I have been relocating from state to state moving from different apartments for the last 4 years. This has been one of the best Moving Experiences for me and my son! I was greeted by Kim in the office and she made Tacara feel like home in just a matter of seconds. Super fun spirit and great personality. A big Thank you to Sonia the Property manager for answering all of my questions over the phone while being miles away and being so patient with me. I know I’m in great Hands here. Already had 1 service request and it was addressed immediately!!! Highly recommend. By the way, the pictures don’t do the Community any justice! The pool and amenities are jaw dropping gorgeous! ✨
It’s great living here, it is peaceful, and comfortable. So far the amenities are great! I went to the business office for some hours to do homework, went to cook on the grill, and relaxed in front of the tv near the grills. I’ve only been here a month and can truly say I feel at home. Work orders are fast as well! There was an issue moving in, they came the very next day! 😌
Hi I am writing this review Honestly Me and my friends used to stay in this apartment for long period of time so my review is with experience The location is wonderful location and everything is convenience the apartment is wonderful but the people who working there are not friendly people I am suffering with them each time also my friend Just stay away from this apartment do not rent with them from the deepest place in my heart The people who work there are not friendly and always making causing trouble The neighbor tear my deposit And they charge me for a simple things From the end please do not move in to this apartment stay away stay away find you a better apartment in the same area at the end they charge me for cleaning before I rent I went to them three times to clean my apartment no one clean it I dont know why they charge me 408$
What a great place and great customer service. Kimberly is one of the best people that has worked in the office. She makes sure everyone that lives on property gets everything they need right away. She is very respectful and gives the best customer service. Great job on hiring her!!!

Miranda is beyond amazing!!!! She gave me her undivided attention from the moment I reached out to her. She made my transition very smooth and there wasnt a moment that she made me feel unwelcomed. She answered every email and returned every call when she was away from her desk. I absolutely could not have made the move without her! I’ve been living here for a couple months now and had one of my vehicles stolen off the parking lot. I’ve tried contacting management numerous times about the situation and trying to see if the cameras upfront caught something to report to the police. I keep getting ignored or given a runaround.
Outstanding service. Miranda gave me a virtual tour and this place was gorgeous and very spacious. She was very responsive always a complete professional and most importantly she was very considerate of my time. Apartment shopping is never something I like to do between finding the right rates, the community, distance from work and dealing with staff especially during this covid time. This was not the case at Tacara. Miranda was very friendly and helpful. Being upfront and knowledgeable when it came to all my questions over the phone. I just moved in and I love it! The landscape is beautiful and so is the pool. Great attention is paid to all the details! There’s a business center that’s available 24/7! Everything is near. Area is safe! The staff is pleasant and helpful! I look forward to enjoying my stay!
Just moved here, by far the best apartments I’ve lived in! The staff works with you for anything that you need. Also the apartment FEELS more spacious compared to other apartments with similar sq footage. 10/10 would recommend!

