Downright the best place to get your haircut in Newnan. Masks are not required during the haircut thank god, and the barbers are personable and social. The hot rag and neck shave service is relaxing and screams professionalism and quality. They are open on Sundays, and as long as you can get yourself in early, the quality cut you get is always worth the wait. This business is old-school and does things right. Shout out to their music playlist as well, makes me feel right at home.

I work in Newnan so it makes it easy to visit this place after work. This place has a very relaxing atmosphere and very friendly staff. They can get a little busy, as they were today during my visit, but were able to squeeze me in to there schedule. I think my stylists name was Rebecca and she did an amazing job. I love the hot towels used and the straight shave. This was my second visit and I will definitely be a regular customer here. Absolutely amazing place

Friendly people work here, and my haircut is always excellent. Quanda is who I usually see here, and she always does a fantastic job. Other places that do the back of the neck shave have almost always razor burned my neck, but Quanda has never done that, and Ive been coming here for years now. Plus, the hot shave they do is way better than just a regular clipper shave.

The hair stylists here are amazing all of them do great work. and the receptionist is usually really sweet and great as well. prices are reasonable. and Ive seen the owner in the store a few times. which shows they care.the reasoning for my star review is because I called to setup an appointment today on Friday and they didnt have any appointments available for today which is understandable no problem there I should of called sooner. then I was told they were still accepting walk ins and I could just show up I was like awesome! so I came in and expected to wait awhile no problem there either. but after I came in I signed in and sat down to wait. 10 to 20 mins went by and I get called. after I told them what I wanted I was told oh no we cant take you today.mind you I arrived at 320pm and they close at 6pmtime is Important and I dont like having it wasted.

Please update your hours, if you close at 3 and you stop walk ins at 2:30. Then change your close time to 2:30. This would save a guy of the hassle of driving 25 min across town to make it by 2:35 only to get turned away. Then tell your employees there shift ends @3. Not cool

I grew up in SE Atlanta and rocked a skint fade for most of my teenage and young adult yrs.. When I moved myself and my son to Newnan a couple yrs ago I was scared to death to let most places cut my head.. Id walk in and ask for a fade, and leave whatever place looking like Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber! 😭😭 No one could cut my hair like I was used to.. Until I found this place. These guys are the butt naked truth when it comes to cutting hair. Ive got my regular barber, but have had my hair cut by a few other ladies if she was busy or off that day, and I still got a tight haircut. If you are military, law enforcement, a career cat, a trap star, a farm hand, truck driver, or just a regular Joe like me, these folk will straighten you up..8 months to 80, blind homeless or crazy, its all good. And they are great with kids and womens hair too! You see the pics I posted were of my son in the barber chair 😀I will say this though: Prices are higher than a Super Cuts or somewhere similar, so only go here if youre serious about your hair. If youre cool with a $10 Flowbee cut then more power to ya, but this place is about serious, professional barber-ology.. so bring your pocketbook & billfold. My advice is, You Get What You Pay For when it comes to hair..Hope this helps someone avoid another jacked up cut from some fancy franchise salon. ✌️&❤️

This is not a review about me but for my Son, Nikki was out so he stopped by to get his hair cut. I suggest that if you go here make sure the Sytlist has experience and or knows what she is doing.Look at the photos and see what a terrible job was done.My Son called me when he left the Barber Shop and mentioned his neck burned, I simply said that it happens sometimes when they shave your neck. Nope not a Shave but a simple Haircut.Had another Barber take a look and he advised that the Barber wasnt keeping his tools oiled and or Blunt Blades etc., its one of the worst cases he has ever seen.If your wondering why not get our cuts with him, friendships can be damaged through work, prefer to keep them separate.

Unfortunately I wasnt about to sit around for an hour and a half. Neither does keeping a place as clean as you can prevent the spread of disease. I could not manage social distancing of 3 feet let alone 6. Its just not acceptable.Also Walmart has been in business longer and that doesnt make them a good place.Original Review:They had a parking lot with ample parking spots available. Which is good. Clustered lots or street parking is a pet peeve of mine. So the location of this facility is goodHowever....I walked in on a Sunday at right about lunch time and the place was packed. I would go as far as to say it was crowded. I dont mean like 1 or 2 people in front of me, I mean what was apparently an hour and half wait. Which defeats the purpose of a walk-in in my opinion.Not only that but half the people there were not wearing masks. So they must not enforce masks. GAs numbers have never been worse and the place is packed and tons of folks arent wearing masks and Im expected to wait an hour and a half? No thanks. This place is a covid death pit.Yes I know you can drive somewhere else to wait but some people including myself dont want to do that.And thus my first and probably only visit was cut short. I decided this wasnt worth it and left.Walk-ins only on the weekend is clearly a disaster for the consumer and I wont be trying this place again.

Sharee has been cutting my hair for as long as I can remember since I’ve been on the south side of town. I haven’t gone to anyone else since I’ve met her because she does such a fantastic job! On top of that, everyone that works here is super friendly and very nice. I highly recommend this place to anyone that wants a high quality hair cut plus a relaxing and joyful barber shop experience. Five stars all day long!!!

Tired of $8 haircuts and playing the guessing game of if your hair is going to look good or not? Try these guys out! I have been going to them now for a good few months and I have had nothing but good experiences. They really are a great group of professionals and take care of anything you need. Nickie was great. She was very knowledgeable, and friendly. She answered all of my questions, and did an excellent job on my beard and head. The straight razor shave with hot towels was nice. Will definitely go back the next time I need a lineup. They also have a lot of hair and beard products available for purchase.

