There was only a couple of people working in office.A lady said almost everyone works remotely at home. If you have accounting issues and no cc or debit card.. out of luck. The lady in the office was very nice.
As a first time homeowner, I was very impressed and appreciative for the time Jake took walking me through the status and condition of our heater. I only called Whipple for an initial diagnostic, but their quick response, professionalism and genuine sense of care makes me sure I’ll call them for future services.

Great customer service! They came out fast, so I didnt have to wait weeks to get stuff fixed. I understood everything he was doing and why, because he explained everything as he went. He gave me many options to save money.
Austin arrived at my house as the last appointment of the day. He still took the time to walk through everything on my A/C and heater. I called for regular maintenance since we have had such a hot summer.He explained what repairs I may foresee in the future since my unit is 25 years old. He even took the time to add some salt to my water softener while he was here. Thank you for hiring such a personable young man.
Keep your guard up. These people prey on the elderly and upsell them services and things they wont need. My grandma called to have a tech to come in and change a faucet that she had purchased from Home Depot on her kitchen sink. Their tech came into my grandmas home and told us that her BRAND NEW (put in the previous month) and ELECTRIC water heater was going to explode if she didnt replace it. I told her shed been lied to, but the tech came back when I wasnt there and convinced her otherwise. They also convinced her that she needed new lines run into her home and redundant safety equipment installed, even though she already had this safety equipment installed with the new water heater. in addition to already having new safety equipment. Then they charged her $12,000 for the work.When I came back and learned she had allowed the work to be done, I was blown away at what I found. I demanded another tech show up, and I admit, I was not friendly about my grandma being taken advantage of. The new tech tried arguing at first, making the same arguments as the previous tech until I pointed out that the previous heater was electric and new and then showed him the redundant safety parts. By the time he left, he was so angry and humiliated that his face was red. They said they would send the previous tech out to fix the mistake. They never did. AND my grandma still had to pay an additional $250 to have a new faucet installed that she had purchased independently of Whipple.And then they tried doing the exact same thing with my other grandma, and we shut that garbage down really fast!If you dont know anything about water and heating, this company is well-trained to expose that and bleed you of every dollar they can get whether you need the work or not.
Clinton was incredibly helpful when he came and did my mom’s yearly AC check. He answered all of her questions, was very kind, and he even helped her move a little mini fridge into her car - which was above and beyond what his job was. We are very impressed with his level of service and will be using Whipple again in the future. Clinton is definitely an asset to your company! Our air conditioner stopped on Wednesday and within 24 hours Whipple had their technician at our home. Austin was excellent. He assessed the problem very quickly and had the parts we needed with him.. He was very informative, courteous, and professional. Our AC is running perfectly now. We have used Whipple for many years and will continue to do so. We have recommended them to many friends and family members..
James, the electrician showed up on time and was very professional. He took care of my electrical issue right away and then went throughout the house and checked for any other electrical issues. He found some outlets that were not up to code and one that was close to causing an issue. He gave me options on what i could do and gave me a price before doing any work. He explained everything to me thoroughly and made sure i understood. He was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable, like youd feel If you just had a family friend over helping you out. He did a great job! He answered all my questions, and made sure i understood what he was telling me. He even goes above and beyond...I mentioned the little wooden well that my son made for my yard, for Mothers Day and how its heavy so i cant move it to the backyard where i wanted it, and he offered to go move it for me. He is really a nice guy and did a professional job on everything he did. I would give him more than 5 stars if i could. I will definitely be a repeat customer!!! Thanks so much James 😊👍
First and foremost I hope that this post finds its way to the owners of Whipple Service Champions. My review may be somewhat lengthy however these folks deserve every bit of credit that I can give them. I am a 80 year old widower in a home that is 25 years old. As you can imagine my central air conditioner decided to retire early four days ago. OK, now we are looking at 100 degree temperatures with someone who has marginal health. Enter the next decision. Who to call.I will admit Whipple was not my first call. After explaining my problem here are my replies: Company #1 We will not be able to get to you for 8 days. Company#2 We will not be able to even assess the problem for 4 days, then will try to schedule you in sometime in the next 7-10 days. Then a call to Whipple Service Champions. As close as I can recall this was the exact response: Office Personnel: I am so sorry that you are having problems, I will get right on it. 5 minutes later. I have someone that will be there at 8:00 Pm this evening to evaluate and see what the problem is. 6:00 Pm Text from Technician Austin. I am finishing a job early and will be there in 20 minutes. 6:15 PM arrives early and does a preliminary repair to at least get air moving. 7:30 PM James, Field Service Supervisor arrives. All of us agree what needs to be taken care of. Work was completed before the time estimate and (unknown to me), my family had spoken to Installers Jacob and his crew who told them there was a surprise birthday party for me in two days with family coming from Missouri, Arizona, New Mexico, and Idaho. Many would be staying overnight at the house. The crew worked 7 hours on a Saturday to complete the replacement.Now for the review. I have seen professionalism in my 60 years of working, and these folks rank among the top. Their attention to detail, explaining what needed to be done, their knowledge, courtesy, cleanliness and compassion were the best. So here I are, 50 people who enjoyed a COOL wonderful surprise birthday party for me. Many, Many Thanks to Whipple Office Staff, Technicians, Supervisors and Owners of the Company.Jack Peck.

