I wouldnt live here again. Never consistent with the hot water. Fruit flies and gnats everywhere no matter how much you clean the apartment, and we pay for pest control. Rent is way overpriced they get you to move in with the move in special which sounds great at first. The lady in the front office gives everyone a hard time. Trash is full almost every day. Everyones a/c makes a loud banging noise through out the whole cycle even after they said they fixed it. Every time they fix the plumbing they leave the whole parking lot full of mud so good luck getting into your vehicle without tracking it everywhere.

I will say the hot water was fixed in a very timely manner.. I woke up and I now have the hottest water since Ive lived here.. I think the staff as a whole is doing a good job .. If I havent said thank you.. Thank You.. yall have a big mess here to clean up..and I see that yall are putting forth the effort in doing so.. if anyone thinks different then they are part of the problem ..

Ive lived here at the Maxwell since Sept. 2020. I have submitted several maintenance requests and NEVER had any response to them....until NOW. The apartments are just recently under new management and they are GREAT!! Everyone is very friendly and professional. I am hopeful about living here for the first time since Ive moved in. They seem to really care about their residents! Very refreshing!!

I David Medina can say that The Maxwell Apartments has an excellent property site. Very clean, organized, quiet, safe, and no problems with parking. Staff and maintenance are professional and responsive plus positive attitudes. Apartments are clean, beautiful, quiet, nicely painted, appliances are awesome. I will happily recommend The Maxwell Apartments to positive people as myself to come and move in at this apartments because it gives you a peace of mind. I went with my mom to try to do a walk in tour of a 1 bedroom. I called prior to ask if they do walk ins because I hadnt made an appointment. The woman I spoke to on the phone said that was fine and we were about 5 minutes away. I didnt catch the womans name on the phone but she was really rude and didnt seem interested in helping. We then got to the apartments, walked in, didnt get greeted. There was a couple in front of us and then another girl who had an appointment. The couple left and I told the worker oh this girl was ahead of us she can go first. She then told us, appointments stop at a certain time today since she was the only worker there. Her tone was rude.. There was another lady waiting outside and when my mom and I left the lady outside stated us oh wow theres a wait and I said yes you have to make an appointment. At this time the worker yelled from the inside I dont know what theyre telling you maam but you can come in. We proceeded to tell her she didnt have to speak to us that way and that we were just telling the lady that she had to make an appointment. I didnt feel she was professional. She told me I could make an appointment for the next day but I wont be going back to tour, due to the attitude of the worker. The people in the front office set the tone for us who are coming in to tour apartments and I dont feel this visit was handled well.

Giving vacate notice to people who got rental assistance.. saying old management didnt post payment to residents accounts... instead of investigating where the money went that the city paid they are throwing out residents that are just getting back on there feet due to covid....

I only give it 1 star due to the inability to give it less. We have had multiple tickets put in and closed without any work being done. Staff is rude and dismissive. Attempting to get simple information has proven to be quite a struggle. My son and wife have been forced to tolerate living conditions they shouldnt have to such having to not be able to take a hot shower or bath for the first 4-5 months we were here to carpets getting bad smells after water damage and not tending to them properly in a way to actually solve it. We have had multiple areas in the apartment leaking badly, they come out look at it say its fine and leave. We have had tickets closed without even seeing a maintenance person come to the door and we had made great efforts to assure we were home. The office conducts themselves in a way that makes it to where you do not want to interact with them in the slightest.

If I could give them no 🌟 I would cause it has been since November 28th 2020 that a drive by happened a bullet strayed into my window and they still havent fixed it, they are going up on rent and not worth as much as they are charging save yourself the trouble and dont move here.

I am a current resident at Maxwell...I regret signing a 15-month lease! I’ve been here 6 months now and was ready to move out after first week here. Apartments & grounds are horribly maintained, water is off constantly, all kinds of hidden fees, can’t get things repaired properly, gate doesn’t work most of the time, pools never open, bugs everywhere...I could go on and on.And to make it even worse, the management is horrible and the manager is very rude. The manager will argue and verbally attack you, she acts as if she’s a prison guard!I accidentally paid my rent twice online in January...the first one paid, the second didn’t clear. Even though rent was paid in full and on time, I was charged $50 for the second payment not going through.DO NOT RENT HERE!* * Update * *It’s been 3 months since I first posted…it’s only gotten worse!! My kitchen sink has been un usable for 2 weeks and they refuse to repair! I’ve filed to terminate my lease because apartments are uninhabitable.

