Alright so, this is the forth time i come here.last time the guy was really rude and i didn’t appreciate it, but i didn’t bother to write a review.i went yesterday 10-2-21, and a nice lady helped me. HOWEVER, the result of my nails is not good. it’s sloppy even after showing her exactly what i wanted. i told her what colors, i said bright GREEN and purple. she gave me neon yellow and pink/purple… my nails just look bad. i would just like to get this horrible job filed off and my $25 for “art” back because this is just awful. i didn’t mind paying the $25 but FOR A WELL DONE JOB. not this mess on my nails.

I used to love this place but unfortunately no longer. My most recent visit was not good. I was happy with the final results but the beginning was terrible. I was in for a replacement of acrylics. Instead of soaking my nails off the nail tech used her nails and a nail tip to lift and rip off my old set. It was both painful and destructive to my natural nails. I was so in shock. I’ve never experienced such a thing. I’ll never return.

Excellent service and was served wine while I had my pedicure! They were efficient and did a great job. The water was hot though, more hot than my friends was. My feet came out of the water like a hot pink sunburn! My friends feet were fine. By the time I left though, that went away. I should have said something but it was fine. Also, Im very ticklish but the pedicurist handled it professionally.

Just my personal opinion and warning for anyone out there wondering what nail salon to use. (I am aware this may seem silly to some, I am not a vain person but This place was a complete waste of my time and hard earned money.)On October 13, 2020 I went to this place for my very first and absolute LAST time today. Got a pedicure, manicure with tips and dip and eye brow wax.Pedicure was fine, bright white with a barely noticeable glitter on top.I needed the same look on my nails except with dip powder. After rounds of white dip powder she puts the final dip as this light colored glitter, which completely covers over the white. After asking her if the white will show through again and her saying yes, I had to get her to do another layer of white because it absolutely did not show through. So now I have thick nails and an obvious demarcation of where the glitter color was and not the bright white color I needed. I ask her if she can just use the regular glitter she used for my toes on top of my nails, she said no and found a close matching shellac glitter, which sadly now is a dingy white greenish color, not matching my toenails.My eyebrows, after explaining my issues and things I wanted fixed and things I wanted left alone because I am trying to grow out my eyebrows, she proceeds to not do any of those things and removes way too much.Again, just my personal experience. But had I of read THIS as a review I wouldn’t have gone. 💔UPDATE - Oct. 25 my pinky nail came completely off which I’ve never had happen in my life.

I usually love coming to do my nails here but I had a horrible experience this last visit. First of all the girl doing my pedicure didn’t understand English at all. I told her not to cut my cuticles.. she cut them. Don’t cut my nails only file she cut them. She literally didn’t understand one thing I said. My sister was also with me and her lady was even worse 0% understanding English.Our nail polish was smudged and not cleaned up too. Our feet weren’t scrubbed well either. I tried to call and talk to manager but of course HORRIBLE customer service. I will never come back again. Too many other nail salons in the area to come back to this one.

I came here because it was highly recommended. I wanted to love this place but they did a terrible job. I showed them a picture of what I wanted. Even with them fixing my nails they are terrible. I wish I could get my money back. $120 later and I’mLeft to do my own nails. There were dents, lint, bumps, and the nail wasn’t glued on properly to my nails. I would not recommend it ever go back.

EXCELLENT!!! I just moved to SA from Orlando and the welcoming service. I explained how I usually get my nails and they 1000% better. I always request Moon. She is BOMB and has great service. I’d go back BC of her!!!! THANK YOU GIIIRL!!!