Service is decent, prices are OK(ish), but keep your guard up - all service technicians are trained to up sell you at every opportunity. Some crews are OK at cleaning up after their work, others... not so much. 2.5 out of 5 stars.
When your AC goes out and its a hot day, you cant help but feel unlucky. But when you are lying in bed that same evening feeling cool as a cucumber, you feel very appreciative. Whipple Service Champions is consistently professional, informative, honest, and competitive. While I dont wish HVAC replacement on my worst enemies, Im sure glad that while was able to help on the same day!
My first experience with Whipple was great. Kudos to HVAC technicians Doug and Tim for fixing my AC problems effectively and in a timely manner.I recently purchased a home. As the temperatures started to warm up, I noticed my air conditioner wasnt blowing cold air. I called Whipple and although they were very busy, they were able to get a technician out in a reasonable amount of time. Doug diagnosed my system and determined there was no refrigerant, meaning there was probably a leak. He injected a special dye into the system and found a leak in the evaporator coils.It was looking like my best option was to replace the coil unit, but Doug ended up coming back with senior technician Tim, and they were able to repair the coil without needing to replace the entire unit. My AC works well now, and their combined expertise saved me some money.Very happy overall.

Got a flyer in the mail for a service we needed at a good price. Called and set it up. The day came and I got a call that they were too busy and needed to reschedule. I get that sometimes this could be an issue, but I was strung along like this two more times until it became apparent they were never going to make it out to do the service they advertised to me via a mailer. They offered a $10 discount for my trouble when they asked to reschedule a fourth time. I kindly told them no thanks. I prefer a company that actually keeps its commitments.
We needed to have all of our electrical outlets and switches checked. James was the technician who came out, installed a new ceiling fan and then did the house inspection. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He replaced the outlets and switches that were required and was on time, worked consistently, cleaned up after himself and was over all very pleasant. I highly recommend Whipple.
I have had FOUR appointments lined up with this company starting in June 2021. I rearranged my schedule to be at my house for each appointment, even missing a family event, and was cancelled on each time. Now it is August 2021and once again I was cancelled on. How can they stay in business with such poor business practices! I WOULD NOT recommend

