I’m not surprised by the poor reviews.Not only are their plans absolutely useless for anyone who actually intends to use their internet, the woman who was helping us hung up when my children began making noise in the background. No warning, just click. Something tells me this company won’t last very long with representatives who lack basic customer service etiquette when communicating with a family that *gasp* has kids!? Oh my! How unique of a situation to have to deal with! *sarcasm*
I have tried my best to stick with this company but I just cant do it anymore. The internet is constantly out. Friendly people but awful internet. They should definitely offer discounts as much as the internet is out.
Worst wifi in new mexico
So I can pay 54.95 for a measly 10 mbps internet or I can pay 60 bucks a month for t-mobile home internet and get over 80 mbps unlimited and I live past the Navajo refinery in Artesia kinda far from the tower.
You have to buy your own router and the technician seems a lil laid back but we got exactly what we paid for if internet out it takes usually less than an hour to come back.
I pay for 10mb and get 0.22 mb internet is the worst I seen in Roswell and rude front desk
This company cares nothing about there clients . The service they have cannot provide 10mg . Its a lie just to get customer to up there plan so they can get more money. And mind you if you lose service they will never respond and its not going to get fixed on weekends. They have lied to customers for sometime now. There still collecting money even though they have sold there company so if your service are getting worse they really dont care . Be aware people find a different service provider . This company should be reported to bba. For falsely claiming something they cannot provide.
My roommate is thier landscaper and as well as the owner and his son residence landscaper we both know the family very well and very much respected
The WORST internet provider there is. If we weren’t in such a rural area and had more options we would not use them. Every week at least once the service goes completely down. Poor customer service and terrible internet service.
The service is very intermittent at best. I have 2 10 mgbs lines of service from here and neither one get above 2-3 mbps on a good day. Over $100 a month I pay and they cant even keep me connected to search Google. Im beginning to think Hughes Net would be a better suit.

This is absolutely the worst internet service I have ever received. Just like most people on here are already saying, it maybe works 50 percent of the time. When it does its never at the speeds that you pay for. Half the time I have to go to a friends house to use their internet or to the public library. If you are signing a contract expecting reliable consistent service DONT.
Internet is constantly out. Tired of having to call this company about outages. They really should take charges off customer bills when service is down. I do not recommend this internet provider if you want reliable service. On a positive note, the staff is extremely nice
Service is very bad . If you loose service on friday dont expect internet until monday. They have there answering service lie and say there fixing it when they know there going to fix it until monday. They over charge you and never want to credit you for your service being out. There no such thing as good customer service here . As long as they are recieving money they will continue to Falsify there internet. You will never have 10 megabits of service . Its a plan that sounds good just to get you to upgrade your plan. I feel sorry for the people that work for the company.. Dont get the service your better off using hotspot or walmart internet prepaid services.
Daniel helped me troubleshoot my router since my internet was being super slow! Very helpful! They answer all my questions and are all the sweetest! :) i highly recommend!

Spotty service at best. Pay for an internet speed that we never see. When we call about it, they blame Cannon Air Force Base. Even if that is true, why are they claiming speeds that they cant show.
Bill, John and his install team provides superior service, and would recommend Southwestern Wireless over the local cable company.
I came here to enlighten my day cause the comments are just to funny but if you could go with anything other than this service my grandpas Nokia phone could give better hotspot than this internet provider can
The only reason I have them is I live in East Grand Plains and there is nothing else available there. If you can get literally ANYTHING else, do it. Their front desk associates are always nice and try their best to work with you, but their billing model is an absolute nightmare and they cut off internet for non-payment ( the amount you pay based on the invoice isnt the true amount you owe, apparently there is this elusive other bill that, even though they have your email on file to send the invoice, somehow doesnt get sent to you) on FRIDAYS AT 4PM- which means no internet until Monday unless you can last minute reach them before they close at 5.
This review is based on my experiences with this company with their Wireless Internet Service.I have had their service for the past 2 years and 7 months. The first year and a half or so the service would of gotten 5 starts. This past year the service has gone down hill. Constant interruptions in service, when you call they say nothing is wrong.We tried to upgrade to a higher bandwidth and it has been 6 months with no one ever showing up. The first missed appointment they made was due to weather, the 2nd there was no reason why they did not show up. We never called back after that cause we where annoyed that they would not even come out to upgrade us, that meant more money for them every month.Service when we call for their 24/7 tech support never calls us back after they say the will. Terrible customer service. Stay away from them and look elsewhere, I would almost pick satellite service over them now. Satellite service is horrible but at least it was consistent.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. This company overcharges for trivial Internet speeds 5 Megs for $80 Bucks, really!!!! Then you get 2-3 Megs when in works. Mostly down stay away if all possible!!! And if you want to cancel because the service is unusable they try and charge you a fee because they work with contracts. What a joke. HAD service in El Paso.
Service in Capitan is very intermittent. Not worth the price! Cant run my iPad and Amazon at same time. Nothing will load in! Worst provider ever!!! Only choice here so they act like it!
These guys work hard to provide internet where no body else gives a darn. They go the extra mile to get the service and risk their lives on iced up towers and on mountains with no roads. They have kept me going and been very kind to provide me with service where no other company would give me the time of day. Those who complain should try satelite and see how that bill suits them. We are rural and the price we pay is doing without city internet which also has problems . Ive been there. Cable and DSL Charge for excess data used. How disapointing it is to see ungrateful folks in the boonies complain about this rural provider. They dont have to provide in these rural areas, there is no profit in it, they are just kind enough to do it. Thank you Soutwestern Wireless.
I do not have access to any hardwired internet and have tried 2 wireless companies and this one is the best by 10x. I have experienced some problems but considering the alternative I would recommend this company 100%. Technical service is a little light but considering this is a local company I am happy with them.
Very bad service, after the first month you start having problems, really low speeds and no connection. They come out to fix it and works for 2-3 days and goes back to no connection or slow speed. Do not recommend!

If I could give negative stars I would! This company provides spotty internet service at best, and takes them forever to get a service man to fix any type of problem, even when it was their fault for not setting you up to the right satellite. The customer service staff has a ton of attitude and are terribly rude. Do NOT use this provider!!!!!!
Rarely loose service and the two minor issues In have had in 4 years were quickly resolved with great customer service!
So sick of the slow speeds and no connection. Cant do my work from the house 90% of time. Wish I could get out of my contract without having to pay $190.00! Would not recommend this internet to anyone!
Its good when its on, but it works like it should 50% of the time. They always like to screw it up Friday afternoon so it doesnt work on the weekend.

Intermittent signal all the time. Staff are nice and overworked. Horrible speeds, 10mbs or less. Find someone else if you can.

I think this company has a very poor policy of overcharging long term customers. I had been a customer for 3 years during which they reduced their rates by $25/ month on the plan I had, but would not honor the new price without a new 2 year contract. Very dissatisfied!
