If I could give 0 stars I would. The internet is good if it could stay up long enough to get anything done. Always up and then right back down. Techs come out and cant seem to fix the issue. Shouldnt offer customers something you cant provide honestly. Been patient for a month now but same issue day in and day out. Going to a different provider
For someone trying to run a business from home. This is by far the worst internet provider around. Constantly going out when trying to work. Everyday it goes out and comes back in. Ive called them multiple times and the Im sorry to hear that happened is starting to get old. seems like this company just likes to collect a big bag and not actually get their services working correctly. Would not recommend Sparklight to anyone. Avoid the frustration this company will only bring to you.
Very poor internet. Constantly going down at random periods throughout the day and evening even when no maintenance is being done to service. For the price its not worth it.

The technicians that come out and do work in the field, amazing, friendly, and quick. I have the gaming and streaming package for about $140 a month I pay my bill on time and when its working, the wifi is wonderful. But every single day my wifi cuts out. As in it has no service/data. Everyday for at least 2 hours straight. Itll work fine for about 10 minutes, then cuts off for about 20.. I want to know why Im paying so dam much andy internet doesnt even work properly. Deeply unsatisfied. seriously thinking about switching to a different provider. As a Matter of fact Ive had to retry posting this review 3 times because its doing it right as I type this.
Our Technician Richard was very good and explained as he installed our internet and cable. The channels are clear and internet is good. I do have a problem as it appears they have double billed my account via internet. I am waiting for an explanation via email.
Well I dont think one time Ive got the upload speed or download speed that is advertised for the package that I pay for but yet I continue to pay my monthly bill..... On the other hand customer service is really good and theyre willing to work with you.
I had them over a year no real problem except when i got hit with COVID tried talking to them and letting them know they told me that they would take me off of the automatic payments and they lied and costed me 50 dollars in over drafts and there full of liers that just want your money

Horrible company. I canceled my dads Internet plan with the century link. He was there for 18 years. I placed the order on the Internet and they agreed to it. I come to find out by calling the business that the area we live in is unavailable. Mind you sparklight charged my dad and approved him.
I have a medical practice and today the service wast cut off completely around 2:PM ( no internet, no phone, no fax service ). I had to cancel all my patients at site coz I had no phone service neither a way to look into Electronic medical records. It’s 11:00 PM and still no service, no way to send out e-prescription to patients. And when I called costumer service All I get, we are sorry for the inconvenience but we do not have an estimate of when the service will be resumed. However every punctually they 675.00 for their service . and this happens at least 3 to 4 timer per year. What a sham

Absolutly love that it reaches everyware in my house my kids can do their work.My step son can game and my husband and i can use our smart tv all day. Without it interupting or loading. Why am I paying for high speed internet when I can’t even get it?! I get told over and over we are working on it, but when myself and 2 other neighbors have the same issue are y’all really working on it!!! 2 days now we’ve been calling to get it fixed and get told it’s fixed when it’s not!

I made a payment of as much as I could not that outrageous of a outstanding balance payment went through last check and customer for over 20 years lmao . Will never recommend this company, cant even turn back on first stage of disconnect all weekend will have no internet WARNING! Other companies in the same service work on the weekends and do not treat you like a piece of well you know just call them and find out yourself and cancel your service at the same time. Make sure you have all the equipment and do not let the technician take them and say they will take care of it. 350.00 I was charged for a 9 year old unit really! This company just wants your money and they are not going to do a damn thing to help the customers.

Oh man I tried to order with a competitor and not only did they mess up my whole order I was told I had to wait two weeks for someone to set up my service. I called these guys and got a great WiFi package plan. Yes a tad pricy but no more than I would expect anywhere else. Our technician Daniel did did a great job!!!

I dont know why there offering free internet in there parking during cov19 lot might as well be dial up, Its intermitant and slow just what an elderly person wants to sit in the heat in there car for a long time, I guess they did it to make them selves look good and charitable to everyone, this says a lot about the company, when I first went there couldnt belive no one in the parking lot getting free internet, now I see why might as well not even waist ur time going there u can do better at WAL-MART
Never had a problem with it. Only dont give 5 stars because of the data cap. If it was either unlimited, or at least 1T, I wouldnt have a problem with it, but unfortunately, had to switch to Century Link.PS: I only had them for 3 months..
There system us telling them one date and the hard disconnect is 2 days after the soft disconnect. I am not the only person this has happened to. Then they want 90 dollar reconnect 25 deposit and another month in advance. I was a customer for over 10 years and I get treated this way. DO NOT USE SPARKLIGHT
Really overpriced and not a good quality of picture. Been a customer for over 15 years and now that they switched names channel 8 skips every 60 seconds makes this very annoying. Wish there was another option here in Roswell cause spark light can just keep giving bad service and no repercussions. These monopolies should not exist. No point in talking to them anymore cause they just say it’s the channel not us but wouldn’t do it back in the day. This just started and get no where with this company.

Can hardly get a person on the phone. They turn yoi off if you’re 2days late, even with promises to pay, the service is trashy, but we don’t have much to choose from, so spark light it is.... please bring cable one back. At least then we didn’t buffer
-UPDATE Below(2nd paragraph)-So far so good. Only drawback is at least two or three times in a 24 hour period it seems to freeze or update. It lasts only about 5 minutes but can be annoying while watching a program. Other than that, the speed is fast.Still having a few issues with this company. Initially no issues connecting devices but devices are basically being dropped and cannot reconnect. Frustrating to say the least especially when youre taking online courses and paying $125 monthly for service. Just about ready to switch.