To be honest, the first technician that came out was not the best and didn’t really seem to care about fixing the problem - more about just having us buy their financing plan etc. BUT the second tech James came out was determined to fix the problem and make us happy! After he had figured out the problem & fixed the AC unit…he turned around and came back to apologize to us and make sure we were satisfied. We SO appreciate the extra time he took and the extra effort he made to make everything awesome again.
Absolutely awesome service. Both Justin and Jamal came to install an AC unit in our home. They arrived on time and were very professional and knowledgable about the product. They (along with Tim the electrician) informed me about what they were doing throughout the process, made sure everything was working correctly after installation, and also answered any/all questions I had. Overall great experience.
I called on a Wednesday and they asked if Id be available for a plumbing service on Friday. I scheduled and they told me theyd call with a service window. When I hadnt heard from them about my Friday time by 5 pm on Thursday I phoned and they told me they call in the AM. I explained I needed a window because I had several important things to take care of. They explained again theyd call in the AM. An hour or so later I received a text asking me to confirm my Friday appointment. I replied with the requested C and received a response that my appointment was confirmed. At 1pm I hadnt heard from them and I was really fairly irritated because my morning was wasted and obviously theyd be there in the afternoon. My phone rang at 1:30 pm announcing they wouldnt be coming out today. I will never do business with them. My time is as valuable as theirs and maybe even more so. If youre not coming for a confirmed appointment you let people know in the morning, not at 1:30 in the afternoon.
All workers that came were all incredible, nice, and professional. However it took 3 days to get a diagnosis that I was then told they could not handle or quote. Had to cancel a work trip to be available for the appointment after it wasn’t resolved.My Rooftop AC compressor failed on my 12 year old AC so was ready to talk replacement options. Back to square one to find someone capable of quoting this project. 2 weeks now no AC in unit.
I had an emergency at my home with a baby with cancer and our AC stopped working with temperatures well over 100 degrees. I called a few companies and they were all out 7-10 days before they could come. Whipple was just as busy, but when they understood my situation, they came that same day. Bill was professional, timely, knowledgeable and honest. We had cool air by the following morning. I’d recommend them unequivocally.
I’ve used Whipple multiple times and each time they have been fantastic. They are always on time, super respectful of your time and money, and always explain everything in detail. 100% would recommend to anyone and they always beat everyones pricing quite significantly.
Our AC unit randomly stopped working last night, which was really bad timing given the heat of the summer and I have a 5 day old baby. Babies can’t regulate their temperature very well, so I was very worried about that and it was essential we found someone to come today. We called everywhere and everyone said they either couldn’t come until next week, or they didn’t service the type of AC unit we had. Thankfully, Whipple came to our rescue and was able to get here by 1 pm, and although they weren’t super familiar with our AC unit, they said they were up for the challenge, and spent the time to figure it out, promising they would only charge us if they found the solution. Thankfully they were able to find and fix the problem, all while having an amazing attitude and great professionalism. To top it off, they charged us less than half of what other companies quoted us. To say we were impressed is an understatement, and they have earned our business for life! Thank you again Derek and Alex!

Do not sign up for their monthly preventative service plan. They are completely focused on reactive issues, and after scheduling and being canceled on 5× for preventative maintenance to my HVAC, they refused to give me a refund.I did utilize one of their preventative service offerings, and they said that more than makes up for the plan fee. What they fail to understand is that I was not able to utilize the other preventative maintenance is that are promised and I paid for, and in fact would be canceled on over and over and over.Very bad customer service, would not recommend unless you have something that is immediately broken (think furnace or plumbing leak) and needs to be fixed as that is where their priority lies. Preventative stuff is a bait and switch.

Jake came out and took a look at the system he identified the problem quickly and got about fixing it he did a very thorough examination of the entire system. He also set my expectations as to what to expect for the remainder of the systems life and provided some options down the road to consider. I found Jake to be extremely helpful and his knowledge of HVAC systems extensive. I definitely plan on using Whipple again, I didnt go with the membership program this time around but I might pick it up next time it seems like it had some value to it.

