion! She did amazing on her first day!!

Avalon is amazing. Thats it. Period.The management is amazing and super caring. During our stay they helped us through moving in, our renovation, and any other concerns we had. Maintenance and requests were fulfilled within the day (depending on when the request was put in). Everyone in Avalon is super nice as well. The apartments themselves are really nice after the renovation, and the community is overall pretty quiet. For example, when we were renovating over spring break, the contractors had some setbacks and we had two fridges at one point. Denise stopped by after they installed the new fridge and helped us move all of our food into the new fridge so that they wouldnt perish. Where else can you find office staff as nice as her?Parking can be a pain sometimes without assigned spots but its not too bad. The only complaint I have is that the apartments are a bit pricey but that may be due to the fact that Im a student and have a limited income. Other than that, Avalon is amazing and Id recommend it to anyone who asks.Edit: some users complained about construction as Avalon is renovating their facilities. The construction should be finished by the end of this year and I honestly dont even notice it the majority of the time. Theyre very courteous and try their best to be as non-intrusive as possible.

Avalon is part of a large rental group. Apartments are nice looking but cheaply built. Get a top floor apartment or you will be miserable listening to the neighbors above you walking. Constructions is also never ending.

AvalonBay La Jolla. I lived here for 2 years and during my stay had an overall pleasant experience. My girlfriend and I shared the 700sq ft floor plan and outside of noisy neighbors above us we were fine with it. Nice updated kitchen, good light, park view. Fast response time.However, things took a turn at move out time. After dealing with annual rent hikes averaging over 5% annually we decided to find more bang for or buck and moved out. That apartment was kept immaculate, cleaned every weekend (literally every weekend), had carpets deep cleaned after our first year. I promise you it was maintained with the highest care and quality.My warning to you. Get ready to pay. After pre-inspection we noticed all kinds of charges. I approached the office about this and they said everything was fine usually you only get charged for the apartment cleaning charge and not to worry. Two weeks after move out we were hit with 600$ in damages. Seriously? I told the corporate office after the call I would look at the itemization of damages on AvalonAccess and immediately contacted the leasing office. Was then told by a representative they would forward the email to the current front office and have them speak with maintenance to detail these charges. I have photos of the apartment and asked for what specifically was outside the range of normal wear and tear after two years. No response.Next week I get a call from the corporate office for payments. I explain my frustration and say Im happy to pay for damages, but Id still like an itemization and explanation of the damages so I have an idea of what went wrong. I get an itemization, but no explanation that pertains to my specific office. Just all the things they could charge us for. I was told of the high expectations for AvalonBay Communities and that the decision was made to replace paint and carpet. In the meantime she rudely attempted to interrupt and reconstruct my phrasing before I could complete what I wanted to say. Eventually I was told they would forward the payment on and that in the end I would eventually just have to pay it. Again, Im happy to, but I dont think Im out of a line for asking for an explanation from maintenance.Overall, beware. Your dealing with a large corporation who apparently prizes acquiring an extra buck over their corporate image and customer satisfaction. Regardless, of the cleanliness or mannerisms of the tenant.

I have lived here for a year now. Lets start at the beginning:I moved across the country, which does not make things easy. The lady in the office, Kara Dobson, took extra time and care to not only answer every question I had, but also send more information. She took extra photos of the unit and even a video walkthrough of the actual unit I would be living in. From the get-go, the customer service was great. And always has been.The maintenance staff. They are always friendly and great you with a smile. The few times that I actually needed something taken care of, they were prompt and professional.Overall, I have had a great experience living here, and if it were not for having to relocate due to work, I would continue to live here.

The worst living experience!!! Could not be more disappointed in Avalon! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! The rent is atrocious based on the size of the apartment. Avalon broke California renters law by never giving 24 hour advance notice before entering the apartment (several tenants threatened to sue and were able to leave Avalon in the middle of their leases), essentially evicted me from my apartment for nine days to remodel it, damaged my property, if the neighbors below me turn their lights on while my ceiling fan is on the light comes on (an unenjoyable 2 am experience), parking is terrible, and currently theyve turned my washer off for FIVE DAYS and have yet to fix a leak they assured us would be fixed immediately. Avalon does not even deserve one star!!!

Couldnt be happier. I love this place and so glad I made the decision to move here. Kara and the entire team are great. There is not one negative thing I could say about this complex.

Wish you had a good neighbor, otherwise you door will be knocked in midnight frequently just because you let your dog walk inside the apartment.Please do not let the residents take responsibility for the extremely bad sound insulation.

