Hi. My name is Nancy and I live at the pacific at mission bay and wanted to leave a review of my positive experience living here for the last 4 years. It’s been an absolute joy living here and has been a very safe community to live in. We have an excellent management staff and maintenance crew that is managed by Elide our manger who I can’t speak highly enough about. She also lives on the property so she is very tuned in to residents needs. They have taken many extra steps to make our community safe and fun. As a female living here I feel very safe and love the other residents in our community. They took extra precautions to keep everyone safe during COVID. They just added in new lighting, paint and many other renovations to our community including parking and storage. The maintenance crew is amazing especially Angel who I can’t speak highly enough about. If your looking for an apartment in pacific beach this is the place to come! The summers here are a ton of fun, it’s affordable, great residents, safe and has an amazing crew working here to take care of any of your needs. I highly recommend this community ❤️

The community is very nice; but what has stood out to me is the staff. I tend to keep to myself, I don’t really try to rock the boat or expect issues to be resolved by others however I was incredibly and pleasantly surprised by one person in particular, Angel. She is the backbone of the community. She is friendly and completes her duties in an above and beyond fashion. Since I moved in, Angel has always been kind, and makes an extra effort (even if it would be more work for her) to take care of me and my issues and any qualms I might have. She is an excellent person, and her work ethic is exactly what every property should aspire to acquire when hiring staff. Angel is not only a vital member of the community but an overall kindhearted and genuine person who has made my experience living in the pacific at mission bay a truly wonderful experience

I was able to tour the complex & overall good community. It was clean, with a tropical like landscape and various amenities that I LOVED. I liked what I saw, newer homes with upgraded features which was a plus! I’m excited to move here once they have availability. Staff was very easy to communicate with and extremely friendly. It’s so close to the water, & that’s my FAV!!!!!

Every time I come to the property it’s always looking good. The manager, Elide, is helpful and quick to assist. Residents are a pleasure to work with and friendly. Angel is the first to greet me with a positive attitude. The new secretary in the office, Breanna is great.

A really quite small community environment which is perfect for me and my family. Right next to the bay and less than 2 miles from the beach. Quite large apartments for a beach apartment complex. The move in process was quite simple the staff was extremely helpful ask for Elide she makes things happen. Overall a great place to live

Ive been living here since May of this year and I can honestly say I love it! The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming.In particular I want to express my appreciation to the maintenance supervisor Rico. He is the hardest working person I have ever met.He is what holds the property together. I usually come back from the gym early in the morning at it is 6:30am and I already see him working with a smile. I return from work and he is still working.I just wish residents would care for our Community the same way he takes care of us. Thank you for everything you do!

First of all, I would just like to say that Joselyn at the front desk is an angel! She took the time to answer every single one of my questions and was very accommodating. Working with her made the whole moving process so much easier and so so much less stressful! I’ve only lived here a few days, but so far everyone has been nice and I don’t have any bad things to say. I love my new apartment and if everything goes as well as it has over the past few days, then I am going to love living here. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due!

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a decent place near my job. This place fits my budget and the location is great. The property was VERY CLEAN. I was place on the waiting for a 2 bedroom. Hopefully they have something soon.

Justin is absolutely incredible maintenance supervisor. Always very helpful and punctual. He always goes above and beyond expectation. Thank you very much!

I moved here during Covid and have been impressed at their efforts to heighten the sense of community through monthly activities. Candy on halloween, thankfulness events on Thanksgiving, candy and a note for Valentines day, etc. The amenities are well kept/clean, the apartments are modern (very soundproof too), and the new Amazon mailbox is awesome! I would highly recommend living here!

Great apartments and amenities, but the best is the staff! Awesome people, great mood, always taking care of the tenants and ready to help. Highly recommended!

This place is great, and Angel is amazing! She always helps with anything and everything!! She is always working hard, and with a smile on her face! My dogs race to her anytime they see her! She definitely helps keep things running efficiently!