Pleasant/competent installation technicians. Much improved picture (with same TV and settings) compared to signal from DirectTV (a.k.a. AT&T) dish. Like the TIVO DVR a lot. Much, much faster internet than what we had with Century Link (DSL). We has been limping along with AT&T/Century Link until we got pod about losing CBS (some of our fav shows) due to Nexstar dispute that started July 4. Now happy we had a good reason to research alternatives and switch!
Please plateau, expand faster. Expensive, poor customer service, went from 50 dollers a month to 160 all because of their data cap.
My Technician Richard went above and beyond to provide me one of the best isp svc in town. I had a very disappointing experience with the (old) Cable One svc but now I think I could trust their svc (Sparklight).
Pretty good service HOWEVER,. every couple of months I get notices that I have exceeded by data! I think this is a scam. I dont trust their billing practices and the HUGE PRICE TAG CONTINUES TO GROW! I hate to leave Cable One but I REFUSE TO BE GOUGED. THIS IS TURNING INTO A RIP OFF. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. NO MORE. AFTER 30 YEARS, GOODBYE CABLE ONE.
Never had an issue until the switch. Constantly having trouble staying connected and it continuously freezes, now Im having trouble even connecting my device(s).
Honestly terrible experience. Overcharged, figures changed every time I called, got disconnected, no one saved info so everything needed to be re-done. So many hours lost and spend on phone. Terrible
Best Internet service I have ever had. The phone service is great. I could barely hear with my old phone service. With Cable One it is crystal clear.
Expensive price for mediocre service. The technology is lagging behind the satellite cable providers. The internet is fast but has a data cap. The customer service is not very good. They will change the price on you after your first month because they have a clause in their agreement that allows them to. Its under the additional service fees and it can range from month to month depending on what they want to charge. The service goes out often. Overall way too expensive. Just cut the cord and go with the streaming services if you have no other options

Caps on data usage are inflicted which is ungodly in pricing. Because of very little competition in Roswell, NM, this allows CableOne to rape everyones wallet. The hours are difficult, they neither open that early, nor stay open late enough to turn in equipment. After a women stating online that they could lower my cost to $106 as a valued customer, my bill shot up $12 to $174! This is ridiculous!
I worked as an installer and a helpdesk tech for a cable company. This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen. I pay for 200MB down I am super lucky if I get 50MB down. Tech was suppose to come out between 1-5. 5pm came around no tech no call. I call the company they tell me no ETA just sit by the phone and wait. Cable one SUCKS worst cable company ever. Comcast please save us.
The absolute worst service I have ever had in the past 15 years in 6 different cities in 3 different states. The hardware youre forced to rent is poor. Download speeds are rarely as advertised. Connection drops at least once a week. Upload speeds are abysmal, even on a 100mb DL package. Please plateau, expand faster.
They have decent internet, but they charge ridiculous prices and give a 300GB bandwidth cap on the first tier which is annoying and want us to go to next tier which we cant afford to move to. We have three people using the internet here and 300 to 600 wouldnt be enough for us. Most cable companies say its to ensure everyone has a premium experience but its a BS motto they go with and its to make sure they drain every penny out of you.
Prices get higher the more data that you use... Not sure if thats a good thing when you have a big family...
I have had internet access with Cable One for years, they are second to none as far as service and taking care of the few problems I have had in a timely manner.

I give them MINUS 4 stars! Getting someone on the phone is almost impossible. Then they tell different stories (lies). Cancelled service due to cost awful customer service and erroneous information. Dont even keen regular office hours so you can return equipment. .

Not that good and bad customer service
Had an installtion issues where the installer hit our water line and 3 months go by to find out he also hit our electrical line too. We find this out only after our home loses power on half of the house and haveing to call a perfessional electrician. He had to trouble shoot all the wires all the breakers. It took two days to find out why parts of our house will not get power. His findings were that our home was grounding out at the main electrical cables that are running underground to the pole. They were knicked in three different spots. Since the installer did not dig his own trench he used the same trench as the electricity he compromised the wire with his digging device. With the wires being open not properly coated and oxidizing underground from weather and moisture he in turn caused the power loses to my home and caused my husband and I to pay $687.90 to the electrician. I call the home office i go by i show them the evidence give them the bill offer the cell number of the electrician. they refer me to the area manager who refer me to corporate. They refer me to their insurance company who says they are not gonna pay.If you train your employees right and make sure they do their own work . To dig there own trenches and lay the lines. The water main and the electricity would not have happened. Im just a customer that expected only what was promised fast professional and accurate service. Instead we received half ass work that almost burnt my house down. We will see you in court!
Ridiculous prices and shoddy service. During peak hours, the TV signal gets scrambled and the internet slows down to a crawl. When you call to complain all they want to do is up-sell you to a more expensive plan. If you are new to Roswell, check out Direct TV or Dish.
Sucks they took away all turner channels no CNN no news channels. Really sucks as the government is shutdown and we have to get news on line. Just made me figure out how to get my channels without paying ridiculously high rates....netflix or stream line computer to tv and thatis free. I hope cable becomes something of the past. The CEOs ad on tv is a joke. I will cancel my service as soon as they answer their phones which has not been happening. I am also filing a PUC complaint.
