To wait 40 min to get them to fix one nail when there were at least 3 technicians available is just not right. Don’t get me wrong, I was willing to pay for the one nail repair. But the manager insisted that the person that did my nails had to be the one to repair it, she rather make me wait 40 minutes and still no service.

Took my mom to get her nails done for her birthday, it was our first time here and it was a great experience! I forgot my nail technicians name, but she was meticulous and kind. Super cozy atmosphere.

My husband and I got the BEST Pedicures ever! The girls were friendly and attentive. We had the Milk and Honey package and were not disappointed. We will definitely be coming back!

I have been here several times. It is not cheap by any means, but the work is consistent. The salon is fairly new and always clean. The staff is friendly. If you have a concern, they will gladly listen and fix it. Sometimes there is a wait, so if youre in a rush you should schedule an appointment or visit earlier in the week as it gets busier on the weekend. Overall satisfied with this nail bar.

Leon is AMAZING!! Seriously, if you are looking for someone that is so consistent and pays so much attention to detail, look no further. Go seen him at Dominion Nail Bar. I followed him from his previous salon he’s so good. If he’s booked, he’s worth the wait!

Had an appointment and waited 3 hours, for dip powder b/c I wasnt told when I made the appointment that they didnt have anyone experienced to do the work. They did an incomplete pedicure & proceeded to have me sit for two hours with my hands in acetone to soak off the old dip. I left after 3 1/2 hours with an incomplete pedicure and jagged natural nails. Went across I-10 to TD Nails where they they did a beautiful job in just over an hour. I dont know if Dominion is under new management but THIS was NOT the business I expected to find based on the reviews and will NEVER go back! I paid full price for the pedicure too. Ridiculous!!

I occasionally go with the wife when she goes to get her nails done. Decided to go with her today to Dominion Nail Bar for a pedicure. I must say I was very impressed and overly satisfied with both my service and the friendliness of the employees I interacted with. By far the best Nail place Ive ever been to...which is only a few...but still. Keep up the awesome work guys and girls!

Working in commercial real estate, I was baffled by the interaction I just had with the manager/owner.The staff is inconsiderate of the people that live behind the building and when I reached out to the owner to ask them to be more respectful (quieter), she was extremely rude and said she is not responsible for their behavior outside of her property. One would assume if your staff is parking on property premises, you are responsible to the property owners to uphold the standards in your contract. I will be reaching out to the owner of the building to address the matter since the business owner feels it’s not her problem. If this is how you treat your neighbors, I’m going to assume the other negative reviews regarding her attitude are correct. I’m a new resident and I know where I will not be taking my business.

Very relaxing environment, great friendly service, and awesome nails. What more could you ask for? Haley gave me an awesome pedicure and I will ask for her again. I love that they have a huge variety of dipping powder and shellac colors. They have a great bar with delicious drinks. I also love that they keep customers names/numbers in their computer system, so that the next time you come they know who serviced you the last time. The manager Jenny is very personable with all her guests, and she made my visit even better. Despite the tons of salons in my area, I’ll be making the 20 min drive here from now on!! So worth it.

Wales in and was greeted my a man up front, very nice & polite. Was instructed to wash my hands and pick out my nail color. When I was done I was sat down by my daughters nail tech, Trish. The water was super hot for both me and my 7 year old and when we let her know my nail tech walked out and started talking about us to each other. We sat thru the whole pedicure never once asked if we wanted a drink or got our chairs turned on for a massage. I turned my own chair on. The gentleman up front was notified by another tech when she heard me talking to my friend about the situation, I was comped $5 for not getting a drink.. which I guess was ok since he gave me a to go one. Worst customer service I have ever had especially in that area by nail techs.

I arrived for my 6:00 pm appointment and everything was clean, it was quite, staff was very friendly, social distancing and cleanliness was a priority and I was immediately offered an adult beverage - yum. I highly recommend the Dominion Nail Bar and Leon for all of your nail needs. You wont be disappointed! This is a very classy and professionally run establishment.