Very nice environment and friendly staff. It was busy when I came in but I did not have to wait long to get a haircut. Overall, extremely convenient and time efficient place for getting a good cut or trim. They know to leave facial hair alone when cutting unlike some salons and the price is right. This place is the best place to get a hair cut!! It doesnt matter if you are a guy after a haircut and shave or a lady needing a new style, this is the place to do it!! They are super amazing and talented at what they do!! It is always busy and you might have to wait for a bit, but it is so worth it!! Great place, but dont bother making an appointment. Place is so busy, they drop your appointment if you are not there within 5 mins of your appointment time. They fail to mention that on the phone. Faster to wait and accept the next available barber.

This shop was previously a 5-star place, and Ive tried to stick with this place. However, after 5 years of coming here, I will most likely not be returning since its been too difficult to get a haircut.I thought I read on the awkward website that no more appointments will be taken after March 1st, and Walk-ins are the backbone of our business. I guess this isnt true since in the past couple weeks I have been turned away two times. They were either short staffed, and/or I didnt have an appointment. In my opinion, denial of service is the wrong solution.Id rather not make an appointment since my schedule is such that Im not sure if I can keep an appointment, and I dont want to be inconsiderate by not showing up. I understand I would probably have to wait a while without an appointment. Also, in the past, Ive made appointments and still had to wait 45 minutes for service.For an unknown reason, the barber I normally see is no longer working here. I was going to try another barber (because damn I need a haircut), but I guess the second time being turned away is a sign that I need to find another shop.

Got there Saturday morning before it was opened and about 6 people were outside waiting good sign got in asked for Jimmy because he can do a awesome flat top all and dayna was great with my son. All the other barbers were busy too, i highly recommend this place they have a customer forever, met the owner he is very cool and checked on everyone when he walked in. Cant speak enough good things about this place, just visit your self and you will. 👀

Always happy with ladies here. Great service, great cuts, and hands down, the best barbershop in the county. Traditional barber style, you can get anything from a trim, to a full shave, and haircut. Send your boys to see them, you wont be disappointed.

This is a solid, locally owned place to get a nice and crisp hair cut. The barbers are professional and know their way around a pair of scissors. The only reason I didn’t give them five stars was the wait. I have been in there five times, and all but once I had to wait 20 minutes and they were t busy at the time. The standard cut is $18 which is $3 more than SuperCuts but it is a local joint and vary superior cuts.

Great barbershop. Ive been going there for over 10 years. I love that they do a straight razor shave on my neck at the end. They use a hot towel, then shaving cream, then shaves it. Plus, great customer service.

My aunt introduced me to this place and Ive been going there ever since. All the people there were nice and professional and didnt try to yank out my hair unlike the people at great clips.

They advertise as being knowledgable in beards. I asked them to sculpt my beard to a short-boxed beard, one of the most basic types of beards. They didnt know what kind of beard this was.They cut the beard fine, but I just wonder how a barber didnt know the name of this extremely common beard type.

Youre lucky you got a 3 dollar tip after being rude and chatting with your coworker about how you couldnt wait to go home. You were noncommunicative and acted like every suggestion I had, about hair on my own head mind you, was annoying. Have had decent experiences in the past but will not be back.

This was my second time going to this barbershop and my complain is not about how good the barbers are because I only got my hair cut at this place once and John is a great barber. I had an appointment for 6:00 PM today . I arrive at 6:06 due to crazy traffic in Newnan. As soon as I got out from my car, there was this lady waiting for me at the door just to tell me they wont be able to cut my hair because they just started taking walks in and I was 6 minutes late. I think they should tell every new customer they rules or at least have them posted somewhere in the barber shop. I got upset because in my 42 years I never had a barber telling they wont cut my hair because I was 6 minutes late.

Theres usually a line... so, be prepared to wait... but quality barbers, great haircuts, worth the wait! A teeny bit pricey, but worth it! Cool place for socializing!

Great service from a selection of barbers. Comfortable facilities. They get slammed on the weekend but you can put your name on the list, leave and return instead of sitting there to wait.

I liked my Barber, Mary is a sweet girl. I was happy with my haircut. Furthermor this was the most expensive cut Ive ever paid for. $35 bucks was my grand total. Thenceforth just thought it was too much thats all.

Went here based on their reviews, I was very disappointed in the hair cut the lady seemed very nervous for a simply cut. I basically ended up with a crooked haircut all the way around my head. I will never return to this establishment as I left as a very unhappy and disappointed customer.

Women were too busy joking around, taking breaks in the back and saying out loud they didn’t want any more customers. Came in at 550pm and at 650pm we still were waiting. Then more customers came in and said they had appointments so now we had to wait for them. I’ve been going to this shop for 10 years and it’s gotten so bad I won’t return. Got too big for your own good.

Ive tried many haircuts places in Newnan, and this one is definitely the best. Id rather drive out here over risking a haircut over supercuts/sportscuts. The service was lovely, there wasnt a long wait, and the cut was quick and precise to what I wanted.

I stumbled upon this place about 3 months ago. I tried several barbers / beauticians and have been very satisfied with Rebecca. She always does a very good job on me and the family.The atmosphere is perfect, you always see smiling faces here and a huge point is the manager is at the shop a lot asking customers how they like their hair afterwards. We plan to keep coming here for years to come.