Ive been here for 2 1/2 years and Ive been very happy. From the office staff to the maintenance, theyve all been great. Youre not just an apartment number, they know you. I walk my dogs at weird hours and have always felt safe.True story: I accidentally left my car door open over night and it was not messed with. Nothing taken.....
Love this place ! All the staff is super kind & any and all our maintenance orders are taken care within 24hours. Quite plate to stay with excellent food options & shopping stores nearby. Love love love
Everyone in the office is extremely kind and helpful. Valerie is awesome and made the move-in process so easy. I’ve been here for a little over 3 months now and I love how much they do to help their residents feel at home. They have balcony holiday contest, pet of the month contest, and this super cute little turtle they hide around the apartments that you can return, if found, for a prize. They also have food truck Friday’s which I love! The trucks they bring are always so good. Maintenance is amazing and they get the job done quickly. It’s a quiet and friendly place to live with great management.
Do not live here! They do not care about their residents. You can park under the carports for free and still NO action happens for doing this. It’s a waste to even bother looking at these apartments. You call courtesy patrol officer and no one even answers. All they do is praise about how good they are and how they care about their residents when in reality they don’t care, they just tell you words to be happy. I CANNOT wait for July to move out of this DUMP!!!!
The complex is very clean and very well maintained management and the courtesy officer seem to be on top of things. It’s a beautiful place to live with a reassuring peace of mind.
I went on a tour with one of my really good friends who is moving in and I instantly fell in love! Our tour guide, Valerie, was so helpful and didn’t hesitate to answer any of our questions! She was very personable and honestly made me decide to submit my own application. After walking around the complex and looking at one of the units, I am sold. The balconies are very spacious and roomy, the rooms are nice and cozy, and the hardwood floors are an added plus. This tour has me excited to call this place my future home. If all of the staff is just as helpful and friendly as Valerie was I can’t wait to meet them all!
Today I had the pleasure of being greeted by Valerie. I have drove by these wonderful apartments for quite some time and finally got the chase to stop by. Not only was Valerie attentive but she was a delight. I am big on first impressions especially with apartments, and she made this a great experience. She made the process of looking for a apartment stress free and answered all my questions. Never have I had a leasing agent be so kind and passionate about her job. I can see a new lease in my future!
This place is great! I feel safe, there’s great communication between the front office and the maintenance staff is very helpful and prompt! Whenever there’s an issue (which isn’t often) I get immediate help. Also the fact I can just walk to target whenever I want, it’s that close. I definitely recommend this place!
It is currently 11:40 at night and our upstairs neighbor is stomping so loud that our ceiling vibrates. It’s been this way since we moved in on Sept 30, 2020. We’ve spoken with her on several occasions but she legit doesn’t care. We’ve also spoken to the office and they don’t care either, so we are left with either A. Moving to the 3rd floor or B. Moving out all together. We’ve lived in apartments before and it’s never been this bad. The walls/ceilings are so thin. I’m so miserable here.

I tagged along with a friend on her tour. First let me just state that the property is nice with some great amenities. However, it was Mrs. Janie who really made the day for us. She was so helpful and sweet, and well informed. She explained the prices, floor plans, and other charges ensuring we understood everything. Definitely, no surprises here. Mrs. Janie was very thorough with her explanation of the property and pricing, she ensured our questions, concerns, and needs were met. We were lucky to have her and we will definitely be sending all of our friends and family who need a place to go to here and request Mrs. Janie for all their showings.
I usually don’t write reviews on an experience but this one couldn’t go unnoticed. My wife and I have been looking into a new place to live in San Antonio, Texas. We have been on a couple of tours with a few properties around the area but this one stood out the most. First and foremost I want to give a 10/10 rating to leasing agent Valerie. Her professionalism, manors, and customer service has brought light to this very frustrating apartment hunt. With a smile on her face she was able to answer every question I needed to know. Lastly the property was amazing, very clean and in a great location. My favorite part is the amenities offered to the residents. We still have a few properties to tour but this one is so far number one!

UncooperativeMy contract with them is for a period of six monthsFor example, if the contract started for them, the 28th of December, the 28th of June shall expireMy problem I trusted in their words, and I did not notice the end of the rental contract, which is 20 June.When I realized the contract, I went to them and told them that my contract should expire 28 June, not 20 June. They told me that I signed the contract and I have to pay eight more days.I advise those who want to live with them to review himself, and if you had to live with them, do not trust their words.One day, I was late in paying the rent for one day, so they fined me about $ 150.Not helpful at all.
I have nothing but good things to say about Tacara Apartments. Valerie Rodriguez was so friendly and helpful. The apartments and the entire community is taken care of everything is always in good shape.I had an issue with the AC and was taken care of within the hour. I mentioned to one of the maintenance guys that one of the light posts was out and it was a bit dark at night to walk my dog and it was taken care of right away. Everyone is so friendly and doing their best. The only complaint I have and it has nothing to do with the great service of all the Tacara Employees is that the people here don’t clean after their pets. You see poop on some of the grass areas because people just don’t care! I have not use their doggie park because even though the complex provides doggie trash bags and a trash can, the owners don’t pick up!! I Have seen how hard the workers here spend the day cleaning the park to provide us a clean environment but some people just ruin it for everyone. But honestly I am very happy living here and I would recommend to everyone.

