I cant say enough good things about this gym. The manager & staff are always welcoming & helpful. Planet Fitness is spacious, always clean & never crowded. Ive been a member since they opened in 2014. Weylin, is the best trainer theyve ever had!! He is so knowledgeable & makes every class versatile & enjoyable. I feel he has really helped me tone & get stronger. Weylin is an awesome trainer & a huge asset to this gym.

Price is great but they vacuum with very loud vacum during the day right next to you. it does not make for an enjoyable workoutI have asked if there is a certain times they do this at so I can avoid it but they said theres no specific time and theyre not willing to do it at night when others are not there. its 24 hour place.

Cant beat the price. Awesome customer service and I can work out 24/7. Unlike other gyms wifh limited hours like F4t5 open 9 to 6 and charge triple.

Nice and clean, staff does a great job. Would give it a 5 if it had dumbbells up to 75 (like several other pf’s I have visited), a second set of barbells and 6 or so more 45 lb plates. That would make it a 5 like a few other pf’s I have visited.

The weekday evening staff is friendly and someone is always cleaning. Everything is spaced out, locker rooms are clean, it’s a comfortable place to workout. As a female I always feel safe and comfortable.

The variety of each class and instructor keeps my workouts interesting. The group class schedule is great and anytime you would want is available.

Always clean and safe. It is also easy to freeze the account if one is not going for a while. Very understanding and accommodating.

This is my favorite gym! I used to be a member at LA fitness and I am glad I switched to planet! I prefer to work out at night and Joe and Juliane keep this place in top top shape! They are both so welcoming and great at cleaning. Definitely recommend the gym to others!

This is a very nice Planet Fitness facility. Clean, neat and orderly. Very friendly staff.There are lots of lots of cardio machines in her for those that are into that sort of thing. Theres also a good amount of weight.The whole place is spacious and feels very uncrowded despite the amount of equipment on the floor.

Jordan and Andre are the worst. Jordan is management which is purely insane. Really do not know how to talk to people. Caught Jordan being rude to Katlyn and making her change light bulbs when there are men already there walking around doing nothing. Never seen them sweep or clean anything. Just horrible vibes. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.

Absolutely love this gym. The owners are super nice. The energy is amazing here, everyone is so helpful and wants to see you succeed.

The place is clean, the people are well behaved and friendly. Only thing I wish is, that they had heavier barbells. Maybe 100 lbs. rather than 60 lbs.

Right next to work, more crowded than most locations in the immediate area but still pandemic safe. Its clean and comfortable. Would like to see a few more machines because I do end up waiting for the ones I need unless I go late at night.

Fun staff! Loved seeing boards like these! The place gets busy during evening times and you may need wait for squat racks and for weights! The cardio section has plenty of treadmills and elliptical bikes, i never had to wait!

Nice gym overall. The employees are always cleaning so its always spotless there! I have a black card so I use the tanners from time to time and also the water massager! Ive been going here for about 4 years and it has definitely gotten busier and busier each year. Definitely try to go either early morning, midday, or late night to give you the best chance of some machines being available because they only have 1 of certain machines like preacher curls

Poor cleaning on the bathrooms and they are not providing any sprays and cleaning supplies on the locker area :( ( stay on top COVID)

Great location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym is clean and well lit. My only complaint for PF would be to allow members to place their membership on hold during part of the year. This location had a trainer named Anna back in 2015 or 2016 that my friends and I didnt have much confidence in: for 1) she was not physically fit, 2) she gave my two friends and I all the same workout plan and we all wanted something different: strength, lose weight, build muscle, 3) she did not show us or explain how to use some of the equipment. We just were not impressed.

The staff is what makes this the only gym I will go to. Everyone that works here is absolutely fantastic. They really care about their customer. They keep the facility very clean, and friendly. Highly recommend.

Overall a nice place, but I had to cancel my membership after a short time. I repeatedly informed the management that there was no enforcement of the rules of the circuit, which became an impediment to working out. When I told the front desk Id be cancelling, they didnt seem to care. So win-win.

Your standard planet fitness, the staff here is amazing though. John is my guy always helping me out. Im sad I had to move in to another gym but highly recommend for the price and location.

Better then most gyms but still not great. They promise much more then they deliver on between not having a teacher for the classes and the extra fees making it more expensive then it seems. Plus to make it worse you can not cancel online or over the phone. The only ways to cancel is in person. Even though you can sign up online. So they arent the casual no fuss gym they claim to be, but still a good option for a casual gym goer.

Equipment is very good, however staff is not knowledgeable about what some of the fitness items are, dont know what the QR Code Readers were for on each piece of equipment, had no idea how to use the Planet Fitness website, and didnt know what the Total Enhancement consisted of (told me to read the sign in the womens locker room. Additionally, the personal trainer I met with upon joining ran me thru a beginner workout plan and how to use the equipment in about 10 minutes. She didnt have a lot of time because she had to get to another location. I received better help from my son who belongs there.Bottom line is that the staff needs to be trained better.

