Very clean and very friendly staff! I walked in and was sat almost immediately despite it being pretty busy. The nail tech was very sweet and gentle. She did a fantastic job! Prices were also very reasonable! Definitely would recommend!

Worse service!! I get there with plenty of time and I walk in and waited almost 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. The gentleman asked me what I wanted to do I tell him full set. He asked what kind and I said I have an picture (simple color tip) so I proceed to get my phone out and I didn’t even get to show him he immediately said oh no we can’t do them you will have to come back tomorrow. So why ask me what I want if you aren’t going to even give me service!? I was so annoyed. To top it off, a lady walked in right after me and she got assisted right away! I was not happy! All I have to say is I definitely felt discriminated by them. Would not recommend them!!!

Great, relaxing experience. Everybody is nice and theyve always done a great job with my nails, etc. Prices are very reasonable but they dont skimp on quality. I will continue to come back here and recommend you do as well!

Very nice people, very clean, and very skilled.Only things that weren’t pleasant were that I wasn’t offered a drink once and i was told 65 for the v art I wanted when I came in then half way through was told it would be 85 and had to go simple because this was told to me last minute.I will try this place again eventually and I hope to see improvement.They need to get their prices straight and be more professional.

This place is amazing!!! At first when I walked in I was a little hesitant because NO one in there looked like me and my husband. But the staff is so friendly it didnt matter. We were treated so kind and the staff is nice. I will definitely return everytime I am visiting San Antonio. I would recommend this place to anyone. I came in wanting to relax with my friend so we searched up this salon. When she asked me if I wanted a cut or file. I explained file only since my nails don’t need it. I usually do my toes myself since I am a nail technician but I gave this place a try. As you can see my index toe looks like a chunk was taken out.& it took 30 minutes just to get my pedicure started.

I found this place around June. I was so happy with the service and quality of my nails. Today I visited this place for the third time. I made an appointment and was looking forward to getting pampered. However, that was not the case today. I got there at 4pm for my appointment. They sat me down to wait for an HOUR while my nails were getting soaked to remove my previous set. Then, they finally took me to the other side to get started. At that point I was already frustrated with how much I was waiting. Finally, the nail tech (gentleman) started working on my nails. He asked me what shape I wanted. I described to him I wanted a coffin shape. He proceeded to LAUGH in-front of my face and said “hahaha you can’t do coffin”My nails were normal size, but regardless of the size. He could’ve said it in a nicer way instead of being rude in front of me. Oh.. and that’s not it. He then proceeded to keep laughing with his coworkers and said “coffin, yeah right hahaha common”Ask me how I feel about going back? Nop… i don’t think I will. I felt humiliated! You just don’t do that to your clients. Which sucked because I was happy there with the service.So disappointed!

I went to this place in hopes to get a nice new fresh set of acrylics for myself, and a set of polish for my aunt. I made an appointment three days in advance. We got there early told the manager we were there for an appointment, she said OK, and walked away. So we sat down. And after about waiting 30 minutes or so we asked another lady if we could go, because somebody who had walked in got seated before us and she said you have to talk to the manager about that. So the manager was happening to my walk by at that moment so we caught her and said “ma’am, are we able to go to. We had an appointment 30 minutes ago. she walked away, and muttered “30 minute wait”. After telling her we were just going to leave then, she immediately sat us down. While getting out nails done, she was being very rude and trying to approach me for no reason. Then after all this awful experience, my nails didn’t even turn out very well. So we were expected to pay full price to be treated that way. Will not be going back.

BEST MANICURE EVER!! Cathy did the best nails Ive ever had! She made acrylic look SO natural and spent so much time getting every detail correct! I showed her a picture and she did exactly what I asked for and more! I will be going back for every manicure here on out!

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. My mom and I went there and 2 days later 3 of hers nails chipped. I called and they said you can come back to get them fixed. Why would I want to go back somewhere where I had a bad experience? This place was recommended to me & I told EVERYONE that goes here not to go there so we will be taking out business somewhere else. I will be leaving reviews on Facebook and everywhere I can. I also told my 5 sisters, friends, family and we will be leaving bad reviews. Do not waste your money here!!!

