Friendly Home Services installed a whole new heating and air conditioning system in my home and they did an excellent job. The installers, Dallas, Austin and Marshall were on time, very professional and finished the job in a timely manner. The system is working great and they offer an amazing warranty so I have peace of mind for years to come. I would recommend Friendly Home Services to anyone.

I have had Friendly Service to my home before and felt like I got a good deal. Not so much this time.The techs were very nice, but I feel the price was too high for what was done. I also expected more from the tune up not really sure anything was done for that cost. I would like to have seen the new capacitor that was installed before the unit was closed up. I mean honestly, how do I even know it was done. Hopefully the tech is an honest guy and he probably is, but I dont know him. In the end, expected to pay $66 for a furnace and AC tune up, ended up $560. Will probably shop around next time.

Jeremy, Phil & Thomas were excellent ! I Was still just thinking to be getting a quote for a new H2O heater and hired them immediately... instead.. In 90 minutes the trio had an excellent new system ...up and running, with all the frills.. the old one wasnt broken, just 13 years old. The new install is sweet! Now I can enjoy that my household can take 2 baths and a shower without delays, one right after each other...instead of waiting :45 to have the boiler to struggle to recover... Clean, smart...top notch.

Called and scheduled a same-day quote for a kitchen drain issue. Beau D. was our technician, he was very knowledgeable and experienced. The cost was a bit higher than I had anticipated, although Im sure it was competitive to similar sized companies. Please do yourself a favor & do not use these people. It was an awful experience. I was told the service fee would be part of the overall repair & the total amount would be $150 since it was a rush. I confirmed w/ the lady that was not a separate fee & it would be built into the total service. The technician came an hour and a half late for a 9AM appointment. They told me my heater, water softener & water heater all needed to be replaced (which I said no to) & the little valve that needed to be replaced where the water was leaking was going to be $380 plus the $150. $530 plus tax to replace a small valve. I felt totally scammed.

Excellent service. We had tried calling multiple companies about a clogged drain and no one was able to come out same day except for an additional after hours charge. These guys were able to come out, diagnose the issue and offer a solution all for a great price. The technician was very professional polite and friendly. Hopefully we dont need to use a plumber again anytime in the future but if we do these guys are on the top of our list and we highly recommend them to anybody and everybody.

As the owner of a back yard cottage rental apartment, I needed a quick response and maintenance of a faulty gas furnace. I called them to come do a tune up on my furnace, which at the time was working fine, and the next day my furnace stopped working. When they came back they told me I have to replace the furnace. It was a pretty Old furnace so perhaps its a coincidence, but thats too much of a coincidence for me to ever trust them again.

We have now used Friendly Home services twice and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Everyone we have dealt with has been professional, and courteous. Their technician Alex W. came to look at our A/C in the summer and again at our thermostat/heater in the winter when we were having issues with them. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly and honest. We had another company come out in the summer to look at the A/C and fed us B.S. problems about our unit and tried to get us to pay $1800+ for repair. Alex came out and identified that it was just an issue with the filter needing to be changed more often, showed us the levels our A/C was operating at so we knew everything was fine. Its because of Alexs high level of customer service and integrity that we will not even bother calling anyone else going forward. All companies could use more employees like him.

