We’ve lived here for a year and although the property is old and definitely shows it’s age in some areas, Tyler in the front office and Tony on maintenance are two of the best people I’ve ever interacted with while being a renter. They have gone above and beyond multiple times when I’ve asked for something to be fixed or addressed an issue on the property. They’re both unbelievably professional and courteous. Only their the reason we renewed for a second year here. Looking for a place to rent? Hit me up and lemme refer you. You won’t go wrong.

From the day I moved into my apartment, I called it home! These years, living here, have been enjoyable because of the office staff and the kind and serving maintenance crew. This past week, Tony, one of the new maintenance crew attended my ac issue and did so with a willingness to make sure my home was kept cool to my liking, in this most hot season in Texas. He acted quickly to assure my ac was back to cooling, and checking to see if I was satisfied with the temporary portable ac unit till a replacement part arrived. Im very pleased with this young mans diligence as he offered to check if I was comfortable enough. Thank you Tony for your kindness and making sure I was comfortable in keeping cool with the portable ac. Tony acted responsibly and got the job done within a matter of two days.

Instead of going head first into confusion, Tony (from maintenance) took the time to actually examine the issue and research our brand (one of the newer models) showing great dedication to the job and a high level of professionalism. She is professional, knowledgeable and delivers excellent customer service to the residents. It is a charming place with spacious apartments. I have lived here for two years and now am transferring from a one bedroom to a two bedroom in the same complex for more space. These apartments are beautiful, recently renovated, and the staff has always been friendly and fair. There is a mix of young people, families and elderly here so you may see people playing with their dogs, or kids playing. The location is ideal, safe, and the prices are great for the area. Tyler at the front office is great and in general everything here runs smoothly.

They are super unorganized and maintenance takes forever to come out. We had a backed up sink for multiple days. They also will rip you off when you move. We were charged to paint the entire apartment after living there for 3 years for 3 scuffs. Super disappointed with this company and will not recommend to anyone.

Terrible administration, we move in two weeks ago .the dishwasher doesn’t work properly, the ceiling is leaking, they didn’t let us use our washer and dryer . Just a horrible experience overall . They have one maintenance guy for all apartments and of course they haven’t fix our dishwasher and ceiling and we are paying premium department. I wouldn’t recommend this place to live!

My heater went out during the snow storm(s) of 2021, and the maintenance worker came to my apt on a timely basis. Did not have what he needed to fix it properly, but came back in a few hours to finish, He was polite and the heater is now working perfectly. Great Job !

Terrible administration, last night I arrived at my leased parking lot, and to my surprise, a car that was not mine was parked in my parking lot, I called the general administration and it was impossible for them to solve it, since the condominium administration does not have in the general data, the number of the security guard, does not have the number of the towing service to tow the car, it does not have anything updated, which shows great administrative negligence. I managed to get the number of the towing service hired by the condominium, and the answer was: you cannot request the towing service, even if you are a resident and have the leased parking space, you have to call the manager, and I answer which one, if since yesterday at 11 pm we are trying to solve and it has not been possible. Today at 9 in the morning my parking lot is still occupied by the abuser and the office opens at 10 am. They do not solve anything, everything is a mess, I really do not recommend living here, save yourself discomfort.

Pros: Decent price for the location, nice amenities, and Diana is a nice lady.Cons: Maintenance, management, state of apartments, and parking.The previous tenants did not take care of the apartment, so I was left with rusted appliances (one was replaced) and several maintenance issues. The appliances and electrical are very old and outdated so naturally, they have issues that I’m constantly having to put work orders in for. Maybe it’s just me, but maintenance requests take over 2 weeks to get resolved and at times the issue still doesn’t get resolved. It gets old having to email Tyler(the manager) anytime maintenance is overdue or having to re-renter a maintenance request because the issue was not fixed the first time. I’m not sure what they consider a timely manner for work orders, but 2-3 weeks seems unreasonable.Overall, it’s a place to live for convenience and price, but the minor frustrations build-up very quickly.

