We’ve been living here for about 8 months now, and couldn’t be happier! Love, love, love, living at The Reserve!!! I highly recommend living in this community, where you not only, have all the amenities you could ask for, AMAZING, office staff (shout out to Nancy Lopez!!) and maintenance crew, you are surrounded by every shop you can think of. And finally, and most importantly, safety! This is the most important reason, I live here - you can’t put a price on feeling safe in your home!

Nancy was instrumental in getting us moved into an awesome two bedroom in a speedy timeframe. She made the whole process from apartment selection to approval process to required documentation to handing us the keys as easy as it could have been.

Stayed here for 4 years.The location is great - you are a walking distance from Ralph’s, Karl strauss, banks, Panera, chipotle and baskin Robbins.Apartment itself is well maintained. They replaced our appliances within a day or two. No questions asked.I have to give a shout out to the maintenance team - Hector and Horacio. The best people ever. Always courteous, always prompt and always a smile on their face.So if you’re looking for an apartment around this area, you should check out this property.

I LOVEEEEE THIS PLACE!!! HANDS DOWN THE BEST PERSON TO WORK WITH IS NANCY LOPEZ!! We’ve lived here for 3 years and ever single time she comes through with the timely move in and goes above and beyond beyond her responsibilities. Just last week when my wife and I had to transfer apartments because our family is growing she put in that extra hours to make sure that we got the spot we desired. And she delivered!! She always makes your voice not only FEEL heard but BE heard. We are grateful that our family can continue to live here and have such an amazing person to walk alongside us. THANK YOU NANCY!!!!!!!

My daughter and I moved in the second week of November and it has been nothing but positive and good vibes throughout this community at 4s Reserve . The only thing I miss is talking and seeing Jazzmine which I did daily a month before we moved in . Jazzmine played such an important role in the entire process of getting approved and when there were some hurdles, she supported and went above and beyond to make sure we would be future tenants .We were welcomed by a basket in kitchen filled with necessities and more and living here the last month has been so calm, serene, and we feel so safe . Thank you 4s Reserve leasing team and Jazzmine for making this a memorable move in experience during a past difficult year.

We have been living at The Reserve since 2017 and we have never been disappointed. Through these years we have met such amazing neighbors and we have enjoyed the amenities. A special thank you goes to Nancy from the Leasing Office. She is such a thorough professional which helps resident looking at every detail of their needs. She always helped us and took care of our problems. We wish the best for her career and her life. Another special thank you goes to whole maintenance team especially Hector, Oracio, and Eric which have made our life even better. The Manager at the leasing office has a great leadership and ready to help residents.Its time for us to leave, but well never forget these years at The Reserve. 💙👋💚

Received horrible customer service while attempting to secure an apartment for a family in need of emergency housing. Office employees were rude and outright lied about simple information when requested. This led to a waste of time by all parties.

The apartments are lovely and so is the surrounding area. My wife and I loved going on walks. The reason for 3 stars is the management. After every experience in the management office, I always felt like I had been duped. I would recommend checking in constantly with them to make sure everything (I mean EVERYTHING) is correct. We had one instance where we were overcharged for rent twice! It wasnt until we looked over the bill that we even noticed. So again, just double check everything! It felt like they let a lot fall through the cracks in their favor.

Very poor customer service regarding multiple occurences. The office staff is rude and unaccommodating. One week after they installed new air conditioning units, my AC stopped working. I informed the office and I explained that I need the AC due to health reasons. (My prior AC worked perfectly fine but they required new units to be installed). They told me that this was not an emergency so I would have to wait until later next week and that my request would be put at the bottom of the pile of work requests. I told them that I cannot stand the heat...especially being 3 stories up. They refused to help. The next day which was a holiday, I called the maintenance number and I told them I needed it fixed and that I could not breathe. They told me that they could not fix it for another week. I told him that I could not breathe and he told me to go to a Doctor..they could not troubleshoot my AC and he hung up on me. He would not even give me the name and number of the company that installed these units. I would have hired them to come out to fix this horrendous problem. The next day I had to go to Home Depot and buy a $350. portable AC and install it myself. (which helped cool the place a little bit). 3 hours of my time and I had to find a way to lug it up 2 flights of stairs.In April, maintenance had to fix a kitchen clogged sink. They did not properly fix it the first time so they had to come back one week later because it stopped up again.Last year, maintenance came to my place to replace a blind and the guy left wrappers and stuff all over my living room. I picked it up, but I did not see a 12-inch plastic wrapper that he had thrown on the ground that he had removed from the blind handle. My cat ingested it and I had to take my cat to the vet as an emergency for X-Rays and care. He almost died. I missed a day at work due to this and I had to pay $300.0 in vet bills.The Reserve does not care about their tenants at all.I love the panoramic views here and the interior of the apartments is beautiful, but the customer service is more than lousy.

The office management is horrible. There are always ongoing problems that take a long time to be fixed. Today, the remote to my garage stopped working. I was told it would take up to 48 hours before the maintenance could look at the problem....LEAVING ME LOCKED OUT OF MY GARAGE. They could not even open the garage for me!! Last month, when my brand new AC completely stopped working on the hottest weekend in July, I was told I would have to wait a week before the Reserve could send somebody to look at it. I had to purchase a portable AC at Home Depot for $350.0 in order to survive the heat (due to health issues). The office did not care....they said they can only send help if the problem was fire and flood related. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS.

