Looks really great, just the shape mind wonky, my thumbs are longer then the rest of my nails, also some nails longer than others, and I could of done better with my pedicure at home. Polish is junky here and there on my toes. Little holes can see my nail & then rest color the soft white.

Im extremely picky about my nails, and my former nail tech moved to the other side of town. Someone recommended them.Ken, did a great pedicure, making sure to remove dry/dead skin, but the painting of my toenails was not so good.Tom, did an amazing job on my powder dip, but he doesnt know how to do ombre with powder.Other than those two items, great place!Loved the customer service.

I went in to get my real nails trimmed/shaped. The nail tech was VERY ROUGH while cutting & filing my nails. My nails were not filed even either. I told her and she attempted to fix it. It was still not correct and then she told me that it was because of the way my nail grows which is incorrect because my nail tech always gets it right. I had been here before and had a similar experience but decided to give them another try and same thing.

The clear coating isn’t even placed right on my nails as you can tell lots of smudges. Not going back

This salon does a great job overall. Some of the nail techs are better than others. It is no frills, but very affordable. A great place if you need a basic nail service at a great price!

They always do a wonderful job. Scheduled an appointment and was helped as soon as i walked in. The covid procedures are amazing and i feel safe.

Never on time for scheduled appointments, I always have to wait at least 30 mins before my schedule time. They either do my nails thin to the point they break or too thick. They rush through the pedicures. This last time Tina had the nastiest attitude when I asked her to add more powder near my cuticle after she had drilled everything down. She aggressively opened a drawer then slammed it closed with her elbow and slam the powder on the desk. Her attitude was completely unacceptable, I did not deserve that. I will not be returning ever! I’ve given this place 4 chances to make things right and this last time did it for me.

How did my nails and they came out wonderfully. I think this is a decently nice salon and did you hear me right away.

I absolutely love Angel Nails and all of the staff. I always have the best customer service. Ive been coming to them for at least 10 years (give or take) and will continue. Even my children enjoy a little pampering and they are absolutely wonderful to my children.

This place is great. I had a bit if a rocky start when I got a set done and they broke off in 2 days. The owners ensured that they fixed my set and even corrected the color I chose. They are friendly, honest, and willing to correct any errors that may happen. After they fixed it I have never had any other issues with them. My nails come out perfect and at an affordable price. Tom and Tina are great but Devin is my personal favorite. Definitely recommend

NOPE!!! Usually Okayyyy but when they mess up and you point it out they hate it, delay you and talk mad mess about you! I noticed their tool kits were so dirty and unsanitary, I had to stay after closing because they made me wait and they never de sanitized the pedicure tubs and left the used plastic wraps on the tubs🤮

On the website they state that they do kids nails 2-6. So I brought my daughter to them today since it’s her 3rd birthday expecting just a polish and that they put her feet in a little tub of water.When I arrived, the guy at the counter didn’t look at me when I walked in nor when I acknowledged him. There was no warm greeting. When I told him I wanted her to get her nails and toes painted he looked confused. When I sat down he told us to go pick a color. I took my daughter to pick a color and then I went to have a seat. Some older lady with black hair and grey streaks wearing glasses came for my daughter while she was eating chips. She said something in another language, and I asked her what did she say, she ignored me. The other lady says that my daughter was eating, so I said okay so do her toes while she eats her chips? The older took us to a seat. Of course this is my daughter’s first time going to a salon, so when she filed her toes my daughter was pulling her foot back because it tickled her. She wasn’t being gentle either, and she had an attitude. She let out a really big sigh and threw her leg back at her. At that point I asked for someone else to paint her toes because she seemed frustrated with a three year old. She starts laughing and said okay. I spoke with the owner of the other location and told him I’m on the way there. Before I left the door the lady asked why I was leaving. I told her that her co-worker has an attitude with my daughter and I’m not going to pay for that type of service.I am currently at the other location and they have a welcomed me and my daughter. I will see how this goes.

I had my set taken off for a new one because my previous set was misshapen and outgrown. The lady was gentle enough at first, however she made my nail bleed and when she filed it down she was rough and caused more bleeding. I pulled my hand back a couple times because she caught me and she didn’t even apologize. Flash forward today, 2 days after getting them done, 2 of my nails have snapped (one while simply tying my shoes) and one of them is broken in the middle and incredibly painful. I was really excited about the new nails because they were shaped better than my previous ones and I loved the color but now I’m dealing with a painful wasted $70.

My nails always look beautiful. They do an amazing job and they are so strong.