Everyone I spoke to from the scheduler to the technician at Whipple were friendly, helpful, and made me feel very comfortable with the process. It was easy and quick to schedule. The technician was able to come out earlier than planned and then completed the entire water heater installation that same day. He explained the options thoroughly and was informative, but not pushy. He was very respectful of our home and wore gloves, a mask, and booties the whole time. He was efficient and cleaned up the space he had been working in. Our utility room was cleaner when he left than when he arrived. Great experience overall.
Ryan and Marco came to our house to unclog an outside drain and they were very informative, answered all of my questions, and were upfront about pricing. The duo were very friendly and well matched. They unclogged the drain quickly and gave me information on what to look for should another issue arise. The work they did on the drain is also warrantied for 30 days. I would absolutely use Whipple again.

A Club electrical inspection is a great way to monitor the current status of our home.We appreciate our Club membership for our plumbing, and HVAC needs too!
I have used this business before and their work quality and prices are decent. The low rating is entirely related to their reliability. When I made the appointment on the phone, they told me that they would arrive between 12 pm and 4pm. They cancelled my appointment when I didnt answer a text at 10:17 a.m. stating that I needed to respond in 15 minutes. I wasnt able to respond for 30 minutes, so they claimed they couldnt come until the next day. If you have time to stay home all day and can watch for a text, their service is fine. If you have a job, take showers, or are otherwise unable to watch you phone without interruption, get someone else!
The two service persons were on time, competent, fast and very nice to deal with. They diagnosed the problems, cleared clogged drains and disposal and determined the toilet was not serviceable. And best of all they had a replacement toilet on their truck to install. I am a club member and the work was done at my wifes brothers apartment. The work these two men did and how they handled it just reinforced how pleased I am with the Whipple service we always get.Clark Smith
Please do no use Whipple Service Champions - your experience might end up like mine.I needed 2 estimates for electrical and gas plumbing (approx $10,000)1. I could not get an estimate time for 2 weeks.2. They would not provide a narrower window than 8-5 on the day for the estimates.3. On the day of the scheduled estimates, they called at 3:30 to say that even though I had been waiting for 2 weeks, they were too busy and would not make it today, but they were willing to schedule me in 1-2 weeks out.I cannot speak to the quality of their work, but if their work is like their planning and customer service, then stay away.
The lady that took my phone call deserves 5 stars. However, we were told someone would arrive between 8:30 and 9 am. The guy who finally showed up at noon was interesting to say the least. He did provide some options but not really the expert I was expecting. The diagnostic was inexpensive so I guess it was OK.

They were available quickly, diagnosed the problem and explained to me week what needed to be done. The repair was done well with friendly service. However they were really expensive. $800 for a relatively simple repair which took about an hour.REVISION: Whipple was very responsive to my concern about the price and worked with me to reduce it to something more reasonable. Given their responsiveness and eagerness to work with me, I will probably use them again.

Whipple did a relining of our sewer drain that is cast iron. They knocked off the rust bumps and the applied 5 layers of epoxy to coat the inside of the pipe. Saved us from having the basement floor jackhammered. Original estimate was two days, they were able to complete in one. Great work.