Mixed feelings about this place. My nails came out absolutely BEAUTIFUL, done by Cathy. However, I had a 4:15 appointment, didn’t get sat in a chair until 30 minutes later, and in the middle of applying my acrylic Cathy started packing up her things to go service another client! After seeing that I was not okay with that, she went ahead and sat back down and finished my service, but it was slightly upsetting and I felt like my business wasn’t as appreciated as the other customers. In the end, spent 1 hour and 45 minutes for a simple one color set, but my nails are VERY beautiful, possibly the best I’ve received. :)

I moved to SA a year ago and had a hard time finding a nail salon I liked with good quality. After trying several other places in town, I found Quarry Nails!This place is wonderful. It’s always simple to make an appointment or walk in. They treat their clients with warmth and care and special attention. I exclusively go here at least once per month for both manicures and pedicures and I love it ! The staff is amazing, the quality of service is great and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxing.I highly recommend this to anyone searching for a the perfect nail salon.

I have been a customer here for 10 years, mainly pedicures. After reopening from Covid shutdowns my friend and I made appointments for every visit (we go every 3-4 weeks). We have always had good service, quality work, and a clean environment. We attempted to go this previous Sunday, with appointment, and had a horrible experience. We waiting 35 minutes for someone fo finally come over and set us up. After another 5 minutes go by, I ask the owner/manager, Ben why there is such a hold up today as we had made appointments to start 40 minutes go. In an accusatory tone he states that, “they are very busy, and he is so sorry that his employees are only human and have to take a break and eat”. We ensured to inform him that is why we had appointments, and it wasn’t necessary to take this attitude or behavior towards customers. He then proceded to go their back/break room and yell at his employees. Two of them subsequently came out. This made the situation even more uncomfortable. We apologized to the two employees and decided to leave. I am shocked and disappointed that a business owner would address any customer, let alone loyal ones this way. I will never support this persons business or behavior and neither should you. Find a different spot.

We made an appointment for 8 of us at 3pmWe were assured it would be no problem.One of us was left waiting for 53 minutes while walkins were walked straight back. When we addressed the issue about being bumped at least 2x we were told there was no one available and further waiting was necessary, by this time more than half of the party was nearly finished.I was expecting to have just my nails filled only to fins out that they had to be completely redone with a full set due to the previous texts poor job, all my nails had lifted and had to be redone.Mimi did an excellent job on my new nails and Snow has consistently done a good job with my sisters nails. Its a shame they are overshadowed by bald guy up front who has such poor organization skills and pitiful customer service skills.Would not recommend to a friend.

First Time going to Quarry Nails, location is beautiful but also has its flaws. I had an appointment at 2pm and even though I had an appointment I still had to wait a good bit, understandable they were super busy until a walk in came in and was put In a seat before me..While waiting if you pay attention it’s honestly dirty but with heavy traffic you only notice the beauty of the location and The design they Did within the building.By the looks of it each nail tech charges they’re own price. My Nail tech was Cathy she was super aggressive like I mean super! It was honestly to much I understand there is a language barrier but she had me repeat myself like 10x because she wouldn’t listen she kept interrupting me.She hurt me countless times but one you could actually see it was bleeding a tiny bit but hurt so bad, she took 2$ off since she hurt me.. She told me that she didn’t know I was sensitive and honestly I’m never sensitive in these situations but I just nodded cause I was already ready to leave. Mid way of doing my nails Another appointment walked in for her and she just left me there to go talk to the other appointment! After all I paid 63$ for a shiny black set and They looked good from the top i paid left and then On my way home I noticed a lot of messiness.. I had acrylic still in the bottom of my nails and they just looked rough as well. I called they said they would fix it free of charge But by the sounds of it he wanted her to fix them and I just wasn’t having It so I decided to not go back And just write my experience! If you try them out I hope your experience wasn’t like mine ! If I decide to go back I definitely would ask for another nail tech ! Pictures of my Set are posted in the photos.

