My wife and I scheduled a tour to the view the property and we were so impressed and happy with the experience we had with Jasmine. She was AMAZING! Her customer service was some of the best Ive ever experienced. The property was vey clean and very well kept. She went the extra mile to try to accommodate our requirements and found out about a particular unit that we were interested in. It was no longer listed but she found out that it was still available. She made us feel so comfortable and welcome without feeling pressured. We ultimately decided on another property as the unit was larger but it would have been a pleasure living at F11. If the customer service we received from Jasmine was any indication of what our overall experience would have been as residents of F11, we would have even happy to call F11 our home.
This is a letter I wrote the division manager of F11 about my experience there.Hello,I hope this message finds you well. Ill try to be brief, but I dont think good reviews should be. As an employer myself, I know the value in having good people on your team.I really cant say enough about Jasmine. I stumbled into your building about 2 weeks ago. I had an appointment to view Idea-1 and saw the sign for F11, which Id never heard of. Jasmine greets me and tells me the only listing available was the 1bdr unit for $2799. When I told Jasmine it was out of my price range, she said she understood and then proceeded to pull up surrounding apartment buildings to help me find something in my price point! She totally didnt have to do that. She could have just sent my cheap behind packing, but she said she understood how overwhelming finding an apartment downtown can be.I toured several apartments in the coming days and ultimately submitted an application at The Pinnacle (not one of Jasmines recommendations). After reading the horrific reviews on Yelp, I quickly changed my mind. I realized that you get what you pay for and the higher price is well worth it for a better living experience. (I protect my peace at all costs, so staying somewhere Im safe and comfortable is a priority.)After reading all 9 of the Yelp reviews on F11, and recalling the experience I had with Jasmine, I knew F11 would be my home. I booked an appointment with Jasmine and by some MIRACLE that gorgeous apartment with the wrap-around balcony was still available! I now call it home.Thank you for hiring good talent and providing me an A1 experience. Dora also deserves a glowing review. She was with me on my visit to actually tour the property and totally fit the F11 culture - chill vibes and good energy. You have a very strong team.P.S. You also parked in my spot today...feel free to throw the car in with the apartment. Thanks!
I have lived at F11 for two years, and have loved every second of it! The staff is amazing. They are incredibly responsive, friendly, and take resident feedback seriously. On the rare chance I have a maintenance request, it is handled efficiently and professionally. The building security makes me feel safe, and the location is great. With regards to COVID-19, I have been kept well-informed of the building’s guidelines, and changes to rules in the common areas. It seems that there is always someone cleaning the common spaces such as the elevators and hallways, which is very comforting! I would recommend F11 to anyone looking to experience the best of East Village.
Super impressed by F11! Everything has been great. The apartments are coming together beautifully and the views of downtown are gorgeous. The amenities are well laid out and feel very accommodating. The leasing team has been extremely professional and welcoming. The wait has definitely been worth it, we are in love with this place!
Ill be honest, I was a bit hesitant coming here given the lack of reviews. My one-week experience, however, has been overwhelmingly positive, save one or two things. Long review incoming.1) STAFF - 5 stars: My leasing agent, Nashely, is a rock star. She has been with me since the moment I have called and has answered every question I can think of (and I think of a lot of questions!). And the cool thing is, she still is involved with me and other tenants because she really cares. Mike and Mark are both facilities and are experts on the building. Any work order I submit is resolved with expedience and proficiency. Everyone here is very, very nice and professional! Great food and activity recommendations from locals.2) LOCATION - 5 stars: You cant beat where this place is. Less than ten minutes walk from Gaslamp Quarter proper, you are *right* next to all of the amazing restaurants and bars on fifth and sixth avenues.Have a bicycle? Your life is so easy! Five minute bike ride to Petco Park for the Padres game. Padres are pretty bad, but its still a fun experience! There is a discount grocery store one block away that has cheap, name brand products. Also Albertsons nearby (like a Kroger or Publix). Work at Navy Base San Diego? 8 minute drive, 20 minute bike ride. Amazing. 1.7 miles from Balboa Park (and the Zoo) and the ferry to Coronado. 