The need for a plumber emerged when an appliance technician informed us that the leak that had suddenly appeared on our utility-room floor was not coming from the washer or its hoses. Instead it was coming from the main drainpipe behind the washer. Friendly had been our go-to plumber on two previous major projects and sent plumbers to the scene the next day. Clark, Bill, and Matt were the first. They diagnosed the problem, suggested potential solutions, and set to work breaking up the concrete floor to expose the 50-year-old cast-iron pipe that collected the wastewater from the house and delivered it to the septic tank. Using an in-pipe camera and a sonar device, they identified the pipes location and depth in the front yard and closely described the next steps, beginning with excavation in order to access the pipe at the target location in the yard. Patrick and Jake arrived a few days later and, within an hour, had artfully dug a 6x3x8 hole and found the pipe a few feet from the entrance to the tank. They cut it there and removed a section in order to have access to the interior of the pipe all the way (approx. 30 ft) back to the opening in the utility room. Together with another specialist, Jaren, on the following day, they pressure-cleaned the interior of the pipe, then injected a substance that formed a new, smooth interior lining along the length of the pipe--essentially creating a replacement pipe that spared us the expense and disruption of digging up and removing the remainder of the old pipe and installing a new one. Over the next two days, Clark and Asher removed the broken concrete in the utility room and replaced it with new concrete, as well as replacing the connections between the newly lined drainpipe and the rest of the drain structure in the utility room. At our request, they also installed a new water softener especially designed for and manufactured in Utah. (We noticed an immediate improvement in handwashing with soap.) All told, what had originally appeared to us as a catastrophe in the making had required five workdays at what we considered a reasonable price (and financed over 15 months at no interest). What I have reported here at excessive length is meant to commend the plumbers for their appreciable skills and their successful completion of the project and for their careful, personable manner in its course.Hal M.

They installed a tankless water heater about a year ago and then had to come back a couple of days after install because we werent getting hot water. through our recirculation line. there was a plug in the unit that installers are supposed to remove, and they did not. problem solved.fast forward to last week. i want a new furnace, so i schedule an appointment online. I had a confirmation that they would be here, and then i got a text message quickly thereafter telling me that i should schedule my appointment. i told the person on the phone that i had a confirmation, and sent a picture of the confirmation. i got no response. then i got a no call no show.ill just get a furnace through someone else. i doubt theres much difference between the company that installs them anyways.

Professional, courteous and efficient. Phil and his team really saved me money and my sanity in fixing an improperly installed shower pan, routing plumbing for a bathtub and finding a subcontractor to retile my shirt in less than a week.

From the first phone call, to the end of the service, everything was 5 stars. Our technician, Beau, was professional, nice, fast and knew what he was doing. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. Friendly Services came me to our house to do an emergency water flood. They answer the phone and they send someone as soon as possible by the time that I got home all the issues were solved the technician was very knowledgeable and he is explained to us what was the best route in order to take care of the issue. Everything was done and very quickly. I have had the annual protection service with Friendly for the past three or four years or so. I have always enjoyed working with them. Today, Alex came out to look at an issue I was having with my furnace. Not only did he do a thorough inspection, he explained three different options that I had moving forward. Alex was professional, easy to talk to, and very friendly. I look forward to working with him again!

I knew the cold weather was coming, so I attempted to fire up my furnace a couple of days ago (Tuesday). My system was possessed, because the air conditioner came on instead of the heater. I called Friendly Home Services, and they got me scheduled for the next morning. I received a text message with a picture of the technician that would be coming to my house, which was a nice touch. Cory S. showed up shortly thereafter, and got to work trying to locate the problem. The field supervisor Skylar showed up right after that, and began to assist Cory in the assessment. Once the problem was determined, they showed me the issues - which included showing me the cracks in the heat exchanger with their camera. Long story short, my system(s) were in bad shape. They broke the news to me that I needed to replace my system and showed me why it was unsafe to continue to use. I reluctantly agreed, and they set the wheels in motion. They had the installers and the new equipment to my house in about an hour! Cory L. and Mayson showed up first, and they were both very courteous. They covered all pathways with tarps, and then I showed them where everything was. Mayson got to work outside unhooking the compressor unit, and Cory went downstairs to begin disassembly of the unit. A few minutes later, another installer named Charles showed up. I had two lead techs and another technician working to replace my heating and A/C systems! They were so fast - my new systems were up and running in a little over three hours!! Cory, Mayson and Charles were very respectful of my home and explained everything in great detail. I could not be happier with the service I received, and all things considered I feel I paid a fair price for such great service. If you need service, give Friendly Home Services a call. I havent seen them yet, and already Im disappointed with their service. They quoted me a 1:00 appt time, but I didnt hear from them for almost an hour after, and not until I contacted them for an update. Apparently 1:00 means 1:00-5:00 not 1:00.