The man who took care of me today did a poor job. I get coffin nails (fills) and they came out bulky and misshapen. They start out smaller on the bottom and get bigger at the top..thats backwards. I asked for a complimentary drink, which they offer, and never got one. I wish I knew the guys name.

Got a mani-pedi as a treat before being induced. The man who did my pedicure could not have been nicer and made be so relaxed. However the lady that did my nails seemed rushed and annoyed. Taking it out on my hands. She made me bleed several times when cleaning my cuticles and used the glue they use for fills to stop it so the next day when the glue started to peel chunks of my cuticular came off. A week later and my cuticles are a mess with dried blood in the mail bed that I can’t seem to clean. So much for not having to worry about them with a newborn.

I have been going to Quarry nails for almost 6 months and I love it! Everyone is super friendly there! I go every month and see my favorite nail tech Ken!! He does such a great job on my nails! I am always 100% satisfied with his work. I would recommend Ken and Quarry nails to my family and friends!!

I’ve been a long time customer of Quarry Nails and am grateful to have found them. Jessie and Van are techs that take care of my mom and me. They are so attentive and particular about their services; I’ve never had my manicures/pedicures last so long. Both women are very kind and take great care with my mom, too, which always take my appreciation to a new level. I leave every appointment feeling greatly appreciated.

Came in a couple of days ago for a full set. It was my first time and I asked for prices and they couldn’t tell me. That should have been the first red flag. I paid $55 for a full set and they didn’t last at all. One of nails broke the next morning. I was told that they could see me right away so I came in and ended up waiting 30 minutes because no one there knew how to do gel nails. I got it fixed and the next day another nail broke! I won’t be coming here again.

First time at Quarry Nails was amazing! My husband and I got pedicures and I feel we got 10 star treatment! We were offered a drink at the beginning of our pedicure. Massage through out was great and very long compared to other salons we have been to. 10/10 wil recommend this nail salon to all of my friends and family!

Used to be my favorite spot! The last three visits have been really rushed, my nails have peeled after one visit, and the overall experience isnt what it used to be. Time to find a new place. 😩

My nails came out decent. There’s parts of my nails that seem they needed a bit more filing down. Also the lady who did my nails aggressively filed them which kept pulling my nails back and not theyre sore and it hurts to do anything his. Online it said 60 dollars for a set but came out to 65. I’m not sure why. Was also left with nail dip on parts of my finger from her having it all over her hands. I’ve never had that problem before. Overall yes my nails came out nice but I don’t think it was my favorite experience. I’ll stick to my usual nail spot that only charger 40-45 for a set and I’m alway pleased with the experience and how they come out.

Had my nails done by Vicki. My ombré nails came out exactly how I expected. She took her time and was big in detail. Definitely recommend her.

This was the first place I tried since moving from Arlington, Tx. and Nancy did an excellent job on my pedicure, she listened and understood what I wanted and took her time. Mimi did my nails and she was meticulous. I got gel nails on my feet and nails and they lasted 3 weeks. might have lasted longer, but my nails were growing so I needed a touch up.

Best place to get any mani or pedi done. I have had three different technicians and I have left happy each time. The best one in my opinion is Emily. She has patience and excellence skills and does my nail on point every time. I’m a profectionist so for me to be satisfied every time says a lot. The manager walks around making sure everyone is having a great time. He is a great manager and business owner. He understands customer service completely. I have and will continue to recommend this heavenly place!!!

Took my mom to get pedicures and it was amazing. Everyone was so kind and helpful. We both got the lavender pedicure it was the best one we’ve ever had! My lady also did my brows justice! Thank you Sophia!