I’ve lived here about half a year now and it’s the best community i’ve ever lived in. the office and maintenance staff is second to none, the complex is always kept clean, work orders are done within a day, the staff is always having events for the residents it’s a great experience and i’ve never felt unsafe walking late at night. absolutely no complaints

Love at first sight. I knew Tacara was somewhere I wanted to live with my family. Close to everything and convenient to walk especially with COVID 19. I recommend talking with Valerie. She is so polite and on top of everything. I did what she asked. I went in on a Wednesday and needed to be in a place by Friday. Thankfully we moved in. I have not one bad thing to say about This place.

I have lived here for about a year and a half. This is a very nice complex and the have a nice pool and workout room. Valerie works in the front office and is always ready to help and calls me by my name. It is those little things that make me feel like this has been home.

I’m ending this place with a 3 star only because the biggest thing for me at any apartment complex is management. They had a really great girl working in there at one point, always communicated with me, always got back to me on time, never ignored my calls or emails, even if it was just the smallest issue, she responded. Super sweet. I told everyone to go to her and I had about three people move to this complex bc of the management.There was a new girl they hired and I’m not sure if she’s still there but was being very difficult with me towards the end. COVID robbed me, I had to apply for assistance, and couldn’t even say I was “making it.” I always kept communication with the complex, and giving them at least a month in advance of my situation. She made me feel like it wasn’t going to cut it, I would be evicted when I had proof for the lack of income regarding this pandemic. I informed the complex I would be late on payment and wouldn’t have a problem paying the late fees. I understood that in my contract if I’m not on time, it’s my responsibility lol to pay the fees which were $250 over my monthly rent. It isn’t fair that my virus was keeping me from being able to pay my bills, but again, I’m in a contract. I just didn’t appreciate the constant hounding or triple question for an issue I gave open communication on. Also the main person in charge gave me the okay on it, only for this woman to come in under her and say something different. Granted, I don’t think it was fully her fault because again I think that just as much as the apartment complex rarely communicates with us at times on important matters, they rarely communicate with each other bc that woman had no idea what was going on after I had communicated with the staff.She also bothered me about my pets which I gave an email regarding my new animals. I got a new puppy and then my mom ending up needing me to take on the family chihuahua. I got a notice back in May the first week I had them lol and then this woman calls me in SEPTEMBER trying to collect the $400, plus the other $350 which I already gave in the summer, again having proof. So that was just the issue with management. I tried leaving early bc I was fine paying two months rent, and an $867 fee. Then they said they needed it all with in 10days and plus a moving fee of $832.... ridiculous so I was stuck.Other than that, the place remained semi quite. My AC unit kept braking at one point and I was expecting a credit give that it broke in the month of July and I had to wait 5 days till someone came back from vacation! God, it was so freaking hot. I went to go stay with friends bc I cannot do the heat. I was mostly scared for my dogs. One is long haired so I was worried he’d have a heat stroke. It broke again recently and staff came right away. Maintenance overall was great. I had a wasp nest and this nice man came and took it down ASAP.The apartments are nice, I wouldn’t say “luxury” bc I live in “luxury” now but they are nice. The gym was wonderful, pool was relaxing, when Covid allowed us to use it, dog park is not a park. It’s three parking spaces covered in poop with a bench lol and I think for a while I was living above an AirBNB! There were always different crowds of people coming in and out of the complex which I didn’t feel safe with bc we don’t know who you are?! That’s why when you apply for an apartment, background checks are required! I got so upset with this one group bc they were SO LOUD . They were on the tiny balcony drinking from 10pm to 2 am and AT THE PEAK OF COVID! With apartments, you can hear anything and everything so that I’m okay with bc it’s what I signed up for however, we have a noise policy at 10 pm and during Covid, 6+ people had NO BUISNESS trying to live life to the fullest. I called the security officer three times but nothing was taken care off until 2am.....I hate that I’m nagging but I totally intended to write a bomb review about this place until that new individual came on. Just goes to show, all it takes is one slip up to tarnish everything