I had been eyeing this place for a while as I am still new to the area and finally decided to go here today as it is only 5 minutes away from home. Holy hell did it end poorly. It started totally fine, I was greeted by the very nice receptionist and was instructed to pick a color and sign in. No problem. The pedicure was great the lady who did them worked professionally, politely and efficiently. It was when I went to get my acrylics done that everything went downhill so so fast. I’ve been getting acrylics done for 10 years and have never witnessed such an odd practice. The lady who put my tips on ended up cutting them too short for my liking, but I stopped her before she cut them all. I wasn’t mad at that point but I did ask that we redid them and that I didn’t mind paying for the material wasted. She tried to convince me that they would still look nice at the short length she had cut them at, but I told her I would prefer them to be longer. This did not sit well with her at all as she, without saying a word, packed up all her stuff and left. Disappeared to the back without saying anything. I was in total disbelief and began texting my boyfriend as I sat alone in the chair for 5 minutes about what was going on.Eventually a guy came to do my nails, and somehow the situation got worse. He started picking up the already cut pieces of acrylic telling me that he would just glue them back onto the tip instead of redoing it. I’m already still in shock at this point so I just sit there while he tries to find all the pieces before I could find my words to tell him that it was fine to completely redo the nails, I didn’t mind that he had to drill them again and repeated that I would pay for the wasted materials. He took the nails off and put them back on and I thought that was the end of the drama, but of course not. He started cutting and shaping them, all while telling me that the regular polish I wanted on my nail was a bad idea because “it will take an hour to dry and I know you’re gonna mess them up as soon as you leave.” I told him it was fine, I wanted the regular, and he proceeded to go back and fourth with me about how regular polish is bad and that I’m gonna mess them up. I just stayed silent for a bit until he told me to look at my nails to make sure they’re the way I wanted. I take a look at them for MAYBE 3 seconds before he says “they’re fine, that’s what you said you wanted.” (By the way, they are all poorly shaped but I just wanted to leave at this point) Now usually, I’m pretty good at holding myself together, I don’t get upset easily and I’m typically very patient and understanding as I work with children but oh my god I lost it. I started silently crying in the chair. I’m sitting there trying not to sob as he paints my nails in a SHELLAC color that didn’t even match my toes, which the color I wasn’t mad about I was mad about the treatment I was getting, but that definitely added to it. I’m shaking at this point and he has the nerve to say “what are you nervous or something?” A couple more snide remarks are tossed before I get up to go pay.The receptionist asked how my experience was and I just stared at her before busting out in tears. Luckily she was super nice and understanding, the only reason this place got 2 stars was because of her and the pedicure lady. She said she didn’t feel right about making me pay when I’m this upset, and I told her that I just wanted to pay and leave. She insisted that I didn’t need to pay, but I still paid for the pedicure as that part was totally fine. So I left there with poorly done nails, knocked confidence, and completely embarrassed by my outburst of tears in the crowded salon. I’m shocked at the amount of good reviews this place had. The nail guy had commented on shirt I was wearing ( a black T-shirt with the Bucee logo on it) asking if I actually worked there. I’m assuming that was the cause of my treatment, because he thought I worked at a gas station(I don’t), not that there is anything wrong with that anyways. Also, was not offered a drink at any point.

There was a little wait, but it was worth it. The interior is clean and very beautifully painted. I got a pedicure and my lady was very kind. She gave me the right drink, made sure the water was a good temperature, and gave great service!! I definitely recommend for those who enjoy art museum looking places. 10/10

I came here a few times before but about a month ago I go my toes & nails done. It was a busy Sunday so I had too wait, well the lady that did my pedicure sliced the side of my nail and left it super swollen. I asked her what happened and she said it will go down. I was so mad but in rush because I had to leave. It’s been a month and a half later and I’ve been to the dr twice and they told me I got an infection because they tools they used were not sanitized correctly. I will never go here again for that reason, I also loved my nails but I’ve been suffering ever since coming here. I did call and was told a manager would call me back regarding my situation and still nothing!

I absolutely love this nail salon!!!!! I’ve been searching for years to find the right salon and I’ve finally found it. My nail tech was amazing I’ve never had my nails look so good! I will never go anywhere else. I live about 5 1/2 hours from here and I come down to visit family and just so happen to pop in yesterday with my best friend. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is relaxing and nice. I highly recommend!!!!! Vivian is absolutely amazing she pays attention to detail and makes sure everything is right before you leave!

I have been coming here and going to Wendy since they opened and it is by far my favorite nail salon. Very clean, peaceful, and professional. Wendy is the best! I have been going to her for about 5 years now and she is a perfectionist with nails!

This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve gone to Dominion Nail Bar and I usually have THE BEST service; although my greeting and responsiveness was great, my actual manicure experience was very poor. I get manicures to treat myself and have a relaxing time (and in this case, to have my nails done for my engagement photos), but this time, my technician just rushed the whole process. My technician did not perform any form of cuticle care, he did not listen to my desired nail shape, and left a mess all over the back of my nails. I love the people here, so I’m sure I’ll be going back... just maybe a different technician next time.