If you need nail removal (acrylics etc) this is the place. I rarely get fake nails but I did for my birthday and after two of them broke (painfully) I wanted them off. I usually expect my nails to be super weak and short after getting them removed but not this time! Jennifer gave me the best pedicure I’ve ever had (really great massage and amazing attention to detail) while I soaked my nails for removal. When it was time for the manicure I was shocked to see she was able to leave some length and strength! She topped it off with some regular polish and the nails are still looking great and going strong. Thank you so much and definitely my new go to nail place. Highly recommend!

After months of not getting my nails done, I decided to get them done at Quarry Nails because of the great reviews I seen online! Well, the reviews went AGAINST the service I received! When I walked in, I was greeted nicely and asked for their gel nail polish. I was given a book. I chose the color I wanted from the book... that was given to me. I’m sitting down and a male tech starts doing my nails. I told him I wanted acrylics nails with gel nail polish. He comes over with dip powder. I mention to him that that is not what I asked for. He begins to tell me it is. So, he starts putting the dip powder onto my nails and the color is NOT what I picked out! So I asked him to change the color and was able to change the color. So, the next color I chose, he’s putting it on (once again I ask him why he’s using dip powder when I asked for acrylic) and he tells me it’s the same. So, as he’s doing my nails, I notice that the color he’s putting on my nails is not what I asked for. He’s very adamant that it is the color that I chose. The foundation was very sloppy. He proceeded to use dip powder on my nails. Once again, I make a comment about the powder and the color and he gets loud with me! Asking me if I have ever gotten my nails done before? I said yes! This isn’t usually what happens when I ask for acrylic! He then tells me it’s solar powder! I told him I did not ask for solar powder! I asked for acrylic! So once he is finished, I am not pleased at all with the result.I was able to speak with the manager and she told me it was miscommunication and he did not know. I told her I told HIM plenty of times it was not what I wanted. She mentioned the book I was given was only for dip powder and I told her I was given that book once I asked for gel nail polish. I was thankful that she took them off and only charged me for my toes. In all honesty, I would not have paid for my ruined nails. All in all, I was pretty bombed because the reviews were great and I was looking forward to having my nails done. It is safe to say I will NOT be returning to this salon! They. Do. Not. Listen. To. Your. Needs. The photos and reviews I saw online must’ve been fake because there is no way. I saw a totally different salon.

Online appointment making capabilities is a great feature. The atmosphere is nice and huge selection of regular and dip polishes. Complementary adult beverages available and offered when directed to your pedi chair. My technician was very efficient using electric tools for nail filing that left for time for an exfoliating leg massage. One of the best pedi’s I’ve had in a long time.

My nail tech was Morgan. AMAZING!!I have been coming to Quarry nail for years. I’ve always had a great service! You will not be disappointed here.

I have been going to Quarry nails for a few years now, and I have never experienced the unprofessionalism that I experienced this last Sunday. I had taken two friends with me and they had gone before. The tech stabbed my friend on big toe not once not twice but three times which the third time caused injury, it was so painful that my friend shouted out. The tech did not apologize right away and after it was done she mentions to her next time to go to another tech. I call the shop to speak to management there offer to give me my money back because I paid for, but I txt later to see if they anything to offer my friend being that she suffered from the injury. He made an acquisition has if I was trying take advantage and get something from free. Its sad when you find a quality service and right away management things that you are trying to get over. My business is done with this salon. And unless they stop being money hungry and start to people with respect there business will soon be over. Bad business. 👎

Went in today for an appointment at 1:30 and waited an hour as different nail techs said they were going to be right with me. After the second nail tech said he would be with me, his original client showed up and he ended up taking her.Additionally, they kept telling me to change my nail design to something more simple even though that is not what I wanted. Very unprofessional and will not be coming here anymore. First and last time being here.

I’ve only been here once and it turned out to be the worst experience I’ve had. The nail tech( Ken) kept talking poorly about my hands and how sweaty they were. I obviously realize this and didn’t need him to bring it up 10 times. I got dip nails and two have already fallen off within a week and another is starting to already. I know that this wasn’t on account of my hands because I’ve had my nails done multiple times and they have all lasted well over a month. I would save my money and find another place to go because this just isn’t it.

