It was my first visit here at United Nails & Spa. This place felt like a hidden gem. It was very beautiful on the inside and spotless. The nail tech was gentle and meticulous in his work that the finished product came out so beautiful. I didn’t get his name but he did a wonderful job - absolutely beautiful artistry. They also treated me very kindly too. I’ll be coming back again! Thank you so much 💕

I did not have a great experience at this facility at all. The lady that did my pedicure was good and was not in a rush. Asides from her, every other person seems to be in a rush. I had to choose my color right now or else…. The guy(blonde) that did my nail was in so much rush!!! And I have no idea why. He did not really listen to what I had to say about my idea for my nails. He made a mistake and literally rushed through it by patching it. I really wanted to like this place.I got my nails done on Wednesday,today is Tuesday and it’s already breaking little by little. Don’t even think it will last two weeks sadly!!!!

The atmosphere of United Nails & spa is impeccable. Ive tried many spots here in San Antonio and I have to say this place is the best, hands down. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and their work is stunning!

My first time here,,Smooth registration upon arrival. Great service,,I enjoyed the atmosphere and the soothing, relaxing music. A great way to relax and get pamper; with a complimentary drink. I personally had a mimosa,since it was still early around 10:30 am. I highly recommend this place.

I always come here every two weeks. They always so such a good job. Brought my grandmother here today and the gentlemen was extremely patient with her. I love it here.

For the price they charged, they could have done better on matte black nails, and better on pedicures. Also comments were not appreciated. Youre paid to work, not comment on feet of the customers. 10/10 would not go back. There are better places out there that dont over charge.

This was my first time here and I approve. I could of ask for a better nail shop they are friendly everyone wears there mask. And to top it off they serve drinks but they lashes is too high $40 for individual $20 in the Houston 🤦🏾‍♀️

I use to love this place but the last two times I went they treated me and my friends poorly my pedicure I paid extra to have the hot towels and the guy only put it on one leg saying his back hurt and didn’t do the full service yet charged me for the full service the second time I went in and they didn’t great me or asked me what service I wanted and they weren’t busy I waited for over 15 minutes and walked out since nobody cared to ask if I wanted a service done I normally don’t do reviews but this place is awful

This is my regular place, because I get consistently great pedicures here. They start on time, pay attention to detail and dont skimp on the massage. So lovely!!!

Definitely recommend their pedicures, but i’m so disappointed in my nails. They came out appearing to be perfect, but a couple broke super easily and when I went it for them to be fixed they just got me in and out and it’s rough under the nail abs overall bad quality work. for paying well over $100 I won’t be coming back here.

This is my second time here and I love it!!! I made a pedicure appointment with the same technician I had the first time...Stephanie...she does an excellent job. Very thorough, quick, and skillful. In fact, all the technicians seem to be this same way. On my first visit, I went with two other friends and we sat next to each other. The technicians that worked on my other friends feet, had passionate thoroughness and skills. I was highly impressed!!!

I showed up half an hour early to my appointment expecting to wait for a while, but they took me to one of the pedicure chairs, offered me a complimentary drink, and gave me the color choices to choose from. Lien did my manicure and pedicure, she did a great job and we had a great conversation. The only negative I have to say is booking online through Yelp didnt work, they never responded and I had to call later to schedule. Not a big deal but I like having the option to make an online reservation. They may have improved that since then.

Finally a place that listened to what I wanted and not what they thought would look good for me. Angie was very nice.

I had a regular mani and a tropicalpedi almost two days ago at this place. The place is nice and the staff is very nice and accommodating. The color selection is very good as well. But first the girl cut me. It happens some times and I wasn’t going to say anything. However, my nail polish chipped already and when I looked at my hands carefully, the cuticle cleaning was super bad! Specially for a job that was done less than 48 hours ago. I’ve never have this happened before. My sister’s polish also chipped and we went together. I really wanted to like this place since it’s close to home but sadly, I won’t come here again.

A/B is an awesome technician. My legs and feet feel relaxed and refreshed after the milk & honey pedicure with extra massage! Service is outstanding, no wait on a Saturday evening 😄

I did a walk in deluxe manicure with regular polish and it was amazing! Tia did such a wonderful and thorough job.I have really bad OCD and tend to wash my hands more than necessary, so the skin gets really dry and ugly. Tia was very attentive and my hands feel good as new. I really like that she did the first layer of polish thin so it would dry fast and properly before added the final layer. A lot of other salons dont do that and you end up with goopy nail polish. I will definitely come back.