Nancy she is Assistant Community Manager, I had very good experience with her. I was renewing my lease and she was very helpful, supportive, and she kept me updated, She tried her best to help me . Horrible Customer Service, Very disappointing in the way they treat the people when they are asking about the affordable housing program. Is kind a discriminatory as soon you mention for that option, I traveled from East coast to there few months ago and meet then in person they never gave the tour and proper information about it, then they told me they will call me and never receive a call or response from any of them. Neither a response for set up my appointment. I move to San Diego and ask again and as soon she heard about the housing question, she told me someone will call me a never did it. They are no good company.

We moved into these apartments to bring our child into the Poway School District. Monterrey Ridge and Stone Ranch Elementary, Oak Valley Middle School and Del Norte High School. It is a nice community with public and private parks you can use and shopping within minutes in all directions.The leasing staff was friendly when we signed our lease and took the tour but what was more impressive was we had a maintenance issue, we paid out of pocket to get it fixed at around 3am and the very next day they credited our rent with a reimbursement. Amy acted fast and friendly to our situation and solved the issue. So far, our experience has been excellent and our apartment is really nice. Lots of natural light and a very quiet community at night time.

I made an online application and called in the other day to get more information. They apologized and said that the room had specific requirements (family annual income should be lower than a value) and was an error of their system not to inform. I was told would be refunded for the full value including processing fee since was their mistake. When I received the check was $400 instead of the $470 of the application.My experience was far from good, in the best case they made 2 consecutive mistakes.

The most unprofessional leasing office experience I’ve ever had. I spoke to someone over the phone to schedule a tour and they took down my email, phone etc I was given pricing info and additional info about the amenities. I drove 2 hours from La just to see it in person, I came prepared to pay my deposit and submit an application. Right as we walked in the receptionist was telling another couple they didn’t have any tour scheduled and that they wouldn’t be able to help them. What do you know they also didn’t have my appointment scheduled and basically acted as if I had made a mistake. I double checked and i did talk to their leasing office last week. Don’t waste your time with their inept office workers.

Pros:Location cannot be beat! Walking distance (5 mins or less) to restaurants, and shopping.Modern design interior with spacious living room and kitchen.Two pools.Top notch schools.Responsive facilities and maintenance crew.Cons:Very small rooms. Master is not a master bedroom at all.Dated appliances. Cheap low end washer/dryer.No elevator for 3 story bldg! Have fun moving furniture. Backache here I come.Poor design interior. E.g., kitchen needs light switch at either end, not just by front door. Seems minor but pain to walk across room just to turn a switch.No privacy at all! Everyones window blinds are closed for a purpose. Rooms facing public hallways. Neighbors looking right down into your apartment.Since blinds are always closed, the apartment is always dark.Super tiny balcony.Very little trees. Lots of hardscape.Super strict parking (which is good and bad). They tow residents who park in visitor space.Dirty stairwells. Broken door handles. Dirty doors that need paint. Stick substance in stairwell like dried up Pepsi. Yuk!Kitchen sink is shallow. Can barely fit dishes.Rinky-dink dishwasher. Super cheap!Im a home chef. The stove SUCKS! Can barely get oil to sizzle even on high. Portable camper stove flame quality. Total joke!All in all, its a decent place to live . . . if it werent for the super nice location and access to top-notch schools, this place would be very ordinary. It would be better if they spent money on better maintenance of building stairwells, added some trees for privacy and beauty, and spruced up appliances.The place is marketed as up-scale, but its a moderate apartment complex in up-scale community is all. The complex itself, and especially appliances and interiors design (small attention to detail stuff) are not upscale.

Management is awful. My parking space neighbor peels out of her parking space and has nearly hit my young children on several occasions. I asked management to re-locate my parking space (I dont even care if its further away) and they refused. The woman living between the model units on the first floor smokes cigarettes non-stop and leaves her front door wide open with the smoke lingering non-stop for all passer-bys to have to walk thru. Management refuses to acknowledge that she is breaking the lease with all of her smoking inside of her apartment causing other units to smell her cigarette smoke. Instead, management continues to send monthly reminders to ALL units in the building that smoking is prohibited. The woman literally lives between the 2 model units with her door open constantly and the fact that management wont do anything about it is astonishing. Additionally, since my downstairs neighbors moved in this past summer, theyve made rude comments to me and to my 2 young daughters. The have come up to my door on multiple occasions even after being told my management not to come to my door anymore. The last time they did this, man threatened me and the woman slapped him loudly and hard across the face in front of my 5 year old daughter. I reported their behavior to the police who said they would be arresting the woman and I reported this to management. Management does not care that they have been harassing me and violating their lease. I would absolutely never recommend this complex to anyone else.UPDATE 12/11/2018: Contrary to management’s response below, Robyn has NOT reached out to me, nor has anyone else from management. With regard to my parking space, I spoke with Amy in person at the front office about it back in February and aparently it wasn’t worth management noting my file with my request to move parking spaces. Why post responses to reviews when you don’t intend to follow thru on anything you say? My downstairs neighbors are STILL harassing me but it still doesn’t warrant the complex taking any actual action. There’s zero incentive to even contact management anymore about issues when they do nothing they say they will do. Disappointing.

Its close to stores in a good neighbor hood. Updated everything washer and dryer in unit with granite countertops. Car garage is small but this is California lol. The leasing office staff are nice and helpful. The Maintenance man are helpful too if you take the time to talk to them. One bedroom for about 1500 (military discount) whenever we moved and stayed for 2 years. Only moved because relocated to another city

Very poor Maintenance service. Priority was not given for emergency request. Spent 3 days to fix clogged sink, multiple follow up, multiple visit to office. Now locked door, called their emergency number its been 4 hours now no one showed up. I never choose to live here again. Waiting for my lease term to end. Placing a request and finding someone to fix the problem is very painful activity here.