Myley is such a great artist and took her time making my nails perfect for the Halloween season. I highly recommend her!! The salon is beautiful inside too.

Myley did a great and fast job on my nails. She even let me sample a nail color before I committed. I also tried the almond shape instead of the square-round and I really like them. Great place for nails/pedi. Vivian is awesome for pedicures.Great experience every time.

Went this past Sunday to get my nails done...usually go to another salon down the road but had been looking at this place and finally decided to give it a try and Im soooooo glad I did!!! Its beautiful inside! The guy working the reception desk was super nice and they were very quick to get us in. Now initially I would have knocked this down down to about 4 stars because my mother and I waited so long to actually get our drinks (seriously about 15 mins after we arrived and a bunch of other people were getting them right away) and they switched up my nail tech on me after I chose my colors..BUT..... None of that mattered because in the end the drink was AMAZING! AND the new nail tech that did my nails (MYLEY) did the best job! I am super picky about my nails because hello ladies we pay alot to get them done! Well MYLEY was beyond awesome. See my pic attached...I had dip nails with Valentines nail art. I took a picture in from Pinterest and its very rare a nail tech can copy any pic you take in but I think she did pretty darn good! Also had my 11 yr old son with me and they were so kind with him..gave him snacks and drinks as well while he waited patiently. I will absolutely be back and definitely going to request MYLEY! Cant wait to try the pedicures

Update: I have been going here for a very long time. Especially after my daughters birthday (review below) and their great service last minute. I still travel to come here after moving to the Helotes area because I love the atmosphere and service.But I really feel their customer service and care has been going down my last few visits. Today I was very disappointed by my daughters manicure which was credited $10.. but getting home I felt my feet very dry and had my heels peeling. The woman who took care of me was very sweet but as soon as a coworker had gotten there she was rushing off, didn’t put lotion on, and left quickly. I don’t like that I take my mom or a friend along with my daughter each time I go and spend quite a bit of money to not get the full service I am paying for.Atmosphere is so relaxing and the customer service is wonderful. I’ve gone here a couple of times but I wanted to leave a review and let everyone know how wonderful the front desk is. I came in last minute for my daughters birthday and even though they were going to close they accommodated her for her special day and did not rush through the process. They treated her so special and she absolutely loved her experience. I completely recommend making an appointment and not trying to rush in but I’m so happy they did that for her.

I appreciate the personal attention that I receive from the owner and I love the quality of nail art that Myley my nail tech gives me. She is the best!!! Love Dominion Nail Bar.

They always treat my young daughter with a lot of respect. They listen to her requests carefully and talk her through every step of the way.

I followed a specific nail tech to this establishment, when it opened, because she does amazing pedicures and is excellent at doing nails. The atmosphere at the salon is very nice and relaxing. However, The customer service is not so inviting. Every time I call to try to make an appointment, I get placed on indefinite hold. When I hang up and try to call back, the call goes straight to voicemail, but they do not have voicemail set up. If I go in as a walk-in, they tell me I have to make an appointment and get irritated when I tell them I’m not able to get through on the phones. I do not live close by, so going to this place is out of my way, which I would do for the nail tech, because she is that good. If you can put up with bad customer service from the front desk and deal with not getting your phone call answered, go see Hanna. SHE won’t let you down.

I love this place! Here are the main reasons why I love this nail salon.1) Customer service - Jenny always greets everyone with a smile, remembers their name, checks on their services while they are happening to ensure quality, and then checks again when you pay.2) No long waits - Even on busy weekends I’ve never waited more than 15 minutes. They have 20 stations for nails and probably 30 for pedicures so there is room to accommodate everyone.3) Drinks - I love that they have a bar and offer you water, sodas, or an alcoholic beverage with your services. I don’t drink more than twice a month, but sometimes it’s nice to have a drink with a pedicure or a cucumber water with my nails being done.4) Nail colors - I love the huge selection of colors. Sometimes the nail tech has to wait on me because I just can’t pick. They’re all so pretty.5) Nail quality - I’ve never had a bad job on my nails or toes here. Everyone is great. And I always get compliments on my nails.6) Group privacy - Want to get pedicures with a group of friends or family? They have 2 rooms, that can be closed off with nice drapes, with 6 pedicure chairs to accommodate you. I think it’s perfect for a relaxing trip to get your nails done with friends or maybe the day before a wedding with a bridal party.CHECK THEM OUT. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

This is a great nail salon, & I’ve been to several. The facilities are new, clean, it smells nice & it’s usually pretty quiet.I’ve been before when it was crowded, but usually there is little to no wait to be helped. And if you do have to wait, they will get you started (ie start removal of your nails etc).Jenny is always quick to greet you & help with any questions, fill drink orders & even check up on you to make sure you are happy with your service.I have had several nail technicians that were all skilled and helpful. I get dip nails- and often want a design. They are capable & skilled to help here. Once I had 2-3 working on my nails to make sure it was perfect! Jenny even called me later to make sure and told me if I didn’t love it to come back and she would fix it!So helpful and kind! Def my new nail place!