This was my first visit at Venice Nails and Spa. I figured I try out a pedicure with shellac polish. This place is beautiful and setup very well with all the proper Covid precautions. I did NOT have an appointment. I walked in and both receptionists were on the phone but I didnt wait long. She approached, asked if I had an appt to which I said no and took my temperature. She asked what I wanted done and I said pedicure. She advised that itd be about a 30 min wait and pointed me to fill out my request form and pick my color. I handed in my request form and went to look at the MANY different color options and just as I turned to look for a place to sit and wait, I was approached by a gentleman asking me to follow him to my chair. This place was BUSY! Almost all the chairs in the place was full and I managed to get called within less than 10min wait. I was impressed! The gentleman that did my nails was so very sweet and professional. He asked me if I wanted a drink we went over my request to make sure of everything I wanted. He picked my color and checked with me to make sure it was what I wanted. Yes, thank you! Overall a great experience! Prices are normal. I always go for the classic pedicure. I was not disappointed! Go check them out. The only thing I can complain about was that I never received the coke...lol 😆!

I’ve been doing to Venice for years and love this place. I usually get shellac manicures and regular pedicures. I bring my teenager and mom here too. They’ve always been very clean and went above and beyond when covid hit ensuring our safety as well.

Usually, this was mine and my friends go-to salon. We’ve always in the past had a great experience here. Today on the other hand, was the most unprofessional scene I’ve ever personally witnessed. My friend wanted a basic shellac manicure. she had previous shellac still on from her last manicure. She told the manicurist that she just wanted to change the color. The manicurist began drilling and told her she had dip powder instead of shellac. So, they grabbed another employee to start on her nails. Because apparently not all of them know how to do their job. Besides the point, the next employee then tells her she has gel/shellac. We already knew this. But we didn’t wanna argue with the first woman. After three different times of this happening, my friend then tells the manager that she just wants whatever will be easiest for them. They agreed on shellac, and then the manicurist gets up and leaves. The manager came out and repeatedly asked my friend “what’s the problem?!“ My friend then called the receptionist over because she was the only one that could clearly speak English. The receptionist explained that things may have been lost in translation and tried to quietly tell my friend that they don’t speak very good English here. The manager was visibly upset and obviously enraged by this comment. she then proceeded to tell the receptionist to go away and that she could speak perfectly good English and translate herself. She then sat in the chair and started drilling at my friends nails. my friend decided to weigh in and tell her she was very rude, she shrugged it off, ignored her, and continued to drill at her nails. So we decided to leave, as we were leaving my friend was trying to finish her drink and the manager comes chasing after her telling her she needs her glass back (in a VERY rude way). Long story short, we will never be returning to this salon.

Dont waste your money here! Had my nails done here before leaving for my destination wedding and the literal next day after getting them done & leaving for the trip my nails all started cracking. I was gone for a week so I didnt bother calling or dealing with it until I was back. I assumed they would at least give me another manicure since I spent $95 there but apparently they do not care or appreciate customers here. My nails looked awful on my wedding day!

Husband needed a haircut next door so I decided to come into this place. I loved the people and the environment. Came out with exactly what I wanted. Vincent (I believe that was his name) did an amazing job with my nails, I got dip and square round shape, color (NR-1). Will come back 🌻

This place is on point. I love the check inn system, and they will come and talk to you to make sure thats what you want. They are nice and very helpful.

I got a deluxe pedicure. It was pretty good. I was there about an hr so a good amount of time. They offer 3 Complimentary drinks per guest so thats awesome too. The only things is, its pricier than other places. 55 for the toes with a French tip (extra 5 for French tip) . Ive gotten the same for less at other places. But its not a bad price. Its doable, just more expensive. The toes came out very good. I was happy.

I will go here for everything. Crazy efficient, clean and safe environment with every safety procaution taken, and very helpful and talented staff. I rarely get my nails done, but I have been to many salons and this is top notch. The chairs are comfy, you can get a mani pedi at the same time, all while enjoying a glass of wine. Such a great experience!