Poor customer service, not professional, and very un-organized. Definitely do not move here if your are military, and I would not recommend this place to anyone moving to the San Antonio area. The apartments are too overpriced for the area they are located in. The apartments are small and they will charge you for everything they can possibly find when you decide to move out just to take more money.

I have lived here since April 2020 and they are always have water leaks, pipes busting. We are always without water every week or out of hot water every week. They never fix any repairs. Cars get broken into. Gun shots everyday or week. There are mice, skunks and possums here. They are desperate for people to move in with there move in specials. They dont tell them about you will not have water the whole time you live here. Stay away from The Maxwell apartments !!

First let me start by saying I moved in a week ago. I was expected to have all dues before moving in which is understandable. That being so, I expected my unit to be ready starting the first day I started paying rent for! I was told It would be ready 5:30-6, I called and asked if I’d be able to to come by during lunch to pick up keys as I didn’t get out of work till 6:30(or I could wait till Saturday or Mon.to retrieve keys. I was told that was not possible as paperwork was already signed)was told yes but I would not be able to enter apt till 5:30/6(which was perfectly fine with me as I would be at work). I called at 4 to check on status, was told me my unit would be ready at 6:30 as they were still working on it. I decided to go by at 7:20 and the unit was not done and the cleaning lady tells me she was barely getting started because they had just finished painting and the floors. the whole unit smelled of paint was very dirty! I decided to leave her to clean and returned back at 8:50 and she was barely leaving. At this point I was not very upset as I was already charged for that day and wasn’t even able to enter the unit till 9pm!! When I did the first walk through I noticed my stove handle was broke some lights bulbs were out, the sink in kitchen had a bucket underneath due to sink leaking, the master bedroom Didnt have smoke detector, the door doesn’t even touch the doorframe(which I was informed it would not be fixed because that is an upgrade and that unit does not get upgrades), my pantry door doesn’t close, our water temp is either hot or burning hot, the sinks and tubs were clogged with hair and other objects, counter tops and kitchen stove still have old oil dried on them and sticky, 2nd bdrm door wouldn’t open, since they had just painted when they closed all cabinet doors they peeled paint right off when we opened them. There is much more wrong! And this wasn’t even the layout that was promised to us!! Of course its 9pm office was closed so there was nothing to do but wait. I called first thing Saturday to speak to manager regarding being charged the first night and my unit not even being complete and I was told it was my fault as they were short staffed and I chose that move in date. I was told by manager “I can’t believe we did all this work for YOU and your still not happy.” I told this manager I’m sorry but I offer to push back move in date and y’all told me no, it is not my fault your office agent told us the unit would be move in ready by that date as the unit only needed some “touch ups”. She then told me I would receive a credit for next month for the unit not being completed and even now a week later items still aren’t completed( I am going to have to pay out of pocket if I want a door that touches the frame!) she told me they would get back to me regarding unfinished items, never received call. I called back Mon. to resubmit work order, didn’t receive a call till 6:30pm when office was closing to let me know that since it wasnt done online it would not be completed, submitted online Tues. morning and it stayed pending till Thurs. when I called in to follow up. when I called Tues. to let them know work order had been submitted and to check status on refund they said manager would get back to me end of day. nothing no call. When manager finally called me Thurs. I was told that I could not get refund even though unit wasn’t ready. I confronted manager about all the issues and how I’d spoken to other tenants and they told me all about water issues how they’ve been there with other issues since they moved in and management just doesn’t care to fix said issues if it cost money to fix and I was told by their new manager Sylvia(who comes from corporate)that the tenants are lairs who make up stories and lies just because they aren’t happy, that if I wanted to believe them that was my choice. Shes rude and just didn’t want to help the only thing she offered was a gift card. As a representative of the company she needs to work on her customer service silks as us “lying tenants” are the reason she has a job!

Never any hot water, or sometimes there is no water at all. They never inform you the water will be turned off. They allow residents to let their pets defecate every where and no one cleans it. The trash is always overflowing and the valet trash service is a joke. Once you sign the lease, good luck getting anything fixed from the maintenance people. AND ROACHES EVERYWHERETrash apartments and definitely not worth the priceUpdate: New management, same issues. No one answers phone in office. Maintenance still takes forever and pest control is crazy. Not to mention there is trash everywhere in the complex. STAY AWAY

Management VIOALTING the CDC Non Eviction laws. Trying to evict people during this pandemic even though there is law in place. They turn your water off, never any hot water. AC never works when its hot out. Mean and rude workers and staff. Then the manager replies to reviews here playing ignorant and pretending that they care and pretending to be SHOCKED at our complaints. They know very well the horrible reputation they have and how common these complaints are. This place is well overpriced by hundreds.