Thoroughly enjoy living here. Close to restaurants, the beach and very easy freeway access. Staff is the nicest and overall the environment is awesome. 10/10 would recommend.

TERRIBLE.The location is by far the best thing about this place. MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. If you like water shut offs weekly (without notice), constant maintenance issues and loud dogs barking all around the complex, then this is the place for you. There are no words to describe the lazy and inefficient mindset of the management team here. How on earth the corporate office allows this place to be run by these people I’ll never know. Save your money and your time. We are moving out and we’ve only been here 5 months. It’s absolutely awful.

Its always a pleasure working with the staff here! Rico, Angel, and Elody are quick to accommodate with an projects that need extra assistance with the resisents. The property is well kept and great coffee at the office.

I reviewed this property and its amazing the employees are very helpful and nice clean place and beautiful I refer anyone I know to these apartments im from out of town visit your community and thinking about moving to San Diego and you were for sure pick our community first!

Stuff are very good and friendly and everything is always clean the office staff outstanding and angel the housekeeper outstanding and very kind I love it here

Let me just say this is such a beautiful community. Its very well maintained and the grounds are very well kept. The customer service I received was exceptional, the office staff are super friendly they made me feel special and welcomed. Walking around the community made me feel as I was walking around a mini resort. I also love the view across the street from the properties location. This little experience has definitely changed my standards, I recommend everyone to check it out!

No two apt. properties are the same. Like people, each has a character unique onto itself. Born in the Caribbean, grew up in NY, and have lived all around SD county. The Pacific at Mission Bay, while not perfect, as to be expected in an imperfect world, is the best place Ive ever lived! I can go into details, but will leave you with this, like that dream car, or that dream partner, you cherish it for what it is, but more so because of how it makes you feel. The Pacific at Mission Bay, made me feel like I was home: comfortable, and secure, without having to inconvenience myself, while allowing be to be exactly who I want to be!

Recently moved in 😊 Love the property and all the amenities included! Elide was very helpful over the phone with providing information and details about the property. Joselyn did an awesome job giving us a tour when we first came to view the available units. And also had our move in run very smoothly! Overall a great experience!

Great location, minutes away from the beach. Management and staff were very friendly, Joselyn was very helpful and informative on our tour. She answered all my questions and made me feel welcomed. Awesome amenities and clean property. Highly recommend the community.

The new maintenance supervisor was quick to respond to an issue, and fixed the problem correctly.

Angel Evans is very kind courteous helpful and always professional answering any question I have. Ricardo is great too he can fix anything and in a timely manner Both make my living experience here much more pleasant!

The office staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, Elody and Jocelyn answered all my questions. Well kept community. Convenient location. I could see myself actually living in a community such as this.

DO NOT LIVE HERE THEY WILL STEAL $500 FROM YOUR DAMAGE DEPOSIT AND SAY YOU NEVER PAID IT. THIS PLACE IS A DISGRACE AND A JOKE.ELEVATORS ARE NOT UP TO DATE WITH PERMITS, dangerous and always broken.If a zero star or negative stars were available that would be their rating. Terrible staff all together. Front staff will not return your calls once they have your money. Place is very cheaply built. Paper thin windows, can hear everything in the complex. Workers will park in your parking spot so when you come home from work you have to go to the office to complain since they do not answer their phones or have to park blocks away from your home. Cockroach infestations, lie about putting in new gym equipment (said they were replacing when I moved in, still not started 13 months later) they lie to try and get you to live there. Yes it’s gated but most the time the gates are open because of the workers or from people on drugs going in and out as they please. Says they have a security guard every night for safety but he comes maybe once a week when they feel like paying someone. This is BY FAR THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED AT.DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. A WASTE OF MONEY.

Absolutely disgusting place. Moved in 3 months ago, found live and dead cockroaches upon move in. Notified management immediately, pest inspector was sent out, a plumber was sent out, yet nothing has been done to rectify the issue. This place is infested with cockroaches, they’re in the bathrooms, kitchen, out in the common areas. DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE LIVING WITH ROACHES

Maintenance team has always knocked it out of the park whenever there was an issue. Super quick to fix anything.

