Amazing Community amazing staff they have I honestly feel so welcomed here . Any complain any damages any problems they get it fixed that same day or latest in a day ! Would love to share my whole experience with you all but I only do have 4 months living here & I enjoy it to the fullest ! Love how Sylvia the asst manager is always on top of everything & is so nice, attentive, quick & amazing totally recommend this apartments great area as well super safe I want to add more because I feel like we should really take Time to appreciate the whole new staff they’ve been up to date with everything and have fixed the whole dilema we had when the winter storm hit I absolutely love how they will advise any changes or any repairs we had coming most importantly even the workers they hired were so genuine and nice and attentive to there work the only thing missing is a kids area would defiantly love that to be able to meet more mommy’s around & have the kids enjoy there time
I would not recommend these apartments at all. I am being forced to stay and pay an extra month because the email I was given was incorrect and they where unable to recieve my non renewal letter on time. And last month I was one day late... my rent is usually $1,650.. for one day it jumped to $1,800. And when the winter storm hit I was never updated on repair or when my apartment would have water on nor where we being kept up to date on community wall. So I went two weeks staying else where until I called to be told ALL apartments had been repaired and have water and power on. I come home and my apartment is not repaired and I had no water. Still had to wait around without water with three small children. Then they forget again about my unit and never fix my washing machine or dryer and they finally do about a month after I’ve been back and they do a very sloppy job if I may add. The prior office staff was very rude and acted as if they where superior and so does the new staff. And good luck getting them on the phone or getting a call back. Beware. And they never asked these neighbors too keep up and clean up their yard area so I’ve avoided my patio because it is an eyesore and this is the “repaired” wall in my laundry closet.
We had been searching for an apartment for several days with no luck and majorly disappointed in the staff at the nearby places we had previously visited. We walked into Verandas not expecting anything different but thankfully Bianca was so nice and welcoming. First impressions matter! She made Verandas feel like home before we even toured the place. And so we have been here for nearly a month and really enjoying it so far.If you need help getting into a clean and family friendly apartment Bianca is your girl. I promise youll love her and youll love everything about Verandas.PS your kids will love the snacks in the office!
Honestly the apartment was not that bad, it was decent and not run down. The reason I gave them 2 starts was because within the year I was here the management changed about 4 times and every-time they got worse. Very un organized and one person would say “things” would get done and it never got passed down. Management became very unprofessional at one point that I figured out how to get gnats out of my apt without their help. Maintenance was so nice and sweet, other than that I would not recommend.
My daughter just moved in and I cannot thank Bianca enough for putting up with all of our questions! She really did make it so easy and the apartment is beautiful. Thank you for making my babys first rental experience amazing!!
We have lived here two years and love it! The office staff has changed and it has made communication so much easier! Bianca is my favorite🤗
I have lived here nearly a year and for the most part was good. The apartments are nice, community is good, and up until recently the management was good. There in lies the issue. This new office management is new. There is no communication between the office and residents. There’s no communication between the office personnel. You get told one thing from one person and then something completely different from the other and they have no idea. I waited a month for them to fix and repair the water damage from the winter storm and I keep getting the run around.*Edit* The corporate office called me and we worked things out so I changed my star rating. If the office can work on communication and being more transparent with residents I will up this more. They are new so hopefully it will improve. I really do like the apartments and community as a whole.

I have lived in many, many apartments over the past years and I just wanted to give a special THANK YOU to the Verandas at Alamo Ranch team. I just moved in and WOW, the staff truly is amazing! Mark is such a joy to work with, he listened to my home needs & got me into exactly what I wanted. Adrianna was so patient and helpful when she helped me get my CPS switched over and helped me set up my online resident portal. And Michelle was amazing! She offered me such an amazing move in special that I just couldnt pass up! I truly LOVE my new home & am so happy I came here!
I want to take time to do a review on Vernadas at Alamo Ranch, I must say Im so happy my family and I called this place home. I took a tour with Mark and fell in love immediately!! The application process was simple. I met the manager Michelle and she was able to offer a free garage for one month! My family felt so welcomed by the entire team. Mark, Adrianna and Michelle thank you so much for making my move easy. I recommend you come by and lease with this beautiful property. Pool, gym, bark park and so much more!!