Pedicure was too rough and caused my toe cuticle to bleed. Definitely not as sanitary as it should be, and polish came out lumpy, won’t be going back

Angel Nails is my go-to for pedicures. Always friendly and reasonably priced. Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes even on busy days. Ive recently started getting manicures and I had one bad experience (mostly my fault) but it was rectified and I love the girl I go to now. (Tina) The staff really go above and beyond to earn your trust and business.

Prices are reasonable but I paid for extra massaging for my pedicure and she maybe did 5 minutes? She didnt have timer set like how most nail salons have. Also for my shellac manicure.She missed a few spots of the shellac, she attempted to fix the spots she missed. I was asked if it was better and I said Yes because honestly I didnt have the time or patience to have her redo the spots she missed the 3rd time. She was very sweet and so was everyone else. She also didnt ask what shape I wanted my nails, she just assumed I wanted square.But I do not believe I will be returning back.

Was in San Antonio for a family ordeal and decided to get my nails done. My usual salon was no longer open so I decided to stop here and get my nails done. I asked for the coffin shape, now usually when I get this shape done places will usually use nail clippers to get the desired shape. This place did not, the nail tech filed my nails down, which caused them to be all around miss matched and on one finger he went so far as to file into my finger enough for it to bleed a little. Fast forward to today, which is two weeks after paying $56-$65, one of the nails pops off. I’ve never had nails just pop off this soon after getting them done. Needless to say next time I am in San Antonio I will find another salon to go to.

Very odd place. They do business okay. The head man does it his way even when you tell him how you would like your nails done. His wife though, she really does beautiful nails. The people try to act friendly but to me its a fake friendly. Not natural.

Visited today for the first time. Its Friday afternoon not very busy, Perfect time to come. Devin did an amazing job! He took his time, he was very gentle. I had the best foot/leg massage of all time. Definitely found my nail spot. 😀

If you are going to get your nails done here, I suggest you have them done by Tina. She is the owner. I have had bad experiences with all the other techs. They dont seem to listen and I always leave unhappy with my nails and or pedicure. Theres always mistakes or something looks ugly. Tina is the only one who does exactly what you ask her to do and leaves your nails beautiful.

I went to have a shellac manicure a week ago. A few days later the nail polish started chipping and I had to return to have my nails redone. I am far from the nail salon so returning was time consuming. I gave them two stars since they are very nice and the day I returned the owner fixed my nails. Their prices are reasonable and seems the wait isnt long.

Went in with a friend for the first time to get a pedicure. She got a young man while I got an older woman. Neither asked how we were doing or showed any interest in being friendly. We picked a $40 pedi. The lady hardly scrubbed my feet but maybe 30 seconds each meanwhile the man scrubbed my friends feet for a long time, removing lots of dead skin. Then when she was massaging I had to ask her to apply more pressure as it felt like she was simply rubbing lotion in. She hardly massaged my feet just my legs. Its been 24 hours and my nail polish is already chipping and looks smudged. I am so upset. What a waste of $46.00. Never will I go there again. I dont recommend this place to anyone.

Worst experience ever. Upon entry they make you feel welcomed, get you a drink and immediately seat you. Unfortunately, thats the end of the positive experience. Their products are so old they kept bubbling as they dried. I had them redo my manicure 3 times because the manicure looked bubbly and awful. The 3rd repair the employee made it seem like it was my fault the polish bubbled up since I did not up drag to the shellac. I explained shellac isnt worth the investment since I like to get my polish changed out every other week but she was basically insinuating that it is my fault for not spending the extra cash.In the end their products bubbled again, I was dismissed and sent on my way. Clearly I will not being going back.

Ive been coming here for almost five years and theyve done a great job every single time. Ive tried to venture out and see if there was any other place but I always come back to Angel nails #2. Keep up the great work!

Been here last weekend to get my nails and pedicure done. It was a wonderful experience. Staffs are very nice and friendly. I love the place, and definitely will come back.

I don’t understand the high reviews. This was my first time here and I was NOT impressed. My nail tech did a decent job on my pedicure (that’s why I gave them 2 stars) but for my basic manicure she did an AWFUL job. First the nail color selection is very limited and the colors they do have look like they are about to expire. Two of the bottles I selected where practically empty (we discovered this after painting two of my nails). My third nail color selection was a brand I never heard of and unfortunately after 48 hours I have major chips in my nails (looks like I was trying to peel the nail color off). I’ve never had this happen on my 20+ years of getting my nails done. Yes regular nail mani usually last 5 days but I’ve never had a chip in the color the same day of getting my nails done. The nail tech also spent about five min talking to the other nail techs in their native language while she was filing my nails (she actually stopped and engaged in a conversation - sounded like she was upset). I know this place is inexpensive compared to other salons but still getting a manicure should look nice regardless of how much you pay. Maybe they do a better job with other types of manis but regardless I will not be returning.