10 minutes drive, 30 minutes bike to Mission Valley (Target, Best Buy, many others stores). All great biking. Get a used bike from The Bike Revolution, nearby. The only downside is the not unnoticeable homeless presence. And there are some crazy ones. Ive never really had trouble with them, but just a fair warning. Honestly though, theyre present everywhere. Its unavoidable.3) FACILITIES - 4 stars: Pictured is my studio. The room is phenomenal. Everything is brand new. Appliances: stainless steel Whirlpool oven, refrigerator, microwave. Amana dishwasher. Built-in washer and dryer from Electrolux. COX internet.I LOVE the kitchen, shower, and sinks. Its all decked out in Moen, so it not only looks nice- it IS nice. Very nice. Even a 1/2HP Moen sink disposal. Granite counter top, TONS of storage space. My unit has a balcony, which is super nice. I usually just leave the door open during the day when Im home. Dont even need the AC (yet). Do I even need to rave about my MASSIVE WINDOW? So much natural light, its awesome. One star off for construction for now. The amenities are not quite ready. Ive been here over a week at the time of this writing, and the pool is still not open to use. Neither is the Zen Garden area with the grills. Or the game room. I have to ask someone to let me in if I want to use it, which is really just too much trouble to be worth it.Theres builder board in the elevators and in the hallways. It really is a shame because if youre paying for amenities you should be able to use them. So they basically opened too early. But its live-able, for sure.4) PRICE and SECURITY - 5 stars: I expected a place like this to be a couple hundred more expensive. Coming from Atlanta, Im used to expensive apartments, so I was ready for that. But its a good deal (when all of the amenities become useable for sure). $20/month for garage parking. $20/month for valet trash. Military gets $200 off deposit. First month is free with a 13-month lease.Security wise, its really good. Free locked bike storage if you want it. Fob to get in building and up the elevator. Key to get in room (why not make it all fob if youre already on the fob trip? But I digress). Balcony door and entrance both lock.SUMMARY: No regrets. If you want an affordable place with excellent appliances, service, and location, then come here! Just expect a bit of construction. Grateful to have found F11 for my first stint in San Diego.
My fiancé and I moved from Del Mar back to downtown about seven months ago. We looked at so many apartments and we were just taken away with the way we were treated by Candice. Candice showed us more then four units before we decided to sign a lease. During our tour she was so patient and very knowledgeable she even allowed us to come back twice just to measure the space prior to our move in. When we moved in Jasmine and Candice were amazing, they made sure we had everything set for moving day and all our questions were answered. To this day we’re still happy we chose to make F11 our new home. Jasmine and Candice truly are great asset to the company and should be recognized for all their hard work.
Having to move for the first time can be daunting. It’s also a lot scarier moving from the east coast to the west coast. Out of endless apartment hunting I’m glad I chose F11 East Village as my apartment. My journey moving from New York to San Diego was definitely a difficult task, it was also my first time moving. But the staff here: Jasmine, Candice, & Alex : made my transition a lot smoother and they guided me through every step of the way.LOCATION:The location is fantastic. Being in the heart of East Village, the apartment is located in Downtown San Diego with multiple areas to explore; events to attend; and places to see. Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Coronado, Petco Park, San Diego Convention Center, San Diego’s Little Italy, Gaslamp = are all fun and engaging places that define downtown life here. (All of which are walkable, or within a 10 minute drive).BUILDING:-The building is a decent sized apartment complex compared to other larger ones I’ve visited. But I look at this as a PRO. I personally find the less people, the more inviting it is (Also less names to remember). But it’s also a lot nicer to get to know a small group of people in an apartment complex rather than a large number of people you barely see/recognize. I highly recommend visiting for a tour to get a general sense of the space and environment.-Pet friendly-My studio apartment is modern and consists of all the latest standard appliances. It’s a lot of space for me and the layouts given can provide a lot of potential.-The building itself is next to a trolley, and depending on your unit / side you’re facing / how high you are, you can hear it pass by from time to time. It reminds me of New York so it personally doesn’t bother me.MANAGEMENT:The most important thing about any establishment is the people that runs it. Jasmine, Candice, and Alex have treated me with the greatest tier of respect and their generosity is not unnoticed.Having to walk to work everyday, I always get to see their bright and genuine smiles. I’m greeted every morning and welcomed back after a long day of work. These little interactions always brightens up my day. They’re not just a “staff” or “property manager”, they truly treat you as if you are a friend!
Jasmine and Candace are very friendly and a great help. Apartments are spacious and good views on downtown.
Candyce, Jasmine and Alex are lifesavers! They were able to move me into a unit in no time. Which was crucial because I was moving across country and unfamiliar with the area. I had a u haul to pack out, start a new job and find a place to live in. Initially they were able to get the lease agreement done in 1 day and were prompt on all request, correspondence and questions I had. They gave me all the information about the area. Places to see and events to go to. The service didn’t just end as I signed a lease! Customer service is their priority. They are on the ball and glad I choose F11. Location is convenient as you have an easy commute into the city and out of the city. Walking distance to numerous bars/kitchens. The Shared Common area is cleaned and checked on by staff on a daily basis.
Everything is SO nice and Nashley, Mike, and Jasmine have been extremely helpful and accommodating! Ive only been here for a few weeks but I love it and I would recommend it to anyone :)
Nearing completion!
Luxury for me
