This intimate experience over a fancy nail salon any day for me! My partner and I just moved to San Antonio and came across place randomly. It’s our second time here and they are lovely. Not only do they do a good job with our nails, but they’re incredibly kind and inviting!

This was a great place for a mani pedi. There was a good flow of customers but everyone was considerate and it was relaxing. I’m very pleased with the beautiful paint job on my nails.

I was in town for my son’s graduation from Basic Training 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 and decided to get a mani/pedi. Based on the reviews, I decided to give Bonita Nails a try and I’m so glad I did!! Super friendly staff and I was happy with the results of my mani/pedi. I waited to post this review because I wanted to see how long the polish would last…it’s been 2 weeks as of today (pic)!! 🤩 Highly recommend! 😊

I asked for the first picture and the second picture was what i got. The lady is unprofessional and did not know what she was doing. I asked her for the first picture and she said she wasnt sure if she could do them i said “ thats fine ill go to another spot” she then changed her mind and said “ you know what i can try to do them” i asked her if she could fix the bump part and she said she would just cover it but u could still see the bump. i DO NOT recommended going

Bonita Nails salon uses good products and yet: the services are not expensive. I am a man (no question about it, and i dress like a man), so i dont use all the services. The pedicure is a great sensation. The staff is friendly, expert, but to the point (from Vietnam). Youll hear a lot of Vietnamese, but i dont understand one bit - its like random speech :)

Amazing and friendly service! They even offer complimentary wine, water, soda and chocolate! The pedicure massage was Amazing! This is my new spot for nails! The outside isnt much but walk in and they made this place fancy👌💆‍♀️🤑😍👑💍 way better than kiss nails!😚

I’m not from San Antonio & needed to get nail dip. Came here & they did great! Definitely will come here when I’m in town again. They were very professional & nice as well. It’s hard to find someone who does a good job. I’m picky! Haha

At first everything was good people started to show up and lady started to go fast skipped buffing on 3 fingers because phone rang. Then cut me. Dont feel like I was given the service I deserve. Will NOT be going back.

I just visited Bonita Nail Salon for the second time, & I was not disappointed. I love the way my acrylics & pedi came out. I plan on returning in a couple of weeks for a fill. The owners are very warm & welcoming, and make you feel at home.

I am visiting the area and found Bonita Nails on Google. I was greeted warmly when I walked through the door and was immediately seated. I was given a very thorough and professional pedicure. The staff is very friendly, I highly recommend!

So I came in to remove my gel acrylic tips and the nail technician lady was intent on prying them off dry by hand, ripping off layers from my nail bed. I told her to stop and demanded that they be soaked. She was visibly upset that I told her this but thankfully the manager took over and did a wonderful and thorough job removing my nails.

Jenny was great! My nails look so great and she was super kind. I will be coming back!

I feel bad leaving this review because on a human level the owners of this nail salon are nice people. Bobby in particular is a lovely man and I’ve had more than a couple interesting conversation with him since I started getting my nails done at his salon. However today I went in to remove my fake nails, because I’m moving out of state soon and I just don’t have the time to keep up with bimonthly fillings during a stressful and busy time. And this is the state of my natural nails after the removal. I know that fake nails can damage your nails over time, but My nails are not just damaged.. they are completely destroyed! They’re so paper thin that they hurt! I just tried washing a few dishes and it was painful to use my hands. I think the pictures speak for themselves. I wanted to cry when Jenny was done removing them and I saw the damage. Even she said to me to avoid getting fake nails once I get to California and suggested shellac instead. I told her no way. I’m so traumatized that I doubt I’ll get anybody near my nails any time soon. :(

Bonita Nails is a bright and clean salon with a calm atmosphere. The owners here are very nice and extremely accommodating. I am visiting San Antonio from out of town and came here based on all the good reviews. I was very satisfied with my visit. They did a great job on my manicure! Highly recommend!

My husband and I stopped in not too long before they closed. The owners were very kind and gave us both great pedicures. Clean shop and friendly staff.

Poor quality, they use new products for every client but they rush through the pedicure and they are not nice with clients. Also, one of the workers cosmetologist license was expired.

Used dirty brushes and got a nail infection refused to take responsibility for dirty work equipment

On a business trip and really needed to freshen up my nails. Called ahead and was greeted very politely and happily, this happy attitude continued throughout my time there. I had never gotten a pedicure before (I know! I am extremely ticklish) and they made sure I was comfortable. Really lovely group, enjoyed some great conversation while there. Completely recommend if you are in San Antonio!!