Took my daughter to get out nails done, we told them we wanted regular acrylic sets, they started with me, the person doing then kept having to stop to take care of the phone, my daughter sat behind me so I couldnt see what they were doing, mine got finished and looked decent, wider than they should have been, but decent, I go to check on my daughters and the man is dipping her fingers in colored powders, I asked him why and he said she picked those colors, she had shown him what color she wanted her nails PAINTED when we first walked in, I told him thats not what we wanted, I knew it was much more than the $25 set of nails we intended to pay for, I had already given my card to the girl that had done mine and told her ibwas paying for both mine and my daughters so she had already run my card, I went in expecting to pay $50+ a tip, walked out with a receipt for over $80 and 2 of My daughters nails poppednoff less than a week later.....never again.

Will never go back! *Today! -The lady who greeted; myself and my the cousin at the door. She WAS ON THE PHONE the whole entire time! Face time!. Really??? Im a paying customer can I get your freaking full attention!No friendly conversation AT ALL!. Then after the pedicure- we passed along to a guy who was absolutely RUDE he didnt speak I tried to have a friendly conversation because Im new to Texas and his body language and conversation was rude.. and I hate my nails!.. this was the worst experience I ever had here in San Antonio.-Just absolutely the worst!

One star BUT only so I can write a review here!Dont come here, I should have listened after reading the reviews here . I literally just left & went ahead to Walmart with my child getting me a file and polish to fix it up.Here my story and believe me I am not that kind of customer not getting their way and start to bad mouth someone or to be nasty.The guy which did my nails was one of shorter statue sitting on entry table . I told him that I shorten my nails already ( since Im familiar with getting nails done over years ) with a professional nail clipper since I wanted to go shorter.. he said okay asked me for my shape which he understood. he did not even bother to file my nails correctly he went 1,2,3 real quick on each side with file thats it I thought he just did that for now before getting started. I did looked at him asking him that he will still file it evenly & to a shape because he seemed that thats it, I told him again and showed him a picture of the shape coffin which he even suggested... He added the acrylic and wanted to start paint I told him again that theres no shape and thats definitely no coffin in sight and its totally uneven it still looked like someone went ahead with scissors and cut through the nails but he would just went on to just put the polish on and proceed .I felt mocked and asked him if he really cant see that and thinks if this is acceptable to send me out with . It also seemed that he did not want to work or put in any effort until he seen that I will definitely not tolerate that . Situations like that Makes me really uncomfortable but I insisted. And something like that never happened to me I really thought that he maybe just started to do nails or so.. I was getting so upset almost wanted to cry and told him to just finish up and that theres no polish needed and I just would leave and pay since I gotten the fill in already which i told him multiple times . All of a sudden he could do it getting to the coffin shape putting effort in so I was getting more upset because he knew and this just veryfied it all . He started small talking to not loose me or me might having something to say after . He seemed sloppy, lazy or he is not made for doing nails honestly . I had to remind him that theres polish missing on some fingers which he corrected. But he worked so fast and put more layers on top which made the nails thick and did not dry eventuelly . A lady checked in asking to fix it I just told her that i will correct this myself at home and that Im good packed my child and left. When I walked out I seen that the refill gel been not added correctly and my own nail was just under it loosely there been no acrylic put on evenly, the nails to fat and unevenly filed . So upsetting. Im glad I did not went with the shellac gel with him, imagine the out come . I will add pictures . Oh and I realized that most woman gotten in to get their feet done only so I thought that there must be a reason .Somehow I cant post pictures it immediately leads me to maps instead uploading a picture

I’ve been getting my nails done here since they open regularly and I used to come to the people who owned another salon at the same location beforehand Tom and Tina are the only two who I let do my nails and Devin Usually does my toes I also get my eyebrows waxed here and I don’t let anyone else do they are great I absolutely love it. I’ve been other places and I’m not satisfied I will never change my salon

I love the salon however my solar powered was completely dry and my nail tried to shaped which didn’t turn out well so I had to go back and get it despite the fact that she already saw it and allowed me to walk out the salon like that.