Do NOT move here, this place is hoarded with roaches and rodents. There’s never any hot water, they don’t even have the decency to notify you or tell you when it’s going to be back on. The AC is always broken. The maintenance people don’t know their hands from their feet. They charge $1000+ when it’s not even worth $600 a month. They never do maintenance when requested half the time. The walls are paper thin I can hear everything that my neighbor does. This complex belongs in a landfill. Save your money and move somewhere else.

I recently moved into my unit about 5 weeks ago. The staff was pretty helpful during the move in process. My application took a few days to be approved, but after approval the entire move in process was quick and easy. My unit also has great amenities. I really enjoy the pool and fitness center too. Super convenient.

Management changes after every month.my roof has been leaking for over three months .I put work orders,call the office but nothing has been done.part of the roof had to fall i called emergency they showed up took pictures and left and never showed up again.when I ask about them not responding to my work orders they say its the former mgt put in another one.that is there game !the worst place u can ever live in

Moved in two weeks ago and have not had working AC the entire time. I have submitted two work orders, both of which were closed without the problem being resolved. It is 7pm and it is 84 degrees in my apartment.The hot water is also out at the moment.Request for them to put weather stripping on a door has been open for almost two weeks.So far, I am not impressed.Update (8 months later): We currently have no hot water, again. This isnt the first time that has happened since the original post. Management seems to not want to take any blame, saying it is out of their control... Yet they keep trying to fix an obviously failing boiler system instead of replacing it. Still not impressed.Update 9/16/2021: No hot water again. No email warning, no phone call.

Please do not move here. The rent is not worth it at all Almost close to $1000 for cold water, or when we do have hot water that’s all we have. No cold water. And it’s blazing hot. Whoever remodeled the apt needs to find another job because there is tiles missing in the restroom and a big crack. The garbage disposal always is breaking. And don’t get me started on the green doors. Hideous.

The apartment complex is absolutely horrible. They’ll turn off your water an not leave you any notice . During COVID at this time having running water to wash your hands is crucial. They have absolutely no care for us an our family. Their dumpsters are always over filled an usually have trash all the way in the street . Management will never answer their phone always forwarding my calls they continues to fool people into thinking this is a decent apartment complex . They threw me out after taking 1000 out of my rental assistance for dog fees for two dogs which the fee is not that high, took my tv and couches and refused to give anything back and threatens with court and lawyers. I left the property during a pandemic. This is horrible and very wrong.

She is very professional and helped with everything that I needed. I have been a resident for 10 years now and I always recommend this property and will continue to do so!! I would give this place a negative 100 rating if I could. I have only lived here for about 2 and a half months and I have had to deal with the reoccurring issue of no hot water since I moved in. Let me tell you, I have had my share of problems with other places that I have lived at but not to this extent. I dont even go out of my way to go and write reviews whether it be an apartment, restaurant etc. but this place is so bad that I would like to warn whomever is considering moving here. DO NOT. and when i do complain to the office they can never give me a time as to when this issue will be resolved (usually I will have to wait several hours) the problem that I am currently having is that I will have not hot water around 7pm (is when I would find out). well the office closes at 6pm so I am forced to wait until 9am the next day. Once the office is informed they work on it and for example today they said they fixed the issue at around 4pm. I decide to shower at 6:30pm and guess what. NO HOT WATER. and again I am forced to wait until the next day, and the same cycle continues, I am on my fourth day of this cycle. I have also reached out to the property management (Catalyst Management Group) and they have not returned my several calls and voicemails to the headquarter offices in Dallas and Chicago. I sent them an email and they were of no help at all. Basically they told me to read my lease contract again and they are sorry to hear about my situation. BS. Please for your own sake do not move here.

1100 for a 2 bedroom with a non working AC then we get blamed that we rushed them when we were asked over and over if we wanted to move in now? Paid prorated rate of 250 for nothing, now just Because the office is responsive doesnt mean the maintenance is, or does there job. I gave them a chance because of Josie, but after 3 days now of AC not working when they wanted us to move in now and excuses of being told they are on there way or they just did it 15 minutes ago when in fact it was done at 1235 and now its 3 oclock and still 80 degrees im my apartment where i have kids its ridiculous and honestly if i knew this before i wouldnt have moved here. After reading all the other horrible reviews, i now know to always go based on reviews . they are over charging rent by 300. And they are rude maintenance especially one of them actually was ignoring us .