If I could give a 10 star to these Verandas apartments I would. Highly recommend these apartments. I helped my daughter move into those apartments. I helped her since day one through all the process. When we went to meet with the manager named Sylvia Gonzales and her assistant named Bianca Rodriguez, omg they are such wonderful ladies. They treated us as if we were family or as if we knew each other from before. As soon as we walked into the office they greeted us with a huge smile on their faces and right away helped us with everything. They told us exactly what we needed and right away offered us something to drink and snacks. We had my grandson with us and omg they spoiled him too. We felt very comfortable being with them. They answered all the questions we had and gave us as much information as they could about the process and paperwork we needed. Well, thanks to their work and help, my daughter got her apartment approved right away. They kept in contact with my daughter throughout the process to let her know what she needed and when everything was finished. My daughter is now living in these apartments and is loving it. Thanks to Mrs. Sylvia and Mrs. Bianca of course. We’ve gone to visit my daughter and it’s so quiet and peaceful there. Super clean and beautiful apartments. Everyone is so kind and especially the staff. The other day I was visiting my daughter and took my grandson with me to the office because my daughter needed a trash can and as soon as I walked in Mrs. Bianca was there and took care of me and my grandson. I told her what I needed for my daughter and as soon as I told her my daughters name she knew who I was talking about. Right away she gave me the trash can and before we left she offers us snacks and drinks. We feel so welcomed at these apartments. They treated me so well as if I live there. A big Thank you to these wonderful ladies … i highly recommend these apartments to anyone and everyone. So peaceful and quiet, great environment and awesome staff. Keep up the good work ladies.
Outside property is nice looking. However, inside the apartment was average. When our daughter and her roommate first moved in the apartment was not fully cleaned.The carpets In the bedrooms were absolutely disgusting. There were certain things in the apartment that were not fixed correctly and damaged, before they moved in. And never got fixed. I feel like these apartments took advantage of two young girls that are in the military and this was their first time getting an apartment.Also, make sure you pay attention to the extra fees they charge for cleaning when you move out. They said that they charge the fees to everybody it does not matter The condition you leave your apartment in when you move. Don’t waste your time cleaning it very well they will still charge an extra cleaning fee. Worst of all the office staff was very unprofessional and confrontational. Best to look elsewhere.
I’v been living at verandas for about a year and I love my apartment, it’s just the right size for my dog and I. The pool is outstanding and is the perfect relaxation spot. The view from my balcony is amazing! My dog enjoys the open area and the doggy wash as well. I enjoy living here so I would definitely recommend.
Love living here at Verandas, my apartment is spacious and has plenty of storage space. The front office staff always gets back to me quickly and professionally. Mark has been very helpful through out my move in, he’s gone out of his way to make sure I was comfortable in my new home
Although I havent moved in yet, I have to stop and say how impressed I am with the staff at Verandas. There was a small hiccup with my application and Mark, Adrianna, and Michelle all worked with me to get things set right, right away. Im so glad I found Verandas and cant wait to move in!

I moved in July 2019. I renewed my lease because I’ve been VERY satisfied with everything they’ve helped me with. They’re very understanding and helpful and Mark is soooo freaking hilarious! He’s definitely been a joy every time I’ve talked to him! Thank you so much for all you do and all you will do!
Wonderful clean property, lots of amenities! I’ve only been here 4 months and have quarantined here. Melissa and staff are kind and helpful, resolved a few of my concerns very quickly. Maintenance guys are friendly, always working to make sure everything is taken care of. I love the Valet Trash service, always on time doing a great job. Package retrieval in lockboxes is awesome!I am glad to have friendly neighbors, especially during the trying times we’ve had in the last few months. A very nice place to call home.
If I could only use 1 word to describe Verandas at Alamo Ranch it would be Outstanding! The Warm, helpful, friendly, staff, has created a culture here that mirrors family. Excellent place to live!
Update: 4/3/2017~Overall, Ive enjoyed living here at Verandas for the last year, lots of good people and friends made, but I wish the Management would do more and not just give lip service for issues.Pros:~upgrades were very nice. New countertops in kitchen, new/improved blinds throughout, bathroom accessories updated as well.Cons:~String of vandalized vehicles. Wheels stolen and vehicles on blocks. Tires slashed. No courtesy patrols or onsite security. Management does not reside in Verandas at Alamo Ranch.~No way to distinguish from residents vehicles or people that do not live here. Verandas management no longer believes in windshield stickers.~Gates not functioning, stuck in the open position. Vehicles drive 20+ mph inside the community, disregarding stop signs and basic rules of the road. Management states speed bumps are not in the budget.~Trash pickup is not consistent, half the time its not picked up. Residents leave trash bags outside apartment and not in issued trash can. No recycling option, all goes to landfill.~Community rules are not enforced: Visitors and non-residents at the pool constantly. Huge amounts of trash left there all weekend Irresponsible residents do not pick up after their pets, poop all over.~Front office staff almost always seems inconvenienced when residents come to the office for questions and/or paying rent.~Really frustrating to have seen new residents get 1-2 months free rent, plus rent lowered for the same apartment I live in.___________________1/10/2017: Been living here for a 10 months now and its not horrible but its definitely not great.Pros:-apartment is nice; decent sized and modern; W&D are included-gym is open 24/7Cons:-dog poo all over grass, cmon at least take your dog to the dog park and pick it up.
