A friend of mine recommended this training program just about a year ago, to use it for a marathon PR attempt. On March 21, I was supposed to run Go St Louis marathon, but I ended up doing a virtual, and shaved 21 minutes of my marathon time.Than in the fall I used it for a half training and even if I was not going for a PR I hit my goal beautifully.Today I just signed up for the advance 1/2 training looking to PR at the end of my 18 weeks. I am 52 years old, overweight male, and I promise you: This plans work. You have to stick with the program, but if I can do it, everyone can! Happy new year!