Jenny and Bobby are amazing people. They treat everyone like family. I’ve been coming to them for about two to three years and I’m content every time. Yes there is a wait at times but for the work they do I don’t ever mind waiting. You can call and make appointments if you’d like but I just walk in and I’m still attended to. If your looking for a forever nail salon come here you won’t regret it. ❤️ You can tell they love what they do in their work.

I wanted to wait with this review since other nail salon I used to go to end up disappointing me. So to be fair and impartial towards Bonita Nail Salon, I had to keep coming back to them.They use a different powder than other places I been to. Its called solar powder. It looks more natural on your nails and doesnt damage your natural nails as much as acrylic does. Definitely earned brownie points from me right away because of that.I went back here for 3rd time already and they stayed very consistent with quality of work and service that they provide. My nails havent lifted even once and stayed looking shiny all way until each refill.Another thing that I really like about them is that they dont grind my natural nails until the point they hurt, you can see very huge difference on my nails from when they were done in other salon and here.Bonita Nail Salon always gets my order correct and to the high standard.I know what I like is on simpler side, but thrust me - some can still mess it up. After trip to Bonita my nails look fresh, healthy and very natural just like I ask.Another part that I enjoy is that they offer wine! What can be better that getting pampered and getting some wine in?I will be returning to Bonita Nail Salon and I would recommend it to many as well. Especially when youre looking for healthier alternative to acrylic nails.

The decor is very nice. The staff was very kind and made me feel comfortable. I loved how clean and well kept the salon is. Its a little cute modern lhaven in the neighborhood. I had a pedicure done and I loved how they took care of my feet. I surely will be returning back.

Great service, no wait time in the afternoon hours. They are very friendly, and do great work. Very clean place. They do offer a refreshment. Will definitely return.

Update:I have been coming here for years and I can be quite particular at times with the design or color I want and though I sometimes take forever to choose a color/colors, they are patient and happy to help. The salon is very clean and the owners are adamant about the cleanliness of their business. The prices are some of the best in town especially for the quality of the work.Ive read some other reviews and I dont know how one person will take pictures of their destroyed nail beds after getting their nails removed one time but never posted pictures of the nails they did do before having them removed. If you are that concerned about the health of your nail beds, dont get fake nails and then have them removed and then post a bad review before you move out of town. Thats just rude. I have come to this nail salon over 25 times in the past few years and they are quick, friendly and good working people.If you are in a rush and you come at the end of the day, they might not be able to squeeze you in, so just do what I do and call ahead! I live less than 10 minutes away so I call, ask if they are busy, and if not, I tell them Ill be right there. There are way too many great reviews to not give this place a shot! Additionally, the owners have been doing nails for over 20 years. Go! I highly recommend and they did not ask me to write this review.

My favorite new nail salon! Bobby & Jenny have a great place: awesome service, good prices, and very clean. I have been coming since they opened last fall and always feel welcomed. I leave each visit happy with my nails. Hope they never move to another location. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience getting a manicure and pedicure! Very friendly and loving atmosphere! Good calming music in the background. I see the wonderful reviews this location has received, but read the ones about the horrible experiences--they are true. If any injury or damage to ones hands and nails happen once at a location, my advice to you is DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. This is the case here. Very unprofessional. I plead with this company to make things right. If you can not do the job right, just dont offer to do the service. Safety should be the #1 priority.

This was my first time getting my nails done at Bonita Nails. Ann did a fantastic job! This place has quiet a selection of shellac colors. The place is clean and well maintained. Their background music is beautiful and relaxing. I highly recommend it.

The last time I was here in December I had Mrs. Jenny and it was a wonderful experience. A bride and her family and friends were there and they still took me despite it being busy. The manicure was wonderful and just had a fun time talking with everyone. Today I made an appointment ahead of time and when I got there, they were packed. Bobby over the phone said he could do my nails, but due to it being so crowded I got someone else. Everything was going fine until two of the nails got messed up. The nail tech had to file down those nails to remove the messed up polish. I am not sure what went wrong, maybe the gel polish was old. But all my nails have air bubbles in them, fuzz, and one has a fingerprint from when she grabbed that nail. Where she filed down my nail its red and throbbing and cut by the cuticle. Overall, just Didnt have a good experience. I want to come back and try again, cause I do understand she had to rush my service, but that isnt fair to someone who doesnt get to go to salon very often.**edit** I have come back. Just as bad a s before.