I love living here at the verandas at Alamo ranch. Anytime I have a problem, they get right on it. Very friendly staff.. They have great restrictions to keep the apartment complex looking nice. I highly recommend if you are looking for a nice, safe and outstanding staff.

Do not rent here. Their complex is beautiful, in a nice area of Alamo Ranch, I did not have many issues while I was living there in reference to tenants or amenities, however their office staff was unprofessional in how they handled fees after moving out of the complex. My suggestion for anyone who is interested in renting here is to go somewhere else. If you have no other choice make sure you receive copies of all documents sent to their office staff because they have a high turnover rate and conveniently lose access to said documents that affect your overall bill.
We just moved in January 2020 and the staff has been nothing but great to us with anything we need or ask of. We love the space for our family of 5. & we love that we get to spend our time at the pool this summer!
I decided to move into the Verandas about a year ago after looking at all the other available apartment complexes in the area. The Verandas apartments are attractive, the staff have been attentive whenever I’ve needed anything, and the cost is very reasonable. Highly recommend!
The absolute WORST!!!! We unfortunately had our lease for 15 months and it was the worst decision we have made. I don’t usually care of how rude the leasing office staff is but it did matter and I’ll tell you that in a bit. Issues here-1. If someone lives below you, they’ll always have problems with you walking or talking.2. If you have kids and pets above you then I assure you that you aren’t sleeping until they sleep.3. Good luck dealing with the leasing office staff. They are TERRIBLE!!!!! You’ll receive all sorts of emails that will make you feel like you are some college student living in a dorm.If you have a problem and you try reaching out- They reach a point where they block your number so none of your calls are answered. I proved this for myself when I called from my friends phone and the lady answered after after having tried from my phone for almost 15 times. That was really humiliating. I mean if you don’t intend to help, then find a different job.4. We lived there for 15 months and paid our rent on time and at times even before the 1st of every month. We gave our notice on time like any sane person would. We also scheduled a walk with MELISSA before we left.- in next one month we received a call from the debt collector and they said we haven’t paid $150 to VERANDAS. I mean what was this.. and MR OWNER- We never received any letter from the leasing office or a move out statement which would give us a breakup of what we were being charged for. We provided all our details of where we are moving and everything that was required.I mean who would not want to pay $150 dollars after having paid 1000s of dollars in rent and why can’t the leasing office people do their jobs and tell us what we owe rather than asking the debt collector to speak with us. I feel extremely offended and cheated. It was emotionally disturbing and we came home from work late and decided to just pay off the money without even knowing what were we being charged for.So fellas!!!! You’ve been warned. You never know what you’ll be surprised with. And you might not like the surprise in this case.The maintenance guys are really kind and helpful. I am sorry but my overall experience wasn’t good at all.

Been living here for just a few months and I won’t be moving until work moves me out of San Antonio! The parties and events are such a great way to meet awesome people and truly get to know the team!
My pup and I LOVE the dog park!! He gets a chance to run free and I get to see him enjoy being outside. I am keeping my eye out to transfer to one of the neat apartments with a YARD!! Will definitely be renewing and upgrading once I find that one! Love my apartment and so does my little Panda!

This complex is not safe. And management does not care. My younger sister’s car was STOLEN from inside this apartment complex in November. Her boyfriend had his car ransacked and items taken away. This is a gated community and complex with cameras. We had asked if the staff could help us by seeing when her car was driven out just to give us a time stamp, and they refused without a warrant. And frankly they had an attitude about this and seemed they couldn’t be bothered.An apartment community should be dedicated to helping their residents during times like these. Apparently not to long ago before that there was another vehicle stolen from this complex.Although situations like this are not directly caused by the complex. We did expect them to be more understanding and willing to help in this sort of situation. Especially if it happens to residents.After looking at some past reviews. It seems this has been an issue a handful of times in the past where management refused to help residents by offering footage available. This is absolutely outraging. It is the management and complexes job to help offer a secure and safe living environment. By neglecting to help offer camera footage that could possibly help in finding the parties responsible for Grand Theft Auto, they are letting this continue and possible happen again. Which it has and is. I’m sorry, but this is not okay. I don’t understand the reasoning for not sharing this information outside of management just being neglectful.