Have lived here for almost two years and for the amount that we pay in rent you would think that we wouldn’t have as many issues as we have. For starters we moved into the model apartment, and it does not have a vent for our dryer. Put in a work order when we moved in and we are still waiting for that to be fixed.Then we had a leak in our master bathroom which caused a nice crack in our ceiling. Put in a work order for that, still waiting and numerous maintenance people have seen the issue, and always the same answer, oh we’ll be back to patch that up. Still waiting.And of course my favorite thing about The Maxwell, is the on going issue of no hot water. Love calling the apartments and getting the same useless answer of there’s someone out fixing it while there is no one on site. I would love to know where these invisible workers are that are supposedly out here so often.Just save your money and go somewhere else. Don’t let these apartments take your money when it’s not even worth the headache.

I really dont put reviews on line, but I figure with all the changes in the office and maintenance staff I would go ahead and applaud the team that is in place here now. The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable on every question or concern I have had recently. I see that is place I call home is really coming up from where it was when I first moved in. I see the maintenance staff constantly moving around left and right getting things done. I would recommend this place.

This place is so bad with trying to fix water leaks/broken pipes and sending out notices that are not even accurate everyday other day there’s another leak or something wrong with the water. The staff was very friendly, they answered all of our questions and were extremely helpful. We were accepted less than an hour after we applied and signed the lease the very next day so we were very happy about being able to move in so soon. The apartment is beautiful and very clean, we couldn’t be happier!

I currently live in this complex and I will tell you that there is nothing nice I will say about it besides the fact that i am thankful that I have a roof over my head. I moved here about 3 month ago. I am new the area and I didnt know any better. I was going through a divorce at the time and kids are involved. So I wanted something. I wouldnt say the worst decision because not to far from where I stay at, there are homeless people I encounter everyday. But, be mindful that it isnt friendly staff you will be working with after you sign your lease. They are friendly at the beginning and then thats it. If you have a low expectations for the time and you are just looking for a roof over your head, this is the place for you. Expect to see Roches, huge rats running around, delay in maintainance request, hot water outage atleast 5 times a month and no water at all for a day so far with no notice. The staffs are always on time collecting their rent dues and no issues charging you late fees if you are late on your rent ( this hasnt happened to me yet, I am always on time). They can be rude via emails about notifications in regards to late fees and anything that is going on in the neighborhood regardless of who does or what. I personally never lived in a place as bad as this and I consider myself low maintenance person. But if I pay a little bit over $1,000 for 2 bedroom apartment, I am going to have something to say about it. Now, some good things about it is the bus stops are near the apartment and it starts pretty early and stops late as well. I drive so thats not really beneficial for me, but its good to know in case if anything happens to my car. Other apartments near maxwell are also available to you for about the same price. If I know what I know now, had I choosen this place? Abluletly NOT! Its pretty gross. I hope this helps. I will be moving out once my lease is up. Been here for about a year now, staff is constantly changing but i feel like the new management has done a lot pf improvements to the property. Water issues have been fixed, always see the manager walking the property, very helpful. Kathy has talked me into renewing so i will be signing my lease soon. Im looking forward to see the positive changes coming to the Maxwell.

“Valet trash” rarely comes to pick up our trash. We live on the 2nd floor, so idk if they are too lazy or just don’t want to go up there. Called many times regarding this issue and it has never been fixed. This morning, like many other mornings, there is trash all over my front door because of wild animals. Maybe if I set the trash at the bottom of the stairs they will grab it... but no I will get fined by the apartment complex for leaving it down there? Rent here is low for a reason...

We have only lived here for a few months but so far all my experiences have been terrible. Nonstop issues with our ac going out. Something from the ac is leaking into the closet causing mold to grow on the walls and even on our shoes which we have had to throw away. They keep sending out maintenance workers who seem to always take the easy fix and nothing has been done for weeks on the closet issue. All they have done is send out the carpet guys when the leak has yet to be fixed. The only positive thing that has been done is that they installed a window unit but even with that i cant cook or clean the rest of the apartment without feeling like im about to pass out. I have mentioned to the office that im pregnant and anemic multiple times but i see nothing getting done.