Weve lived here for past 7 years. We were there when it was first Archstone La Jolla Colony then later became Avalaon. We were there when Avalon renovated the inside of the unit therefore had to pack everything in kitchen and in living room and lived in a different furnished unit for a week. We were there when they made endless construction noise for more than 6 months. We were there when there were multiple uninformed water shut-offs, so I wasnt even able to finish shower. Despite all the negative experience, I would say that out of 7 years at Avalon La Jolla Colony, first 6 years were excellent.The community is beautiful. Their newly done fitness center, pool, and common area are the best in town. The maintenance team is excellent. They are very prompt and repairs in timely manner. All the maintenance crew is nice and friendly too. The rent is relatively higher compare to other apartment complex in the area, but I think that you get what you pay for. This is the best apartment community in UTC except for one problem.My only problem with the apartment was the newly moved in neighbor(S) and somewhat careless management. I first had the issue brought up October 2017. The couple was smoking in the patio which faces my master bedroom directly. Even though they renovated the interior, the building is pretty old, so even though I completely closed my window in master bedroom, I was still able to smell the cigarette. Both of them were very heavy smokers. I talked the management more than 10 times, but the problem had never been resolved. The problem became worse when another smoking neighbor moved in. I do understand that Avalaon La Jolla Colony is not a smoke-free community, but I was told that the residents cannot smoke in the common area including patio.Nikki even went to the unit where smoking couple lived, and she eye witnessed a pack of Marlboro in their living room, but the neighbor kept denied that they had quit smoking already. There was no remedy what so ever. We first discussed to moving to a different unit in the same community or getting an air purifier, but there was no vacant unit with the same floor plan (We used to live in 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom unit). I was willing to pay little more to move to another 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms which I was told that I couldnt.When Abigail was a supervisor, I felt that the community was more in control, and ever since she left the community. Things werent the same. Some people put the bamboo fence or even black curtain in the patio. The management no longer checks the patio, and there are so many cigarette butts in the common area. I think it has to do with Hanna, the current manager, not on site everyday. She goes to a different Avalon location on certain days, and there are certain things that Daniel cant do.I was saddened and somewhat upset with the way the management handled such an important issue related to health especially when I lived with my toddler daughter (then two years old). What the management told me instead was that the only solution would be us moving out after living there for 7 years.If you are NOT sensitive about smelling cigarettes, this is your home.P.S. They will not bother to call you or email you to ask for a forwarding address for the security deposit to be mailed nor they will inform you that the leasing office was holding a box of Honest Company diapers delivered to my old unit.

Each year they raise the price of their apartments by $200 (actually it was slightly over $200 this year and thats only in a one bedroom).Dont move here if you intend on settling in and being here more than a year.Youll be vastly disappointed.

Ashley Boyle in the rental office tried to steal my overnight FedEx package and then tried to lie about it. My girlfriend is Chinese-American and Ashley claims that she cannot understand her although my girlfriend speaks great English. Super sketchy, racist and unprofessional in the rental office. The only reason its not one star is because the maintenance crew is simply great.

I have loved living at Avalon Bay. I love the layout, the property, the finishings, the location by the park and the management team. If they had air conditioning it would be a 5.

The place is not quiet at all. During our three-months stay there, there were all kinds of constructions that made everything very unpleasant. We moved out because of the noise mainly and we had to pay a huge fee for leaving earlier. They werent capable of understanding that the place was nothing like what they said it would be and they still charged us. Not even to mention that they take all the time they want to return the security deposit while one is supposed to pay everything immediately.I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody. We had an awful experience.

For the past three years, Ive selected to live in an Avalon Community both in Westchester, New York and now in La Jolla and for many good reasons: the main one being I feel safe. Avalon also is very dedicated to keeping the property grounds clean and tidy. I also enjoy the convenience of using their excellent gym available anytime. The Maintenance Service Personnel are consistently prompt and they have resolved every issue Ive addressed within twenty-four hours.I would also like to say thank you to Abigail Abi and Daniel at the front office for their availability to answer any questions Ive asked to date. ***Im especially grateful to Daniel for going beyond his job description by helping me during a short (or a moments) notice emergency situation; I had to see my surgeon for a special procedure at nearby Scripps Hospital and Daniel rushed into action and contacted an UBER driver via his personal mobile device so I can get there on time. Thank you Daniel for being a fabulous person!***Ive lived in nine cities throughout the world and among the many property management groups Ive chosen — Avalon has my highest endorsement.