Me, my mom, aunt and daughter went in on Friday 02/10/2017 to get a pedicure and they did a horrible job! They rushed through the whole thing for all of us. The paint doesnt even cover all of my toe nails and the bottoms of my feet look the same as when I went in there. After you get done you never notice how they really look until later cause of all the oil and lotion they put on you. So that was $32 waisted! Save your money!!

Took my daughters to get their nails done on Sunday, by Thursday, my youngest daughters nails were popping off like press on nails. I thought, okay maybe it was a bad batch of nail glue so i called to schedule for them to replace the missing nails, and also scheduled myself for a full set. upon walking into the door the young lady i believe her name is Tina greeted me and advised she would repair my daughters nails and her husband would take care of me. To make a long story short, the gentleman with the bald head (cant remember his name) but he initially applied my daughters nails, repaired her nails. once at home, she told me he was rude, yanked her hand, and told her he would not repair her nails if they came off again he would not fix them. my nails on the other hand are a hot mess!!! they are lumpy, dull, and the polished design looks like a five year old did it. Tina i thought by the end of my visit was very unfriendly, and non engaging.. I paid and tipped but will not be returning.

I got a fill and a week later my nails were popping off. Went to get them fixed and they want me to pay for a new set! I told them no and to go ahead and take off my nails and the guy just wanted to push them off with another nail! So unprofessional and no regard for my comfort at all!

Received a basic gel manicure that turned out awful. The shaping was bad, the coat was messy and uneven, and the tech used grunts to tell me what he wanted me to do. I won’t go back.

Tina does a great job, if she asks if you like your nails just smile and say yes because if you find a small defect shell get a little snappy and make it seem like its your fault. Prices say military gets a small discount, BUT like I said dont mention it because even if its printed on their pamphlet they do not give discounts.

The shop is always clean and the technicians are fastvand friendly. And they serve wine as a courtesy!! Ive been coming here for years.

I got my nails filled and all of the tips are uneven, they are sharp.. to the point where it cut my forehead when i scrached it, my thumb nail was filed way to much and on my other thumb nail the nail polish is not on the whole nail. I mean i get that its nail polish and it has to dry but i expect to get a what i pay for. She was in a rush (Tina i think her name was) and she was on the phone, she also got mad at me when i forgot to mention that it was shellac and not polish because I waisted her acetone. But i learned my lesson and i wont be going back.

Worst Place EVER! It was not same people from 3 weeks ago..should have been my clue....didnt use any cuticle oil before cutting and pulling on cuticles...I have bleeding places on fingers...mani & pedicure...polish on my toes never dried...wiped right off after 2 hrs. charged a lot for deluxe pedicure but it was less than standard ones at most other salons/spas. They were not busy but rushed thru the whole thing..rip off!!

First time coming here was a great experience, second time coming here not so much. I came when it wasnt busy (mind you, I wasnt a walk in & scheduled my appointment at 4:30 (came in 15 minutes earlier, the place closes at 6pm) I got the number 3, which is a mani & pedi combo which comes out to a total of $68.00. The combo includes a foot/hand massage with blue liquid, towel wrap, bath salts & either a lavender, lemon & I forgot the other one. Well I dont know if it was because the shop was dead & the workers were leaving early but I was cheated out of my hand works, which is the bath salts, the hot wax & liquid massage. Also, the worker who was extremely nice but messed up on my thumb & said that I needed to come back on Wednesday when she was available to fix it. When she was very capable of fixing it since there was time before they actually closed. Me being, too nice i just smiled & nod like I dont have time with my schedule & figured I go else where to fix it. But I believe the owner who was waiting to close up the shop over heard what happened & took the initiative to fix it for me on the shop. Which I was greatly grateful for, but in my head Im like Im missing the bath salt works & wax massage for my hands. Without either of them telling me to sit back down to finish the rest of my combo... I was just asked how I was going to pay! I understand if I was a walk in & came in close to closing time which is 6 oclock but it was 530 & it doesnt even take 5 minutes to finish completing the rest of my combo. Needless to say I was charged for the whole thing as if I received the full combo. I didnt want to sit & make the worker finish up because obviously they were in a hurry to close the shop prior to it being 6 oclock the regular closing time. So i just paid & they sent me off my way. I always have a hard time finding a place to my nails & just when I think I found the place, it was too good to be true. All I can say is if you want a good job done, you obviously have to come like 3 hours prior till them closing. I think its a good deal for both mani & pedi but not worth the money if Im going to be cheated out of what I paid for. Never coming here again due to my experience today. Perfectly fine with going elsewhere. I rather waste my gas & have someone else doing it whom Ive known for years.