This was our first time United Nails & Spa and we were not disappointed. I usually don’t post reviews but we were really impressed and John was wonderful. Angie did my daughter’s dipped nails and she was very friendly also. We will definitely keep using them. I would recommend them.

Im coming in from out of town. I unfortunately broke one of my dipped nail tips and needed then fixed. I was extremely happy with the fix that Lee provided!He didnt have the exact dip powder, but they carried the same brand and he kinda mixed two dips to make something as close as possible! So kind and friendly and an absolute professional. When I come back more permanently I will definitely be coming back.

I went in for the first time to get my dip nails redone. It was easy to make an appt and my nail tech took his time helping me match the dip powder to a bottle of polish I brought in. The whole staff was kind and helpful. Look forward to coming back!

Michelle was super friendly and patient with me! I’ve never had a full set done and i usually go with my natural nails and dipping. She helped me pick out my color because I wasn’t too sure which one I wanted and they came out perfect!!! I can’t stop looking at them. Would definitely recommend to a family or friend.

I am so happy with United Nails and with Lee and his wife who run the operation. I have been with them for about a year now my daughter and I and we have been so extraordinarily happy. It’s now to where I walk in and they serve my Mamosa and turn on the football channel for me and I don’t even ask. They know me by name and they know what I need and are always so friendly. Lee does amazing work with my daughters nails. She is 18 and enjoys the stilettos and wild colors and gems and All of the wild nail that the young people like these days And Lee does it all. They do great work on feet and hands also eyebrows and I have been treated so well by these people I feel like family thank you Lee and thank you to your wife and to all the staff I’ve enjoyed being a customer for over a year now

The owners Lee & Snow are HANDS DOWN THE BEST. They will not let you leave unsatisfied, QUALITY work, and they are quick! They do not leave out any detail. The rest of the staff has been trained extremely well, they are super friendly and accommodating. The service I receive here is EXEMPLARY. I recommend getting their VIP Membership card if you loved your visit. It gives you 25% off all services for a year. Trust me, you will not want to try out anywhere else ever again. Oh, and the wine is fresh. Glasses are clean. Atmosphere is relaxing. ❤️ Never going any place else! 😄

I absolutely loved this place. Rae did a French dip manicure that was absolutely perfect. Mimi did a great job on my shellac pedicure. It’s hard to find a place with great technicians and they definitely have the best in the business. They have my business!!!

Once I started coming here I realized what a true nail salon is supposed to be like! Very efficient and they do awesome nails! Some of my faves are Ray, Mimi and Jenny is great on pedis! Theyre great at taking walk-ins as well! Definitely a monthly pampering worth the cost ladies (and gents ;)

First of all, Id like to say for the most part everyone was friendly. Although, the man who checked me in, was pretty short in response and seemed uninterested. I called before hand to get an estimate of a full set with just 1 basic color, nothing fancy. I was given the price of $36, which is also confirmed on their website. When I checked in I clarified just that and the man showed me what colors I could choose from, but then quickly showed me to another panel to choose from. I asked the price difference between them and he confirmed they were the same price. When I went to pay I was told it was going to be $50, I of course was confused but paid them and left it at that time. I wouldnt mind the cost of $50, if my nails werent just a basic set. After getting to look at them a bit more not only are they basic but they have globs underneath them and are splotchy at the top. The man who did my nails was very kind, took his time and really tried his best but overall I am not as happy with them as I want to be. I personally will not go back to this place for a basic nail set.

Amazing color selection, great service (had a dip nail that was starting to separate and they repaired at no charge plus great pedicure), and clean environment. Great place! They were open early and really convenient to where I was doing some shopping. They took me immediately as I walked in and the nail colors were very well organized. Every color had a number and you filled out a card when you walked in on what you wanted. The service was fast and the technician was knowledgeable.

Great removal. Proper soak and file! Even trimmed up and shaped how I wanted. Did not try to push additional services after hearing I just wanted a removal. Wouldnt be able to tell I just had product on them! Impressed. Offered me a drink any way as well.Edit: Did my wedding set here! Matched the shade perfectly. Lee is amazing and is now my go-to tech! Everyone is friendly, professional, and talented.