Phil is AMAZING. He explained everything and answered all of my questions- and trust me, there were a lot as this was a major project and also my first time contracting out work on my home. He was so responsive and helpful and addressed all of my concerns. The guys that came out and did the demo were also beyond respectful and friendly, and they got it done quickly with minimal mess which for a demo like this really surprised me. not to mention the work turned out beautifully. So long as Phil remains with the company - I’m a customer for life.

I have to say that in the end my experience was not good. I would rate this 0 stars if I could. I contacted Friendly looking for a bid on a new furnace and air conditioner install. I was told that one person would be coming, and then two showed up. They came in and did a fine job on the consultation, other than it was about 2 hours long. At the end, they told me that instead of having to call and provide personal information over the phone, they would get me pre-approved to see if the financing would work if I decided to go with them. They ran the pre-authorization, and told me it wasnt enough and they could call and get it adjusted IF I decided to go with them. And that was an IF. I had a couple of other quotes done, and found out I was being overbid for items. then today I came home and found out that they handt just done a pre-authorization in my name, but they had actually opened an account with a credit company, which I had not approved. They had never explained that it would open an account, or told me to be expecting to receive a card in the mail. I am VERY DISSATISFIED with this, and quite upset about it. I will NEVER contact Friendly about any services at any time EVER in the future. Shady stuff.

Having had a positive experience with Friendly Home Services on an electrical project this summer, I chose them to install a new furnace. My house is old and the furnace is not easily accessed. Earlier this summer I had another company tell me they couldnt actually install a new HVAC system after I had already signed a contract. Edgar and Osvaldo from Friendly were up to the task! They worked all afternoon and well into the evening to make sure the job was done right. Though it could not have been easy, the new furnace works great and has breathed new life into an old home.

I had a furnace inspection performed. The tech said that the blower was roughly 1.5 Amps over max, & that he wasnt sure if the heat exchanger had a crack, which would cause carbon monoxide poisoning. I asked about the price to replace the blower he said roughly $900. I asked about the heat exchanger he said the furnace would have to be replaced, about $5K. I said I have whole home warranty. The next day whole home warranty sent a tech out. He found the blower was well w/in tolerance. And we went to one of the vents, he found no measurable carbon monoxide. He also stated that its a top of the line furnace thats just 11 years old, & I should get another 15-20 years out of it. So, their tech cost me an additional $60 for the 2nd tech as well as not being able to do that mornings errands. I wont use them again.

We had our furnace stop working recently and was recommended to Friendly Home Services by a friend. I called a setup an appointment and they called to get one sooner. Alex and Jeff came out to assess our situation and come up with a plan. They gave us various plans that worked within our budget and things that we could do later if we were able to pay for it. ALEX WAS AMAZING! There was a mixup on the schedule and instead of waiting until the following week, Alex came out on his day off to fix the issues and get our furnace back up and working great. Alex fixed our duct work as well and I havent had this much air pressure in my house in four years. Thank you Alex and Friendly Home Services, you are amazing!

I highly recommend Friendly Home Services. They have replaced an HVAC for our kids, fixed a horrid leak, worked on our domestic water system, installed a dedicated electrical line and RV breaker, and helped a friend without power ASAP, Everything they have done has been of excellent quality. Under present circumstances, and being a retired RN, they are very CoVID aware and made us older high risk folks comfortable doing recent needed work. They have gone above and beyond just friendly, they are more like family, I can not thank them enough and a big shout out to Ric, for his help of late for us and my friend. I will never call anyone else for household issues!