Everything was great! I got a pedicure and just changed to color to my nails (hands) just that when it came down to being done with the shellac there was hardly any product on my nail and I told her if she could please do another coat of shellac because I didnt like the way it was coming out! Then she was convincing me it was pretty and what not so I legit told her I didnt like it because thats not that I asked for, then she went on to tell me it was my fault to choosing that nail polish! So rude! I told her if I knew it would come out this way I wouldve never chose it !!! She wanted to charge me 20$ for changing the color !!

Very nice, clean and friendly. Had a pedicure and and shellac set done in 1 hour and 20 minutes. Usually at other place I would be there 2 1/2 to 3 hours. So happy with Bonita Nails. Gave it 4 stars because Bobby handpicks his customers. He does great nails.

As a Single mother who works full time and also a part-time college student, I don’t have as many privileges as other females do. Today I did something I have NEVER done. I took my daughter with me into a nail salon because as single mothers we have to multitask. I have been to this nail salon multi times and always have good services. But unfortunately, my daughter got sick while we were in the nail salon and threw up on the way to the restroom as I was sitting waiting for my nails to dry. As any mother would do I rushed my daughter to the restroom trying to help her and also cleaning any messed she made on the floor. As I returned to my seat I noticed I had smudged my pedicure and ask the nail tech can she please fit my pedicure? And I would wait till she was finished with another customer. She made a face and asked me to follow her to the chair. As I was sitting waiting for her she was talking to the other employees in their native language and I could not understand what they were saying. But I did notice both females were laughing and looking at me. I again apologized for my daughter throwing up in their shop.Now, this is my issue with this situation I could have easily been rude and asked the nail tech why was she making the other women laugh was she making fun of me or my daughter? And asked them to explain what was so funny? We give these businesses our money for a service. We do not deserve to be laughed at or made fun of because we ask them to fix something we are paying for! While we are sitting right in front of them! Just because we dont understand their native language. This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. Due to this reason, I will never go back to this nail salon and give them my money.

I went to Bonita Nails, because I saw their amazing reviews, AND they were open on a Sunday! They greeted me, and generously offered me a drink! The work they did was fantastic! My whole nail was covered, and filed to protection! Will be going back!

Jenny and Bobby have done a fantastic job on my nails. I have been to this location several times and each visit has proven they are very clean and consistent. Their prices are very reasonable compared to some of the other salons I have visited in the past. Bonita Nails is my new nail salon and I would recommend them to anyone.

They charged me $25 for a COLOR CHANGE! Absolutely ridiculous!!!!! $60 for a BASIC pedicure and a color change (No Manicure) totally ripped me off.

They stayed open for us and it was already time to close I couldnt appreciate them more. Very clean and beautiful place, offered me something to drink I felt spoiled. Really nice and amazing people my nails came out so beautiful they did a great job.

I got an amazing shellac manicure that lasted 3 weeks without chipping! Jenny is very detail oriented and got it perfect. The salon is new and very clean. They even put disposable liners in the pedicure tubs.

WORST manicure and Pedicure Ive ever had. They discriminate against Men. Do not go here. I went with my girl and I was done an hour before here they spent way more time and attention making sure she looked great, which I appreciate but meanwhile my cuticles look awful the cut off the dead skin off her body but none my one. Didnt tip and will NEVER return. it may have been the person person I was working with, because her skill level was clearly subpar because I voiced concern and the guy who seemed s to be in charge didnt say a word to me.

What a nice shop! We are in from Indiana and the ladies at Bonita Nails were so kind, and the pedis my mother in law and I got were soothing! I also had a full set of acrylics put on my finger nails and was asked each step what my preferences for shape, length, and color were. Whole heartedly recommend this nail salon.

GEM for southtown residents. Located directly across the street from the HEB off Zarzamora, this nail salon offers amazing quality manicures and pedicures for fair prices. A shellac manicure and pedicure will cost you $75 and the care spent making sure the nails are shaped correctly is wonderful. Its recommended you call to make an appointment because in my visit alone more than 10 people were turned away due to how busy it was. Highly reccomend!!

Did a great job on my daughter and myself. We had pedi and shallack nails. It has been over 3 weeks and they still look good. Have had many compliments. We will be going back.