My nails are always fire 🔥🔥🔥 Cindy works her magic to create Instagram worthy nails!! And shes super sweet. The staff is great too! The receptionist is always attentive and tries her best to make sure everyone can be seen. I love the atmosphere there too, very big and elegant

Okay so I have mixed emotions about this place because they were very nice up until it was time for DANNY to do my nails he cut them shorter than I wanted and when we were trying to tell him to stop he kept going and then got an attitude because I had him redo them... so two hours after they were done my thumb nail popped off while I adjusted my shirt and within the next couple of days I was missing two or three nails to where I just took them all off so my nails were not done for my birthday as I had planned.... a big bummer

I was a faithful customer to this place, I didnt get my nails done religiously but when I did this was my go-to spot. Free alcohol is not enough of an incentive to accept subpar service. If youre the owner reading this, customer service is a must. The girls at the registers always look like they hate their job. I have NEVER been greeted with a smile and their phone etiquette is just as poor. The last time I was there a man by the name of Tony rushed through my dip powder manicure and less than two weeks later I am looking for another place to go and have them redone since they have broken and chipped in several places already. I am upset that I have to go somewhere else because the atmosphere is really nice and I have been pleased with my services in the past. Get some customer service training for the cashiers in the front and focus on quality over quantity.

I understand places get busy on the weekend, but after waiting almost 2 hours just to find out my family and I were being skipped is unacceptable. I have given this place so many chances, but enough is enough. We didn’t even get our manicures or pedicures while people who came after us did. Will NEVER be returning to this place as it is always a waste of time.

Come here. Come here. Come here. Dont go anywhere but here. The legendary Hugh Hef is here, hes the best for everything and my all time favorite personality. Micheal is fantastic as well! Drinks are strong and free as they come with the services here. Basic services for nails are good but you get the bang for your buck with the signature services and up. Cant go wrong here at all. Traffic is horrible around the location so if you have a reservation (get a reservation), plan ahead.

Aesthetically pleasing but for the amount of space that they have it wasnt as well staffed or as clean. The nail tech took off and I wasnt sure if he was done or not. Needless to say Im not returning.

I was excited to get my nails done but they appeared to not look that great afterwards. I didnt want to make a review with how unhappy I was at first, but now that all my nails popped off not even 2 weeks after getting them done, I hope to save someone from a bad visit. I wasnt offered a complimentary drink like my sister was, I asked and received tho. Then my other sister asked if her nails will be prepped/ filed and he muttered something that wasnt heard either way. He proceeded to not file her nails or prep them and just gluing nails on. So bad.....especially after she literally asked if he will prep. I thought its good to always prep and file the nails? Well anyways, my nails looked okay but had bad texture at the ends for real, so it made them look musty, and he glossed them once and put them under the light once. Im use to it being like 5 times. It was over all horrible honestly. They were okay but the bar is low for sure. It was so expensive for such poor quality . Mine were almost 80 bucks with tip and the nails didnt even make it past 2 weeks. And it chipped the next day. Really bothered me because I was looking forwarded to it and it ended up being a waste of money . Please dont go here theyre also kind of rude. If you have alot to spend and dont care how your nails look or service then this might be the place for you but please just get them done else where for cheaper too.

5 of us went here for manicure and pedicures....majority of the employees were great and worked really hard to keep us happy and satisfied....there was a couple who refused to put on their masks....I wish they were asked to leave. Other than that they did an amazing job on our nails.

Thought Id try something different and asked for a set of pink & white acrylic nails. The nail tech was very hard to hear/understand but I did hear the comment she made that my nails were too short so she would have to use shellac to paint the white tips...then when I went to pay, there was an extra $10 added for design. I have never been told my nails were too short and I assumed the $50 for pink/white set would include the white part. Atmosphere was nice but I definitely didnt get my moneys worth...will not return.

I get my nails done here all the time. Kaitlyn does an amazing job on my nails and Wendy is awesome for my pedicure. Jade does an outstanding job running this place and always takes care of me with excellent customer service. I recommend this place!