Got a quote to replace my hot water heater. They wanted $3,000!!! If I wanted to buy my own tank and have them install, it was $950!!! A furnace and AC costs $6,000!!! (Not from Friendly) Id been calling Friendly for the last five years! I will NEVER call them again! Imagine gouging an old lady like that! Quotes from stores was $950 including a 50 gallon electric water heater! Friendly should be ASHAMED of themselves!!!

Justin does a great job! I used him for our personal home and I also refer my real estate clients to use them for inspections as well since they are so thorough and have a great price! Friendly is a correct name for this company, everyone (even the schedulers) are super friendly!!Update: I came on here again to give Beau a 5 star rating too. For may of 2021. My personal home had an unexpected drain issue. He came over once and wasn’t able to diagnose it 100% because somethings were in the way. I was able to move some things and He came back in between a job the same day that I called him and was able to diagnose it. Also extremely friendly and personable. Definitely will trust my home services and all my clients home services to Friendly home services. All their technicians are top notch!!I had another plumber come out that same week from a different company and quote me $11,000 to do a fix when they didn’t even put a camera down the drain or know anything that was going on. Friendly home services actually diagnoses the problem and then gives you a realistic quote .

I would highly recommend Alex Wiltz and Friendly Home Services. He has worked on our furnace and attached humidifier. He was polite and courteous, adhered to COVID-19 protocol, was knowledgable and efficient. He listened to and answered my questions. He was able to come out the next morning after I called to schedule a diagnostic appointment. Their fee was competitive. Very pleased and will use them again.

I used Friendly Home Services to install a furnace and water heater in our commercial building. I also purchased a maintenance agreement. Unfortunately, they dont answer their phone line making it impossible to schedule a maintenance appointment. They choose to communicate by text when they do respond - great for casual conversation but not professional. I made mistake calling and using this company. Dont make the same mistake.

I contacted Friendly Home Services in regards to loud, humming pipes every time we turned off the faucets in our house. Randy Fiola came out, was on time, let us know he was on the way and fixed the problem in minutes. Randy quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed, waiving the service fee and costing us literally nothing. I have used Friendly Home Services before and they continue to impress me with their professionalism. I will absolutely use them again.

We smelled gas and made a quick phone call to Friendly Home Services. They were able to send out a technician that day and he conveniently was done with his previous apt quickly enough that he was at our house within an hour of our phone call. Beau was great! Friendly Home Service was easy to contact. They kept me informed of when they would be there. They were there right at the beginning of the window rather than five minutes after the end like other places. The tech was great! He wore shoe covers even though I have seven kids and a little dirt is the least of my concerns. He quickly got the tub to drain. Put in stuff to make it continue to drain for a long time. Took the time to tell me about what was going on and did a camera down the line even though it was difficult to get to. Then didnt try to charge me extra for anything! I will definitely be calling them next time I need a plumber. And since Im a real estate agent I will be adding them to my list of preferred providers!

Scam alert! I called them out to fix my AC. They immediately started tearing apart my furnace without need to do so (or my authorization). They said I have a cracked heat exchanger, which I later found out may not even be true. They were probably just trying to sell me a new furnace. I even overheard them talking about doing this when one of them didn’t know he was on speakerphone. Unbelievable.Edit: In my case I had (correctly) diagnosed the issue being with the outdoor unit that was not working so why look at the furnace right away? At the very least they were hoping for something to be wrong. Their below response makes sense in general but it does not apply in this case.

I really liked that when I text the phone number on a Sunday I got a response. I didn’t think I works on a Sunday. I was able to setup a day and time via text which made it super easy and convenient. The technician was very helpful in suggesting all types of fixes to my sewer line. I would definitely recommend to family/friends.