I’ve been trying to shower and make some breakfast since I woke up, but it’s impossible when the water is cut off, I have been trying to reach the office and no one is answering. I have 2 toddlers and this is very inconvenient for me . I’ve only been here a month a half this is the second time I’ve had no water. Writing a review on behalf of a resident there. Beware, theyve been on the news and sued before for negligence. Airducts were encrusted with severe mold to where it was spreading to the walls. The maintenance has no training as they went in there said it was just dirt and wiped it down, I had to find out myself when I went in, opened the A/C cover and saw that there was a severe leak with mold growing. It got to the point where I had to move out under doctors orders as I was so sick I could no longer go to work. I packed up and immediately called the office and told them of the situation. I let them know that the conditions were uninhabitable and there was mold in the apartment. The manager did not care and just said I have to keep paying until the end of my lease. A note from myself, Ive worked for luxury apartment homes for 5 years and this is the worst case of negligence I have seen by an apartment community.Pictures of the mold on the baseboards from the leaking AC unit (was leaking inside of the walls). And then the inside of the main filter on the AC. All of the black stuff is mold, there was water sitting on the bottom, and then rust just from the leak being there for so long. Maintenance never cleaned up the mold to this day even after multiple complaints.And lastly, the positive reviews on here are from when the apartment community was raffling gift cards for giving residents 5 star reviews.

It’s a nice quiet area. The staff is nice and friendly and have fixed any issues in a timely matter. The staff has been doing the very best they can after taking over a few months ago from the previous owners who didn’t do much to fix issues.

Please DONT STAY HERE!! We had a bad experience here!! We gave a $700 total deposit on the time we were here and we wanted it back but NO management is full of excuses! And never got our deposit back! Rent was always paid on time! Plus they want to charge you over everything. My husband and I had forgotten a couple things a day after moving out and they wanted to charge $25 per item. We asked where was that in the contract and they didnt know what to say. There always issues with the water and a lot of times NO hot water. I loved that area but this place is the worst!! I turned in keys and asked it there was anything else or if anything was needed and they said no.After moving out we still get a bill for $333.00

First year started out pretty good, by the end my AC went out and the maintenance at that time said it wasnt a permanent fix, happened a few months, went to the BBB and was given a new AC unit that didnt have further issues. Fun doesnt stop there, due to their mistakes and not being able to file their outsider work correctly, I was charged over 1k. At first I paid to make sure not to be late and then asked for my refund since it was due to the AC issues I had. Took a few people to get that done, then comes a different company to take over, they over charge me as well over 1k and I refused to pay since it was all issues with AC. Manager and staff are useless. Corporate had to take care of my payment. I would of loved to have left but didnt want to have a broken lease. During all the rain I got mold on the ceiling (they somewhat took care of it), water damage (apartment wasnt in the best shape when I first moved it) and yes I have all the pictures as well as printed items, only way to win against them, they damaged my personal items when maintenance would come in, they would not leave any work orders showing what was done, I just moved out today and still had two pending work orders from 2 months ago not completed. I did demand my refund but of course they stated they has to walk the apartment which I understand. Again I do have the pictures from before and after I moved in, all the water damage, the mold and how I left it (the same). There was issues with water being cut off, screen shot all those as well, water burning hot on both sides or there not being any hot water. Overall, worst place to live, oh and the front office even had the audacity to lie in my face that I never gave them paper work to print before going to work. So yes I had some very LOVELY words with their staff. Save yourself the trouble, the location is perfect and the outside is beautiful but the staff and the apartment issues are horrible. Oh yes and going back to BBB to make sure I get my refund back. Would love to leave a -10, they dont deserve a 1 star.

My boyfriend was on the edge of being homeless, he comes into The Maxwell looking for an immediate move in, fills out his application, the staff was so amazing and helpful that they got him a beautiful apartment within 3 days. This is a very professional complex and I highly reccomend this place to anyone looking for affordable, flexible apartments.

I just notice they have 2 pages i will post my review on this one as well!There has been a lot of issues when I moved to the Maxwell, but I can say the new manager is very helpful she lets us know when there is something going on and you can tell she is trying very hard to get the issues resolved. she is also upfront with you, if something did not get fixed yet she will tell you its not fixed yet and explain why its not fixed. Previous manager wouldnt even communicate anything with you. I was going to put my notice but im going to renew 6 more months and see how it goes.