A few days ago I toured Boulevard Sonterra to view a one bedroom. My leasing agent that helped me was Diana Ayala. Diana not only gave me a wonderful tour but her customer service was fantastic she was friendly caring, and very humble. Diana made me feel like I was home I love that. She was my first stop and I got to say every other community I toured She was on my mind her customer service was on point. This place was perfect at the first moment when we moved in, affordable, very cute, quiet, comfortable. But now in our 5 month living here we’d had problems with roaches, at the beginning were small ones and just a few and then next week they were everywhere.We called pest control and they have come twice in the same week, haven’t seen any results yet, they sprayed the whole apartment and it supposed roaches should come out dead but now there are more and VERY ALIVE. It’s so crazy that we have found even in our bed.This is a very stressful situation and I never thought this apartments would have ROACHES INFESTATION. I don’t know what exactly they spray but it’s not working at all it’s very frustrating and we cannot live this way.

Boulevard at Sonterra is such an affordable high-end apartment that has made my quality living so much more elevated since I moved in. I love that I have the convenience to be able to walk to work and stores around the area, and skip paying for a gym membership and pool, since this place has it all included!!! It has everything you would need in an apartment and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I love being able to come home from work and relax in an updated modern living space. It outs my mind at ease knowing everything is taken care of. And they are even pet friendly with a dog park!

Update January 2021--maintenance request taken care of quickly. It was just changing the batteries in the smoke detectors, but still impressed with how diligently they work. Fastest maintenance crew Ive experienced in 2 years. Well done. Thank you!Update November 2020: Love the new Management company--Kairoi. Very attentive and understanding with everything happening with Corona. Maintenance is great. Timely response and even changed a couple light bulbs that I didnt even report. Reasonable rent for the area.I moved in a year ago March 2019. Overall happy with the Boulevard at Sonterra. The only issue I ever had was with the old management company, Short Management. I took over the lease for a friend last year. I had to go into the office for the first time to sign the lease agreement and I was never welcomed or given any information on the property facilities. Just paperwork and that was it. Hoping the new management company is going to be better. Already receiving daily digest emails full of information and events happening at the complex. Off to a good start!

Its a beautiful community in a great area.90% of the time, maintenance requests are completed within 24 hours. They also do a great job on the upkeep around the community.This is the only apartment community that I have ever renewed at, and it was solely because of their top notch maintenance team.

--Edit (2/21/2020)--The apartments are under new management. The new management company seems to be on top of things and there have been a lot of improvements in the apartment complex since they took over. The front office is better organized and more responsive to the customers. Maintenance staff will now go out of their way to fix anything else they might notice in the apartment while they complete what you requested.Finally the apartment have a proper management company.--End of Edit (2/21/2020)----Edit (1/24/19)--Apparently the management company does not know how to read emails. I have sent twice my proof of insurance to the email they provided, I spoke to someone on the phone confirming that they received my email, I also have proof that the email was opened (Boomerang extension for Google) and yet I come home to a notice stating that they do not have my proof of insurance and they will impose a $25 dollar fee by the next day. And the most annoying part is that I never received a call that would resolve this issue in 5 minutes or less.For the love of GOD someone please train the management team!--End of Edit (1/24/19)--I have been living here for almost 2 years. I was went through the last change of management and the property has improved. Trash situation improved, constant improvement though out the property (speed signs, regular landscaping, etc), prompt on maintenance requests.Im very please with the apartment I am currently leasing. The feature that I enjoy the most is that is has not carpet and it has a relative modern look (not your typical white and beige colors).Things to improve on IMO:• Cleanliness of the pool (leaf wise)• More recycle stations bins.• The front desk staff can definitely use some customer service training.(I dont mind much about the front desk staff since I only interact with them once or twice a year)• Better communication between the property and the tenants. (It would be nice if when you received a package you could get an email letting you know they have a package from you)

DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have lived in several different apartment complexes in the area and this one is by far the worst. This is my last month here (thank god!) and as I am writing this, I am waiting outside the clubhouse which was suppose to open at 1pm and it is 1:25pm and I am still waiting for staff to open the clubhouse and provide service to me.They always give an excuse and dont follow up when they say they will. For example, my hot water heater broke and they didnt fix it for seven days...I was without hot water for bathing, washing dishes, doing laundry, etc. for seven days! They came to look at it three times in those seven days before deciding it was broken, when it had been leaking for six months prior.Trying to get repercussions for the turmoil and uncomfortable living situation that caused was very hard as well. They are managed by a company out of Mexico so trying to get a hold of the complexes supervisors supervisor deemed quite difficult and even then it was an excuse and no resolution. The customer service here is an all time low. They dont care about their tenants and just want you to pay rent and leave them alone. There is no sense of community.My air conditioner also broke and needed to be replaced. The list goes on and on...I still have three maintenance requests in for light bulb replacement and since I put those in two months ago, I went and bought my own which the management refuses to reimburse me for.The gate did not work until one month ago, and even then everyone has the same code so that poses a security threat and shows how lazy the staff is, in not taking the time and effort to ensure a safe community with personalized gate codes.Again, DO NOT LIVE HERE. Pay rent for a better location, better amenities, better staff, better management, better maintenance, better everything.

They look different in person than in photos. They are not as large as pictures make it seem. Grounds are well kept except around garbage cans. I think if there were more garbage cans outside there might be less garbage placed around garbage areas. Very large patio. Overall they seem to be a very nice well kept place for the price and area. Office staff are not concerned with tenants concerns. I would give the office staff a 2 and the apartments themselves a 5 if I could.

The new management company is a joke! They dont work with you and they are not good at communicating with their own staff, so obviously they are not good at communicating with the residents. When trying to work with them, they blame you for the lack of communication. They show no sympathy for any confusion they cause. WORST COSTUMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED. At first my experience was AMAZING, but that was with a previous management company. I am so glad I am out of there. You can easily find better staff along with better prices and location.

I live here and was drawn in by the size and price. Unfortunately the management show they dont care about their renters. Months ago my sink started overflowing for no reason. The plumber said the pipes were old and this wouldnt change until the pipes were upgraded. As of this review it happened again over two weeks ago and it still isnt fixed. I informed the front office and they said someone would get to it soon that is what they said last week. I was drawn to the place because of the size and price but the trouble isnt worth the savings. This is the worst renting experince in my life. When the above apartment runs water (shower, toilet or washer) it sounds as if the ceiling will fall in. I can hardly sleep its so loud. The upgrades they started arent fixing the problems its just putting lipstick on a pig. Take this as a warning if youre thinking about moving in. Plus if they promise to do something for you get it in writing or it will never be done.

We literally just walked in to NOT to be greeted in a respectful way. Asked bout a 1 bedroom and the lady just said I wont have any til ending of next month. She did NOT TRY And help or ask if we were interested in a 2. These apt are beautiful inside and out. However, the people running the office really need to be replaced with people who are welcoming and at least pretend to enjoy their job. I read all the reviews however, we wanted to see for ourselves!!!! Yup! Id go with the reviews. Not to mention on my way out, I was greeted by a huge nasty ass roach. What a disappointment! Dont ever move here its not as good as they say it is, we have mold growing in our wall, as well as our floor is peeling up and we have contacted management 4 times about other issues including holding resident packages for not being on the lease as well as being threatened to get kicked out for not being on the lease and other problems such as not being told the correct day our lease was up, as well as the pest guy coming in our house without our knowledge and without the gear for it. Nothing has been done and they continue to rip off people interested in renting here.