We used Friendly Plumber Heating and Air today to check out our furnace and air conditioning unit. Taylor was our technician and the whole experience was really great! Calling to schedule to visit was very easy. We were given a 4-hour window to expect service and then another phone call about 30 minutes before Taylor arrived. I was really impressed with the people in the office, the texts that they send to confirm, remind you of your appointment, and also to “introduce” you to your technician.Taylor was friendly, professional, and courteous. He maintained appropriate boundaries, was kind to my children (and not in a weird way), knowledgeable, and laid back.Again, the entire service including payment and follow-up was so easy and professional. I highly recommend this service!

I used to love this company, and it is still a good company, but they have a technician that i dont trust, and he seems to be the tech that comes out 90% of the time that i use them or refer someone to them. He always lies about the work that needs to be done, and has a huge markup on everything (initials are BD). I will stop using and referring this company to friends and family because of this one technician.

I got same day service to fix my bathtub. Shutoff valve was busted and needed to be replaced. Matt the plumber was great- very genuine and a nice guy. Fixed the issue within a matter of minutes. The payment process was very easy as well. I thought the repair was a tad pricey but making my wife happy is priceless.

Worst experience I have had, need an option for negative stars. They showed up Wednesday morning to bid the job. The salesman Skyler was very good at his job. He said they could install it same day. We did the financing and the installers were there by 12:30pm. The technician told me he couldnt do the cold air returns in the basement in the walls. He wanted to install one in the ceiling of my master bath which I refused. I asked if a permit had been pulled and he said he was sure they had. He installed the A/C and started on the furnace but didnt have it working and left at 9pm. It was 46 degrees that night. The next morning I called the sales man and complained so he said they were sending a more experienced installer. 4 technicians showed up at 9am. They again said they couldnt do the cold air returns in the walls again. They ended up ripping out the whole furnace, line set, and wiring then reinstalling everything. They got it up and tested the heat and cooling once and then left at 5pm. The A/C ran all night and never met the set point (72 degrees). In the morning I raised the thermostat up so the a/c would shut off and it immediately started getting hot in my house. The thermostat was not calling for heat but the furnace was on and lit. I moved the thermostat down and the A/C came on but the furnace never stopped burning. It had run all night with the flame bar and the A/C both running. I shut it off and called them again having to leave a message. In the message I mentioned I didnt believe they had pulled a permit so I would be calling the planning office when they open. I called the planning commission and left a message. Skylar called me back saying that the permit had been pulled and they were sending someone out. The planning office called me back and said they had just asked for the permit on the 2 days after the install started. They came out about 2:30pm finished the heat runs and found they had wired the humidifier wrong but didnt have the part to make it right. They had to come back on Monday to install the part to get everything working correctly. Nothing is plumb or level on anything they installed. The inspector came on Tuesday and failed the inspection. So they need to come back and fix the minor then the inspector will need to come back. My time is obviously of no importance to them. While filling out my rebate paperwork I noticed a discrepancy. Their invoice shows a part number for a 3 ton compressor but the certificate is for a 2.5 ton compressor. My house is 1900sqft. It doesnt matter what calculator you use 1900sqft = 3 ton. Now they claim I asked for a 2.5ton which I did not. I saw 3 ton on the bid and the invoice but that is not what I have.

Friendly stained my carpet and put dents in the wall. The had to come out and rewire my hvac due to wiring wrong the first time. They have not showed up for service appointments without notification. Ive been dealing with this for 2 YEARS. Not impressed. I would steer clear of them. Not friendly at all.

This was definitely a friendly service! Wore shoe covers, offered the dogs a treat, explained what he saw thoroughly. Cleaned up after himself and did a thorough check of our furnace. He made recommendations that seemed reasonable (to someone who doesnt know much about how furnaces work). I would recommend them again!

My plumbing expert, Matt, arrived on time as scheduled. He explained my issue to me thoroughly as well as my options. He explained how to maintain my system to prolong its use. He quickly completed the repair leaving the space clean and tidy. I am extremely pleased with the service I received and highly recommend Friendly Home Services.