I am so disappointed with Whipple, especially having someone close to me work for this company. I confirmed my appt for a repair the day before but they didnt send out the technician. I had to reschedule and have been waiting 5 days for them to respond to a leak that have been damaging my living room. We had to completely stop using the sink. They put me on standby in case a technician became available, though no one ever did. Now they called today to say the earliest time I can get is a week and a half from now! Whats the point of an appointment? Sad to say they lost a loyal customer
Trent arrived and went to work quickly and efficiently. He not only was able to clear the drain but also inspected the pipe exterior and interior to ensure no damages or blockages. Very pleased with the precautions he took to ensure cleanliness of the area and for COVID concerns as well.James Buskirk also arrived on site following Trent’s visit. James conducted a thorough inspection of the electrical/wiring throughout the house. It’s an older home, and his patience with our many questions and ability to explain things clearly, was extremely beneficial. He provided some recommendations along with four options on the cost to implement. This was also very helpful as we develop our plans to move forward.We are very impressed with the technicians and Whipple.
It was to cold to accurately troubleshoot the AC system so they eliminated what they could with out being able to activate the system. This was because it was colder outside than inside. It snowed that day. Jordon just said next time you turn it on and if it does it again, (which by the way is nothing absolutely nothing), call me and I’ll come right back out and figure out what’s wrong. So for now I wait for our crazy UT weather to warm up, and then maybe I can call Jordon back out to fix something, and then I’ll even have a bill to pay.Well Its been some three weeks now and my story continues to go forward. Whipple has been great so far. make no mistake I would recommend them to anyone that ask. To get you caught up sense my last post. I purchased their Best system, expensive system and they came out the very next day and installed it. Well, before it had been running for 2hr it broke down just like the last furnace, Whipple came out with in a couple of hours and diagnosed it as a bad circuit board. and they got It up and running by the end of the following day.I Spent that night with my gas fire places going and we stayed warm all night long, so no biggie. I told my friend and Salesman I didnt want this furnace I wanted a new one. He said he would see what he could do. When he returned the following morning his response to me was that he told his supervisor what had happen with the furnace. And He was told before he ever asked for a new one. he said. Just replace it, Just replace it My friend then said to me this is why I love working for this company.My problem is, Im told due to COVID-19 they have to wait to get another new furnace in stock before they can install it. So my story continues but so far Whipple seems to be the service champions. I HOPE?

I tried to use their services. I had something go wrong with my electrical panel and lost all power to my house today. I called and requested an electrician. The person took my information and said someone will call me back to schedule. An hour later I called the main number and the person said they would put it in the system again and if I didnt get a call from the tech in 15 minutes I should call the main number again. I never received a call from the tech and went with a competitor that actually responded.
James came gave me a quote and then went above and beyond. He was amazing and very thorough, he actually did more than was needed. And made sure everything was perfect.
I needed an immediate check on my furnace. I received prompt service. The service went beyond what I have received in the past from other services. One service claimed I needed a $20,000 replacement. Whipple service discovered nothing wrong with the furnace. Whipple will now see me as a new customer and member.The technician Jimmy Jones went over all of my concerns and did so much more than I expected. He was on time and asked if I had any additional concerns. I recommend him highly. He gave me five star service.

Thanks for being responsive and professional!Original Review:I paid them for them to tell me there’s standing water in my pipes and to leave the problem as it was.After they were finished “cleaning” (they left gunk all over my floor and wall where the tools were), they told me there was a backup, that it was slowly draining, BUT they couldn’t/wouldn’t clear it out. When asked for recommendations of what to do next due to 0 resolution, there was no other suggestions besides purchasing an additional chemical that i could apply on my own, that was going to raise the price $90-$100 more and isn’t immediate. Yeah sure, why don’t i pay YOU more money to basically solve my own problems while still leaving my drains backed up and kitchen semi out-of-order.Seriously, Don’t use whipple. You pay money for them to point out the obvious and skip out at quitting time. Yikes.

I am one who likes to figure out the root cause of an issue, yet I have an older home with some impressive old school plumbing. I couldnt unclog my 71 year old shower drain. Curtis and the other gentlemen (sorry cant remember his name) both were very helpful throughout the whole process and were happy to answer any questions I had. I expected I was going to have to pay alot to get any issues fixed but after they inspected our house they found I only needed to spend a fraction to get everything up to code. I ended up buying a membership with them that covers me for a year and gave me a bunch of extra perks, definitely will use them in the future and would recommend them to anyone in need of their service.
Our technician, Brian Parker did a fantastic job and was so quick and efficient. Our main bathroom was leaking, turns out from 3 areas (both hot and cold water supply hoses and the P-trap). He was able to access the job, gave us a quote and finished the job in less than an hour! Highly recommend Brian with Whipple for a fast and competent job well done. Thank you!!