Just moved out from this apartment and I’m so glad we did! When you see reviews about their Thin walls and loud neighbors! Believe them, cause it’s all true! Management also doesn’t care about their tenants. Our car was just sitting in the parking lot when the towing company of this apartment (who’s about to tow another car) poked a hole on my passenger door. I asked the management about the details of this towing company so I can report it to my insurance but they acted like they didn’t know who they were. Which is not true, this is a gated community !! and they should have records of this towing company in the first place! I ended up paying $1,500 for the new door and the repaint of our BMW! It’s a shame that Tacara who consider itself a luxury apartment, treat their tenants like this. *Attached is the picture of the damaged car*

I live here for a year in the beginning everything was good until they change management they have the worst desrespecfull and rude employee except Ms Valerie. The most horrible experience living in a apartment complex. Horrible management, I smell weed in my apartment every day it’s comes from my neighbor and I let the manager know about it, but she didn’t do anything!!, mold in unit, no insulation, almost 3 months without a full night sleep!, because there is a sports cars meeting in the area. My advise... If you need a real home or if you have family DO NOT MOVE HERE. We lived there a year just because of the lease. There is a lot of cockroach coming at night in my apartment I used everything to stop them but I couldn’t they are increasing everyday. And do not expect your deposit back, instead you will need to pay no matter how clean your apt is.
The staff at Tacara are very professional, super funny, and down to earth! Ive lived here for 3 years and I wouldnt want to live any where else. Kudos to the maintenance staff. The ladies in the office...Jennifer, Valerie, Destinee, and Anna always make you feel right at home. Go team Go!

The management at this apartment complex are some of the rudest people I’ve ever encountered and do not care to help you when it comes to troubles, they are OK until you sign the lease then they stop caring. The place was infested with cockroaches whenever I first moved in and they did not give me a heads up simply sent pest control whenever I brought up the problem and that did little, even now I am paying for pest control and they haven’t came in six months probably. If you value your quality of life and want a nice apartment stay away from Tacara at Westover Hills Apartments because I dread coming to my apartment every day. That’s all.

I called requesting the requirements for a clients income situation due to covid/unemployment, asked about acceptable proof, etc. and made an appt to tour the complex. we were given partial requirements only and within 10 hours of my client applying and paying both the admin and application fees ($150) they called with a final requirement, we were not made aware of, immediately disqualifying her. they were both non-refundable, and given we had our appointment in office - they had the opportunity to make her and I aware of that final requirement before completing the application and paying. Not recommended.

Im very disappointment, I applied seeing if I could qualify to renting an apt there. When navigating through the website and applying, no where did I see that the ADM fee was not refundable. I lost out of $150 which is very high, I can understand the application being NON-refundable out of the $150, BUT FOR THE APARTMENT MANAGEMENT TO KEEP ALL OF MY MONEY, THAT REALLY HURTS.