**Will be posting videos and pictures soon of everything that has happened***If I could I would rate this place a zero. I suggest you look somewhere else to save your money. Almost every week either the water is turned off or there is no hot water and still have the audacity to charge for a full month of water. Just recently water was turned off and they were making residents check out keys to take a shower in vacant apartments? They charge you $30 a month for trash to be taken out, but more than half of the time I end up taking it out myself because the trash stays out there, if I dont. The moment I applied they made it a long process, told me I got the apartment (had to cancel my living situation on dorm facilities), then told me I didnt get the apartment after I showed up with all my stuff from Corpus Christi. I was there from 9 am until 8 pm after the office closed at 6 pm. They gave me a room that wasnt ready because they accidentally gave me a 2 bedroom and wanted me to pay more, after I had applied for a one bedroom. They didnt even bother getting the new room ready and the people had just moved out. So I was stuck with a dirty apartment that I had to clean. I will be posting weekly videos, so you could see the problems, so that it may help you to understand the problems these apartments have and maybe keep you away from renting here. I even have all the pictures of when I first moved in and all the documents of them notifying us that water will be turned off. I live here only because at this point I have too. I dont want break the lease, nevertheless ruin my credit score. I just think the charges are ridiculous and from what I hear its a hard time when ending your lease. But Im getting ready with documents and a lawyer just in case.February 3,2020: for some reason the bottom of my lock does not turn, as if it were changed or something. Called Maintance and have been waiting outside of my apartment for about 30 min. Let’s see how long I stay out here or if they forget about me and don’t show up. Might just make this my Maxwell experience diary lol.

Visited the apartments, hoping there would have been improvement despite the reviews. Even on our way in, a resident warned us against moving in. If the reviews are that bad, and even the residents advise against it, I wouldnt trust the office ladies with my life. As they were laughing on our way out of the office. I may not be a current resident, but the experience trying to become one was awful.

CONSUMER ALERT/PUBLIC HEALTHI lived in apartment 1904. It has a filthy A/C unit from 1984. I became ill, my cat died. I had an independent Professional Inspection conducted, and the report found Aspergillius mold and fungus in the apartment and A/C unit. (I have viewed other mold complaints on google.reviews as well.) My company on-line submitted maintenance requests to them were not addressed. Per Texas Tenants Rights laws I vacated an unsafe dwelling. I sent the Complex Management, and both the Regional (Dallas) and Corporate Offices (Denver) Certified letters regarding my treatment and concerns. No one has responded to me in over 90 days (with multiple other Email and phone contacts). I notified the Texas Public Attorney, so you can view my complaint--it is public record. I have 40 pages of documentation, photos, witnesses. This is not an angry ex-renter. This is someone from your community who suggests you consider your health before renting here.

After 3 years of living here and being a responsible tenant I moved out on good standing to receive a very surprising collections notice in the amount of$456.00, 10 months later without ever being contacted by the complex in regards to a balance. Charging me for rent at an extended time frame outside my lease termination date when I had already moved out and additionally, they never refunded my deposit even though I called for weeks and they always had a new excuse.I contacted them and they were unwilling to help me resolve this issue since I cannot provide a copy of the signature when I returned my keys. Which they conveniently don’t have a copy of either in my file. These fraudulent charges are an abuse by the company and have affected my credit and rental history.I will be hiring a lawyer and making a complaint with theTexas attorney general.

The new leasing manager is awesome,Katie goes out of her way to assist you in whatever way you need.Jessica gets everything done as a complete receptionist/agent shoud. Shell even stay a little late to make sure that it gets done.and thats on her own time not companys. James head of maintenance and his assistants get the job done him and Mike are hard workers.

I will say the staff is super friendly and pleasant to talk to but they don’t have the best communication. I have put in two work orders in the last two weeks and I had to call almost a week later to follow up. When I called I talked to someone different than the time before. I was told someone would be contacting me by the end of that day but didn’t hear anything. I would call back and tel them that was like my 3rd time calling and then I would finally get things done. So I don’t think the maintenance staff has great communication with the office staff on how and when things will get done.

The management is horrid. No issues get resolved. Excuses after excuses to get you out of their office. They never answer the phones. As of today, the ENTIRE property has been without water AND WITHOUT A WARNING since 8AM. It is now 9:15PM... I cant cook, wash a load of laundry or take my six year old a shower. Yet they expect me to pay $945 faithfully by the 3rd of each month... This is not acceptable. WE NEED HELP HERE. I CANT BREAK MY LEASE. THIS HAS BEEN A CONSTANT ISSUE FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS. Im saving up for a house but shouldnt be punished for living here.