Best pedicures and dip almond shaped nails in the area (I’ve tried all nearby salons, I’m very particular about my nail shape). Jenny at the front desk always recognizes me, says hi with a smile and checks my nails when I comeIn and before I leave to see how they are. Hanna here is great at dip, although lots of the techs are. Pedicures are soo relaxing in dark rooms and good chairs.

I adore Dominion Nail Bar! I have been going here from a recommendation of a friend for almost a year and its the only place I go now. Jenny always takes great care of me and is super accommodating, making sure my nails looks great at the end of my visit! Both Dan and Mylie are fantastic! Mylies dip nails lasted the longest of any set Ive had and Dan has done my nails several times and he is always quick and has great attention to detail so they come out looking perfect.The salon itself is gorgeous and fancy and yet they are fairly priced! I went to another salon down the street before I discovered Dominion Nail Bar and they were not nearly as nice or accommodating and were more expensive! Ive also had a few pedicures here and they always do a great job and can always get me in right away. I look forward to each time I go to get my nails done here :)

Lady at the front was incredibly rude. She hung up on me twice while trying to make the appointments. It was my first time there and I invited my mom and sister and took my two daughters. I was running a few minutes late. They refused to get my mom and sister started without me. When I did arrive we waited for 40 minutes before my sister just walked out. My nails turned out great but I felt like they were trying to rush me. In the end it was a horrible experience and we will never go there again. We were supposed to get a first time discount too and never received that. Very sad because they are close to my house but I’d rather drive. Little further and get better customer service.

Waited 45 min with an appointment scheduled. Owner is mean and makes you feel uncomfortable. No going back. The service was below average also. The place is nice, bad its run by a no so good business person room was dirty. Things on floor and sink had residue from who knows how long.

Extremely rude and unprofessional!

This place is great. BUT every time I go, there is not one time that I don’t argue with Jenny, the manager. She is so difficult to work with and her customer service is extremely poor.I first started coming a few weeks after doors opened just to try the place out, I thought to myself that maybe she was just having a bad day. Although that was not the case. From the time I make the appointment, to the moment I leave those doors, I have never had a good experience with her poor attitude.Now, I come once every three weeks but I can’t stand leaving the place in a bad mood due to Jenny. When in reality I go there to get away for a while.Really considering this place after ALL the bad EXPERIENCES. I don’t know if I can keep putting up with her.

I had to come leave a review after an awful customer getting a pedicure treating the employees horribly especially Jenny. This is my 8th/9th time here Jenny remembered me after the first time and remembered exactly what liked for nail shape and made sure I the right technician. I’ve been there twice. The lady at the front is very rude. The first time I had dip on my nails & it chipped within a couple days. I went back today, even though we had an appointment we waited almost an hour to be served. I eventually ended up leaving without getting my nails done because I ran out of time. I also refuse to pay for a service when I’m treated like I’m a bother & not a welcomed client. I left and went to get my nails done at the Rim shopping center. There is a small place right next to Which which sandwich & a cup cake shop. They were friendly & served me right away. I will never go back to Dominion Nail Bar

This is a beautiful nail bar but the person running it is very rude she doesn’t communicate effectively at all. They charge me 6 dollars to fix a freaking nail lol. I paid 15 to polish my nails which I think they are over priced for they services the work is not all the best at all I have gotten better service for more of a reasonable price. I think customers are paying for the bar n the area that this nail shop is in I live in the apartments right behind it.I rather go back to Houston to get my nails done in the woodlands and that’s what I’m going to do when I head that way soon

I took my 10 year old daughter and her friend to be “pampered” for their last day of school and getting all A’s. We got there straight from school and I asked if they have a snack like chips or something to drink. The front guy (Henry) said you need to ask the tech working on them and was very rude! He did not even bother to help. They charged the same adult price for the kids. The service is mediocre and the price is way too high and they are rude. Will never be back again.