There are several people leaving this place and I can see why. Do not stay here. I never write reviews, but this is by far one of the worst places to stay. The people in the leasing office are absolutely horrible. They have the worst attitudes when youre not even discussing a complaint or anything with them. I try to avoid them at ALL costs. I like my home; I really do. The layout is nice, The grounds are attractive. It is fenced with a gate that requires a pin to open. My neighbors are inoffensive and keep to themselves. It is always quiet, even ith the high school across the street.Why one star then? The office and management are grossly incompetent-the maintenance is even worse-the customer service is abhorrent. I cannot believe this place runs as it does. I have lived here just over a year, and they are on their fourth manager, and who only knows how many maintenance men and maintenance teams. When my A/C died in August (100 degree temps) the office staff didnt provide a maintenance person for 5 days, and told us remember, you have ceiling fans! I have work orders that are almost a year old and still undone. If I have packages delivered (its Christmas coming up so there will be lots) it is a 75-25 chance I get them. I have had a cigar retailer and a clothing retailer refuse my orders because of multiple refunds issued for lost packages that UPS, USPS, and Fed Ex say were delivered. There is nothing the front office does right or does well. Blown down tree blocking my front door-I had to move it myself because it wasnt an emergency.If their online payment system doesnt work correctly (which is not uncommon), they still charge you a late fee. They even cannibalize vacant units to avoid replacing defective equipment and supplies with new stuff.To anyone consider this place - DONT DO IT! It is too much stress living here, and you will get aggravated by the staff.

I am a new resident and I just love this complex! The staff are so friendly and inviting and the maintenance staff are always ready when something happens! Very safe and secure surrounding and beautiful atmosphere! The porch here is amazing and the apartment is very spacious and just perfect! The pool is also very nice too. I have no problems with noise or neighbors or theft. This is also a perfect location for high schoolers as well. Regan high school is just down the street and one of the best high schools here in san Antonio and the cost is reasonable. Just want to say glad I chose the lodge as my new home and thank you for making us feel safe and at home here in San Antonio! Just perfect! Thank you ! Angela!

Maintenance is really a BIG issue here, I would say almost inexistent, like if the staff would want the residents to take care of it... Good location, the apartments are old, but ok, nice common areas... dont get me wrong, with better customer care this could be a great place, but the fact that staff does not seems to care about anything you may report, is really frustrating. Decent apartments if you dont mind filthy carpets and mold covered up with caulking in your tub. The office staff is HORRIBLE!!! There is constant turnaround and never any communication. I agree with the reviewer who says you need a lawyer to work with them. The customer service skills are non-existent. They lack empathy and compassion. Yes, we understand you have a job to do (and obviously assisting the residents who live there isnt one of them), but take some classes on how to build your interpersonal skills before you go into a sales/customer focused industry.

It is in your best interest to stay far away from the BLVD at Sonterra. My husband and I lived in these apartment for three year and they were constantly finding ways to up the rent. Our rent went up 200 dollars from the time we moved in. Additionally, the office had to be called multiple times for maintaince to come out including for over 6 instances of our roof leaking. Moreover often they are not at the office and you are stuck waiting for someone to return. We moved out this year and the company lost many of our documents, stated that we need picture to prove the condition of the apartment when we left it and charged us over $400 dollars for cleaning and other fees. When talking to their employees make sure you get everything in writing or they will not honor anything that was said. Once they lost our rent and we had to provide the money order stub with an employees signature to prove we had turned it in. Finally after speaking with an employee who stated we could turn in the keys one day late so we did not have to take off work to return the key they charged us 1 day extra rent anyways and stated they did not recall the conversation and because we did not have proof the charge was still going to be applied. Only go to this apartment complex if you want poor service, incompetent management, and ridiculous fees.

This is honestly the most ridiculous place I have ever been to. We have been back multiple times just to see a 3 bedroom. And every time we come back they give us a different date to look at them. We have an application in and are moving Feb but they cant seem to show us a 3 bedroom. They are completely unorganized and rude. Brittany is absolutely incompetent. And doesnt know how to do her Danm job..

Office staff is beyond incompetent. Any attempt to communicate or get help goes without response. Stay away from here.. Never was a repair done without multiple requests. I had a leak in the ceiling last year and it took them 3 months to paint and repair.And there were no issues with rent or deposits from my end, it is just horrible service

There are serious problems with the available parking lots, it even has a boat parked in the parking lot that eliminates a place for a car. They have no control over the number of cars per apartment, there are even cars that do not move from the parking lot, as if they were only stored there. And the administration only says: we cant do anything, you can solve if you rent a covered parking (which are also limited). I find it unheard of, because they must present solutions to the residents.