I am beyond satisfied with everything from community event, property maintenance, work order processing and follow through, and most importantly the office staff. I Love love love them all. The apartment community is a great place for my elderly mother. I visit her twice a week and the community is always friendly and clean.She loves it there and I’m grateful for the ladies that take good care of her. The maintenance team always fix her things promptly. I would recommend this place 100%. I am very surprised with a few of the negative remarks about the management. They communicate with their residents and their resident events are always full of happy people. I did want to take the time to write a review for the staff since they really do a great job making the community a happy one for everyone.
I have been living here for the past year and really enjoy it. The staff is amazing! They have always done everything their power to help out their residents. Yes, people have complaints but dont do anything about it. It is apartment living and some people suck but I have no complaints of my neighbors or the staff. I recommend living here to anyone that is interested.

Im going on 15 months living here and honestly, these are the best apartments that I have lived in. The other tenants are great, so noise isnt an issue. I work late sometimes to 11 at night so parking does get a little filled, but there are covered parking available which I love. Maintenance is super nice. He fixes what I need within a couple days and fixes it right the first time. The front office are sweet and always having events in the clubhouse for residents. If I have any questions they addresses it right away. I dont have any complaints about these apartments.
This apartment community is in a very nice area of San Antonio, amenities are nice and very well kept up with. The apartments are nice, really wish the wood flooring wasn’t here because it makes walking so loud for anyone. My only complaint would be not being able to opt out of services like cable/wif. I spend almost 90-100 dollars for that service and my WiFi isn’t even fast enough for what I need so i had to purchase a separate WiFi to use which is an additional 50 per month to spectrum.
I have not moved in yet, but so far Melissa took care of everything I needed and cant wait to move in. She has been wonderful in taking care of me and welcoming me to the new community during my transition to Texas. Cant wait to meet everybody ... very soon. Thank you for everything.
Love this place so much!!! Interiors are so nice for the price and I’m so happy I chose this place to live!! My kids love it and we couldn’t be happier when we are HOME!!
I love the easy access to HEB and target. It is clean and the grounds are kept nice. They have a technology package which is okay but I wish we could get our own internet/cable option instead of spectrum without still paying the price included with rent. I moved in 04/01 and have already had spectrum come out 2x because the internet goes down. I love the pool area and the fact we have gate clickers to enter the apartment complex. Walls are kinda thin, when you try to sleep, I hear kids crying and it’s hella annoying. Upstairs neighbors don’t care when they stomp around at all hours but it’s mainly when people try to sleep. So hearing foot stomps and babies crying at midnight and early morning is annoying.
I love the staff and the gatherings we used to have with all the residents! Taquito tuesday was my fav!! Can’t wait for everything to go back to normal and meet the new staff and residents 👌...
!!AVOID RENTING HERE!! I lived here for 2 dreadful years and so glad I was able to finally move out. I love the area, and apartments are decent, but I have to give this the lowest rating due to such unbelievably HORRIBLE staff!! With the exception of the maintenance guy who was great all around, the in office staff were one of the worst I’ve ever dealt with. They go out of their way to be very rude, they make bothered facial expressions and moans when you have multiple questions. I hated having questions or concerns because I didn’t want to deal with those women. I am not alone in how I feel about them, as multiple tenants I got to know who also have moved and some who still unfortunately live there, share the same way towards the staff.
Manager called to explain situation (if you saw my original post) which I really appreciate. I will update this review as my time here goes on.
Now that I have been living in my apartment for a several month now, I can safely say, THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO CALL HOME! I really enjoy the area and honestly would not change a thing. I need to also say THANK YOU to the staff, especially Melissa! Truly appreciate all you do!
I’ve been a resident since the community opened and I have been through some management changes. I love the new upgrades too, they added granite to my kitchen .They definitely now have a great strong and most nicest office and maintenance staff. The ladies in the office are firm with the tenants that don’t follow the rules. I like that they care anlut having a beautiful property. We see them enforcing the rules. I do enjoy that now they host more socials for us to join. I am now really liking the food trucks that they bring in for us . The maintenance team are always working hard around here and always remember you and your dogs name.
The management and maintenance team on site are very friendly and responsive. Love living close to shopping and dining, and there is easy access to the highways.
