I am a new resident and it was great to work with a great staff who helped me through the whole process. Angela was the main person who assisted me. She was friendly, responded very quickly to my calls and emails, and was able to answer all of my questions in a timely manner. I was also assisted by Brianna and April. They were also friendly and were quick to help me through my application process. All of them were cheerful, kind and made the experience as smooth and transitional.

Breanna has been and continues to be the most personable leasing consultant Ive ever worked with, even though leasing consultant doesnt give her enough credit. When my girlfriend and I first started touring Sofi, she greeted us with a warm, friendly demeanor, and didnt hesitate to do whatever it took to help us find the perfect home, such as touring numerous units, exploring every amenity the community offered, and even showing us around the sister community as well to see if it would be a better fit.Its now been 3 months since moving in, and she still remembers us by name and always greets and chats with us, which really makes this community feel like one big happy family. Along with that, we of course have the wonderful Sofi apartment were living in now!I cannot endorse Breanna Ruiz enough, as Im confident that youll be very satisfied working with her from introduction to signing your lease.

In my 11 years of renting in San Diego County, I never has such a wonderful experience then I have had with Sofi Highlands.Angela and her staff have taken what is usually a stressful process and made it as painless as possible. The customer service they have provided is rarely ever seen in this industry; I truly feel that they have gone above for myself and my roommates.Thank you Angela and team!

Angela DaCosta is a professional through and through. She went above and beyond to help me and my family as we relocated to San Diego and I cannot recommend her enough. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we did not stay at Sofi Highlands but we know the property management plays a big role in the apartment experience so we feel like we would have loved it here.

I Love this Place!! After 2 weeks of looking and more than 20 places all over San Diego we finally found a place where to call home!!!The Manager assistant Angela answered my phone call immediately plus she was very polite and Profesional.She has replied to us quickly when we are in need of office or personal questions.The house was spotless!!!No smell of smoke ( we went to many places that state they’re free of smoke and still smelled like it)Rooms are large!!My Family and I Loves the neighborhood, safe and quiet 😇Beautiful place*Helpful and friendly and efficient staff *

What a lovely place to live in specially during this hard times.I really enjoy my town house and having people who work here being kind to you. Recently I had some problems at my place that needed maintenance done and as soon as I post my request I get a follow up from Ms Vanessa what a lovely person and so educated . Also maintenance being so quick at getting it done.The only reason I can’t give it a 5 star it’s because how rude one of the ladies is, I’m not sure why if she’s a manager I believe Ms Serem I believe its her name I really wish she would be more approachable and kind to the residents.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! I wish I knew their move-out costs before I moved in because we paid over $2,000 and lived there 8months due to military orders. We left everything in great condition and I couldn’t believe it! They overcharge way too much! To all my military people, you should definitely not stay here. They make everything so complicating for us. They get 1 star for their maintenance staff who is quick and very efficient. As for their staff, they are very rude, especially a lady named “Sedum”. Her attitude alone will prevent me from moving back there when we get orders there again!

This place is sucks . they don’t know how talk to you . all this employee is rude 😡😡😡after i leave this place they take my all deposit and they charge me 1300$ for nothingmy APT was clear they still charge 😡😡😡😡

Pros:Front office staff are nice, maintenance is quick and respectful. Great neighbors! All our neighbors’ smile, wave and make small talk as they walk by. There’s adequate storage in the smaller two-bedroom apartment.Cons:Small kitchen, little prep space. Parking spaces are NARROW and are not designed for trucks or SUV’s. “Visitor” parking spots are used primarily by residents with multiple vehicles.Tips:Don’t sign any paperwork or put down a deposit until you’re ready to lock in your rate. Neighboring property was $200 cheaper. If you can afford the extra money go with the larger garage, the small garage is TIGHT. Ask which parking spot comes with your apartment. Some are wider, longer, or corner spots so you don’t have cars denting both sides of your vehicle.

Nice well maintained apartments, with poor management staff.The apartments at Sofi Highlands are very nice, with garages for each unit and upgraded fixtures. However, if you ever need something from the office staff be prepared to wait for several days and have to follow-up yourself to get information or help from them.

Unfortunately there is no way to give zero stars which still may be too many as zero is the number of 💩s the management gives about its tenants.

Danielle was very helpful with providing information when we came in! Because of her service, we chose to go with this apartment. Fingers crossed the move-in process goes smoothly!

You guys are awesome, Thanks for giving me a warning notice on illegal parking on future resident parking on Saturday.Also I would be happy if there is a lawn or courtyard somewhere in the community where my daughter can run and play and where dogs are not allowed.

Warning: Do not do business with this apartment complex or the property management company - Alliance Residential Company. I moved into the complex over two years ago with promises of a new gym, a safe community (it is gated), and a friendly environment. Two years later - a tiny, smelly gym with broken machines, stolen packages from my front porch by a neighboring resident (with no repercussions to the resident, by the way), a complex full of people from around the community using the basketball courts and pool facilities so often that residents are not able to utilize them, and no parking at all for guests (the few visitor spots around the community were painted over with numbers, but ended up actually being allocated for maintenance staff to park). I was offered a free carpet shampoo with each lease renewal, but was never able to redeem them, despite numerous requests to schedule them. Now after moving out, Im being charged for hours of cleaning (where there was maybe an hour to do) and a carpet shampoo. Funny, no? I was offered a complimentary $99 shampoo two years in a row, those were never able to be done and now Im being charged $120 for a shampoo. Not only are they some of the most expensive apartments in the area, they now nickle-and-dime you even after you move out. Renter Beware.

Im felt like I never needed to write a review before but Ive been living at Compass Pointe for almost 4 years. Ive never had a problem with this place until the new manager Candyse became manager. The manager before, Wendy was incredible and she was there for the people. Wendy always put the people first and made your experience living there amazing.Candyse is the most horrible manager i have ever had to deal with it and most of my neighbors have left because of her. The staff located in the office do not respect her and she treats them bad as well. Alliance needs to really look at this before moving forward with her as management. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Not happy living here anymore.

I love living here!!! So quiet, peaceful, calm, beautiful neighborhood!