Arrived on time. Very friendly greeting and introduced themselves. They asked Permission to enter our home. Jeremy spent a lot Of time explaining how the system works and why they did the service the way they did it. I used Friendly Home Services for the first time today. Jaron and Bill were fantastic! My toilet had a clog down the line and they resolved it quickly and efficiently. They were very personable and professional- knew what they were doing. I would recommend this company and will call them again in the future.

As the name says Friendly plumbing and heating and their technicians are not only friendly but they really care about you. Cole and Brent were awesome today. They really show they are here to exceed expectations and they did. Very nice guys. I recommend this company often. Love the techs picture on your notifications.

I paid for an AC tune up and was expecting them to do exactly that. What I actually received was a tech coming to basically check on how everything was working and telling me what repairs I needed and gave me a ridiculous quote on what it would take to fix it. I was pretty disappointed.

This is my fourth time using Friendly Plumbers. As a real estate agent I often find myself in need of plumbers and this company has been reliable and great to work with on every occasion. Their communication is fantastic and their plumbers are nice and professional and their prices are affordable. What more could you ask? I highly recommend them and have even used them on my personal home.

They scoped my sewer lateral as part of an inspection for a home I considered buying. Thorough and quick job, at a low and fair price. Justin was my rep and took care of things. Gave me a video recording of the inspection with their audio and comments throughout.Also, this company gives lots of reminder texts, emails, and calls. Id say 4-5 points of contact during the 4 days between when I contacted them and when the inspection occurred. This could annoy some, but it was very helpful for me so I didnt waste an entire day of work just waiting around for them. Very prompt and true to their estimates. I imagine this communication will help you if they get behind for some reason.For me, they were prompt and thorough.

They definitely live up to their name!! From scheduling our appointment to finishing the job, these guys have been wonderful! Easy to work with! They have been so great to work with! Very knowledgeable and they take time to listen and answer questions. They told me all of the concerns they had and did not pressure me into doing items I couldnt afford yet.

Check of my water heater revealed a substantial leak requiring a new installation. Randy worked out his schedule to do it the same day. He was friendly, informative, accommodating and efficient and kept me informed as to all aspects of the installation. I used this company to install a furnace and A/V a year ago and was pleased with the service at that time. I will continue to rely on them for my maintenance needs.

The person came and checked my heater, he sent me an invoice after we paid by card on site. The invoice shows all the recommendations he is making for the heater. They also sent a separate page showing the recommendations. I dont need that on two pages. I simply asked for a RECEIPT showing that we paid the amount we did.He also did not leave the sticker with the service date on my heater. Ive called and explained what I need and they will check on it. Havent heard a word back.

I wanted to have someone come by and increase the water pressure in the home I just bought. Skyler came by and was very friendly and professional, but literally turned a knob and was done with the job. He was in my home for less than 10 minutes, and he told me the least he could charge me was $180...he even said himself that was too much and gave me a coupon. After everything, it cost me $150, and left me wishing I would have just YouTubed how to do this myself. Don’t call these guys if you have a job that you think you could do yourself!!!

5 star-RANDY was great!! He showed up on time, diagnosed the problem and offered correct solutions. He was friendly and helpful with all issues. He took his time to do it right the first time, every time. He was very knowledgeable and forthcoming with information.

These guys are AMAZING. Ive had their service for one of my homes for about a year and decided to add my second home as well. They are always kind, knowledgeable and efficient. They never try to up sell unless it truly does benefit you. I trust them in my home when Im not there.

When the Tech arrived he told me that they would still have to charge the $44 fee even if they didnt clear the drain and had me sign something to that effect. He was not able to clear the drain despite his best efforts and told me they could Jet the tub drain for $500.I called My Buddy the Plumber. He told me that wouldnt charge me at all if he couldnt clear the drain. He cleared the drain in 15 minutes and only charged $49.

This is a great company and they hire great technicians. They know their business and allow the customer to choose the next step of action. The company will send you a photo of the technician that will arrive. This was helpful.