DO NOT RENT HERE! The price you pay a month isnt worth it for these cheap apartments that are falling apart. Foundation is cracking and the buildings are shifting. Noise is a big issue in this complex and nothing is being done about it. Other tenants are fighting with each other in the breezeways and the parking lot. Cops are always being called to the complex. The breezeways and the grounds are dirty. The front gates are always open at night. Cars are always being broken into. People are parking illegally and the office isnt doing anything about it. Dogs are not on leashes and are attacking other residents. The management staff is horrible and lazy with the exception of the assistant manager. My husband loves talking to the assistant manager because she is so sweet and actually gives a damn about her residents. The manager of the complex doesnt know how to run or keep up with the complex. Shes running it down to the ground. May I add, if you start complaining, she turns it around on you. The old staff was better. They know about situations but dont handle them. Maintenance takes forever to complete a request and when completing request they are very rude to you and think they know everything. The amenities suck with the exception of the pool. Dog park is small and dirty. This area is highly recommend but I DO NOT recommend these apartments.
I was there for 6 months and I had a nice stay. The staff were responsive, polite and prompt. The only thing that I didnt favor was the traffic but thats all over San Antonio. The Apartment was pretty clean and quiet, which is pretty tough in apartment living. I would recommend this location.

Ive been living here for about 5 months I love the apartment I am renting with a backyard and lovely open floor plan, I wish there were more natural lighting other then in the bedrooms but its very easy to maintain, my only complaints would be that I feel like management does not take me serious as a renter because of my young age(19). Ive complained and asked for information about trash pick up and pest control and lease information with no replies most of the times and if you complain about noisy neighbors forget it.I had a hard time with getting my ESA (emotional support animal) in the apartments with me which created a wedge between me and staff which was corrected after making sure everything met to my needs.
Overall nice property. Nothing spectacular but is overall a nice community. People drive like idiots and are in desperate need of speed bumps. Also hardly any security cameras other than at the gate and mailroom. Nice pool, gym and lobby. Dog park needs a lot of work. Several potholes need filling in and grass has a lot of fire ants. Landscapers are horrible. They always have excuses for not pulling the weeds. Called corporate and they basically blew me off about the weeds. They said we are aware of the issues and we are currently trying to resolve the issue 6 months later.... nothing is done. Mulch was replaced but the rain washed it out. Models all have fresh mulch and no weeds but look closely at the other buildings. Maintenance guys are great. Those guys bust their ass to keep up but management doesnt help them out. Only 2 guys for a whole complex. A bit ridiculous if you ask me. Concrete needs power washing from all the trash stains. Gate works most of the time. DOG POOP EVERYWHERE. Nobody picks up after their pet. Overall Id say the apartments inside are nice and clean. No complaints other than VERY thin walls. You hear everything. Bang for buck??? Eh debatable.
Dont leave in this community, the management is very poor, specially the MANAGER, the hallway is always dirty, you can hear NOISE all the time, In summer the police have to came because the people in the pool stay very late at night with the music very loud. One morning I woke up and my car and another they tried to steal them and they dont do anything, just only said, manager words we saw the person on the camera but we cant so anything. This is NOT the place that you would NEVER live with kids. The Valet Trash is horrible they change every time from company to another. They put a combo of WIFI and cable that always have problem with the signal, on the portal you can see all the people complaining about this. Pest Control guy is a mess. They dont have EMPATHY with anyone. For that reason I decided NOT renew my contract. They charge you for things that in another place you dont have to pay. On your renewal, even if you dont want to stay, they dont give you options.
We have been here 4 months and cannot say enough great things aboutthis place and management. Love our apartment. Any issues we have had have been promptly and professionally addressed. Everyone in the office is always helpful. Maintenance guys have taken care of any problem immediately. Coffee area has always been clean.
I wanted to take the time out to give my apartment staff a shout out. So many people like to go straight to give horrible reviews when something upsets them. I wanted to let everyone know how the staff and especially the maintenance team go above and beyond . My work orders are always completed the Same if not next day. My last apartment place I lived took forever for something to be repaired. I also had to call the office to remind them . This office, everyone looks like they are working together. I love the new shipt membership they gave me for a whole year when I leased my apartment. I live on the first floor but still take advantage of my groceries being delivered for free. Love the socials and food trucks. They are also giving away free stuff all the time on Facebook. Great place so far!