Though it took him awhile to get here, and the water continued to come into the house while we waited, once he arrived he found the problem quickly, shut off the main, scouted what he would need to do in the morning, and gave us some helpful advice re disaster cleanup help. The next morning he was here early and worked with amazing accuracy and speed. We had water (and a secure line) again by mid afternoon. He was courteous and informative all the time he was here. The site of the repair was all cleaned up when he left. He made sure we understood costs and responsibilities both before he did the work and after. It will take a few days for the downstairs to dry out, but we are very satisfied with Jose’s service. He deserves a bonus for coming after hours and on the weekend for sure! Thank you Jose!
Dont bother trying to get a quote from this company. They have just a receptionist answering the phone and directing you else where. Tried multiple times to just get an estimate appointment and after 3 business days, I still have yet to get a call back. Gave 2 stars cause the receptionist was nice and tried her best to get a hold of someone in scheduling. All other places I called first try could give an estimate appointment. Also funny i posted a review on yelp, 15 minutes later got a comment already, but takes days for a call back that I still never got.
Todd did an amazing job installing an outlet in our garage for our new electric vehicle. He was super friendly, straight forward, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He is definitely an expert in the field. We had such an amazing experience with Whipple and would absolutely recommend them. We will be using them for our electrical needs in the future!
I am BEYOND disappointed with this company. They were decent (in the beginning) when they installed the furnaces and the AC but when it came to coming back to charge the AC once warmer weather came, TERRIBLE. They were supposed to come last Friday (6/4), no response, and late at 6:30PM they said they weren’t going to come And wanted to reschedule for JULY!! June had just started! We convinced them to come Tuesday and STILL, NOTHING. This is getting ridiculous. All we need them to do is charge the AC. I don’t know why their communication is so terrible and unreliable!
From the office to the technician, they were prompt, responsive and professional. Would highly recommend their services and club membership.
Very satisfied with the electrician that Whipple has sent out to our home very professional and thorough job. Kept me and my wife updated throughout the day on the work being done. Didn’t think he was going to be able to get it done in one day and yet was able to get it done and stayed late to make sure we had power. I will recommend Whipple to everyone.