Honestly super disappointed. Not only has my technician done the poorest cleaning job on my cuticles, she proceeded to get shellac everywhere. Then when I told her the color wasn’t right she started speaking in her language to the other technician. I finally told her to just put the top coat on so I could leave. After which she proceeded to then file my actual skin. I’m so annoyed that Venice nails would allow this kind of service since I’d been here so many times previously and never had an issue. My technician was Mimi T#003 who also never brought me my water. The lack of attention to detail is astonishing.

This is the only nail place that I will go too.They get you in and out with perfect nails each time. Mothers day they had a long line about 20 people and I waited about 5 minutes before I was seen. They are always prepared for a crowd. The margaritas are too die for and they are strong.Everyone is friendly and courteous.The prices are a little high but I will not go anywhere else.I love my nails and my toes always come out so banging!!

My mom and sisters and I all got pedicures. I didn’t know whether we needed appointments or not so I called ahead to make sure and they were able to get all 4 of us in with no wait. I had Vincent and he was awesome! I had also gotten a full set w/shellac and the whole time he was super attentive and nice! Very clean stations everywhere too and kept the social distancing. Everyone was really welcoming! Will definitely come back

Usually Im very happy with my manicures here. At my most recent visit however, the person who did my nails nicked me a few times with the dremel. You can see the spots on my pointer and middle fingers.

I dont usually post reviews but I been going to Venice for a while now but today I had excellent service by Simon. He was very attentive and service was good. I had used a foot mask from target which made my feet crack and peel alot, i was very embrassed with them but he took the extra mile to make sure they came out very nice and soft,he didnt rush and took his time on me. and my manicure shellac was excellent too. Thank you Simon, I will continue to make my appointments with him...

I love going to Venice Nails on Culebra Rd.! The employees are friendly. The place is kept “spotless”, and Steven is an amazing nail technician!

This place is very clean and the staff is nice. My nail tech didnt speak to me much, which is ok with me. I enjoyed my complementary drink as she did my nails using the dip powder. (The color I got was blush pink NU60)

My first time going was great! The man who did my nails were amazing and kind. But there was this little blue spot from my previous nail polish he missed and left on my nail. I dont mind but note that they be careful to get everything.

Nelly did my nails and helped me pick out colors when I wasnt sure what I wanted. I have perfect Christmas nails now! 🤗 She did a great job and was so nice to me. It was my first time visiting and Im so glad I went.

Was the worst experience Ive ever had! Spent $60 on a mani and pedi I expect it to last at least 2 weeks, it couldnt even last 5 hours.and when I went back to asked to get it fixed they wanted to aruge and tell me its only supposed to last 3 days. The worst customer service Ive ever had, especially the 3 people working the front check in area. All you are is a piece of paper with what you want done.

Staff is always focused on what they are doing and not so much into carrying a conversation. I personally prefer that over chatting. Plus the complimentary drinks help with relaxation ; ) Even on a busy day the waiting time is minimal.

A friend told me to come here but I didnt have the greatest experience. I asked for classic since I work with plants and didnt want the dirt getting stuck and they came out bad. Middle schoolers do better than this. I might as well have done it myself. He didnt get the whole nail on 1 finger and most of my fingers you can see when he did the second coat he didnt bother doing it completly. The pedi was nice and they made me pay and tip BEFORE they did the paint and I had high expectations so I tipped $16 and it just looks so bad. This is a $10 paint job. Not the $60 I paid.

My friend turned me onto this place and Im so glad she did! Steven is so fabulous with my toes and Michael makes me feel like a princess with my nails even with how badly my job beats up my hands! Drink service here too makes this place a gem!!

Opeed at 12 promptly. Was greeted upon entry and temperature taken. A little sheet is provided with waiver required about covid risks. The place was emaculate and clean. The seats are extremely comfortable with no wear. Pleasant conversation was provide and the atmosphere was lovely and friendly.