We have had the pleasure of living here for over a year. As far as the actual apartments, we love the modern features, such as the beautiful wooden floors, cabinets, and countertops. The pool is spacious and beautiful. We really enjoyed the old management because they were friendly, efficient, and really listened to our concerns. With the new management, the staff is nice and helpful, but they really have not addressed a lot of the residents concerns. There is dog waste not only all over the dog park, but all over the grass surrounding the apartment buildings. This is very frustrating to dog owners who consistently pick up their pets waste. We as well as other residents have addressed this to new management, yet little to no action has been taken. When the new management arrived, we were also told that the dog park was getting several new renovations, such as an agility station and covered benches for pet owners to sit under on hot days. None of this has been done, and on top of that, the dog bathing station has been broken for months. Unattended children are constantly in the dog park trying to play with other peoples dogs, which is a HUGE safety concern. We love the gym, however, unattended children also come in their occasionally. It would not be a problem if they were coming to properly use the equipment, but they horseplay with the equipment and are loud. Again, the new management is nice, but I think they really need to listen to residents concerns in more depth.
Verandas is top notch and I thoroughly enjoy living here. The apartment finishes really have you living in luxury. Melissa helped me with my lease renewal and showed genuine interest in me remaining a resident. Cheryl and Becca are always very helpful when I need assistance with anything. Between the granite countertops, FREE Shipt membership to get my groceries delivered and all the food trucks and resident events, how could I not love it here?! I can’t forget the Maintenance crew either. Joe, Ray and AA Ron are always ready to help and are very knowledgeable and courteous when I have needed their assistance. I am extremely happy to be living here!

Very clean and quiet residence. Did not have any issues during my stay. Front office staff and maintenance crew are wonderful to deal with. Would definitely recommend this apts complex to friends and family.
Ive been living here for almost 2 months. Our apartment is beautiful and spacious as well as in a convenient location for shopping and entertainment. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist with your needs. They go above and beyond to assure that your stay here is pleasant. I highly recommend Vantage at Alamo Ranch.
Usually Im not the type to write reviews about apartments, especially negative ones, since I understand that it is hard to address every single issue at such a large apartment complex, but this experience with the Verandas at Alamo Ranch has left me beyond perplexed. After moving out, we were contacted by debt collector for the amounts of $1,158.00. Now, I made sure that before we moved out, we contacted the leasing office to notify a two month notice prior the ending of our lease. We had cleaned out our apartment and left it in a clean condition, as you do, before turning in our keys. My boyfriend and I have lived and rented many apartments before and never had we received a billing charged of $1,158.00, and what is more infuriating is that the Verandas has never once contacted us about such charged. On top of that, the Verandas also charged us twice for pest control, twice for trash valet, and water sewer as well. After receiving a letter and calls from the debt collector, I’ve tried countless time to get in contact with the leasing office, however they refused to speak to me and would not provide any explanation in regarding to the charges that I was billed for. This whole situation has rendered me to a point of mental exhaustion and copious amount of stress in my daily life and financially as well. It is bewildering that the Verandas is charging me such a high amount but failed to provide any legitimate explanation to these charges. In all fairness, I just would like to understand what I am being billed for and what it is that Im being billed for.
Beautiful living space with people to match the atmosphere. Staff was very helpful and made it a quick but enjoyable process 👍
They were able to get rid of Grasshoppers or Ants DeleteThe apartments recently got new owners and they are so helpful, and nice. When they were brought in they redid the front entrance and its look good. they were able to get rid of Grasshoppers or Ants and they are willing to work with you and are doing there best to fix the issues from the old owners

The office manager Rebecca and staff is great, but the assistant manager Melissa is rude. Horrible customer service and always rude over the phone. Was even rude to my daughter at the Easter event. The previous assistant manager was awesome, as well as Emily. Overall the complex is safe to live in. The walls are super thin to the point you can hear other residents be intimate or fighting. Cracks on all the walls, have to pay for cable and internet service (spectrum) that never works (quite frustrating when you work from home) Overall we were expecting to love it here but unfortunately it wasn’t as enjoyable as we hoped it would be.
This is a beautiful property and staff is always polite and helpful. Great place to live.
The managers at the apartments are very unprofessional Very rude all the time. They do not know to speak to people professional especially the one that worked on 1/ 26/2018. Not willing to work with a tenant that has had issues of a very abusive relationship. Seems to me the managers take out their personal issues out on the tenants. Saying she is going to evict at tenant based on one letter not three... wrongfully eviction... Do not rent
For being such beautiful apartments they sure have the worst staff. So rude. Like no personalities. I see all the reviews thank god I changed my mind.
Unfortunately my experiences with the Verandas at Alamo Ranch have been all unpleasant when dealing with the maintenance of this apt. complex. I understand that the Alamo Ranch Area is densely populated. That however does not give you the right to neglect tenants needs and requests due to high volumes of maintenance calls. It would be more professional and courteous if you could let your tenants know when you will not be making scheduled appointments as we also have lives, jobs, and scheduled maintenances to tend too. Rather then too leave your tenants waiting all day like idiots.