I went here based off reviews, I asked for a regular set no color just a clear coat which I normally pay $25, $30 maybe & they charged me $41 for a solar set. The lady who did my nails did them super fast & aggressive like she just wanted to hurry up & get me out of the chair. My nails were short & no color it’s annoying how they try to overcharge & charge you for things you didn’t ask for. I won’t come back here again.

It was my first time there (4/12/19) and Lamda did a phenomenal job with my Pearl pedicure and Shellac full set. She was very friendly and professional. The salon was very clean and organized. The drinks were amazing! And I love how close it is to my apartment. It was a great experience! I will definitely be a regular customer.

I dont know what changes this place has made but the nail techs are so rude. They literally roll their eyes and question certain requests. They dont honor the 10% Cash only. With so many nail salons around you would think that customer service would be there top priority but it definitely is not. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else!

Sin is a GREAT nail technician. He is very detail and i LOVE the way my nails come out with him. I usually show him Chaulegend nail designs from IG and hes good a recreating designs. Also atmosphere nice and clean and relaxing and other staff is nice. This is my go to place:)

Horrible experience. I get my nails done every month, I happened to be on this side of town and decided to try a new place because of the convenience. This was a Tuesday. Its now Friday, the bottom of my nails were lifting from the tips already. I stopped by according to their policy and their manager (a man who refused to give me his name) continued to argue with me and express it wasnt lifting. I continued to explaine to him my experience with nails and how the nails must be glued correctly to the tips in order to prevent fungi growing. Instead of removing and correcting the adhesive, he filed the bottom of my nails off instead. After I asked him to remove it countless times, a lady finally removed the tips. They refused to refund or redo my nails. After the lady removed my nails, needless to say there was already fungal growing under one of my nails. I showed it to him, $50 down the drain and he offered me to pay him again to have them redone at half the price. Horrible customer service, I definitely will not be returning or referring anyone to come here.I posted a photo of my nails and you can clearly see the damage that was done.UPDATE: As seen below, the owner has posted a comment, Im sorry but I spent an hour at the salon attempting to work with you. You argued and continued to explain that its just my nail and the nails look beautiful. Im sure the comment is simply to show your curtsey online but this act should have been done the moment I returned to you for help. No thank you.

Vincent was amazing when he did my full set of acrylics, and even took the time to help me choose my colors to get EXACTLY what I wanted. I highly recommend this place. My nails are not bulky like some other salons work, and the shape is exactly as I have asked. Amazing work!

The owner, Snow, is super sweet. She started on my dipped nails and Lee took over. Lee did a fantastic job, he made sure there weren’t any imperfections and double checked every nail to make sure they weren’t too thick and evenly covered. I WILL be back!

Sin did a great job! It was $70 for 4 fingers on each had ombre. I didnt like that they charge $5 for special shape (coffin) I would think that would be included.Clean place the receptionist was very friendly. Offered me drinks a few times. No wait just walked in on a Thursdsy at 3, was starting to get busy when I was leaving.

It was a nice place inside very clean and put together. I didnt get anything done but went with my girlfriend. They had a lot of options to choose from as far as nail colors, treatments, and designs. Im only giving 3 stars because I wont be going back. They have a VIP program I wanted to sign up for but I couldnt use it until the next visit even though the sign didnt specify that. Also my girlfriend said the were rough on her nails and hands.

I wish I lived locally so that I could make this my place to come for a mani pedi. The ambiance is so relaxing and calming. The prices are average nothing crazy. But my nails came out fantastic. I get so many compliments and they are still going strong. One thing that I loved is I showed a picture from pinterest and instead of telling me no, they achieved the look I wanted.

Terrible. When a customer says no drill you immediately stop drilling their nails down to nothing because it hurts! Respect clients wishes. So unprofessional!

I found this place around the corner from my Drs office. Ive been looking for a nail salon (I like) since I moved here from Utah last year. I was originally gonna go to Sapa Nails but I saw the reviews & read United had better feed back. Im so glad I did. I ❤ my nails. I got dip. The manicurist, I think her name was Vee, did cut my finger by accident but it was an accident. She felt real bad about it cause she didnt know about it. I forgave her. 😊 Im looking forward to going next month to get a fill for my dip 💅. Lovely environment. Real nice & peaceful.