I have been living at this property for over two years, dont let the hype of being in stone oak foolYou. I recently became walker and wheel chair dependent, my doctor wrote letters requesting Release of my lease because this apartment is not ADA compliant. They stated they cannot accommodate the dr requests and said in the meantime they would put rails in the bathtub, its now been over 10 days since they said they ordered the rails and would install them. Its now the 10th of the month and I was told I could leave with 30 day notice and be released from my lease with no penalty, yet we are half way through the 30 days and still no rails for me take a shower, please tell me if Im wrong but this isnt right. It was mentioned contacting the news and the ksat defenders, Ive reached out to them And disability rights of Texas. One staff members wife even stalks and spies on me and I have sent a cease and desist and will be suing for Decimation of character and harassment I have photos and whiteness to this. A staff member here even assaulted me and put me in the hospital for 4 days. The assistant management has lied to me about rent and doctor notes and another staff member yelled at me over it, all of which is recorded conversations that I have as well as a whiteness who heard the entire conversation via phone. At this point I advise people to be very weary of this place. Its not safe or professional and people here are drama. My first two years here were fine and now one person causes all of this. I just want out, I amFearful for my Safety. Are there any other resources other than the news, and disability rights Texas and the battered womens shelter? Ive reachedOut to all three and am trying to get helpIts just going slower than I need. Please help!

This place was a nightmare. We moved out May 31. The only reason for a 1 star is cause we had a roof over our head. Do not rent from the Boulevard at Sonterra. We had issues with cockroaches since we moved in last June (Yes, we had pest control come multiple times). At one point it got so bad that we couldnt even go to the bathroom in the middle of the night without turning on the light. SO GROSS! Pest control comes on Mondays. I took a Monday off work to be home when they came, and they never showed up. Turns out, the front office never submitted our request. It took 3 weeks for them to come spray. Each time I would call the office and they would not have record of my request. The manager, Gloria, said the reason we have cockroaches is cause they come in when we open our door. I was dumbfounded when she said that. Cockroaches dont wait outside someones door and then come in. Its not A Bugs Life. And pest control didnt do anything. We had issues with cockroaches until the day we moved out. Our bathtub was leaking and they refused to replace anything (carpet in the hallway that had been flooded), bust out the wall to check for mold, (which they were originally going to do but decided against it) etc. but the most frustrating part is the leasing office. The disorganization, lack of professionalism, and level of laziness is mind-boggling. They turned away my payroll that I had sent to my address not once but twice, so I was without my paycheck for a week. When I asked what carrier it was (thinking maybe I could go pick it up at the store) they said they dont know and didnt ask because he was wearing normal clothes, they lost another package that said it was left at the office, our new complex had contacted them twice to obtain our rental history and they never responded. I had to go in and ask for it myself and they werent sure what a rental history was. I had to explain it to them. I got a call a week before we were supposed to move out asking if we wanted to renew our lease even though we turned in our 60 day notice on time. I had to go in with the copy of our 60 day notice with Marias signature to prove we had provided it. The icing on the cake was we moved out two weeks early into our new place (May 15). When we came back two weeks later for the final cleaning, (May 31st), we found 3 cockroaches, there was black mold and an obvious leak from the dishwasher in the living room and the cleaning lady asked if we had a cat because there was cat litter in the corner (where we stacked our boxes for the year we were there, so I never vacuumed in that corner). We dont have a cat, and that means they didnt even get the carpets cleaned before we moved in! They told me it would take 2 weeks to get a final bill together if there are any charges and I had to call them 4 times to get the information. Each time, Maria would say, can we call you back tomorrow? And I didnt receive a call back once. Be careful!!! The office is completely incompetent and the apartments suck.