I have been living here for about 3 months. There is a few reasons I am giving this 3 stars. Destiny is awesome! Very nice and patient young lady. I love the fact that everything is in walking distance. The apartment is homieThe negative experience that I have so far, is that they continue to put people that have little kids above my apt to live. Constant running. Secondly to get into the apt is a constant battle. The fob do not work most of the times. If I get visitors, I have to press the #9 about 4 or 5 times before the gate open. I wouldnt recommend this place. Counting down the months for my lease to end.
I initially gave the apartments 4 stars. Downgrading to 2 at this point. I am constantly woken up by the 15 or so kids whose parents think it’s appropriate to allow there children to play outside from about 9 pm to 2 am almost every night. If you move in here, avoid the left side of the complex at all costs. This is getting ridiculous.
I had such a pleasant experience visiting Tacara, Valerie was such a tremendous help and I will definitely be telling all my friends about thia place!
The place is good and Ive been living here for about 2 years and I like it but heres my review.1.My rent in the beging for a 2 bedroom was 1,200 but now since a new owner bought the place they raised my bill to 1,400 which is a big change.2.You have to pay for trash fee for a guy to pick it up but people just throw the trash on the ground and the guy will never pick it up also the trash guy that walks around doesnt even pick up a lot of trash.3The staff just want your money4.You have to pay fee for pest control and they havent been coming for the past 6 months. My honest review and you should check out the other apartments down the road.
I lived there for a couple years but when trying to leave, the apartments did not want to honor the Military Clause as it was written, doing research I found that this was a trend with Tacara.Had I done proper research prior to moving in, I would have never moved there. I advise military personnel refrain from moving in as it will be hard to trust office staff/management.
Changing my review. 1st impression on the 1st day was really bad experience 2nd day was awesome. We give credit to Tanya for a welcoming smile and a good sense of humor. She gave us a quick tour of the facilities and then showed us a model of the floor plan we would be renting. She did a great job of answering all of our questions and we left with Tacara as our top choice after seeing several other properties. Thanks Tanya!!
Worst first experience ever . I had a scheduled appointment today for a tour of the apartments at 2pm showed up, and the leasing building had a sign that said closed ! Tried calling and contacting the apartments got no response, only an automated machine . Very disappointed, super unprofessional. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment if I’m not going to get seen . Waited 30+ minutes for nothing .
Ive been here for about 6 months as of time of writing this. I think these apparent are clean, modern, safe, and decent priced .So far I havent had any major issues.Update: Sept 2016I had to do an update as Ive been here a year, and I feel like the quality/vibe has gone down. Im not sure what happened; quality of tenants, policy changes, management, road construction or what. The original appeal of the apartments was, they were clean, modern, safe and close to shopping and business. Now theres always trash outside peoples apartments and steps, even though we pay a VIP trash fee; I end up taking my own trash out, since there seems no set pickup schedule. The pool area gets chained up; the club area which once seemed a nice chill area is packed with people (Im going to assume not all tenets) ; parking went from always having a spot close to apartment, to parking in the back. And last complaint, not necessarily the complex fault, but the local construction is ridiculous. Trying to get in and out onto 151 without getting in a car wreck is frustrating. Personally my next living area will be even further on the outskirts of the city .

Most of the staff is welcoming and nice. Service requests get answered quickly. As long as you dont mind tenants constantly double parking, paper thin ceilings with loud neighbors, or irresponsible pet owners, then its a nice place.