Called for Electrical Service and Tech James Buskirk replaced my bad breaker. He was on time and very knowledgeable in his trade. I was done and on my way to work, however, the issue did not end there. There was a bigger problem and I contacted Whipple that same day and they assured me they could get a Tech out the next day. Tech James did come out the very next day. and replaced all the bad plugs that were affected and got me up to code with GFCI plugs. Whipple was very accommodating with my budget and was able to provide great service I could afford. I was very pleased with the service I received and will definitely be contacting Whipple for future issues.
I called whipped after hours service on a Saturday as I was having a plumbing emergency: they informed me that they were dispatching a technician, I waited an hour, after nobody called me back, I called back their dispatch and they informed me that some one would call me back, i hung up and called another company. That other company came out and helped me with my emergency. The problem with a whipple is they never once called me back and they never once sent out a technician. So happy I didn’t wait for them but I wouldn’t use them based on this level of service in the future.
First time using Whipple Service and I am so happy with the quality, service and value! The technician, Jose B. was amazing! I am so impressed with Joses friendliness, knowledge and professionalism. And he kept everything spotless! He replaced an old toilet, found the source of a leak and replaced/upgraded my old leaky water main valve. I have more plumbing work coming up soon with remodeling and I will definitely call and request Jose. I really appreciated how throughough he was in explaining everything and especially that he was not pushy. I would definitely use Whipple Service again for other maintenance and repair needs.
I was really impressed with this company. The office that called me was very professional. They took note of everything I discussed, never had to repeat myself or explain over again to the technician. They always kept me up to date of when they could have someone come out. It was great on how early someone was able come out. Was impressed with the text messages I received from Bryan Yates. He keep me updated and even sent me a link to be able to track his exact location. Bryan was friendly and executed what was wrong quickly but also was very thorough. He even had the parts on him that needed replaced. He showed and explained everything he did and replaced, and everything was clear and made since. They also guarantee their work.This is a great company, thank you guys!DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. Best HVAC company I have ever dealt with.
We had Whipple come an install a new tankless water heater for us about 3 weeks ago and the gas line size wasnt right to code. The servicman said hed come back and change it out for the right one which he did about a week and a half later. Ever since then we have smelled gas and have called to let them know and ask that someone come out and make the needed repairs but no one has come. They have not made this a life threatening issue a priority! I called again just now to ask why they havent sent someone and Jada (young woman answering phones) just said they dont have enough people to come check that. THIS IS AN EMERGENCYTHAT THEY CREATED. If they were an upstanding business at all they would get someone out here to fix it. I am outraged that they think its okay to make a family with 5 children 6 and under wait in a dangerous situation like this. If something were to happen we would hold them responsible....The above review was written yesterday.After having to practically throw a fit on the phone and educate Whipple on why a gas leak is a priority, Whipple sent out a technician this morning who fixed the leak. I had requested a manager to call me today and they explained that they will be training their people better to know that a gas leak should be a priority. I asked that they offer some kind of compensation and show of good will moving forward and Dina, the manager, said they best they could offer would be 2 months of their Whipple Club free. We have that service and it is $20/month. So basically the best they can do is give me $40 for the inconvenience. It was not merely an inconvenience to have my basement full of gas that could have killed one or all of us if I hadnt noticed it. It is not an inconvenience that my home could have exploded if the fumes caught a spark. It is not an inconvenience that my 5 kids either had no baths or cold crying ones during the last 2 weeks. It is not an inconvenience that I didnt have hot water to wash my dishes! Whipple is responsible for each of these potential and real consequences of their bad business and they can only offer us $40. Im sorry but that is pathetic. How about a year of their service no charge? Something significant that shows they understand the gravity of what happened and could have happened here. So very disappointed...
Water heater broke on a Sunday (of course 😡). My regular plumber was already busy the next day on Monday. Called Whipple. They answered the phone on the second ring. They said “of course we can help you today”. Scheduled an appointment between 12 and 4 pm. Then I got a text with my appointment info. So far so good. Just 30 minutes later they called to say they had a technician suddenly available and would it be okay if he was there in 30 minutes? Um, yeah I got no hot water! 😃 Then I got another text with a confirmation that showed the location of my technician, his name, when he joined Whipple and even his photo. Gotta say, that’s impressive. He arrived and within 3 hours, he had taken the old heater out, installed a new water heater with a better 10 year parts and labor warranty, installed an expansion tank, cleaned up (spotless I might add) and even laid our wet towels out to dry. I’m a pretty harsh critique so believe me when I say, Wow! Very responsive, great quality and amazing service. They knocked it out of the park for me. Great job!
Had Whipple out to install a new furnace and A/C and couldnt be happier. The installers were friendly and skilled. They had to troubleshoot my new furnace to fit into a teeny tiny closet and figured it out without a problem. My house was spotless when they left and will be using Whipple again in the future. Very excited for my AC upgrade this summer!
