I just found the best hairstylist ever! If you are in need of a cut and are looking for a great hairstylist Annissa is your girl. My daughter and I went in for haircuts and she did a phenomenal job. Keep in mind we are very particular of who cuts our hair 😬. No regrets what so ever. Highly recommend her. Satisfied customer and will definitely be going back to her.

I set an appointment with visible changes at la cantera for 6pm . I arrived at 5:45 pm and was told that my appt time was for 6:10 so I was like ehh no big deal I took a seat in the waiting area well there’s about 50 stylists in that place and half were busy while the other half were on their phones or talking with each other . Long story short I sat waiting till about 6:20 pm and everyone who was sitting in waiting area before me and after me had already been helped so I left I was very dissapointed being that I was really looking forward to receiving their services they have great reviews . I wasted my time coming from across town and wasted time out of my only day off of work

I have been going to Visible Changes for probably over a year now. Rori was my first stylist I had and I absolutely love her! I had virgin hair and she was open to talk and walk me through what she was doing when I first got my hair colored so I was comfortable the whole appointment. Anytime I want to change my color, she is very honest with me about expectations and how a color may affect future colors. And my hair always comes out looking amazing! I 100% recommend her everytime.

I have been getting my hair done for the last 3 years I will never come back . Show the girl that cut my hair the picture and I told I didnt want it short she did whatever she want I got something I didnt asked very short . I left very upset I didnt want toTo make a scene . So I called them and told about my hair and told that I went to go buy a wig cause my hair was to short they would fix my hair I said I dont want it cut cause it was too short. I told about the wig they said bring it. Now they are telling they wont fix my wig for me cause I need to buy a wig from them. They called me if I want to come in for the appointment I said I was not coming in they didnt ask if I wanted another day she didnt care she hung up the phone on me .

I like it there. I’ve tried different hair salons and no one seems to get my hair. Which should be easy since I’m a guy? I went to a few local ones where they were a few rough on me and my neck, great clips was just... awful, sports clips was great clips with just an overly masculine vibe and the list goes on. This place mostly has women clients it seemed and I’m surprised not to see as many guys go there. They are super professional, great at understanding what you need and very courteous. They still do temperature checks and make you wear masks so it’s a lot safer too.

If you go here go to VERONICA who is a colorist! She is the absolute best with highlights, vibrant colors & color corrections. She has been doing my families hair for over two years now and we would never go to anyone else. Def would recommend this locations services and hair styling needs. Also, Fabian cut my sisters hair exactly how she wanted it. 👌🏼

I absolutely love this location! I live over in Converse & drive all the way to La Cantera to get my hair done by Rori. She is one of the only people I trust with my hair color needs. She is able to talk with me about the color I am looking for and the process that it takes to accomplish these colors. Im constantly changing my look and I love how Rori is just as excited as I am for the change. High recommended Rori and this location for your color and hair needs.

Went in to have my roots colored. Left with color all around my cheek area. I went in about 5 o’clock but I expected better customer service . I am very disappointed and I would not recommend this place. I even had to request for her to blow dry my hair so she should have noticed the color around my cheek area. Very disappointed.

This place has no customer service. I had an appointment at 1pm it was pouring down rain. I arrived at 1:07pm but I parked and went in by Nordstrom. Went in and couldn’t find the location called them after a few minutes asked them where they were. Turns out I went in the wrong entrance. Had to go back in the rain to my car and drive to the other side and find a parking spot walked up to the girl at the front at 1:20pm and expressed I was on the phone with them trying to find their location. She didn’t care. It was still raining, mind you. She was so rude didn’t care and I was on the phone trying to walk and find them. They knew I was trying to find them.I feel they should have atleast took that into consideration. Such a bad customer experience. I’ll never go there again.

I went into Visible Changes 2.5 years ago for a balayage and I was paired with Rori G. After our first session she completely won me over on her personal style, technic and her ability to break down the different processes of hair coloring and styles. I was very inexperienced when it came to getting my hair professionally done and I loved that she made me feel important and so was every question or concern I had as well. Because of her I will continue to be a loyal client of Visible Changes.

Saul cut my hair and I just LOVE it, he listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. My long hair has never looked so neat and pretty when it dries naturally as it does after this cut (which he made seem effortless as was so quick) and I got bangs for the first time in 10 years and I love the way they look more each day. This was my very first time using this salon and I am new here in San Antonio so I literally had no idea of where to go.Let me start by saying that I didn’t even know my stylists name. She did not introduce herself to me, she did not make me feel welcome or comfortable at all. When she asked what I wanted done and I told her I am looking for a darker brown. She didn’t bring out any samples to make sure that it was the right color or anything. I only had the dye on for maybe 20 minutes and then I was handed off to someone else to wash my hair out. When we were walking back to her station, she already had a new client sitting in the chair and didn’t even bat an eye to check mine to see if the dye held or that it looked good. Or even get the stains that the dye left on my face and neck. It’s almost like she didn’t care at all.Definitely NOT a good experience. And NOT one that I will return to.Now I am off to my home to get the stains off myself and to the store to get more dye to touch up the hair that didn’t take to the hair dye at the salon. I will be doing my hair myself from now on.

