Worst and most arrogant leasing team I ever seen. The team have absolutely 0 attitude to provide service to their clients, especially my agent for her brilliant professional skill.(The only skill they are good at is to blame their customers)

SUMMARYNice views and the new building make for a pleasant experience. Management and concierge care about residents. Bro culture on the rise and really starting to take over. Little Italy isnt as peaceful as people would lead you to believe.PROS+ General Manager Brian as well as Carlos at the concierge are both incredibly hard workers, personable, and genuinely care. They really bring a professional level of service to the building.+ View from rooftop is stunning (both of the city and the bay).CONS- Bro culture was becoming a problem by the time I left. Two or three bros deciding to live together so they can tell their friends to come over to party at their rooftop pool.- People at the pool get really sloppy, really quickly.- They raised rents during COVID which felt a little tone-deaf. This was from corporate, not management.- Packages arent delivered to your door. Youll need to visit the concierge several times a day so they can open a backroom to look for your package.

We lived at Luma for nearly two years and we have not one negative comment. Not. One.The units are beautifully appointed, the professional staff is amazing, and the amenities are second to none. We only moved due to military transfer. Brian K should be commended for his excellence in professional manner, market knowledge, communication, relationship development, and leadership. So sad to leave Luma......

We love living at LUMA. Brian K. and the rest of the team have been so helpful and accommodating, especially during COVID-19. We highly recommend living at LUMA. You cant beat the location, amenities and cleanliness of the building. Were excited for the quarantine to be lifted so we can start enjoying our beautiful building again.

Amenities are great but it seems like the majority of people who are at the pool don’t live here. People are all on floats and currently setting up a volley ball game. These people also have so many bags like it’s a picnic which is a clue that they don’t probably don’t even live here. Not to be a Scrooge but there need to be a guest policy as things are getting out of hand. There’s no seats for people who actually live here.

I found these apartments by accident. I walked in a few days ago and inquired about leasing and had an appointment scheduled a few hours later! The staff were very cordial and good at communicating. Mrs. Lewis, the leasing agent was very enthusiastic and inspiring during the whole showing. Ive been to many high-rises in San Diego but I think the Luma tops all of them in terms of luxury and lifestyle. Theres so much to do from a stroll in Little Italy to working out and hosting meetings on the top floor with breathtaking views of Downtown, Little Italy, and parts of the Harbor. I only have one good photo to share but Id definitely take the trip to visit, you wont regret it.

This place has the worst leasing management! Nobody returns calls left messages for two days and nobody answers the leasing line Complained to the concierge but he just transferred me as well. How do they rent anything out if they don’t even pick up the phone? Looking at reviews will pass and if they aren’t not picking up the phone now, they definitely won’t when you need them.

Luma is more than a place to live. Its a place to live with a community that creates a family. The concierge team and the maintenance crew go above and beyond in all they do. Brians continuous oversight is amazing too.Amazing. So grateful to know all I do about Luma. I hope you get to learn for yourself someday too.

Just recently moved to San Diego and in our apartment shopping Luma was my top pick, I was very happy that in our tour I was right. Luma community is fabulous place to live. Derek and Whitney in leasing were absolutely amazing and patience, and let me see whatever floor plan I wanted as many times to make sure that we were happy with our decision. The gym is fabulous, Im currently outside on the top floor working and writing this, honestly its amazing.Brenda is a joy to see, she always has an amazing smile, has answered all of my questions with the most amazing customer service. She has made me feel most welcome and always has a treat for my pups!!If you are looking for luxury living in a prime spot look no further, Luma has it all.Update: have lived here for over a month now and couldnt be happier.

We recently moved in to Luma and are so excited that this is our new home! Great new property, fantastic amenities that are second to none in Little Italy and best of all a hardworking staff that is warm and friendly. Brenda, the concierge extraordinaire, has been particularly fantastic! She truly cares about the building and the people living here. Juan in maintenance has also gone above and beyond for us in the few days we’ve lived here. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars yet is because we have been having issues with our AC since we’ve moved in but I guess things take time to get worked out in a new building. Overall, a very positive experience here at Luma so far!

You’re NOT welcome!3 of us were looking for 2 units 1 br and a studioIt was 5pm an HOUR before closing and receptionist in a polite and professional way told that NO ONE IS AVAILABLE to show apartmentsThen I asked him if a MANAGER who was sitting behind the glass door can help us and show a unit because we are leaving the next day and cannot rescheduleManager was so busy that DIDN’T EVEN COME OUT to even try to resolve the issue! If management is NOT INTERESTED to sell you the lease they WILL NOT be interested in addressing your concerns once you moved in!

Lennar does it again. I thought Shift was it for me but after visiting Luma. The area is ideal close to the 5 fwy, airport, lots of eateries and the best farmers market in little Italy. This is going to be such a nice community to live in.

My boyfriend and I stopped by to look at one of the units there, it was incredible the rooftop terrace was the most amazing part of all, also their leasing agent Derek, he is very attentive and fun, unfortunately my job is up north county and it will be a long commute but even their front desk concierge Brenda was very accommodating and she recommend us a place to grab dinner afterwards.

I havent been to the building - A big part of the reason is its impossible to get anyone from their leasing office to respond. First, I was in contact from Derek from their office. He said they didnt have prices yet, but would send them when he did. I kept following up, they didnt have it and then he stopped responding and never sent anything. Then, I inquired again a couple weeks later and again, no one responded.I have tried calling and no one answers their phones.Maybe theyre renting so fast that they dont even need to care/worry about their inquiries?

The building is amazing and the customer service has been great. Brenda runs the concierge for the building, and has been putting on amazing events for the residents - most recently was the St Paddys Day pool party.Kristina and Whitney have certainly made our move-in easy and welcoming. We had elaborate welcome packages when we moved in, which really made us feel valued as residents. They truly went above and beyond. The amenities are arguably the nicest in San Diego. Between the rooftop pool, enormous rooftop hot tub, common areas and 24th floor gym, they really didnt spare any expense building this place out.The other residents are social and were starting to get to know everyone quickly. I would highly recommend this LUMA apartments. My gf and I toured just about every spot in Little Italy and this is certainly the nicest option.

The fobs to the elevators don’t work. Everyone wastes ten minutes everyday trying to get their fob to work with the elevator. I’ve been stuck in the elevator multiple times because I’m unable to select a floor with the fob. It’s extremely frustrating and needs to be fixed.