Do not move here. There is a party going on every night. Cannot sleep until 2 a.m. management are nice until you signed the lease. After that they are completely different. Make sure you do a walk through moving in and moving out so they dont charhe you crazy amount of prices.
If you plan on moving out make sure you tell them 3 months a head of time or else you will have to extend your lease for 3 months and your rent will increase by $200 also once you are fully moved out and the keys are turned, be ready for a f**king bill because their f**ked up “VIP” trash and pest control and water are all 6 weeks behind. So you will be paying for that after you move out. Find somewhere else people!
Lived here for almost two years. It was wonderful at first with very few complaints - the rent was lower, there were more events and parties for the community, and if you had a complaint or any issue they were very quick to respond.Inside the apartment,we were the first tenant to move into the apartment right after it was built, but there are holes in the ceiling, bugs and crickets somehow get into the lights, the floors werent placed right, paint in areas that shouldnt have paint and some scratches left by the builders.We have gotten some problems fixed like the floors and some paint areas, but most of it we let slide because we were tired of calling maintenance to come to the apartment. They dirty up the floors with their shoes.Right after this place got bought by a new companyThey have tried to raise up the rent to a ridiculous price saying its because of some system. It had infuriated my husband that eventually they allowed the same rate we were currently paying.Also a friend of mine had tried to move here a week ago but after he had paid the nonrefundable deposit, a few minuets later they claim the system changed and his rent will be a lot higher then was promised. In the end my friend is now looking to rent at a different location.The management staff are very nice, but its hard to trust them.It also seems they changed some rules that used to be with the other company making this place not as elegant as it used to be.Its also true that trash bags are sitting in the hallways. Were suppose to have a black trash can but it seems that some neighbors may have lost theirs. Havent had any issues with our trash being skipped like others though.Also there are less events in the community besides holiday parties.
I really enjoy and appreciate the community events every month, it makes living in here a little bit more special and the attention we get is superb. The complex and the apartments are super nice as well.
My reasons for this rating are too numerous. Some of my issues may not bother other people, since they are purely based upon MY experiences living here for the past year. I moved here, thinking I would love it. And I did, at first. It all seemed so perfect, until it wasn’t. Excellent so far I love it! Everything about these apartments are fantastic! I wish I wouldve moved into these apartments sooner. The amenities are fun and the gym is always clean.
Been living here for about six months, everything has been great so far.Community is great, the staff is great, the complex is great.9/10 would recommend.Some times there are minor miscommunications, nothing grave.
When we first moved in it was great. Then the place got bought out by another company right when we were about to move a year later. Went down hill from there... Havent lived there since end of May 2015 and my phone number is still programmed into the call box...EDIT FEBRUARY 2, 2016Still receiving phone calls from the gate. Also my wife and I just got married in October and a couple gifts were accidentally delivered there. The new tenants kept the gifts but told the office that they never received it yet it clearly shows it... If I could give the place NO STARS I would!!
So far everything seems great! The staff is very nice, I have been working with Cheyann Saenz and she is super nice and extremely helpful. Cant wait to move in!!

Spoke with a representative named Sonia on the phone, she was very rude and was not helpful at all . She was in a hurry to get me off the phone and seemed really rushed, even if you have a bad day, you should not be rude . I am not coming back to these apartments and neither should you .
Expensive apartments with Worst maintenance. We moved into this apartments thinking that its luxury and newly built but its not a good experience so far.Trash guy does not pickup trash even on the days he supposed to. We have to keep piling up our trash in front of our houses. We complained many times but leasing office staff just say trash guy is supposed to come 5 days a week but they dont realize the fact that he is not coming on the days he is supposed to. We pay around 30 bucks every month for trash.No Trash cans in the community to throw trash ourselves except 2 recycle bins covering over 300 apartments.Lot of flies, ants, bugs etc. Pest control can be provided based on request but that spray is like water with no affect.No key entry but its only 2 months and we already had to get our door battery replaced. They have to reprogram all the controls every time they change battery. And the reprogram does not work properly to open some gates.Sinks leak everywhere. Its only 3 months since we moved in and we already complained about few things many times.
Love the location, the amenities are also pretty cool, the kids love the pool! I also like the fact they do different events usually each month.

I am on the fence at this point. My apartment was supposed to be ready on the 3rd of the month. I had movers ready to go and I had put my things in storage for 2 weeks and was staying in a hotel for the few days since I had to move on the 30th per my previous lease. I get a call on the 30th saying it wouldnt be ready until the 6th. Now I have to pay extra days in the hotel and 200 extra dollars for storage fees. The customer service is not that impressive compared to what Im paying in rent. Only apologizes, no compensation for my inconvenience.
Worst management ever, I have been there for 7 months its noisy and you will not sleep well and they try to charge you for any reason