Absolutely horrible experience here. Do yourself a favor and go to Asiana Nail Lounge near North Star....Our first time trying Quarry Nails and my wifes nails were not even, a few look bent upward, and they had an attitude and refused to redo her nails. Someone needs to teach these people the customer is always right. Also theyre a rip off...pricing on the website was not what was charged at the end of the day. Either way we did not like the nails they should have taken care of the customer and re did them to our satisfaction, and they couldnt even do that. They are quite possibly the rudest people I have met, and they have horrible customer service. Do yourself a favor....DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE!!!

First time coming to get my nails done at Quarry Nails and I was kinda let down. My manicurist took off my previous nail polish and then stopped to make me pay IN THE MIDDLE OF the service??? This has never happened to me in the 8+ years of getting my nails done. After I paid we went back to his station and he continued to finish my manicure. I noticed no one else payed in the middle of their service everyone paid after. Very strange to me and was very offended. Won’t be back.

The service at Quarry Nails is always spectacular. The shape of my nails after both a manicure and pedicure always exceeds my expectations. They are clean, friendly, professional and always deliver whatever your needs may be.

This place has really gone down. Not only is the place unorganized but they arent taking any covid caution. The guy takes the temperature but the chairs are not being wiped down. The instruments arent being sterilized. They dont open them from a blue sterilization packet like they used to :/. Other places are being really good about COVID NOT THIS ONE

Got clipped by nail clippers getting a pedicure and started bleeding and they put the nail glue that they use on everyone on it. Not sanitary. Also I didn’t even get a top coat on the shellac. First and last time there.

I live in Lakeway, Tx which is 1hr and 30mins away but the drive to Quarry nails is so worth it! Ken and Chloe did such an amazing job on my nails, I can’t thank them enough along with the other staff for being so friendly and helpful!!

I went in for a full set acrylic powder simple color nothing to fancy, the girl took extremely long for just one simple color acrylic, tips used before acrylic application were too small so the nail looks bent upwards not straight how it’s supposed to be, she also didn’t use nail dehydrator or super bond before applying the acrylic. The nail techs told me my nails would be $63 but my husband ended up paying $120 for my nails and honestly they aren’t even worth that much poor quality and with the amount of time I sat in that chair my nails should not look like this I was there for over an hr for one color waste of my time and money.So yesterday I went back and was told my nails would be corrected the nail tech was rude and saying for me too tell him how I wanted my nails shapped because there was nothing wrong. First let me say this I’m doing nails myself and I know nails should be flat not pointing upward second, the nail tech told me he personally doesn’t know anyone who would take the time to make sure the shape is correct from all angles at that point I had it do not insult my intelligence I have a nail tech who I do spend $120 and over with and she gets the shape right every time looking at my nails from all angles and if that’s not something you do you don’t appreciate your own work never again will I spend a dime here I’ve learned my lesson trying a new place I will go back to asiana nail lounge where I am taken care of properly. I only came to quarry cause I was impatient and couldn’t wait a whole week for a new set, ladies learn from this don’t betray your original nail tech for an unknown new place. And also the nail tips used on me by MIMI ware horrible when I first started doing nails I used those tips and stopped because how much nail turned upward, that would happen on my manikin hand! Someone needs to let her know

RUDIEST place weve ever been.

Absolutely wonderful. Three billion stars for Nancy. Lavendar pedicure and milk & honey manicure. (Real milk and honey was a nice surprise!)Nancy obviously cares that her work looks good. She took her time and was very attentive. Havent been this relaxed in a long time. Thank you Nancy!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. Male owner seemed very greedy and only attended to new incoming customers instead of customers who had been there (because that’s guaranteed money). He was working the employees very hard without any breaks in between clients. Very rude man. Manicure quality was extremely poor and rushed as to get to the next client.

Went to have my toes done today 7-11-2020. They took my temperature and made me clean my hands with alcohol. If your temperature is 100 or above they will ask you to leave. Amazing job nail tech V.