Love this place BUT when my daughters massage chair didnt work and jabbed at her back, they wouldnt do anything about it and then the manager didnt even compensate her (just said sorry). Love their work but seriously questioning if I will return. AND if you have a group of friends that want to go together? Better get out your pocketbook and pay a deposit in advance or no dice they wont accommodate. That is some cheap unfriendly dealings there peeps!

Been to so many nail spas here in San Antonio & either they do a horrible job or they are over priced!! Last time I went to a place that only charged $45 for a new set & they did an amazing job, HOWEVER my fingertip became infected and grew fungus underneath my nail bed. I blame the place because I’ve been doing my nails for years and never had a fungus problem before. Needless to say I wasn’t going back there and decided to give this place a shot, immediately impressed with the atmosphere and friendly staff, not to mention the variety of beverages they offer you. My nail guys name was Henry and he helped better inform me of what to do with my nails and I watched as he sterilized and changed out equipment as he finished my nails, clearly he knows he could spread the infection if he didn’t do this. Not only did he do the best job on my nails but he gave me peace of mind knowing that he used clean tools on me, even used and recommended a nail fungus medicine on me. Yes it was a bit pricier than other places but you can’t beat the price for all that they offer. I ended up paying $60 but I couldn’t be happier with the results.

The salon is nice and that’s about it. The service and workers are very rude. They seem like they are all stuck up for some reason and the wait is too long. The service needs to be more tailored for a customer paying good money but I was just another person that comes there and leaves. There was no conversation. Their lack of customer relation is the reason I will not be back. I recommend going to smaller family owned businesses where the customer is a part of their family. This place is also over priced and they try to upscale you on pedicures. I payed 65 and didn’t see a difference in the 30 dollar one. If you want to go in there and feel like your just another person than go but I would not recommend.

This is one of my favorite nail salons ever!! They do a fabulous job every single time that I go! Majority of the time i get a sweet nail tech, or one that doesn’t talk, but i’m fine with either lol. BUT their hostess or whoever (the girl at the front) is BEYOND rude. She looks unfriendly every time i go, she does not provide good customer service at all. No she isn’t the nail tech, but she is the person we have to meet with first and doesn’t do a good job at making you feel welcome. My last straw was when a friend called for pricing for a service, and she hung up twice on her. So on the 3rd time I took the phone and explained how we kept being hung up on and we were just trying to find a price, and she rudely disregarded everything, did not apologize, and just said “for what?” when she was asked “we were hung up on multiple times trying to find a price”. Ridiculous. However, the rest of the experience is great! They’d get 5 stars if she had better customer service

The chairs and free drinks are nice and some of the staff are nice. But the service of some is slacking. For my last pedicure, the technician took off for long stretches to go talk to people. This during painting or scrubbing not when Im soaking. And dragged a usually 30 min procedure to 2 hours. As they were busy I couldnt switch to anyone else. Also the prices have went way up

Came here to get my eyebrows today and I’m highly disappointed. The lady only trimmed one eyebrow and refused to trim the other telling me the other wouldn’t match. I’ve never had anyone doing my brows do this. My brows are not even and there are strays. I usually get my nails done here and LOVE the next gen. But will never be returning here for a wax.

Venice is fast, friendly and efficient. They have a lot of employees so the wait is not long at all. You also get a complimentary drink which is always a sweet treat.

We frequent this nail salon often. It is nice to treat yourself after a long day at work. With all the walking we do on tours our feet can become pretty worn and Tracy and Kim is always willing to help make them pretty again. We recommend this nail salon to anyone looking to unwind.

Walked in and was told a 30 minute wait. I agreed and filled out paper slip they handed me. Came back 5 minutes later and was told they wouldn’t be able to service my daughter and I for 1 hour and 50 minutes. It was my daughters last day in Texas and our last time giving this business anything. Receptionists should have a personality, not a hangover. Good luck, but for us it’s a solid no.

3rd time going to get my nails done. Last two times I had Tony can’t remember who I had the 1st time. Tony is awesome always walked out pleased with my nails!