I contacted this establishment on the 12th of August to make a styling appointment for the 12th of September for my birthday (I scheduled 30 days in advanced). When I called, the gentleman that answer was answering questions I had and had placed me on hold a couple of minutes to ask stylist if they were knowledgeable of how to do “Finger waves”. When he got back, he stated that there was only one stylist very knowledgeable and was familiar with the techniques. The day comes, I show up on time and when I’m sitting on the chair for a good 30-45 minutes, the stylist after constantly trying, could not get it done. He asked several people around and no one seem to know to do /style “Finger Waves”. So I left very upset! Not only did I call to make sure they knew How to do it and set my appointment 30 days advanced but they ruined my birthday plans. My best advise since I’ve lead multi million dollar company’s, is sometimes its good to go back to basics and reteach and refresh so someone else doesn’t come across this experience again. Never again will I go nor will I recommend!

Theyre doing a great job of keeping everyone safe during this terrible time. With the separate cups for the pens, hand sanitizer and the temperature check on check in. Not only that but all the hair stylists are amazing with dealing with a mask as well as a face shield!Ive also never had a bad hair cut when Ive come to get my haircut. I went in to get my hair colored a few months ago and specifically requested Rori to do my hair because I have seen and heard so many great things about her from friends. I went in unsure of what I wanted but I sure did leave with confidence! Rori was very professional the entire time, she explained the whole process to me which made me feel very comfortable. She was very interactive and made me feel important during my stay — excellent customer service. And my hair... AMAZING. A disappointing experience that should have made a chemo patient feel better.

It was my first time trying this salon and I was not disappointed. I had my hair shampooed by Amber and she was the sweetest. She made me feel comfortable and welcome. I had my hair cut by Mari. She took the time to listen to me explain how my hair acts and what I wanted. She gave me recommendations on how to get the look I wanted that worked well with my specific hair type. Very happy with the results and shes such a great person to chat with along the way. Will be going back!

Coming here is always a great experience, each visit I am treated with great customer service. I dyed my hair for the first time with Rori, she was very sweet and explained exactly what would be done and even how to care for my hair afterwords. She will always take her time and make sure you are 100% satisfied and feel confident before leaving the salon, I have been her client for the past two years and every time she knocks it out of the park! Bree cuts my hair and always leaves it in a very manageable hair style for my super thick, wavy hair and she never cuts off more than what is damaged (unless she is asked). Earlier this week, I made an appointment with this hair salon for a haircut (a trim with bangs). The lady on the phone was very polite and said that what I am asking for would come out to be $40.00. I arrived today and IT WAS PACKED. I waited 20 minutes before I was actually lead to my stylist’s chair. She informed me at that very moment that because my hair was naturally curly, I would be charged an extra $20.00. I told her that was fine. I did not want to leave because I waited so long and I haven’t had a haircut in a very long time. My stylist, Diana, was a sweetheart! She did a great job on my hair, but for the sake of the review, I will give you some sort of hair ID.My hair is chemically relaxed. My roots were very curly when I sat in Diana’s chair, so before she proceeded to cut my hair, she pressed it. I was not told on the phone that if my hair was naturally curly I would be charged more. On request, she did not wash my hair or dry it because I had done that the night before. I may be mistaken but I did not see the surcharge listed on the website or listed on the price board in the front of the store. I give this place 3 out of 5 stars. If I find somewhere else to go that would be more affordable for me, I won’t come back, but I would not mind sitting in Diana’s chair again.

Made appointment and went in expecting a full wash, trim and blow out. My hairdresser was very nice but very rough and chopped my hair off despite just wanting a little trim. Then said he wasn’t able to blow dry or style so walked out looking terrible. AND paid full price despite not getting anything but cut!!!

Tabitha has cut my hair for the last 5 years and I promise you CANNOT find a better girl in town! Hands down the best. Unfortunately I’m moving and can’t take her with me... HIGHLY RECOMMEND. ASK FOR TABITHA

I highly recommend Saul. He is a fantastic hairstylist. I have known him for 5 years, I followed him from a different salon to Visible Changes. He is the only one allowed to touch mine or my daughters hair. During my appointment I allowed him to work with my face frame and do what he needed to do with my hair. It was a different style than I usually get with him, but I LOVE IT! Saul is Stylist to listens to the client and enjoys doing his work.

For the exact hair coloring we had 9 months ago with different hairstylist we paid more and came out with frizzy hair not flat ironed or styled. An excuse of Covid that has nothing to do with flat ironing after sitting under a dryer. Everyone that came out of the salon today, their hair looked awful. Bad management

David colored my hair and did an absolutely amazing job. He went above and beyond customer service, was super fun to interact with and my hair turned out beautiful!