I have been living at Boulevard at Sonterra since October of last year. Ill admit i wasnt sure how i liked it at first, but once the new property manager (Renona) took over, my experience here has been amazing. Ive lived in several different apartment complexes and this is the first one i have ever been excited to renew at. The office staff is always helpful with any questions or concerns i have and Renona has personally taken care of me on several occasions. The facilities (Gym, pools, BBQs, etc.) are great, and lately theyve even been upgrading the landscaping. I would suggest giving this community a chance. Im glad i did.

Worst place to stay. A deposit is in case anything is wrong when you leave and they try telling me I owe 200 more for things like a stained toilet that was stained when I got there when I put down 600?! Maintenance is the worst. The lazy people dont fix anything even after telling them 5 times. I highly suggest looking somewhere else to rent. A big mistake. The people that run this lie to you from the very beginning.

Absolutely worst experience I have ever had at an apartment...from beginning to end (and after that even). The staff is extremely unprofessional, and they do not care about their residents one bit. They act as if they are doing you a favor by allowing you to live there. I cannot say one nice thing about this place, as it was horrible the entire time we were there (even broke our lease early to avoid this place). Whatever you do, stay away from this place. Hopefully their property management team, internacional realty will do a major overhaul.

The worst thing the complex have is their office employees. The people in the leasing office are absolutely horrible and rude, very unprofessional. They have the worst attitudes when youre not even discussing a complaint or anything with them and laugh in your face when you ask for information. You can not trust in the administration, the manager is awful and she never address your concerns, she hide in her office. And the place still dirt.

Absolutely the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The office staff is horrible, the mantaince staff is horrible, the complex is nasty. The unit I had was in horrible shape when I moved in and it took me 6 months to get them to finish painting my back door. The carpet in my unit was coming up and was never fixed the entire year I was present and to put the icing on the cake the management team forged my signature on the move in inspection report (it was a blank copy stating nothing was wrong with the apt). Save yourself a headache and take your money elsewhere, there are plenty of apartment complexes in San Antonio.

Where to start... By reading other peoples reviews I was prepared that the management at this place wasn´t perfect, but when my boyfriend got a renting contract through his job, this was the place we ended up. I must say, everything on the outside looks great, clubhouse, neighborhood..Apartments are ok, except the dishwasher that completly destroy´s your kitchenware.BUT, the management is CHEAP and unproffessional. When we moved in the gate in the front was not working (so anyone could get in the area during the night.. The office explained someone had hit the gate.. After 8 monhs, they still have´nt fixed it. This makes the place feel less safe, and even though we complained several times, nothing happened. They are using the excuse Someone will probably hit it again, which is NOT OK... They also have a poolarea with two big grills and several sunbeds. Usually only one grill is working, because they are to cheap to buy gas for both. During the weekends the gas in the only grill that´s actually working is usually finished. The third time we came to the grill area with food, and the gas was finished, we went to a CVS: store and got a brand new gas for the grill. The following monday, we got to the office to claim money for our expenses (about 70 dollar).. They said they would´nt cover that... Things like that really shows the managements true colors. Not only that, in the middle of the summer 2015, they suddenly closed down the whole poolarea, claiming different excuses to different residents. Pool is dirty Someone broke a glas in the pool The pool wall is broken...Basically, they shot down the whole area because they said people couldn´t be swimming. Now they just say the poolarea is closed until further notice.. (And since they haven´t fixed the gates yet, who know´s how long this is gonna take)... So now, we dont have any gates, no pool, no sunbeds and no grill.. People pay for these facilities, and it is the managements job and responsibility to make sure these things are actually working.. Also one last thing, the cinema in the clubhouse is closing at 6 pm. Who is watching a movie before 6?Like I said, everything should look good on the outside... I think these people are working really hard to get future residents, and that´s where they put their effort.. Maybe if they managed the place better, people wouldn´t be moving that often, and they wouldn´t be struggling with renting out the place..

Im disappointed that with what we pay for trash times the number of residents here they could afford to have the dumpsters emptied more then once a week. Come Monday it looks DISGUSTING