Lived here for almost 2 years. Would not recommend it. Its not the worse place but its definitely not the best.The buildings have alot of problems that the staff dont bother trying to take care of. And with the local high school right down the street, expect loud partying by the pool at night.
DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! I’m not quite sure why there’s been a spur in good reviews of this place it’s quite deceiving. Management is rude and unprofessional, is no help whatsoever and did I mention rude and unprofessional? Good luck trying to get anything resolved. The grounds are dirty, parking is impossible if you get home later than 9. The dog park is full of poop, weeds, dead trees, ants, cigarettes, trash bins are always full, dog wash station doesn’t work and the list goes on and on. On top of that kids run around at all hours of the night. The walls are paper thin you can hear everything from upstairs, downstairs, next door and outside. Moral of the story is this place is a wreck with horrendous management, your better off paying a little extra money instead of living in this dump.
The apartments are constantly having problems, but those happen and can be handled, except that the staff here is incompetent, and rude to EVERY person who lives here. They almost go out of their way to make sure you leave angry. I would never stay here again just because they make your life so insufferable. Do NOT recommend.
The management is lazy and they put too may rules that are ridiculous. The apartments are nice but they are cheaply made and far too expensive for being that cheap. Everything else is ok but those are the two main problems

Rude management, Cheryl didn’t even bother in showing us the apartment because it was “too early” to start looking and told us that if we already saw other apartments that are same design they were going to look the same from the inside...🤷🏽♀️
Old staff was great. New staff needs work. Very rude. Have to remind constantly of issues in apartment. Finally had them come over. Will be moving as soon as I can. Cannot get rid of Grasshoppers or Ants in the house. Have called pest control quite a few times. On the verge of calling housing inspector. With kids in the apartment I worry about their safety having to poison so much to get the bugs out.--Just as an update, even though we provided written notice because they could not get rid of bugs, they continuously tried to charge us over 4000 dollars for moving out 2 months early. I just could not have my family where we were not in control of bugs/ants any longer, so regardless of the response listed by the owner below, they did nothing and i ended up moving out (although they were given plenty of changes and documented occurrences). Please note they will only use this when its in their favor. On one of the last inspections they realized that the window had not been sealed and thats where all the bugs were coming from. Over a year of me telling them, they still did nothing.
Im so glad I didnt read the reviews before living here, it may have made me pick somewhere else to live. There are tons of negative reviews, but I really dont know why. Heres my experience.Im a 21 year old female, with leasing experience, so Im a bit picky when it comes to a leasing staff.When I walked in to tour, Emily gave me an awesome tour and chatted with me about my job. They were having a community holiday party, that day, which she invited me to. She answered all of my questions, and called to check in the next day.When I came to bring my application, who I gave to Rebecca. Shes a no nonsense type of woman, very straight to the point. I appriciate that myself, but I could see how someone could find her abrasive, if they havent interacted with strong personalities before.She called to let me know I had been approved.I signed my lease online, and came in on move in day.Jennifer had me fill out a few more thing, and gave me the keys to my new apartment. She was very sweet, and had a positive energy.There were a few small thing that I listed on my inventory form, and they were addressed by maintenance the very next day. Their maintenance staff is on it! They seem well organized, and friendly when you pass them. Way to go!A week or 2 after moving I got a call from Emily, just checking to make sure I settled in okay, and that I didnt have any questions. What apartment complex does that! Its awesome!I love the valet trash! I havent made much trash since moving in, but dang its great. I HATE having to walk my trash to the dumpster.Also, I thought, I wouldnt like the washer and dryer outside, but I love it! You cant hear them when theyre on, because theyre outside. Also, its suppose to be energy efficient AND if a line busts, the Water will run outside, and not into your apartment.I hear some noise, when Id rather not, but that comes with the territory, when living in an apartment.Over all, Ive had a great experience.
Absolute con artists! If you move in to this up and coming slum, hold on to your hub caps! They will charge you for existing issues that would normally fall under normal wear and tear. Make note of any stains left by previous tenants, they will charge you for anything you dont document. Absolutely a RIP off organization. Oh and I dont advise having nice rims on your vehicle, its not uncommon to walk out and see trucks on blocks, which the thiefs are kind enough to leave you your vehicle hacked up and ready for you to restock their inventory. This is a no go, take my advice, final two words to describe these employees and properties, crooks, slumlords!!