HORRIBLE!! The water has been off since 10 am it is going to be about 12 hours straight with no water. Maintenance is bad and dont even get me started with management. There is a real pest issue, which is all the ants that are everywhere. Trash service is bad too. There are raccoons coming in the middle of the night digging through the trash. Just really bad quality of living overall.

This is my 5th month here and I am already anticipating to move out. For what I pay here my money might as well go into the trash. I live alone and my water is substantially high. There is always a problem with the water lines and the staff is horrible. I am not one to complain I have been very lenient with these people and yet I still receive the type of customer service from hell. Im not sure why they changed management, however I can say they made the wrong change I have tried to get prices for a new mailbox key for three weeks and they seem to not be able to figure it out. The gated community has been open for over a month already instead of fixing the gate they update light fixtures. This management payed no attention to who they were letting move in I know for a fact there is drug movement in this complex and they have yet to fix it the 24 hour security has me at a loss I have not seen them in about three months since this new team came. The office staff is a joke, I highly recommend AVOIDING THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!! you would be better moving into a place where you get what you pay for 800 a month for a place that is falling apart is not ideal.

Werent really informed to well about the 60 day notice. So now they charge us an arm and a leg. Since this month should be prorated to adjust on the move in they decided to charge us 1400... that makes no sense. Never been late in payments. The office is unorganized and management is constantly changing. We have the highest upgrade and still not even remotely good for what they charge. Cockroaches has been my main concern with living here. Just ready to move.

Horrible experience I would never release my lease here ... I pay for pest control every month and I have cockroaches everywhere my water gets turned off like twice a month ... my bath tub is pealing ... my roof has a small leak where we have to put a small pot to catch the water ... the front gate has yet to work since Ive moved in and that was 8 months ago ... cops are always there ... random people walking up and down the apartment complex.... i cant even invite people over cause Im just that embarrassed with where I live I will never live here ever again !!!!! First apartment and I regret it so much .... if it was my choice I wouldnt even rate it a 1 star thats how bad this apartment complex is .....

Beware. There was water damage, water leaks from upstairs pipes in my daughters apartment and they would not fix it. Had the county come out and site them for uninhabitable conditions. She paid all 12 months of rent and moved out. They never sent a notice, closing bill or any form of contact regarding the supposed bill she owed. Two weeks after she moved out there was a $500 broken lease hit on her credit report. STAY AWAY!! DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. THEY WERE ALSO ON KSAT FOR THEIR UNINHABITABLE APARTMENTS AND CONSTANT WATER SHUT OFFS. And, the property management company is non-existent.

If I could possibly give this negative stars I would. How could a business allow for sewage to over flow in an apartment and not do anything about it not once but multiple times? How could a business allow for the water to be cut off without any real reason MULTIPLE times and then simply give excuses when asked about this issue? This is a constant struggle and a battle with this complex and seriously needs to be addressed. I wouldnt wish for anyone to live like this. PLEASE find another place to live it is not worth it. You most definitely do NOT work hard to do anything for anyone who lives here and you should be ashamed to even claim this. Fix the issues that continue to come up and sop your lying.

I’ve been waiting for someone to come in to change my kitchen lights for a week already. I put in a request as the staff asked and i have been calling everyday to ask if they will be coming in today and all they tells me is “someone will go in today or tomorrow “ or “someone will be there in 15min” its been a whole week and counting and i still have no light in my kitchen. I’m only giving this apartment complex a one star since I have to put one if I could chose not to add a star I would. BY FAR THE WORST APARTMENT to ever live in. The front gate never worked and It was promised to work when I moved in. 2. I hat a RAT problem. I had at least 8 RATS in my apartment when we told management she said “we don’t call them rats we call them mice” NO WHAT I SAW WAS A RAT. They never fixed the problem and we pay for pest control. Another problem was the trash was always overflown. And last but not least they randomly starting doing parking passes and expect you to pay $50 dollars for one. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. I could not have my kids in a RAT infested apartment.

Not the most luxurious place to live but pricing is pretty good & units are pretty nice, especially the elite units . Although the management that was here a couple months ago didnt care much for their job, the new management is really trying to clean up & make these apartments way better to live in. I must say that even though they are getting a bit more strict on what can & cannot be done, they are doing a very good job in renovating the place.

The dumpsters were moved in front of my apartment. The complex moved them there from their original spot out of no where. So if you think you found a cozy apartment free of the wind of trash youre not exactly safe...your parking lot could be next!! Oh and have some water saved for emergencies they always shut the water off randomly here.