So many nails places have popped up in our area and the newest, Dominion Nail Bar is one I recommend you STEER CLEAR from; there are simply too many other options to waste your time with this one.Thursday was my third and final experience with them. The first two were less than great experiences, but I’m a biz owner and believe in giving chances. The customer service at this place is horrendous; the manager at front is so abrupt and makes the check in process extremely uncomfortable and not relaxing at all. They have created a pretty “spa like” atmosphere, but that’s where the relaxation ends. If you want to feel like you’re at a cattle call instead of a spa...maybe you’ll like it?I have a wonderful nail person that I trust and use regularly at the salons by JC, but she is only a one person shop. Thursday was two days before my daughter’s wedding, she wanted to have her nails done with her mom and two sisters together in a “pretty place”. So I made appointments here and let them know it was for a wedding. Repeatedly I was told how they would pay great attention to detail for all of us, especially the bride.We checked in for the cattle call process of fill out paper, pick color, pick drink, who’s paying, holy moly! Go here, go there! And the manager yelling at technicians. Oh vey!By Friday at the rehearsal my daughter’s, the bride, shellac was rubbing off completely. I was able to find a nail tech downtown SA (where the wedding was) to come in to their shop early Saturday morning (Her wedding day) and correct the horrendous job that Dominon Nail Bar did. From what they saw, the tech at DNB did not properly cure the shellac and it was simply still wet/sticky which allowed it to just rub off. So, I paid for her nails twice.I did reach out to the manager of DNB & she offered a $20 credit for the shellac.We will not be back and I would encourage you to avoid this place, there are simply too many others in our area to waste your time here.

DONT GO!Its expensive and not worth it!This was my first time visiting and I will not be back.When you walk in the staff at the front desk tell you to fill out paperwork indicating whether or not it was your first time and what type of service you want etc. then to go pick a polish color. For such a large place the selection of polishes is mediocre and messy.The nail technicians are nice enough but are inexperienced and you do not get your moneys worth. Mine forgot to put the cooling gel on my legs. I had to remind her. The scrub and massage where ridiculous. She rubbed the same spots over and over and over like she was just bored waiting for the timer to run out. Then on the second foot/leg she only rubbed for about half the time as she did on the first leg. The massage was almost non existent. And the polish application was pretty much the same as I could do on my own at home. My daughter was next to me in the pedicure chair. The technician who did my daughters pedicure didnt speak english and just nodded at everything my daughter tried to talk top her about. The scrub wasnt rinsed off of my daughters leg and she tried to tell her that but then she had to ask my technician to tell her.There is a beverage bar but I dont know if it was complimentary or forpurchase.The front desk staff were ok when we came in but when I went to pay I remembered that the person who referred me here said they give you 10% off your first time and they have a frequent buyer card to sign up for. I mentioned this after they receipt was already printed and said I forgot about the discount and was it too late to get it? The man at the desk just picked up the walkie talkie and radioed to someone to come to front desk. I think her name was Jenny, came up and asked me if it was my first visit and I said yes. Then she told me that they normally need to know ahead of time if it was my first visit before the services are done but she would make an exception and redo the charges. I tried to thank her and make small talk about how big the place was but she just ignored me and started talking to the man next to her.After I paid I went back to where my daughter was sitting drying her nails. There was a speck of something in the polish so she asked the technician to please fix it. While the technician was fixing it, Jenny came up to where we were sitting and stared down at my daughters hand with a scowl on her face then turned and walked away without saying a word or even looking at my daughter in the face. I asked the technician who she was and why did she do that. The technician just said she was the Manager and didnt know why she was looking at my daughters nails that way.I told my daughter about how I forgot to ask for the first time discount and she reminded me that it was something they asked on the form we filled out when we got there (which was the form that was used to ring up our services) and they should have seen it there and gave us the discount in the first place.So with all that said, we left there feeling annoyed and not relaxed with fresh nails like we expected for the $100 we paid for the service.

Bad customer service. The dipping set Ive gotten chipped in days. Came back to get it fixed the girl gave me an attitude.

Horrible experience. Rude. Very painful pedicure and then decided to use the dremel tool to strip my nail bed off my nails instead of soak them long enough to remove gel polish. Now my nails are left in poor condition. So sad when the front desk lady commented on how this procedure should not be done and didn’t even offer an apology or compensation.

Lady in the front was VERY rude & unwelcoming..she must be the owner as now I m reading several reviews abt her negative attitude towards other customers as well. If I could give it a Zero rating I wud do it as they don’t even deserve a 1 star rating.

First time at place 7-22 19 my brother in laws daughter visiting from another state invited me to have a manicure done little did I know nail polish they put on me already came off of 2 nails on my right hand that I paid $40 for.

I got French tips and they are already chipping and I have only had them for a day. Also I had to wait about an hour even when I had an appointment already set. I do not suggest going here.