I lived in these apartments for a few months and parking is horrible, the pool is always dirty and overcrowded with non residents. The apartments are shoddy built with fresh paint.I PCSd on short notice and had to cancel my contract. They gave me a hard time and I didnt have time to fight them so I paid 60 days of rent. Then they called to say I owed $114, but wouldnt allow me to pay over the phone. They said to use the website, well since Im no longer a residenct I couldnt use the website. So they turned it over to a collection agency.Very unwilling to do anything but the bare minimum. Military stay away. There are much nicer apartments off of 151 for cheaper.
Im sure to get a nasty response but I would not even tour the place, not after reading the INFORMATIONAL reviews but because of the responses from the management, your responses, even though you try to sound professional, they sound rude and condescending. Why not except feedback as a positive thing? A good way to find out how to improve? I manage at my place of business and yes there are times I get feedback from customers even if it is out of my control, I own it, because I represent the business, and for this exact reason, reviews actually do impact other peoples perception not only of yourselves but the business that pays you. There was obviously a handful of people with the same issues. I hope they were solved, for their sakes, but as for me and my rent money and family, we will be looking elsewhere. I stay on the 3rd floor and have downstairs neighbors that constantly bothers us and the neighbors on the first floor since October 2017. We’ve been complaining on these neighbors nonstop. I even showed the managers the video proof of what we have to deal with every other day. I was told that their lease is over in January and that they’re not going renew their lease. Fast forward to March 2018, still going through the same non sense. Management said that because we haven’t complained to them anymore that they decided to renew their lease. Smdh.
Talked to the Regional Manager Ana Rendon today about an issue we are having, she refused to help us. So I asked her who her boss is and she replied and I quote “I don’t have a boss, NO ONE is in charge of me.” I told her everyone has a boss.So if you are thinking of leasing from these apartments I wouldn’t. We have had nothing but problems. I can’t image how many people have had problems and tried to get them resolved only to talk to Ana Rendon and get nothing done.
The apartment itself is very nice and updated. Emily and Tracey definitely show care in their communication, I do enjoy my interactions with them.I will commend them for the little touches, activities, games, and food trucks. The effort is there which I do appreciate and recognize.The reason for not 5 stars is a difference of principle. You will be require to sign up for cable and internet through their office. For those of us that dont want to pay for cable (because we live in the 21st century of streaming Netflix, Hulu, HBO etc) you have no choice. You have to opt in to the $80/mo package even if you can get just internet for $40 on your own and stream. Spectrum or at&t will say one can get your own, but the complex physically has blocked the ISP service to the buildings other than their spectrum package.No choice in the matter when signing a new lease. We werent required to do this when we signed our original lease, but any new lease requires the opt-in going forward.With that we do plan to move to save $$ on a few different aspects. Our rent for a 2x2 was 1300 + 95 garage + utilities + misc fees for a total of around 1600, not including the cable.Great facility, good people, just has gotten too expensive with all the other options out there with how SA is growing. Plus traffic here since both the updates to culebra and 151 has turned it into a residential log jam during rush hour. 4/5
Where do I begin? The new management is horrible. Roxanne Belasquez the Assistant Manager is very rude and acts like she owns the place. I asked her the restocking of Dog poop bags and she almost bit my head off. Jaclyn the rental agent is always on her phone texting everytime Im in the office. I have asked several times to speak to the manager and everytime I get the same answer...shes not here right now but you can leave her a message and she will get back with you or they try to push me off on Roxanne. No thank you. I cannot wait until this lease is finished. The office staff before this one was very nice and always spoke to residents and made us feel welcomed, but the new staff is rude and not personable at all. Feels like I live in an environment thats short of being called a jail. I wouldnt renew my lease even if they offered half of what Im paying now.
Horrible new management, no notice what so every about the change so i paid my rent like normal. 3 days later i got a eviction notice inside my apartment, the notice said they took inventory of my belongings and that if i didnt pay or move out they would take my belongings!!!! The next morning i went into the office and the lady couldnt care less. She made it seem like it was my fault for it paying the correct way, she told me to email her my recipient and asked if there was anything else she could help me with as she walked away. This tells me they knew there was a issue and still went into my apartment and looked around me personal items. I felt like my privacy was violated and I have reached out to a few attorneys who are willing to take my case. I we not be renewing! Btw this is just one of many complaints I have on the new management team! I used to tell everyone I know to check out the apartments, but now ill embarrassed I ever did.
New staff feels rude and the appearance of the property is deteriorating from where it was before. I still like living here; however if I knew the staff was selling the property, I would have not moved here.
Dont waste your time with this apartment complex. It has been the worst experience ever.