If you enjoy visiting family for a few hours or having guest over expect you car to be towed they want you to have visitors passes but office isnt open all day so imagine basically having a curfew when guest come by they are chancing 219.00 dollar fee if they decide to come by unannounced after office hours not to mention my bf has put in 6 work orders and only one was actually done out all of them....

Found 2 rats in my apartment spoke with property manager and they didn’t find it a problem. Rachel is money hungry and didn’t inform me of the rat infestation. Now I’m stuck in a lease that i can’t seem to get out of. Maintenance workers go into the apartment without a heads up. I’ve had money stolen and jewelry stolen.

I have been at City Trails for 1 year and just renewed my lease. This is an older complex and problems do occur, like issues with the water lines. They are attended to as quickly as possible. Everyone complains about the issues with the garbage. Well people, throw YOUR garbage in the compactor instead of leaving it for the maintenance guys to clean. You show no respect for the property by leaving YOUR garbage. As far as the staff, Jennifer, Rachel and ALL the staff are awesome. They will go over and beyond to take care of issues.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. You can’t force a late payment on everyone when we didn’t receive an email or notice saying the rent HAD to be paid this month before the 3rd. There’s no online portal, dropbox outside, and no one answers the phone!!!!Going 30 hours at least once a week without water. Please do not stay here!!!!!!! Westlake Villas are right next door with cheap rent. Don’t waste your time.

This place is the absolute worst place to live. Since Ive lived here a pipe bursts damn near every month leaving us either without water or without hot water. Imagine taking taking a cold shower before work in the winter. Yes Ive had to do it on numerous occasions. Staff doesnt answer the phone and when they do they dont know what the Hell is going on. Maintenance men fix things half ass. My AC wasnt working right in the summer and it took them almost 2 weeks to figure out the issue and correct it. Meanwhile Im sweating in my apt that was over 90° every night. Temperatures exceeded 100° during the day. Oh and dont bother calling corporate, they dont answer the phone or return messages either.

Where to begin... The water will randomly be shut off for days at a time with no notice. The trash and dumpster area is absolutely disgusting; always over flowing and stinking. The maintenance crew has to be hounded for DAYS to get any actual work done (for example, it took 4 days of me calling non-stop to get a leak in the washroom repaired. Meanwhile we were without washer/dryer access AND they pulled out and left the machines just sitting in the center of the kitchen.) No amount of cleaning, scrubbing, and bleaching can keep the roaches and pests at bay. Owners/management are changing every other month it seems, also without notice. I will say, the current office people seem to be the best weve had thus far in three years of residence. Parking is a complete disaster.There is dog/cat crap literally EVERYWHERE so watch your step! Ive been here for 3 years ONLY due to convenience of location.

If you are okay with you water ALWAYS being shut off and dealing with pests such as mouses,roaches,scorpions,gnats, and a ton of ants this is the place for you! All the management cares about is curb appeal so you can sign your life away for 12 months! Dont believe they pretty photos they post, it does not look like that here. They need to focus on the root problem and stop trying to patch things up with a easy fix! There has been 3 managers in the past 12 months and all they worry about is the outside curb appeal not actual problems ! You need a work order fixed??Make sure you have time on you hands because you literally have to call them every week to ask when maintenance is going to get it taken care of until you just give up! The ladies in the office are terribly rude, they talk to you with attitude and honesty they really don’t care about anything you are requesting! Oh and you pay extra per month for pest control. They spray a few place not your whole house and leave. Nobody ever asks what the problem is, so how is this water substance supposed to solve the problem(I say water because nothing goes away with their solution). If your okay with living in a dump with increasing rent, then this is the place for you :) Update: They implemented a new Valet trash service which is pretty awesome. Neighbors dont follow rules and leave trash out all day and weekend when they trash is not being picked up. There has been an increase in ants and rodents because of nasty neighbors. There is no penalty for them doing so even though it states that you will get a fine. I really cant wait for my lease to be up!

These apartments are nice. Staff is terrible is communication. Dumpsters are always overflowing with trash out to the street which makes it look getto. The shower of your neighbor is terrifying loud. Tenants dont pick up their pets mess when walking them to do there business. Always having problems with water lines and boilers

This place is the worse ever! Everytime it gets cold outside we have no hot water! We have to boil the water to take a bath! The place is full of roaches and they change you a pest control fee on your rent! Trash is always overflowing and it smells really bad when the wind blows! I rather live in the courts because at least there stuff works. Do not move here I know there has to be better options than this dump.