If your an avid gym person Planet Fitness might not be for you, but if you’re starting out or just casual then this place is perfect. I only say that because there are no squat racks or bench press from what I’ve seen, only Smith machines and dumbbells. Overall the facility is kept very clean from equipment, bathrooms, locker rooms, etc. Planet Fitness is great though. Lots of machines so there’s never any waiting to get a set in. 10 outta 10 if you skip leg day..lol

The staff has improved this past year and they are always keeping the facility clean. Mopping the locker rooms, refilling paper towel and keeping the equipment clean. The selection of machines is good and all of the cardio equipment is newer and there are enough machines available during peak hours. Its nice having televisions while doing cardio as it passes the time.

I really like this PF! It’s clean and nice. The staff is really helpful and kind. Even when it’s really busy, you’re guaranteed to find a machine you want to use which is such a relief.The only downside is that they don’t have the purple reusable towels to wipe down equipment. You have to use paper towel.

Black Card members have access to tanning booth, body tone, massage bed and chair. Lockers and showers are available. An excellent place to workout after and before going to work.

Hopefully all Planet Fitness facilities are as nice as this one. And I mean this in a positive way. I signed up to do the free day pass. Havent been to any of the gyms but this one to see what all the buzz is about. Immediately I was greeted with a Planet Fitness representative greeting me and welcoming my presence. My thought of all gyms were crowded no room to move around ect. Not you from the time I was here to work out it was pleasant not crowded plenty of equipment to work out on. No negative personalities came from going here. It was an overall great gym. Staff was pleasant and informative when talking about membership deals. Would think about becoming a member.

Music on 3rd shift 4am 12.07.2018 TOO LOUD! New attendants unaware or unwilling to regulate. Since long time 3rd shift attendant quit, Rochester Hills Livernois location declining.12.15.2018. PF fixed the issue. Love this place. Reassigned a rating of 5 stars!

I tagged along as a guest of a PF member because I had heard good things about the gym and wanted to investigate for myself. For the low cost of about $10-20 a month for the basic and more inclusive (respectively) membership, this place was quite impressive. The staff seemed friendly and happy, and the girl at the front desk was knowledgeable and able to explain their policies, pricing, and promotions in sufficient detail.You’ll find plenty of machines, including treadmills, elliptical, bikes, and more. The entire gym is established on a single floor, but it’s massive – running around the perimeter of this place alone would make for a nice work-out. It’s a nice setting, with TVs lined across the wall. You can watch a Detroit Tigers game as a distraction from that urge to keep checking the timer and distance on your work-out machine’s dashboard.No, you won’t find fresh, hot towels with mints and iced tea waiting for you in the restrooms and locker rooms, but they were kept clean and tidy for the most part. I did a little searching and found some gum and grime in a couple of the showers, but that’s not exactly to be unexpected in a gym setting. Overall, I was pleased and would recommend that others in the Rochester area looking for an economically priced gym membership give it a shot.

Great gym, nice people. Super clean too. Can get crowded afther 5pm on weekdays, but everyone working out is nice so it is not too bad.

Pf is a decent gym despite not having bench press or squat rack. I figure I can mix in push ups and stuff to sub for bench. Pf is worth having because they are 24/7

Looks interesting... but understand that they only accept your checking account as payment. No auto bill to your credit card... no ability to pay cash.Im sure its a great business model for them, and they will politely explain why they think its best for you. But it doesnt work for me.

Very Clean. Equipment is new. Locker rooms are well maintained.Tanning beds are always wiped down. Staff is friendly. Members are all ages and not stuck up. Been to other locations in others states, this one by far is the cleanest.

Great training equipment, clean, and the staff is super friendly and courteous. I love their hydromassage too. They have some good trainers there, seek their advice, if you want to add flavor to your workouts.

Went to check out this location with my daughter, the staff was extremely rude and ignorant. Clearly showed they have enough customers that they dont care about service or even pretending they care about anything.

This is such a nice, clean, friendly place to work out with a lot of equipment and a personal trainer on staff included in membership price. A lot of free classes also.

Front dek staff have been friendly. Manager, Taylor is very kind and helpful. Their personal trainer Megan is unfortunately not interested in personal attention to members or private sessions. She says she works too many hours, so she doesnt have time. Perhaps PF should have more personal trainer there. It is a bit daunting to get onto certain machines for the first time and a trainer for a session or two just to assist and teach the correct techniques would be great.

Its kind of small for a fitness center but its good . It has everything what you need !

Great place to get your fitness needs for $10. The only thing that would make it better is a free barbell chest bench and a decline bench. Also a free standing bench press, or at least a large barbell would be useful too.

Went for 1 year. Equipment and facility always clean and in terrific working order. Never had to wait to get on a machine. Great deal! Ended up canceling only because it is 30 minutes away so a pain to get to. Wish they would open one in Lake Orion!

I am extremely impressed with sabrinas management. she is very open to any suggestions. when i pointed out something to her regarding the locker room bathroom stalls, she stopped what she was doing and immediately used the flashlight on her phone to examine my complaint. in other words, she took the time to make sure we were both on the same page and then she assured me that she would address this matter ...which she did. i have pointed this same issue out to previous managers and they all dropped the ball and nothing was done. sabrina not only has excellent communication skills but she is prompt in carrying out her desire to please the clients she works with. this comes across as being very responsible!!!

The planet fitness close to me doesnt have a Ab room so thats nice that this one does. Its really clean and I get nice vibes while being here. The will be my go to gym going foward 👍🏽