Like the other reviews I would leave a negative rating if I could. The property manager Autumn is incompetent and will come after you if you complain about simple tenant rights. If we hadnt gotten out of there when we did we were going to serve her with a cease and desist letter. If I could sum it in one word it would be SCAM!!! Even if you leave your apartment in the exact same condition as when you moved in you will not only NEVER see your deposit but they will have the audacity to charge you. They get as much money as they can from you and when you move they will use it renovate their places and jack up the price for the next tenant. Meanwhile our neighbors had mold growing in their dirty outdated carpets for YEARS which the management has done NOTHING about. 3 people we knew here needed to get a lawyer to combat Autumn and her terrible management. DONT LIVE HERE!

Close to the beach and a bus ride away from the city center. The Pacific was very well situated and easy to access. Funny neighbors and easy going management.

Extra fees raise rent by several hundred dollars. Complex has stolen shopping carts everywhere, overflowing trash cans and property managers who never answer the phone or do anything.Building is ancient with no insulation and no AC. Walls are paper thin and the entire complex vibrates every time a truck drives by the busy street nearby. Obnoxious neighbors include a biker gang who rev their engines in the complex and a mechanic who uses one of the garages to do loud work in the middle of the night below your windows...

STAY AWAY!!!! By far the worst place to live. The staff is incompetent and rude, they do not answer their phones or return calls or emails. After living here for 10 of a 12 months lease there has not a month thats gone by that things needed to be fixed and were never fixed correctly so maintenance had to come back and fix it. Maintenance does NOT clean up after themselves, so beware of your personal property they ended up having to pay me $350 due to damage to my property and inconveniences. I highly recommend looking somewhere else as much as this is a great location, the pain, suffering and BS that you have to deal with here is NOT worth it. I lived at the Pacific Heights property in Pacific Beach but its the same company thats running both The Pacific and Pacific Heights. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!

My boyfriend and I chose this complex without even visiting it as wed moved from Pennsylvania. Our choice was based on the size of the apartment (800+ square ft. for a one bedroom, the amenities/bonuses (jacuzzi, pool, balcony, workout room, lounge), and the proximity to the University of San Diego. The location is very convenient as it is about 2 minutes off of the 5 and located in W. Pacific Beach so there isnt much of the party scene - it is fairly quiet. There is access right outside our apartment (we overlook the Rose Creek; which I recommend requesting as the view is quite nice as compared to other apartments that look out over Grand, Hornblend, or a small side road) to the Rose Creek bike path that can swing you out onto the Mission Bay Loop (about 10 minute walk). Also, there is a basketball court right across the street to shoot hoops when youre in the mood. The apartment itself is wonderful, although the walls dont keep out sound as much as I would like. We can hear the child who lives next to us crying often. We had a couple of times where the folks below us complained about the stomping around of my young nephew - even though he wasnt jumping around like crazy. The maintenance is so helpful, McGuiveresque, and sweet. They have fresh, delicious cookies in the office almost everyday. One of the few negatives to living here is that they cumulate the total water usage of all the apartments and then divide it by units. So if you are a conservative water user and that helps lower your utilities, you dont get to bank on that here. The jacuzzi has crummy jets and isnt as hot as youd like. I am writing this while sitting in the common area by the pool where you can get free wifi access - right near the outdoor grills. It is a beautiful little common area where you can have cookouts and soak up some sun. Parking is a bit frustrating, as we anticipated having parking access for free - this is not the case. You get parking IF there are any spaces available when you sign your lease. If not, you can put your name on a waiting list and/or pay $50 for a garage space. I would recommend this complex for sure - the management is helpful and accessible, the maintenance and grounds workers are wonderful!, there are a few things as mentioned above that could be improved but I feel that youll have that with any apartment complex. Its funny that they run an ad on Craigslist for for a price of 1800 for two bedrooms, and the actual price is 2500. This called a false advertisement. First impression of the building, tenants, and management was bad. Avoid!!