My mother had a membership 20$ a month for years. She called today to ask if someone would come change the air filter, she did not know how. When she called the lady she spoke to was very rude, and said they left filters she should have been doing it on her own. I called back a second time, was on hold, opted for a call back, got it but was still on hold, after about five minutes of hold time I was hung up on.I don’t feel that telling anyone paying membership fees should be told, Do it yourself, figure it out, when they ask for help.
I would not recommend Whipple at all. I had problems with their scheduling, they wanted to keep rescheduling and then when they finally did show up they told me how my mother board on my furnace was fried and I need a $10,000 new AC unit and furnace. Thank goodness I got a second opinion. A new person came in and my furnace is just fine and he had my air conditioning fixed and working for $60. So disappointing that all they care about is the sale.
1) Trying to install a garbage disposal, 2) told them there wasn’t one in the sink so we’d need the full treatment (plumber AND electrician), 3) they rescheduled at the last second of our appt for a whole nother week (which I get, stuff happens), 4) the day of the final appt the tech is 3 HOURS LATE and we can’t get ahold of anybody until somebody decides to finally reroute another tech only for 5) the guy to take a look and say he can’t do anything cause it needs electrical work WHICH WE SPECIFIED IN THE FIRST PLACE BUT APPARENTLY THEY FORGOT ABOUT… yeah, a little more than annoyed. Used at your own risk
Seriously the BEST service! My house is almost 80 years old, and still had the original drain stack and plumbing in my main bathroom, including a drum trap. Jeff, Daniel and Ryan did such a fantastic job! I honestly felt so well taken care of. They explained everything to us, they were so professional and polite! I honestly cannot say enough about how happy I am!
Frank and Brian are quite the team! They came each day prepared to work and worked hard! They were thorough and professional every step of their process. The work performed was high quality and they conducted themselves politely and professionally. I felt safe having them in my home. I felt like Whipple was dishonest about their pricing. Before technician was dispatched I was told that the their would be a holiday surcharge of $69 + $55 to clear the main line. Tech showed up and discovered he needed to remove basement toilet. Ran auger through the line and cleared obstruction. I was told that the service would now be $600!!! Tech was at my house for 45 mins. I told the tech that $600 was unreasonable for an hour’s work. He said they don’t charge by the hour but by each service performed. Tech told me that I would need to take the discrepancy up with the dispatch supervisor. I called and was told they would escalate my concern. I asked how I was supposed to proceed with payment with the tech and they told me that I would have to take that up with the tech. So I was left in the middle with no resolution. Tech said he could apply some coupons and for the price down to $500 but still way too high for a simple job that took less than an hour. I would have understood paying an additional $50 to remove the toilet. But an additional $400 just doesn’t seem right. Very dishonest in my opinion.Update*** Whipples Service Manager called me back and said that I was charged incorrectly. They were able to go back and listen to my original call to the dispatcher. They honored the agreed upon amount of $69 for holiday surcharge and $55 for the drain clean out. He did say that there would still be a $179.50 for having to remove the downstairs toilet. Seems a little bit high still for less than 1 hours work, but I did appreciate the call back and their willingness to work towards a compromise. The service manager said he would also coach his service tech on how the charges should have been applied.
The Whipple team was attentive and professional from the time I made the appointment to the time that Ken left my home. I appreciated the updates on arrival time via text, and how Ken walked us through his findings. Would not hesitate to use them again.
I had a sewer line backup with standing water in my basement. I called a few other plumbers first, and was told that it would be a week before someone could come look at the problem.I called Whipple, and they were able to have Jeff and Franklin come out within a few hours. They did an amazing job!! They cleared my drain and flushed the line to check for cracks, and called a company to perform the clean-up. They really helped make an unbearable situation better. Customer for life!
Had an incredible experience from start to finish with Whipple Service Champions. I had AC and furnace both needing to be replaced. Chase came and scoped my house for what work needed to be done and helped me understand what I needed and was very personable. I signed that same day for a because they just made it easy to understand what I needed and made arranging financing as close to painless as you can get. I was amazed when we were able to get the system installed the very next day! Justin and Jamal came out to completely rip out my old HVAC system and install a new one all in about 5 hours. They were quick, efficient, and overall just great guys to work with as they made sure from start to finish that I knew what was happening and assured me that I was in good hands. They walked me through before and after and made sure I educated and understood every part of my new system. Ultimately, the reason I chose and recommend to go with Whipple is because of the top-notch experience with each person I worked with, the value of my purchase, and their unbeatable warranties. I would recommend them to anyone and plan on using them for all of my future HVAC needs.
We had a small elbow pipe that needed to be replaced and clamped with a metal ring. They wanted $660.00 to replace it!!!! When we asked WHY it was so expensive they said the money pays for their trucks, gas, time, labor and parts.We went to Lows, paid $126.00 for the tool and parts, then fixed it ourselves, in 35 minutes! It definitely doesn’t cost $544.00 to pay for a one time use of their truck, gas, labor and time!! Feeling totally ripped off!!😢