Don’t waste your time, I was given false Information due to the fact the stylist honestly didn’t wanna do my hair. I went elsewhere because I was educated and knew what I was being told didn’t make sense in anyway. Had I not had any knowledge, I would’ve been misinformed and never been able to get what I wanted. Pay more elsewhere if you want the job done right or done AT ALL.

Went here for my first big haircut and style change in several years, and upon recommendation asked for Saul. He was great, and did everything exactly how I wanted, even though it was a bit unusual. When I changed my mind about the style and returned a few hours later, he redid it, free of charge. Would definitely recommend, and will likely return for future haircuts.

If you want the best color/highlights ask for Christine holly molly she is incredible and can do your hair in her sleep and gets it perfect every single time, I dont know how many times people have asked me hey where did you get your highlights!For my extensions or a Brazilian smoothing I go with Evelyn. Had an absolutely wonderful experience with Evelyn. She was very attentive and patient (I had my toddler with me). I explained what I wanted: a medium/short bob (which meant cutting off 5 inches) and she delivered! I am beyond happy. My hair feels light and looks so stylish. Been going here for over 4 years now. As a licensed cosmetologist myself I am really impressed by the skill and talent of the employees. I get consistently good service even when I have to get in quick and cant get in with my regular colorist and stylist. It speaks volumes to a salon when they can retain their employees as well. From the front desk to the shampoo bowl, everyone is always so professional. Love this place.

Terrible customer service at the front desk! I called a week ahead to make two appointments; one for me and the other for my daughter. The lady on the phone was VERY helpful.Fast forward to the the day of our appointments (Saturday at 3:30). Unfortunately, the young ladies at the front desk were so rude (very curt and dismissive) that I ended up canceling both appointments. I wish I could say something about their hair services - but my first impression was so negative I couldn’t fathom the idea of having them work on my hair.

Always excellent service from cosmetologists to the front staff! Evelyn is my go-to stylist, but Im sure everyone there is well-trained! I truly appreciate the service I receive.

Christine does AMAZING color. I have super dark brown hair, & she was able to get me to basically a full blonde!! When I get my hair colored, it usually takes like 3 hours or more, but Christine literally took like an hour & a half. Not only was she quick, but it looks totally natural. I Had my appointment yesterday 02/23 at 3:00pm first thing I did not like was that I did not get seen until 3:20. they had me there waiting and thats because I arrived ten minutes earlier as well for my appointment. secondly, for the price I paid $40 for a haircut I requested I feel like I could of gotten it at supercuts or just cut it myself. I told her to remove all the damage like trim it out a little bit and to cut my ends as well. she did not do any of that and just cut my tips. They did blow dry your hair but be prepared to pay extra if you want your hair to be straighten with the iron. I had to go home and trim some pieces of my hair!!!!never again

Ive been seeing Riley since 2008, and she always has great suggestions and really takes her time and knows my hair and how to make it look best. Shes really easy to talk to, and an overall great colorist! Ive had every hair color possible and she always manages to restore its health and make it look great! Tabitha has also been cutting and styling my hair every time. Id recommend both of these ladies if you wanna look your best! The price is worth it, I promise! Got a really great haircut 👍 Skilled and nice stylists and colorists. Cool atmosphere. The place is clean. Only good things to say :)

Highly recommend visible changes for quality cut, color and up-dos. Booking appointments are convenient with little to no wait times. Walk-ins are welcomed as well.i recommend a couple people, Evelyn and Stephanie. They both do an amazing job with cut and take time to give a consult prior to cut. Gracie is awesome with color. She takes her time and explains the process. She is honest and will tell you whether the color you want is achievable.

Ask for Evelyn! Best stylist there is! I even put off hair cuts living here in Las Vegas until I go back to San Antonio for visits, just so Evelyn can cut my hair. Even if Im only there for a short period of time, I make time to see Evelyn. I dont trust another soul to touch my hair except for her now. Im sure other stylists at this location are just as amazing, but Evelyn has been my stylist for 10 years now, and to me she is irreplaceable.

After two years of having difficulty finding a hair salon, I decided to try the La Cantera location out. I was excited to finally get a new style but felt the stylists were not welcoming. I opened up to the young lady shampooing my hair that it had been a while since I had gotten a hair cut to which she replied: “I can tell.” This comment came across condescending and didn’t need to be made in the first place. I then moved onto my color and the lady coloring my hair had all the foiled sections of my hair piled in front of my face. I have gotten my hair colored before and have never experienced anything quite like this.

Saul is the best! Always gives me a great haircut and is always as on time as he can help! The other staff is helpful and nice as well.

I drive across town to go Visible Changes La Cantera. Their customer service is amazing and always seem to squeeze me in whenever is convenient for me. My hairstylist, Bianca, is amazing and the best!! She never serms to disappoint me. Whatever I imagine she does it or even better. I started out with her since she first started and have stayed a loyal customer since! I really recommend her to anyone shes a good people person and makes you feel at ease.(:
